This light floral aroma was created by Alberto Morillas of Firmenich. The gentle design of the bottle expresses the spring floral character of the fragrance, while red colour shows its passion. The top notes include: mandarin, bergamot, ginger and cinnamon. The heart encompasses jasmine, rose, lily and violet leaves. The base includes musk and woody notes. The perfume was created in 2003.

Nice for summer,light,fresh,and smells clean.
I got a sample of it and in the beginning it feels like red indeed, spicy and passionate, then it becomes more white. It's a fresh scent, rather cold, I think it suits a woman around 38-50 maybe... In Red definitely brings a mature woman to my mind. Spices, rose and white flowers with musk and a bit of wood, that's what I notice the most.
Not my cup of tea but I can imagine women liking it.
The bottle - no, thank you.
"In Red" - a misleading name. This one is not a warm, but an icy-cold fragrance, complemented by ginger and a whiff of citrusy petigrain. Certainly a vivacious scent, at the same time radiating a cool tranquillity. "In Red" with its bracing display of sharp citrus oils and pungent ginger has a breezing outdoors vivacity and it's a good bet for those who don't want to be associated with a classical "floral-feminine" fragrance, but want to smell as if they'd adopted this wonderfully refreshing "who cares attitude" to life. Not my cup of tea at all, but nevertheless a "thumps-up" scent.
Smells like independent women. On the other hand it's fresh and citrussy so I like it.
Citrusy but not as lemonade, more spring not summer, refreshing and not soapy, very sophisticated, decent to wear (even in the hospital). It has similar notes with D&G Blue but more musky in its base notes, ginger and zesty top notes make it very different. It makes me wake up in the morning and be ready for a new successful day.
What a great warm weather, fresh, lightly spiced scent. I have the EDP in the red bottle.
Bright and piquant with ginger and bergamot. Mandarine and spice give the top some softness and texture to the aromatic accord.
The florals are beautifully blended and have equal presence with violet leaf providing an distant dark, green earthy backdrop.
Soft woods are revealed in the dry down with a hint of ginger and fuzzy greenness, leaving a refreshing, yet grounded trail.
In Red radiates softly with fresh sophistication and congeniality.
What a rare find! Such a beautiful fragrance. To describe I would say its fresh and clean. It is in no way overwhelming or overwhelming.
It smells so clean and lovely. Perfect for the day, office or anywhere. This perfume could never offend anyone.
I agree with who said it draws attention but not in a look at me way. Its subtle and perfect.
Discovered this fragrance quite recently thanks to a very knowledgeable sales associate in a fragrance store. It has a hint of spice in the opening, then warms to a bittersweet citrus and dries down to a delicate spicy gentle floral combo that is not cloying or soapy, but rather mossy and warm. Lovely scent indeed - I liked it so much I bought a bottle!
In Red is :
Fresh - Floral - Spicy..
Light but not too clean/ fresh in my opinion..
It's too spicy & sometimes a little bit too sweet for a i-don't-know-what-i-must-wear-today-fragrance..
I don't like zillion of peppery notes in my perfume.. >_<
I'd go for Maxmara Le Parfum for clean-fresh-feminine-but still edgy fragrance / office friendly perfume, which has the right amount of peppery notes to me..
Or Armani Code Sheer for light-sexy-summer perfume..
Eclat d'Arpege is very light-refreshing (citrusy)-but still have elegance-ness though..
And for unmistakable-light-fresh-feminine-touch, i'd go for Carolina's 212 (Original) Woman.. ;)
I am getting a lemony zing! And a hint of lily. I wouldn't call this a floral though, it is much brighter, citrusy & a little aquatic as well. It is little wonder that people who ordinarily wouldn't love florals love this one!
To my nose this reads like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. Not the same but related (both have citrus, musk, oakmoss, amber & jasmine). In Red seems to be the prettier, demure sister though.
I imagine this would be a refreshing perfume for summer but here comes the 'but' - citrus smells makes me anxious which is why I gave up Green Tea to begin with.
It is however one of the best citrus blends I have come across though so if that is your thing, I thoroughly recommend In Red.
Fresh & flirty perfume. The ginger zing stands out which I love. Bergamot is fresh. Violet is definitely there along with a hint of rose. I don't smell the cinnamon yet. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Really liking this. I picture riding in a convertible with the sun shining brightly, green grass swaying and passing rose bushes along side the road their gentle scent wafting thru the breeze. A perfectly refreshing summer scent.
flirty,sexy and elegance
i can't stop sniffing my hands.
really love this one!!!
Light, a bit woody, floral, excellent for spring and warm autumn time, sunny, for casual wear (as for me), make me feel easy and flying. I would really love to buy another bottle of it. However, not a large one, as it can tire sometimes.
I got a little perfume of this today.
I am very glad, i am so in love with this perfume. I bought edp.
Now i will buy me a bigger bottle, so lovely fresh and sweet/sour!!!
The lilys, bergamot and jasmine are the strongest notes in this scent. Heavenly.
Gorgeous, mesmerizing floral! In Red is graceful and elegant, yet it has an attitude and an edge. It is sparkling and energetic, but not too young or girly. Love it from the first bergamot splash, through the ginger and flowers to the slightly mossy still spicy dry down!
And it is not overly advertised, so you almost definitely will be one of the few wearing it.
I adore this scent! It's complex, very sexy and elegant, light frag but yet passionate & sensual. It's the best! I think it would fit any age & any time of year...
In Red starts all citrusy and sparkling-ly spicy. Bergamot is the most distinct among the top notes. The spices heat it up a bit in the very beginning.
Then becomes lightly floral, the most detectable note for me is lily. Maybe also a bit of violet leaf. And freesia, which isn't listed. Can't really smell jasmine or rose.
The base is light with woods, not very musky.
For me it's more a very light citrus-floral ...
Naturally fresh and charming, with a wink. Classy and intelligent, making an impression - I mean, they may forget the smell, but they won't forget the feeling it gave them ... Sunny and springy.
But, somehow, not entirely my thing.

I'm sorry for my bad-English.. ^^;
Very pretty-this is what I think of when I imagine a floral fragrance well-suited to a woman called Anonymous. While this doesn't suit my personality terribly much, it manages not to smell too rosy, too lily-like or too green, maintaining a softness, a sophisticated spring elegance that I haven't smelled much elsewhere-- although I am not sure I can say I have never smelled a perfume that resembles this.I have not smelled anything quite like this out in crowds of women anywhere, so I recommend it.
I have more than one personality surely, so this fits one of them! The dry down is so beautiful too, that I have fallen in love yet again, with yet another square peg!
I tried a sample a few months before and i cannot forget it... because it's soft, lasting, with class, you can wear it at any moment...
I think i will give it to me on Christmas.
It's perfect!
i just got my red bottle. it's so perfect for summer, for ppl who love to be noticed yet not screaming am here.
it`s one of the best floral fragances i have, unique.
The best for Summer and if you are lucky it will sound gorgeous on you! I collected a lot of compliments wearing it last summer. My true love;)
Light, flowery and flighty.Reminded me a bit of Eclat Arpege, but more flowers vs more citrus in Arpege. Very pleasant.
Light, touching, extremely passionate. I don't like floral fragrances, but this one is an exception.
Thank you, Alberto Morillas!!!
