White Muguet Berkeley Square for women

i bought three white line from berkeley square on an australian shopping online site.. so i came here and read some reviews and decided to buy them, plus it wasn't that expensive and i was in love with the retro and simple packaging..

so, white muguet is... jasmine !! jasmine in the opening, jasmine in between, jasmine everywhere.. well if you love jasmine, i really really recommend this one.. the staying power is up to 4 5 hours, and the fragrance doesn't really change after few hours.. i love this as it reminds me of spring, and of course jasmine.. really lovely smell.. imagine me wearing sundress, on my bike, with wind blow through my hair, this scent is perfect.. bottom line, ladylike and jasmine

White Muguet is a white-green floral.
Jasmine dominates all its phases, and green nuances show mostly in the very beginning and in the end.
I didn't smell any lily-of-the-valley.

Serious sillage, good staying power.
With this one I have the same problem as with White Amber: it's supposed to be natural, but to me it smells artificial.
Although not expensive, not worth its price for me.

This is part of the BSQ Couture line, in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria & Albert Museum in London).
These fragrances were created to celebrate the life and work of top London fashion photographer John French and this is reflected in the chic black and white packaging, illustrated with retro photos of models.
The great thing about this line is that they use no parabens or other nasties that can cause allegies (or interact with our hormonal balance for that matter).
This fragrance comes in a 100ml heavy frosted glass bottle.

Muguet means lily of the valley in French, and surprisingly for such a small flower, it packs a punch scent-wise.
This tiny wonder however doesn’t take too kindly to being manhandled, and has so far refused to surrender its olfactory treasure via natural means of extraction.
As such, every lily fragrance used in perfumery is synthetic… and sadly all too volatile.
As its name implies, this is supposed to be a soliflore, but the lily is all too quickly kicked out the door by the strong queen in residence: Jasmine.

It is a nice, pretty, and very feminine fragrance, but I don’t know if the ten minutes of lily warrants the price tag, when all you are left with is a scent that is very similar to the very cheap essential oil of jasmine I also have in my collection.
Bottom line: For jasmine lovers only.

A clean and simple fragrance that opens with lily of the valley and then morphs into a light summery jasmine. I actually really like the simplicity of this fragrance because it makes for a lovely humid summer spritz. Cool, clean and rather linear, yes, but in the heat that's sometimes just what I want.
