Jaipur Homme Fraicheur Boucheron for men

I was looking for this a long time since I find Jaïpur interesting but this is a complete letdown... couldn't stand it till it dried down to a boring vanilla 100 times smelled before scent... Sometimes second parts are simply unnecesary. Here the patchouli is just unbearable, horrid and so sinthetic... I will definitely try again regular Jaïpur to forget about this.

Not very interesting yet quite pleasant. The citrus-bergamot opening of the original version is here emphasized to give the "fraicheur" effect. Spices have been brutally smoothered to almost disappear. Lighter powdery drydown. Nice but unneeded.

Go for the original!

A few years ago,with the advent of mass communication,everybody was jumping on the bandwagon to produce fragrances. Unusual companies not related to the industry started to participate. Jewelers like Chopard, Boucheron, Tiffany; Makers of fine writing pens like Dupont and Mont Blanc,even cigarrette and cigar manufacturers like Dunhill and Davidoff were all spending lots of money getting good perfume makers to mix and distribute their brands. Not all succeeded but those who did have carved an important niche. Boucheron is one. The variety of their fragrances is not impressive but it has quality. Fraicheur pour homme is sweet almost feminine but it is fantastic and with more staying power on your skin than most edt´s.

I have this version and Fraicheur Epicee. Jaipur Homme Fraicheur to my nose still carries the powder accord, bot not as intense as in the ordinary Jaipur or Fraicheur Epicee. I'm a bit disappointed, i thought it would different than Fraicheur Epicee; well it's not really, with the exception that the spices have been muted. I'd recommend this as a summer evening fragrance; it might be off putting during the day.

It`s a good scent for a hot summer. Clean, sweet, bright fragrance, with spicy woody notes on top. It is powdery like the original, but Jaïpur Homme Fraicheur is a bit more subdued and won't lead to headaches! Got it for a birthday, and highly recommend it as an alternative to the original Jaïpur Homme. This is a very well done "fresh" version.
