I smell coconut and something fresh like mint. maybe a bit nutty even like a soft peanut butter. the dry down gives a soft coconuty peanut on my skin.
smell nice but I dont think its easaly wearable as perfume

Turkish delight? Um, no but I can attest that it does represent a very nice Coconut Ice. For those who are not familiar with this achingly sweet and delicious school fete treat, it involves a large quantity of dessicated coconut, half a kilo of icing sugar, vanilla essence, some kind of liquid bonding agent and pink food dye.

Coconut and vanilla therefore are very prominent here and I can also feel the tartness from the bergamot which I gather is supposed to represent that peculiar bitter quality real Turkish Delight seems to have.

I can see where Ayala was going with the rahat loukoum reference but Caberet is too sweet, lacks a firm gelationus/powdery quality and buries its rose too deeply to make the grade.

I would give it a try if you are fond of very sweet candy gourmands.

To my nose there's nothing reminiscent of rahat loukum here. I only get some tart fruity-woodsy notes in the beginning then comes the velvet rose and in a while the sillage reminds me of forest LOL))
