Beautiful Grace is a new limited edition perfume from the fashion and lifestyle brand Betty Barclay, launched in January 2011 as a heir of Beautiful fragrance (2009). Romantic and passionate, Beautiful Grace emphasizes sensuous, provocative, seductive and charismatic side of a woman.
The composition is a blend of girlish charm and feminine passion developed with fruity, floral and sweet notes intensified by patchouli. It opens with white peach, black currant and yellow plum. The tempting heart notes include tiare flower, white freesia and chocolate pralines, supported by the warm and soft base of patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla.
The bottle is shaped like its predecessor, this time painted in black and dark shades of pink and decorated with lace motifs reminiscent of the sexy lingerie. Beautiful Grace is available as 20 ml EDT, 75 ml deodorant spray and 200 ml shower gel.

It is nice, creamy and very feminine. The fruits stay the the whole time through and mingle nicely whith the sweets and flowers. Well blend indeed, if there just wouldn't be that hairspray impression that is so typical for all Barclay scents. To me they all end up with the "Mommy is right back from the hairdresser with her concrete-hairdo"-feeling.
That's not a bad thing if it fits you and you like that type of perfume, but way to neat for me and so non offensive that the thought of wearing it makes me shiver in a way.

I liked it on paper and nearly bought it. Peaches and praline would be a scent I like too :) But then I tried it on my skin and it did not work well there. The drydown was more like a typical drugstore floral with a touch of vanilla. It also doesn't last that long.

Peaches and praline?
This was supposed to be an absolute winner for me. Also the bottle very cute.
The opening is very gentle,light and becomes a little more articulated. The transition of the phases however them takes place in minutes if not quicker.
The smells nice, light-weight gourmand, fortunately more flowers/fruits than sugar which gave an airy composition. I did not myself get much of the praline. Reminds me of CH 212 Vip and CH 212 Sexy.
Only problem is - other than the lack of originality of the fragrance - that this one seems to evaporate in a mere hour.
