smelled promising but vanished on my skin in an hour or less. so that's why their fragrances are affordable.
it smells like lemonade ,i dont like it at all
A fruity mimosa scent, a little screechy in the opening because of the apple, bergamot and carambola, which are all tart and/or acidic fruits. The rose is bright pink and powdery with thick velvety petals.... The overall scent is clean, fruity but with a musky powdery base. The sandalwood is very peculiar here, and probably synthetic. When the amber note finally emerges, it makes this scent more enjoyable to my nose, but still, it is hard for me to overlook how strong the apple/musk presence is. Not a keeper personally, but it is a pleasant enough scent, not sophisticated but not cheap smelling either. I really think it would appeal to the fans of the newly launched See by Chloe... apples, musk... I think I even like this one a little better and it is much cheaper! The mimosa is fun and I think this EdT is a bit different and interesting.
You can definitely tell the difference in my reviews depending on whether I am blown away and having a perfume epiphany or if I'm only reviewing a so-so newish fragrance as a service to my fellow Fragranticans.... can't you? haha
update on the final dry down in a few hours!
Ok, I'm back... and the dry down is fabric softener sheets. Not always a bad thing for many. But that's really not for me. Back to the store!
Benetton Hot Gold is one of my favorite fragrances. I bought this as a blind buy, and I'm glad I did! Economically priced, and smells great. I got compliments from my male coworkers first time I wore it. This is a fruity floral, inoffensive daytime/ everyday type of scent. Top notes are sweet and citrusy, I can detect the bergamot and apple. It dries down soon after and you lose most of the citrus, it's still sweet, but a bright fruity sweet probably due to the starfruit. This is mixed with the emerging florals, sweetly rosy and mimosa-y. The base is soft and warm, I detect mostly white musk and a whisper of the fruity florals from before. Hot Gold lasts about 3 hours on me max, and the sillage is fairly soft. But, I don't feel guilty reapplying throughout the day because it's relatively inexpensive!
