Immanquablement ce parfum tourne sur ma peau.
L'association rose/notes fruitées/iris, étrangement, sur ma peau ne va pas du tout.
Je n'insiste pas, je passe à autre chose....
Dommage.

It is one of my favorite perfume, but the problem is that
i can not find it in any perfume shope.
Is anybody can tell me please where can i found it for
to buy. Thanks to every person who likes this perfume.
Strikingly similar to Coco Madamoselle on my skin. I get the same citrus top notes, or shall I say orange top notes. The aldehydes in this perfume are barely noticable. It was a little sharp in the beginning but now the dry down is so similar to Coco Mdsle with the chrype like base and the patchouli. Very classy and sophisticated.
Azzaro Couture (original) was created 1975 and is today discontinued, or rather, replaced by a modernized reissue. However, this review is all about the old pure jus.
Azzaro Couture pure perfume is darker but also smoother than the edp. The peach inside is much more pronounced, like a glowing amber encased in a dark gothic jewel. It doesn't have the freshness that usually comes with the peach, but the delicious silky sweetness (like in Mitsouko pp) slightly spiced with coriander.
While the edp is brightened by aldehydes and has some amount of powdery iris which creates a noticable trail, the perfume has rarely any aldehydes and the amount of powdery notes are low. Therefore the perfume stays much closer to the skin. It's very satisfying for me, but for a night out I may consider layering it with the edp to enhance it's luxurious aura.
As with the edp it's difficult to track down any individual notes in the stunning floral heart. It's just such a perfect blend embedded in sensual woody, mossy and animalistic notes that gradually enters the scene from the base. And the base is warm, inviting and very very sensual.
I'm continuously looking for my top 5 signatures: THE top five perfumes that I will keep for the rest of my life. I'm now quite sure that Azzaro Couture original is one of them.
I read somewhere that this marvellous creation was Loris Azzaros signature, so I guess it might work very well as an unisex perfume.
Hi Mymlan!
Oh how much I envy you having a big bottle of this....

Azzaro Couture original (edp) is pure sensual sofistication in a bottle. This stunning gem has the most luxurious air. I feel like a million bucks wearing it. It has a grace similar to Coco Chanel, but I find it even more classy. Azzaro is richer, still it's more quiet about that. It's not a shouting fragrance as many from the 70's and 80's were, yet not weak.
This complex blend is difficult to bone down into individual notes. It has the most perfect balance between a high content of both floral and animalistic notes. This balance creates a very sensual fragrance. But instead of beeing in your face about that, these notes are firmly grounded with a touch of powdery iris and woods, which result is a classy sensual air.
The notes I have on my demonstration bottle says "Principaux Composants": rose, tuberose, gardenia, jacinthe, jasmin, ylang ylang, iris, vetiver, sandal, coriander, peche, ambre gris, musc, civette.
I think it also contains at least a few more chypre elements like oakmoss and patchouli. I'm unsure if Azzaro is correctly classified here as a woody chypre. It's rather a floral chypre in my opinion.
Azzaro is well worth buying if you find it. When you first spray on your skin it may come out a bit odd from the coriander. But just give it a few minutes to develope and...mmmmmmmmm… I think Azzaro is one of my best blind buys ever. Thanks Action for your short but powerful inspiration :).
Ps: Don't mix up this classic beauty with the reissue from 2008.
Update: Today I got the pure perfume. In three words: "La petite mort".
This one is a MUST MUST MUST have for the lovers of classics! But unfortunately not easy in large bottles to obtain..
