Bijan is a female fragrance launched in 1986. It was created in the cooperation with Peter Bohm, and it opens in notes of ylang-ylang, narcissus, orange blossom, bergamot, neroli and pimeto. There is Persian jasmine, Bulgarian rose, lily-of-the-valley, carnation, honey, orrisroot and tuberose at the heart. The base brings Moroccan oakmoss, sandalwood, patchouli, amber, benzoin, cedar, heliotrope, musk, Tonka bean and vanilla.

I think this is similar to the original Secret De Venus, not the current Secret De Venus. The original Secret De Venus has a tremendous following. The original perfume sells for 150.00 and up to 900.00 on Ebay.

BIG like Giorgios, perhaps bigger. The boldness was expected when it was released. Now it scares the fruity girls. It is one step away from a floral aldehyde. Generally orientals imply spice. There are none within. Lacking tobacco flower, I never picked up the cigar reference. Somehow its current incarnation doesnt "punch you" like it did in the 1980s. This is a good thing.

Im going to behave myself with this scent because in all fairness after the dry down occurs it is a nice powdery scent. I have to eat crow on this one because its really very nice in due time-I WAS TOTALLY WRONG WITH MY HARSH REVEIW. Very nice scent with time.
AFTER THOUGHT: I have to say that Bijan is the only perfume ive ever worn that gave me an allergic reaction! Never has a perfume gave me a headache the size of the Grand Canyon and sneezing and running nose! I love this fragrance but it HATES ME!

I think it could replace fendi that we can.t find anywhere.oriental with rose and vanilla.smells fantastic.

Smells like the 80's!

It is a typically strong, sweet, spicy, mid-weight, powdery, honeyed floral scent of its era....everything but the olfactory equivalent of the kitchen sink has been thrown in the mix. One thing's for sure: with sillage this powerful you would be wise to limit your spritzes...unless you are trying to mask the smell of your cigar, clenched between your ruby-red lips!

Brings out the inner b*tch .... you'd love to hate her, but you end up admiring her balls & spirit.

Bought it because it was on sale on an online purchase, now I can't even give it away. Over the top Carnation and plastic rose are very sharp and lend to a sneeze and congestion and I don't even have allergies. After you get through the top harshness, the base isn't bad, but not great.

I got this perfume this morning. Been wearing it for about 3 hours. I can already tell you that I love it! It will be one of my favorites. The drydown is gorgeous. Smells like sweet sugary honey, with a warm musk and vanilla. I didn't think it was too strong in the beginning but my body chemistry requires a nice strong perfume and orientals work the best on me. I adore this fragrance.When this bottle is gone I will be buying more.
