Generally, I am not a fan of Avon perfumes, but I have to give this one a credit! It's quite distinguishable,woody, warm and rich fragrance)) I also agree with other comments that it smell very sexy!
I've actually forgot for couple years that i had this frag on my shelf, but recently i rediscovered it; there's still 3/4 left and i was thinking to swap it but then i changed my mind. I'm glad i have it in my collection))

A wonderful oriental fragrance!
I still remember that unforgettable
smell after maybe 5 or 6 years.
It a pity it isn't available in my country anymore. :-(((

This starts with a fresh note, like earl grey, but becomes spicy, woody, flowery after half an hour.
Although it's clearly oriental it has an uplifting-fresh character - and never neither heavy nor cloying.
There is some musk in the drydown, but it's just a feeling of warmth and comfort. I'm so happy I was able to grab 3 bottles and I'm stocking up still :)

I very much regret that it was discontinued. Before it I was never much of a perfume person. Changed everything. I have a large stock of the body spray now, and a few of the eau de parfums.

I've just found the fragrance notes in French, here's the translation:

Top notes: bergamot, mandarin, pear, freesia, tea

Middle notes: rose, flamboyante, bayberry

Base notes: patchouli, amber, musk

Bayberry or Bay Rum Tree (Pimenta racemosa) is a spice used in Caribbean cuisine.

Surrender is a little gem, not your average Avon scent. It's a well-blended, balanced, transparent yet rich composition that would easily stand up as high-end. It doesn't go through big transformations but rather shows its multiple facets one at time.

For the first hour I'm getting lots of sweet and sour, aromatic - peppery citruses accentuated with patchouli and musk. Being an oriental as opposed to a floral oriental, the transparent and slightly spicy exotic florals stay in the background wafting in and out of the middle notes, to which the fizzy, sweet and sour notes give a lovely, ozonic feel.

The drydown is mostly musk with a hint of creamy musk with a touch of exotic florals that reminds me of a sweeter, better-done version of Surreal Garden's drydown. A pretty skin scent that's stays fresh and naturally sweet while being soft, creamy and exotic. Only a slight disappointment, the lasting power is about 6 hours, tough it clings well to clothes (up till next day). Not bad from such an airy and transparent composition.

Apparently made by Givaudan, the fragrance manufacturer that create high-end perfumes for houses like Givenchy or Prada.

I liked the male version Surrender but it disappeared from my country:( And I see it's available in U.S.A. Fragrancex sells by name Avon Instict for men, if I could see right..

Looking through Avon brochures, I've always seen Surrender & never tried to test it.
Lately, I read encouraging reviews about it& that it's so similar to YSL Elle. So, I gave it a shot.
I LOVE it, it's soooo sexy & so feminine in the same time. I can't even count the compliments I got from both girls & guys about my perfume :)
About it being similar to Elle, yeah.. it is similar but I love it even more..

Somewhat similar to Boss Intense, but more fruity, more modern, more feminine, longer lasting. Another Avon fragrance that smells expensive and too bad it was discontinued in my country: my cousin used it and I loved it on her. A girl who wears Surrender seduces me too. I know I have mentioned some women fragrances I enjoy on girls, the list is long. Well, add this to my list.

I love this scent! My favorite was always instinct.. They had discontinued instinct, but my husband found and ordered me a bottle. Come to find out the name changed to Surrender.. Im happy I found it again!

Surreal is fantastic. It has the power to make a simple moment becomes erotic and so hot. Surreal is for sexy women but with personality.
