Jade Banana Republic for women

I don't like many perfumes but this one's OK. It's gentle and classy yet modern. I wouldn't wear it on a date, but it's nice for everyday. I'm wearing it this fall, but I live in Florida. It reminds me of a sunny but cold day on a college campus.

Banana Republic JADE is a very friendly and likeable not-too-fruity, not-too-floral, slightly woody fragrance perfect for the modern "no barriers" cubicle-style office, since it smells good without being pushy and insistent. Clean and fresh but with no citrus or aromatics, this relatively linear edp also has a resinous quality which sustains the juiciness of the passionfruit and whatever the floral bouquet here is (unnamed in the notes and with no particular petal marked enough to be singled out by my nose...).

I like JADE and am happy to have a 50ml bottle, which I purchased blind after having tested the other BR frags in mini bottles (JADE was not available for some reason), by which I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, BR uses well-regarded perfumers, I have since learned, so no surprise was in order! JADE is a nice, albeit unexceptional fragrance with a quiet, subtle appeal. Good for hot weather--no one will feel poisoned in the wearer's presence. (-:

this is a very odd scent, I think. Not very fruity at all, but certainly floral in a slightly oh so slightly powdery way, without becoming old fashioned. There is a clear note of cedar to me....it's almost unisex if not for the lovely lovely floral notes. I imagine.....a young, elegantly dressed woman working in a library with an eccentric-but-stylish fashion sense there. Maybe with rectangular glasses, dark wash skinny pants, and a lace cami with black bomber jacket and super straight hair.

This perfume exudes elegance and freshness, yet the woodsy-ness grounds it so it's not too airy. I like to layer it with Nina Ricci Nina for a more feminine scent; I couldn't believe how well the two complemented each other!

I love this scent, it is great for a summer date. It is fresh but will be noticed. This is a summer scent and might not fair well in the colder months but is sill very lovely and nice for a collection

I enjoy this Banana Republic scent it is very delicate... and can even be worn everyday. Not an overpowering fragrance. Completely... recommended to purchase.

First time when i heard "Banana Republic" i imagined: African tropical woods and rain which drops from exotic fruits, this describtion also fits to this perfume.

"Jade" is a subtle fruity/floral but also woody one. People may thing it could smell simple because of the few notes but it smells like much more for me.
The tropical pomegranate conjures a fresh and very fruity beginning which is round off by the silky softness of musky cotton flower. A happy end prepares the kashmir woods, which gives this scent an oriental flair. Its good for sunny days and casual wear. The bottle is elegant, clear and modest, it comes into a round, woody and also pretty box.
