Yum! Smells just like Trouble, but lighter and more citrusy. The summer version of Trouble, if there ever was one. Even though I own the original, I have to say I kind of want this one too. Why? I have no idea. Just having one would probably suffice!
What is the difference from 'legere' (lower) and 'edt' ?
There is another version of this that is perfect for use in the SUN! That version has also a gold glitter trail! JUST GORGEOUS!
It really does smell like a lighter, brighter version of Trouble! I really prefer the brightness of this fragrance, but the longevity is about one hour on my skin.
The bergamot seemed to persist through the heart of the fragrance, which I found quite lovely in combination with the amber. It reminded me of my favorite part of the original Trouble -- the lemony-floral top notes!
At the very end of the dry-down of Trouble Eau Legere, the vanilla emerged, but also also quickly became a little dusty on me. (This is a problem I sometimes have with vanilla notes.)
I will stick with Trouble, which is more demanding to wear, but has incredible lasting power for the days I am in the mood to wear it!
Does what it says on the tin: Trouble Light. One of the few legere versions to be true to its word.
If you like Trouble but find it too deep, dark & voluble then try this version.
It has an airiness (original devotees may say hollowness, perhaps due to the lotus) that gives you the space to breathe...the citrus lift heralds the entrance of the warm vanilla-amber, a thinner version than before but with the same candy appeal. There seems to be a race to the base notes, which is where TL sits happily, prettily, sweetly for some hours. Ah, sweet nothings.
When I compare them wrist-to-wrist the original wins hands (wrists) down for me. It is rich, daring, deep & unashamedly wicked - a bold beauty on a night out. A babe with balls. TL is like the soft, innocent trace of her left on the pillow when the make-up, attitude & drama-queen heels are removed. Underneath, the tigress is a kittenish pussycat.
Trouble eau Legere is Troubles baby sister. It skips right past Troubles strong citrus opening notes into a lighter version of the dry down. My first thought was "Trouble for Spring!"
If you put the two sisters together you would get the younger still in High School wearing pastel t's, faded jeans, soft pink eyeshadow and flirting with the boys. The older sister graduated two years ago, prefers dramatic black liquid eyeliner, heavy mascara, dark burgundy and black attire with high heels and "men only please."
My only problem is now I have to go buy Legere to go with my Trouble because it's "just different enough" to make it worth while.
I like the EDP but I prefer the lighter version. Actually the bottle I own is "trouble eau legere nacree", not listed here in fragrantica yet. It opens very lemony but it is still mysterious and elegant like the original one.
I could not appreciate it. Though it is pleasant and nice, and I definitely can imagine someone lose it`s head over it, it has some artificial notes that are not becoming at all.May be it is only my skin chemistry (does not make nice with water lily sometimes).
this lovely perfume reminds me (heresy!) of what the great Guerlain's Jardins de Bagatelle would smell like in one's imagination! (And I love JdB!)
It is beautifully cool and floral fixed with vanilla and amber I believe. Perfect for daytime wear and everyday use. Not enough sillage for eveningwear.
Love this!
