Velvety and deep aromas on a warm base of woods and iris along with cool, green notes of violet leaf and boronia create this unusual, mysterious fragrance of extreme individuality.
Notes: amber, anis seed, boronia, carnation, incense, cedarwood, neroli, orris root and tarragon.
It is available as 9 ml perfume extract, 4 ml mini perfume and 5 ml purse perfume. The nose behind this fragrance is Ayala Sender.
This perfume pulls together two of my favorite things: freshly indigo-dyed cotton and violets in spring at Eltham Palace, a lovely art deco manor just outside London whose gardens are a perpetual delight to me. It smells of civilisation: mysterious bales of cloth wrapped around violet-scented ointments arriving at a wharf somewhere in the ancient world. This is a lovely, cool, scent, one which causes people to come up to me and try to work out what the exquisite smell is. Longer-lasting than some of Ayala Moriel's other confections. Grown-up and serious without being heavy.
