Del Mar Marbella Edition Baldessarini for men

So much fruits in this...smell exotic. Since I already bought it I gotta wear it and well I'm not used to fruity smell like this.
I guess the composition is quite feminine but it's fresh start for warm weather I think it will last

Not sure what molecule might be involved, but it smelled like fruit juice mixed with toxic chemicals to me. If you are sensitive to the newer chemicals being used, especially in aquatic fragrances, you should sample first. It was beginning to make me nauseous so I couldn't go through with a full wearing.

The top notes most definitely have apple and coconut. This site only lists grapefruit which is wrong.

That being said, this is easily better than the original Del Mar (which seems like peppery saltwater to me). This doesn't really have anything in common with the other Del Mar's. This is fruity with zero saltiness.
The orange color definitely suits this scent; After the initial blast, this mellows down to oranges, slight vetiver.

I wouldn't put too much weight on the note pyramid mentioned in the beginning of this article. It is way too minimalistic, this scent has more going on.

Unforgettable scent, an hour later you realize that this is something special. smacks of summer vacation and a good mood, the smell really excited feelings write good comments:)
I would also like to try Baldessarini Seychelles Limited Edit, watermelon scent sounds very tasty, at least for me:)

Del Mar Marbella is my second favourite of the Baldessarini Del Mar line behind Seychelles.

I mainly get a blast of mellow citrus, followed by a spicy heart accord, then a beautiful musky drydown. It’s as masculine as the Seychelles Edition, but not as strong. This one seems to have more of an overall woody feel to it.

Sillage and longevity are pretty good. After about 4 – 5 hours, I felt the need to re-apply.

For what it’s worth my personal order of preference for the Del Mar line goes:

1. Del Mar Seychelles – 5/5
2. Del Mar Marbella – 4/5
3. Del Mar Caribbean – 3.5/5
4. Del Mar Baldessarini – 3/5

I’ll probably re-purchase this one when it runs out.

Of the many 'editions' Del Mar has (why??) I only sampled the normal blue one and this. The original edition had nothing special, but this is a gem. I had some people smell it and they reacted with a quaint smile. It's a smooth operator, comfortable and accessible but so very refined and also it has a strong but silent sexy undercurrent that makes the experience as a whole difficult to put into words, hence the speechless reactions I got. To me it felt like I had been waiting for this all my life.

I use this as a light summer fragrance, not for the office or dates. Although light I wouldn't recommend liberal use as it is intended to be a soft smell and over use doesn't suit the fruit element.

A great summer scent. Light and delicate fruity top notes with a strong tangerine and grapefruit presence, also with maybe a little apple. Similar to Mandarina Duck for Men, but better: more tantalizingly complex and without the odd notes at the end.

The sillage is light and it doesn't project well, particularly on drier skin, so like all Baldessarini scents apply it liberally if you want it to say "hi" and then last awhile. The vetiver carries it at the end.

smell misleading. First we had the impression of being present, but now I realize that is a perfume created by much, very much inspired by the acstui man. Boss ... keep it up. I'm from Romania Alin

This is special cologne that you can’t forget it.
Warm and delicious scent of ripe orange mixed whit mint and tobacco and something something!

It is lovely and kind.

Kind of a wolf in sheep's clothing, this is sheer seduction but not playboy style, and powerful but not loud. Something to put on together with a couture Brioni dinner jacket. Bond-style.

I think its more a fragrance for outside wear in summer, not so much for the office.

I think this fragrance is good for businessmen and it doesn't fit for people who wear, for example, sport clothes. This fragrance has a very strong longetivity (I can smell it even in the late evening after a day of hard office work and it stills on clothes even longer). But ther is one BUT: it is ONLY for summer. It is really authentic summer fragrance and it doesn't play well during other seasons (examined by muself).

starts of fruity and keeps that fruity touch along with oceanic breezey smell in it.
this fragrance gives me a good summery feeling.
i just have sprayed it on my wrist and have it on for about 1 and half hour i think sillage is ok i cant say anything about the longevity yet but af it is like del mar carribean it will be great!
so overall i think this is a beautiful fragrance

what can i say more?? it's very nice, untoxic, happymaker scent. for me it's the same leaque as "un jardin..." by hermes. fruits in this perfume are so vivid, long lasting and not to sweat. what's importand that it has good longevity. >6 hours. really one of the best fragrance for holiday/chillout/longue/.
i feel like kind in candy store waiting for new editions of "del mar"

i like all the line from this brand, and i'm surprised because i'm not convinced about any of the boss fragances , and Baldessarini is part of this house. Maybe the baldessarini scent designers work with real freedom or inspiration, who knows...
