Fantasy Britney Spears for women

For some reason this perfume smells like fruity pebbles cereal..lol. I love it tho very girly and fruity scent :)

this is the fragrance I get the most compliments on! guys and girls love this scent! it has that typical cotton candy and sugary scent that most celebrities have in there fragrances but with small hints of fruit that mix all together perfectly(that thing that makes it stand out) it smells very sexy but casual at the same time

very very sweet. I could't wear it every day, but sometimes in winter i like it. After few minutes the sweetness become more comfotable, but have to be careful with the quantity. Less is more.

Yuck!! On me it DID smell like leather and fake strawberry syrup. GROSS and I love fruity perfumes boo I was so looking forward to this.

If i had one word to describe the smell i would say "Sweet"....not the sicking type,rather an attractive type.I really really love this perfume. Definitively worth a try...

I got this as a gift, and wasn't sure what to expect... I was never one to be into Britney Spears fragrances. I didn't spray it in front of the person who gave it to me; I was positive I would make a face that made it plain that it was awful, and hurt the feelings of the person who gave it to me.

I was right. As soon as it touched my skin, I was struck by the most awful smell! It was so strong, and alcohol-y, with way too much musk.

However, after about 10 minutes, I decided to smell my wrist again, and found it had changed dramatically. It was now an innocent yet seductive scent, that I found very captivating. It had some sugar, and a little bit of fruit. I also got so many compliments after I walked back into the room. I now love this perfume because it is a perfect mix of sweet and sexy.

To those of you who spray it and hate it: Wait a few minutes. Trust me, it's worth it. Adorable bottle, too! And lasts almost the whole day! An amazing gift.

I love this sooo much! It goes so well with everything, whether you're wearing that little black dress or just at home in your sweats, it just pulls the outfit together. It's sweet and spicy, but not too overwhelming plus the bottle is super cute.

I like it, though it doesn´t drive me crazy. Very sweet, though a sweetness I can stand. It reminds me of Escada Sunset Heat -I thinks it´s because of the fruity sweetness- whose sweetness I can´t stand, and besides, leaves a sour smell on my skin. However, Fantasy, doesn´t. Though it is gourmand and very sweet like Pink Sugar, I like Pink Sugar better, which, for me,is more sophisticaded. Fantasy lacks the liquorice note, which I like so much on gourmand perfumes. I like the drydown, better than the opening (so much fruit sweetness)I think this fragrance is better for cold weather, too sweet for spring/summer.

My final conclusion !!....it's not a tart ,not a cupcake scent either it's a freshly backed large cookie coming right out from the oven......explain more ? it's a crunchy sweet scent that MUST be among your cold winter wardrobe along with ur chic heavy coats and your favourite boots ..Briteny should have named it winter fantacy or christmas fantacy ......something kindda festive and sweet yet ONLY in cold weathers

This was an unfortunate blind buy for me. I'd read all the reviews that said this was a very gourmand, vanilla, cupcake scent. The reality is I get nothing edible from this fragrance, unless you count some kind of pink fruit syrup as edible. There's no white chocolate or lychee in evidence as I'd hoped there would be, just a generic bunch of fruit. If I had to describe the scent I would say it's more of an artificial strawberry kiwi scent with a generic smattering of other hot pink smelling fruits. the bottle here matches the juice inside; it's all very... pink. That's it. I get no vanilla, nothing else except a strange backdrop of orris root. Not very pleasant and certainly nothing I'd want to nibble on.

I was never too much into Britney's fragrances, Curious suffocated me, Believe choked me and Radiance strangled me to death...

...I came back to life only after smelling Fantasy. This fragrance smells like pink fruity chocolate to me. It doesn't sound very appealing, but it is. It surprised me by smelling almost "sensual"...

And "sensual" is something like kudos to Britney (seeing that most of her fragrances are dripping with sweetness). It smells very sweet, but with a warm, cupcake note.

Britney Spear's Fantasy won me over. However, it has a very mixed feeling about it. Some think it's an absolutely gorgeous vanilla and white chocolate cupcake, while others think it smells "nauseatingly suffocating". Couldn't have put it better myself IF I DIDN'T LIKE IT.

This pink star brought me back to life! I'm glad to have it in my collection.

This is what I wear on casual days, when I'm in jeans and a tank top but want something to make me feel pretty. I love the way it is just strong enough for me to notice if I toss my hair or wave an arm, but I don't find it overbearing. It is a gorgeous, ultra feminine fragrance. More girly than womanly. It is both tart and sweet, the base of it is a comfortable vanilla, not like Fancy or Pink Sugar. I get a woody smell as well, an almost vegetal note (the orris root?) and this is what makes it different. I didnt take Fantasy seriously for years because it is a celebrity perfume, but I truly believe that if Dior or Givenchy had put this out it would be three times as expensive and would have probably won an award. I love Fantasy.

this is my favorite perfume hands down !! it smells really good .. its a little bit strong vanilla kiwi whatever at first but then its turn into a very yummy caramel vanilla white chocolate deliciously blend together . its a man magnet too . awesome . i get so many compliment when I'm wearing this .

It smells like cotton candy, musk, and tea to me. It's also quite strong. My friend loves this, however, and it smells ok on her, and it's quite strong. Not for me.

This is my current favorite fragrance. It smells a bit strong at first spray but after a minute or two it mellows down to a sweet white chocolate scent. The scent is so divine! I can smell it on me until the next day.

The first overpowering note this perfume opened with was a muskiness. I didnt like the initial scent. After about 15 minutes, it starts to settle and there becomes a fruity vanilla sweetness to it. It would be more pleasant if the musk was toned down in my opinion. I dont detect the kiwi, but the red berry is very prominent. I purchased the gift set, and the body lotion however it didnt have the intial musk that the perfume does, the lotion was very much sweet berries, and reminds me exactly of charlie pink.
So.. to sum up my review, Fantasy is fun, fruity, and not to be taken seriously to anyone who is not a teenage girl. While i will enjoy wearing it in the meantime, the fragarance dosent offer anything new, or exciting to keep me interested and purchase it again.

So my partner brought me this for Christmas after unfortunatly he couldn't find any of my signature YSL Babydoll fragrance anywhere :( And i have to say i was pleasantly surprised...i thought it would be a cheap tacky 'celeb' fragrance and don;t get me wrong it's not exactly high end but it is actually really nice. The plus side is that it is very sweet and i do love my sweet perfumes. It also lasts for a good while! The negative is that i think it takes a good 10 minutes for it to get to it's best before that and it smells VERY strong and not a sweet strong. All in all i would deff recommened to people that favour sweet smelling perfumes :)

I like Midnight fantasy, Radiance, Belive, Cosmic radiance, curius and Circus fantasy. This hurt in my nose. It is soo strong. My friend wear it and it smeels okay on hear but i CANT spray it on my self.

Lovely, yummy and sweet fragrance. I love everything about this scent. I get berries, chocolate and vanilla notes. Excellent sillage, longevity and projection. It is already my signature scent. It was indeed love at first sniff!

I had a sample of this and absolutely loved it. It isn't exactly light and airy, but more of a stronger scent. It's a very lovely scent, and I used it every day and loved it.

I don't like this fragrance. I think maybe it's because it's too strong and sweet. It's so sweet it's a bit synthetic. It's not a soft fragrance. It's like cotton candy in a bottle, which for some people is just wonderful, but I don't like cotton candy.

I just bought a bottle this afternoon. I tested it on my skin, so divinely sweet and non cloying. I am male and I really love to smell this in a woman, why?
Simply because its projection is great, very attractive, so sexy, so charming and a scent that will surely make me close my eyes and enjoy smelling the air even if I cant get close to that wearer. Even if she will just pass by me. Its uplifting. This for me, should be, the female version of Paco Rabanne Ultrared. Why? Because they are both sweet, they have some resemblance from top and dry down but Fantasy is milder, lighter and indeed very feminine on its top and heart. Dry down can be unisex, vanilla chocolatey, but it will be hard for a man to wear it on its initial spray. he has to wear it with guts. But over all, Fantasy is fantastic! Women should own it, let the air carry its wonderful aroma, let men be captivated as how it did to me. I met a female friend later, she sprayed it on her skin and that confirmed my impression with Fantastic Fantasy which led me now to write.

I don't like Britney's fragrances, but this is nice, pleasent and original. Much, much better than Midnigt Fantasy. Like it very much, but not love it, beacause of its sweetness.I understand people who adore this perfume.

Picture this: Sweetened fruits dumped in Vanilla Ice Cream and drowned in strawberry syrup. Fantasy by Britney is definitely one of the cloying gourmand perfumes. It smells incredibly pink and girly and sweet and foody.

And I strangely like it. One of my guilty pleasures.

Even though I'm older now, (used to wear this when I was 21) I still love the smell. Cupcakes, vanilla, white chocolate...all beautiful sweet smells that just make me want to eat my wrist.

I sprayed a sample on to try it out and it was very sweet! The first things that come to mind are cotton candy and vanilla.

The scent is very fun and pleasant, but it's not really something I would buy. The smell is just too sweet for my liking.
The lasting power is very impressive. I sprayed the sample on my wrist, and about 8 hours later I can still faintly smell it.

It's a lovely perfume but i just think it's too young for me now, and i'm only 23. I used to wear it when i was 18, but it's really only suitable for teens i think, too cotton candy to be sophisticated.

This is remind me about my sweet chocolate candies in 4-6 years old, which really make me happy because my parents never forbid me to eat candies everyday. The memoirs that life is so beautiful and full of love is described by Fantasy to me. No problem.. no pain.. no tears.. Life is so sweet for child like I was. I love this Fantasy so much !!

I bought this blindly because this is a very popular fragrance and there are so many good reviews on the internet so i gave this a shot. I have no regret buying it. smells wonderful and so sweet. I never go to school without wearing it. everyone loves it, especially the boys

I admire the lingering power of this perfume, it is so strong I can smell someone is wearing it 5 minutes after they have already left the room which is usually a good thing with perfumes for me but as I cannot stand the smell of this perfume it isn't so good! I work with a few people that love this perfume, I always find it amazing that tastes can vary so much...

I want a perfume with the lingering power of this one or even Kenzo Flower that isn't either of those perfumes :P Any suggestions? Anyone? :)

I had this perfume and it smells great. It's very long lasting, something I love from a good perfume. It's sweet and floral. Recommend it. I want to try Midnight Fantasy.

I weas so happy when I bought this because I LOVE Britney Spears and all of her other perfumes. When I got it, I sprayed it on and was really disappointed. It stank. But after it settled for 10 minutes, it was a pleasant smell. I really like it but at the beggining it smells like junk. So if you try it, keep in mind you need to wait 10 minutes before you judge it!


And keep in mind, Britney was aiming at a younger audience here. Like people 12-17.

I really wanted to love this perfume, but at the end of the day it just smells average on me. The opening notes are quite offensive and take at least 30 minutes to settle down into something I can enjoy, which is a pretty mild, very sweet lingering scent with hints of berries. I think it smelled too young for me, even though I'm only 24. It's just not my thing. I prefer complex, warm scents like Jessica Simpson's Fancy line.

i've never smelled this...and the reviews are putting me off even more =/ anyway, the first time i saw this was on the cover of a perfume catalogue...and comparing it to all the other bottles it looked cheap, childish and out of place (sorry, judging a book by it's cover here). i was like "no way is that a well known brand" (the catalogue didnt mention any of the fragrances names). recently i was at a duty free store and spotted it under the britney spears section....my immediate reaction was "WTF?! why so cheap-looking???" yeah anyway...people are saying it smells like candy and waht-not....hmmm dosn't sound appealing to me...

I bought a $19.99 gift set at CVS today and I am SO happy with it! Came with a cute little shower gel and body cream duo. Fantasy was such a magical little surprise, I expected silvery crystals on the bottle but was happy to see it's decorated with lime green crystals which are even cuter.
So here's my little story about Fantasy.
It was actually the first EDP I ever wanted to buy, introduced to me around eight grade. I finally got it last fall and hated it :(. It's not the perfume's fault, it was just a bad time in my life. I had a job I completely hated that made my stomache knot up just by thinking about it. I was also fighting with my boyfriend like crazy and starting college at a different school (transferred). PLUS I had a crazy evil chemistry teacher. Terrible times. I had a lot of migraines and unfortunately I had fantasy and midnight fantasy in little .33 ounce sizes and threw them away because I swore they set off my migraines.
(I regret it now.)
So me and fantasy are happily reunited now :). How could I ever hate a smell that reeks of cotton candy, white chocolate, and kiwi? It's a mystery to me now :P
It's actually my favorite cotton candy themed scent now. Hey, we are seriously getting along this time!

Fantasy body souffle: Good moisturizing lotion. Initial plasticky smell goes away very quickly and leaves a scent that smells just like fantasy. I wish there were sparkles in it, but oh well.

Extremely sugary-sweet. Definitely in the gourmand category of scents - cupcakes with an overload of saccharine. It's a young, fun, girly fragrance - but on me, it just smells awful - my skin does not like the overly gourmand scents (eg. Angel & Princess)...they just turn sour on me!

I think this is a really great perfume. It is light and fruity, perfect for spring/summer.

I don't get a lot of fruit out of this one. I was hoping the lychee note would be stronger, but the very sweet white chocolate is too dominant. The floral comes in later, but it too is overwhelmed. If you love sweet candy scents, white chocolate in particular, you'll love this. It smells delicious but is too sweet for me.

It’s as simple as this for me, once all the mixed sweet notes settle down it becomes all about the white chocolate and I love it!

At first I was repulsed by Fantasy and it brought Pink Sugar to my mind, it was too sweet for my taste. After some time I tried it again - it's great for cold days, thick, sweet and gourmand, but Pink Sugar has gone a bit ;) because it was unbearably sweet and this one is less sweet, perhaps the reason is white chocolate instead of sugar, making the fragrance nicer and more bearable. An optimistic, girly scent and although I'm not a girl anymore, I'll be wearing it from time to time because it's cosy and warm and happy. White chocolate, orchid are the most prominent notes on me. Fantasy may be naive, a bit childish... but I can't help liking it, I like gourmands from time to time. And this one is extremely sweet only in the beginning, it becomes less sweet afterwards (still very sweet).

I really can't understand how everyone finds this really sweet. When first sprayed it is a sharp vanilla cake smell. On me when it settles it becomes a very smooth slightly cakey smell almost like princess by Vera Wang. I was scared to use this because everyone was saying it is so sweet but I find it to be one of the most quiet comforting smells around. It lasts all day and costs next to nothing and the bottle is very cute. I wish it were really strong because I prefer my perfumes strong but for me it is just mildly there.

This is a sweet but strong fragrance. there is something spicy to the smell. Reminds me of Curve Crush by Liz Claiborne

Some may smell raspberries, some may smell pure sugar, some may smell some synthetic, vague fruit smell. Each nose is different.

This scent is extremely sweet; I enjoy a whiff of it now and then (such as smelling at the store or on a person in passing), but I could not see myself wearing this for an extended period of time. I also do not see this as an every day scent to work or school but for going-out. I do give the perfume props for its lasting power compared to other sweet fragrances.

This is an alright sent, nothing offensive but nothing exciting either.

I use this for work, lets be real I'm not going to use my best perfume for a customer service retail job.

I only wish the top note lasted longer.

Pink sugar is well... just pink sugary smelling! Like cotton candy, it smells a bit harsh and loud. Still love it :)
But Fantasy is more rounded, warm, and sensual IMHO. It's much more prettier than Pink Sugar :) Fantasy is more white chocolatey than cotton candy.

The best scent ever!!!!

This is really tasty stuff :D It literally smells like someone just poured melted white chocolate onto a bowl of cut fruits (namely tangy kiwi and sweet litchi, both detectable to my nose). At first, the fruit notes are strong and tangy, but soon smooth white chocolate shows up and tones it down a notch. The scent stays quite linear on me after that, but gets softer, a little more powdery and cake-like as it approaches the dry-down (my favorite part). It is inexpensive, lasts forever (okay, around 8 hours to be exact) and projects very well with 4-6 sprays. Fantasy is wearable in all seasons except the dog days of summer. A fantastic scent, very casual, pretty, super yummy, and one of the best of its kind. I couldn't resist getting myself the biggest bottle available. It costed me USD$40 for a 3.4oz bottle boxed gift set that includes large tubes of matching lotion and showergel. Extremely pleased with my purchase.
PS. I do see a difference in terms of longevity when I layer the perfume and spray it on moist, lotion-ed skin. In comparison, it lasts only 3-4 hours on me when sprayed on dry skin. Maybe those with perfume-eating skin can try getting a similar scented lotion, even a cheap vanilla-scented one from the drugstore will work.

I used to really like this perfume. It was sweet, reasonably priced and lasted a long time but now I find it too sugary and overpowering. I spritzed a little on recently and I felt like I had rolled about in a candy shop! Lol. The other thing that has put me off this perfume, is that so many women in my workplace wear it. Overall, Fantasy is a decent perfume for women that like very strong, sweety smells.

I just turned 27, and I've had this scent for a year now. It's not my favorite, but I really like it. It's perfect as a jeans/t-shirt scent or even for a casual date, basically wearable anywhere besides work, the gym, and occasions that require dressing up. You will get a ton of compliments, especially from men, this one just reels them in for some reason lol. Unlike Pink Sugar, this one is not as vulgar as PS can be (mind you, I like PS too), so it's much more wearable. It's an adorable scent overall, a very delicious kiwi-white chocolate scent, it smells more like cake than candy; Fruity-tart and milky-sweet with a creamy texture. Makes you feel cozy and yummy, and it does make me hungry smelling it. My mom is in her 50's even she drooled over it when she smelled it on me, and immediately bought her own bottle. Lasting power? Excellent, minimum 8 hours on me. Sillage? Perfect. Price? Very budget friendly, and makes this one a winner. Best worn in spring, but don't be afraid to wear this in summer, just spray lightly. I personally find the tart and sour kiwi note in the scent sickening in colder months, it's not warm enough for winter (just fyi, Jessica Simpson's Fancy is my favorite fall/winter gourmand, it's warmer than Fantasy without fruity/sour notes).

Btw, for those who are afraid of ending up smelling like a bimbo wearing this scent (or other scents of this nature)...honey, let me tell you, if you are a bimbo, you'll smell like one no matter what you wear. If you're not, you'll just smell delicious, period, so wear what smells good to you, and stop worrying about what people will think.

I really didn't like this. My little sister bought it for me as a Christmas present and I rarely wore it. I found it far to sweet for my taste. my mum and sister on the other hand love it and have adopted my bottle. This is definitely try in the shop before you buy it.

I was very skeptical about this fragrance but heard that if I wanted a readily available, and awesome gourmand, then fantasy would be my go to girl! And all the stories were right. When I spray this on myself I don't smell any of the fruity notes, all I get is delicious white chocolate cupcake. It isn't a super strong smell, but I'm sure if your not used to sweet it could easily be overpowering. For me its just right, sweet, but not sickening, and easy to wear on a regular basis. The dry down is one of my favorite parts, it does get musky, but that white chocolate just doesn't stop and comes through up until the very last moments of this perfumes life. I spray this on before I leave for work at 7 in the morning and can still smell it by the end of the day around 4 and by 5 its just about finished. It really is a yummy, perfect scent in my opinion!

This is definitely a girly fragrance not for night wear. It opens with strong litchi and kiwi. On my skin it then immediately dries down to the wood notes and orris root. Nice but not great.

if this was not a celebrity fragrance i think that this would be loved by many others than a younger public. if this fragrance would come in a more serious bottle with another name on it i think that this already would be a classic!

I swore I would NEVER try out a celeb fragrance, but this was in the throw-out bin at the local chemist, so I swallowed my pride and tried it. Now I know why it was in the throw-out bin (should have been the throw-up bin). I know you Britney fans are not going to like this but it the sweetest, cheapest, nastiest perfume I have ever tried. Unfortunately it lasted a few hours, so it gets one point for tenacity. Even for a girl's first perfume, they would do better with a nice inexpensive plain floral than getting all het up over wearing a BRITNEY perfume. If this is her best, as many reviewers think, I will never again be tempted to try any of her others. 1/10 for the fact it lasted eight hours.

Very sweet, SO sweet, sweeter than anything I've ever had, it's so sugary, I want to put it on my ice cream and eat it! But really, I do like the scent a lot, reminds of caramel or chocolate. Good job for a celebrity fragrance :)

This fragrance was my high school perfume and I still love this scent to death! It's a sweet perfume that everytime I wore it I got compliments from men and women. It lasts a long time on my skin. I would put this after shower in the morning and the next day when I would shower again I'd still could smell it.

From hate to love..
I remeber I used to hate this one with passion. It seemed too sickeningly sweet and there was some darker note that used to bother me (I guess it was orris root)
So my hate for it continued for several years until I sprayed it on a paper blotter in the shop ( for a repeptetive time to make sure I still hated it) and put it in a pocket of my coat, only later when I was sniffing the strips at home I thougt, omg what is this wonderful scent (?) and I was horrified to find out it was actually fantasy. I couldn't believe it, I had to test it again to be completely sure, and then I understood that I got hooked up and craved for it badly until few months later I got myself the biggest bottle with a huge discount.
I know many people hate it, for being THAT sweet and also for being a celebrity perfume.
Oh come on people! This is modern clasic, It's beautiful, long lasting and truly unique, It wouldn't be so popular if it wasn't.
I hate when some snobs start b****ing about hating celebrity fumes about how bad taste they are. Well newsflash, I'm sure that this particular fume will be loved and remebered by future grannies as guerlains and chanels are loved by more mature women now.
It is what I love in perfumery, I love to explore, I love the clasics and I love some modern ones too, no matter how synthetic or completely not sereous they might be perceived by snobbery people.

I LOVE this perfume! I hate florals and this perfume is the furthest from florals you can get. It's purely sweet like candy all the way. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of cotton candy.Not too sweet...doesn't give a headhache in my opinion or anything like that. Long staying power too. I actually asked for this perfume for christmas and my friend liked it so much she bought one for herself when she picked up mine!

I'm not sure if I'm sold on Fantasy yet. I think it mainly has to do with the lasting power because the scent itself is nice enough. The opening has sour, tart fruits that are crisp, mouthwatering and bubbly. It eventually floats along slowly on a white cloud of fluffy chocolate and woods... I like this part the best. But here I am and it's only 3pm and I can hardly smell it. I sprayed this morning before work, and with a heavy hand too. I will try again tomorrow.

Men love this, and I used to, too, but it's too sweet (and I looove sweet!) it gives me a headache.

The secret of this perfume is that it smells absolutely different on skin and on clothes...Simple sweet sugar on my skin and rich litchi chocolate on the clothes...

This just arrived in our drugstores. To me it's a Pink Sugar kind of scent. It's not bad but it's simply not for me. I can see young girls enjoying this. I wouldn't want to test it on my skin even. It's like a "carnival of scent" - very colored, very sweet-tasty, very candy :)

This scent was SOOO darn popular a few years back...I can recall smelling it everywhere (on ladies, men, animals, etc) so I purchased a small bottle in the fall of 2008. I am such a fan of sweet, sensual, warm, gourmandy (and floriental) scents that are feminine and girly!

However, I used it here and there but Fantasy and I never clicked until about 2 weeks ago and BAM...I am NOW loving this scent in the fall of 2011! I find it to be a wonderful fragrance....it is not that expensive, love the bottle (cute and pink and I have never had any leakage), and it lasts all day on my skin (a work day so about 9 hours).

At first spritz, I get tart-n-tangy fruitylicious kiwi and litchi and then seconds later....I am bombarded with creamy white nestle chocolate...yummy...it is sweet but not overly and annoyingly so...this white cocoa element gives me a sense of warmth and calm (especially as I sit in my office listening to Sade)...and then the drydown is all musky and woodied up and that - to me - is where the sensuality of the scent emerges (as the white cocoa lingers on and on!)

I used to be turned off by the woody quality in this perfume because back in the day, I found myself smelling like an old rotted tree with moss and fungus growing on it (and it was NOT a good look/feel) so I held onto Fantasy but rarely used it but thank God for time, change, persistence, and new perspective because now - for whatever reason - I find Fantasy to be the the BOMB DIGGETY!! Ladies -- never give up on a scent because things can and always do CHANGE!

Within the past 2 weeks I have worn Fantasy on 5 days and I have received SEVERAL compliments from men, women, and even my college students (I work at a university) and most importantly, I LOVE the way this perfume smells and Fantasy makes ME feel like a sexy, sweet, tender, and empowered woman...and I am 32 years young! Holla :)

I think this fragrance is for ANY woman/girl who enjoys the finer perfumes in life and can appreciate the SWEETNESS in life. She is beautiful, feminine, fun-loving, and confident! Personally, I think you can wear this anytime of year (day or night) depending upon your personal style and preference BUT I am realizing that it is perfect for fall in the daytime. At night, I tend to go for more sweet and spicy to hit 'em with that UMPH!

I don't smell dessert things in this one, or any fruity notes... But I can definitely tell it had white chocolate once I saw that on the list of notes. To me it's my casual fall scent. It's not long-lasting or super-expensive, but it's just a "car-ride-with-friends" type of scent. It's nice, though, I do enjoy it. If it was made into an EDP I'm sure it would be very popular, because it's very unique and has a lot of fans.

I wanted to buy some kind gourmand fragrance, something for cold days. I never buy a celebrities perfumes because they smell so cheap but something told me to buy Fantasy and I´m glad of it. It´s sweet fragrance so if you don´t like to smell like white chocolate don´t buy it. My husbans told it reminds him a smell of vanilla pudding. Fantasy is quite strong and long lasting on my skin. Bottle is littlebit cheap but it´s also nice. I feel sexy when I do wear this smell.

This fragrance starts fruity, as in juicy fruity :) then settles into a candyfloss type scent, the base note is vanilla... i love this fragrance - and it lasts for ages! very sweet and girly :3

This is the only Britney fragrance I like. My cousin (who is in her late 30's) was wearing it and it smelled so yummy that I had to ask her what it was- I couldn't believe it was Britney Spears Fantasy! This perfume is so sweet and girly but to me it's more "naughty school girl" than "lollipops and butterflies". I feel very flirty when I wear it, like I should twirl my hair around my finger and bat my eyelashes at every boy I see. I know that some people would never dream of wearing a Britney fragrance but I'm not a perfume snob- if I like it, I like it. It can be cloying sometimes so I only spray a little at a time so I don't suffocate. This isn't my favorite fragrance (I'm liking gourmands less and less as I get older) but it's definitely one I like to wear in the winter sometimes to warm me up and make me feel cute and girly instead of feeling like a snow-beast because of the huge bulky jacket, hat, and scarf I'm wearing.

UPDATE: I layered this over BBW Brown Sugar & Fig body lotion today and it smelled delicious! I think the sweetness of the lotion helped balance out the orchid notes in the perfume, which is a note I really hate when it's overpowering. Yummy!

this is da bez gourmand ever made...totally yummy scent..all i get from this is the cupcake accord with slightly hints of the sweetness kiwi and the white chocolate...no other perfumes can beat this MASTERPIECE yet..me myself already wear this i think almost 9 bottles since 2007..the lasting power is superb , it will last on my skin at least 6 hour or above..i like to wear this charm in the night because in my place we do get summer 24/7..such a lovely fragrances,then i hope fantasy will be in the market forever cause if their discontinued this one i dunno what happen to me..

If you love super sweet perfumes, like Pink Sugar, you will love this fragrance. I love it! It's so sweet, but not overpowering. This is my go-to fragrance. Whenever I don't know what to wear, I put on Fantasy. I get so many compliments when wearing it too! It has been referred to as "killer perfume" in a good way.

This scent reminded me of school! when it first came out all the popular girls in my year would drench themselves in this then come sit near me in class, i suffered with migranes and that seriously did not help! so for years i hated it, then slowly i started to like it and saw a cheap bottle summer 2010 and bought it, sitting in a field me and my friend unwrapped it and put it on feeling all summery so now it's my 2010 summer perfume! then it got ignored during winter and on the first day of 2011 summer i put it on and rushed outside to an appointment, in the waiting area i felt so nauseous, realising it was my perfume it clicked. It reminds me of last summer when i was with an ex who LOVED fantasy, it reminded me of being in his bedroom and being miserable. Bleh. COmpletly ruined it. It was a little sweet for me anyway (she said bitterly :( )

I smell sweet white chocolate mixed with musk, and a peppery/sharp scent. The vanilla/creamy/musky scent is cozy and warm. It's casual and sweet. It last hours on me. I'm gourmand lover and this definitely has a place in my fragrance collection.

I love the fantasy bottles, they are whimsical, they look like fancy childlike magic postion bottles, hehe ^-^

As a cotton candy addict, I love this scent! Very sweet/warm/flirty. It goes on a bit strong at first, then fades to a nice, soft scent for hours.

When I put this on, it smells mostly like white chocolate. Delicious enough to nom on! I absolutely love it.

I am going to say something weird here but I think this is a fresh gourmand not thick and heavy like Jessica Simpsons perfumes. I like those but they are very thick and syrupy. This one I expected to be the same but there is a fresh element to it. Even after it has been on the skin for a while it never smells stale or too dark. I like it and find it lasts well and is available everywhere pretty much. The midnight Fantasy has a soapy smell to me which I like. I have just finished a huge bottle of Circus Fantasy which is great for summer or any weather. I really like these fantasy perfumes. I never used to. I would always bypass them but I have given them a chance and I am glad I did. I wish she would have the little sets with the 4 of them in the set but she always puts Believe or Curious in it an misses out one of the fantasy's. I don't want those two if you don't like those two it is very annoying I just want the fantasy range. That way you could sample all of them or have a different one for each day and they fit in your bag so much easier.

@Andrea09 I'd go for Fantasy if you like super sweet fruity cupcake like perfumes(my personal favorite). Or Midnight Fantasy if you like sweet/sour berry like scents:)

This happens to get really good reviews. I wish I knew where i could sample it. Who originally carried this product out? If I can't get a comment then It's reasonablly priced. for 3.4oz its 20.00. I would rather try th Midnight one because i think it would go better for back to school fall/winter, but they dont carry that 1 at the store i want to go.

I like this perfume but it was a little to spicy for me,not saying that i would give it a try though.

This is my ultimate "going out" fragrance or my "girls night out" scent. I love it, its dramatic, its sweet, its sexy, its noticeable, its loud, its young and very confident- very out there kind of smell. Hope this gives you a good idea ;)

I tried this out today, and I can't believe how much I regret not buying it there and then! I can really see myself using it for a long time as it has a lovely scent to it, and the packaging is something that does appeal to me; its very nice and simple. Who knew Britney Spears could do great perfume?

I absolutely hate this stuff. It's like the devil incarnate in a perfume. So woman in work sprays herself with it a couple of times a day, and it's that sickly sweet it makes me vomit on a regular basis, disgusting.

I liked this one at one point when I liked really sweet smells in my teens but alas I grew out of that phase. I smell it on other people alllll the time. Little too popular on the teenagers.

I expected that Fantasy will be a sweet fragrance I was just afraid that it will be that extremaly sweet like those killer by K. Minogue ( I hate them!!) but no. Fantasy is really nice, sweet fragrance for teens and young women. I smell really intensivly white chocolate.

This is my second favorite Britney perfume (after Midnight Fantasy), and it's mainly its lesser longevity that consigns it to the runner-up spot, rather than just the actual scent.

It opens with a burst of kiwi and lychee which is a stunningly refreshing opening, and provides a nice contrast with the very sweet heart and musky dry down.

The chocolate comes through shortly after spraying, giving it a baked goods scent, and I love the gourmand element to it. Jasmine is also prominent on my skin, and as a fan of jasmine, I'm pleased about that.

It dries down to a woody musk... still sweet and edible though!

This is a very sweet fragrance, but I still don't find it cloying. And all the Fantasy perfumes are sweet anyway. If you don't like sweet scents, then this isn't for you.

Fantasy's lasting power wasn't as good as Midnight Fantasy on me, but still better than Circus or Hidden.

I recommend this perfume to anyone in their teens or twenties who enjoys a quality gourmand scent.

@caydesugar, I think this is best suited to winter day wear as the poll suggests. It is a sweet, lasting vanilla scent. Definitely too strong for summer.
If you like Britney scents, maybe go for Radiance for summer wear. Midnight Fantasy can be worn during summer nights.

I find this perfume so cloying and sweet it makes me want to gag. There is absolutely no sophistication, just overwhelming sweetness, like cotton candy, that never goes away. It would smell ridiculous and childish on anyone over about 14.

This is one of the best perfume from Britney Spears. The scent is absolutely gorgeous. It's like melting candies or lollipops. The lasting power is SUPER great on me. It's like more than 10 hours! I absolutely impressed with this one. If you like sweet scent perfume, you should try this one without thinking!

This is a wonderful sweet gourmand fragrance, when I first tried this I was spelled, it smells like Vanilla TrayBake with butter cream frosting, so sweet and yummy, however over the years I have started to find this way too sweet and a little childish because everywhere I go I can smell it, it's so popular and I have started to feel sick each time I inhale it, maybe it's cause I used 2 bottles in a row? I don't know, either way I will not be using this anytime soon, might wait for good few years.

Can cupcakes and chocolate ever be a bad thing? I admit I was a little wary of trying FANTASY - I suffer from migraines so can't wear many sweeter fragrances. However; I'm pleased to say that's not the case with FANTASY.


FANTASY opens with fruity scents of lychee, quince and kiwi. Sweet, but not sickly sweet. The fruit isn't as overpowering in it's sweetness as FANTASY's flanker Midnight Fantasy, so if you don't like that it's still worth testing this.

The key note of vanilla cupcake lingers from the heart to the base, giving FANTASY a lovely warmth that whispers "come closer" to passers by - making this perfect for people who work in public based settings as you'll seem even more approachable.
Of cause; FANTASY is also superb for when you're feeling flirty ;)


The fact that this is in a pink, diamonte studded bottle and has the name Britney Spears attached makes this seem like just another 'tween' release, but I think women of any age can wear this.


In fact, I think FANTASY is a modern classic in the making xx

this is a very sweet, girly perfume. as long as i understand it's for teenage girls.. it's a very cuddly, warming aroma for the fall and winter.I bought a 3.4 oz for 25 dollars which is a pretty good value. the bottom line: a fragrance for girls (well, or women) who like sweet/spicy fragrances.

I have just purchased a new bottle of perfume after a long perioud of pause (about 3 years ). I have noticed that meanwhile the package has changed and a little bit the smell of perfume also . It has -under the sweetness- a hint of sour notes that were not common for Fantasy before (when first released).Still it is a good fragrance , bakery smell , round and sweet .

A fantastic mix of sweet Kiwi, Red Litchi,and White Chocolate. Is what I get from the first spray.
When the sweetness has gone I get a lovely strong Musk base note, which lasts on my skin for around 4-5 hours.

For some reason this perfume smells a bit grassy to me. Like it has undertones of that smell right after grass is cut. Maybe its just the way my nose picks up the mixture of the chocolate with the fruits. But i've never heard anyone complain about it. This one definately last all day and I like it. I just have too many other perfumes and also a 3.4 oz of this...so i haven't made much of a dent in it in the past five years

Decided to give this another try. Surprisingly, it isn't as bad as when I first sniffed it. However, it smells EXACTLY like a concoction I once made by mixing a few drops of each of the gourmand scents in my current perfume collection. How weird! I didn't have to spend the extra money but did anyway. Silly me. My sister thinks it smells yummy, though. I might give it to her if I don't use it often. :p

I wanted to love this but i just cant. Its sooo super ultra sweeet and sickening for me. I prefer fruity/citrusy sweet than the foody/dessert kind of sweet that this perfume is. The red litchi so goddamn intensive as a top note and for the drydown white chocolate is all i smell on me. I just hated it so i gave it to my cousin who loves it. Its interesting how something i cannot bear to wear is someone else's favourite. In this case thats a good thing.Im ok with smelling it on people, just not on myself coz i dont like cloying sweet stuff, especially in the summer heat that my area is always in.

This was an impulse buy a few years ago. I was walking past the display and smelled something beautiful. Had to get it. When I first wore it, it was overwhelmingly sweet. For someone who up to that point had only worn florals, it was a hard transition to make. I put it away for a few years.

My perfume wardrobe has now expanded past your basic white floral (not too much, though. I love my white florals!) I figured I'd give this a try again. I like it. It IS sweet but, if applied sparingly, not overwhelming. Is it going to go into my regular perfume rotation? Probably not. But when I have a sweet tooth? I'll definitely pull this out.

I only have two other "sweet" perfumes, Jennifer Lopez Live and Coty Vanilla Musk. I'll probably wear this more than Live but less than Vanilla Musk.

Edited again: I couldn't stop myself from trying it again. I now know to spritz it ONLY on my wrists. Otherwise, I'll get overwhelmed. But it really is pretty in cold weather.

very fruity and candy sweet with an edge. must be the wood or musk notes and possibly the kiwi that makes it a bit strange with the white chocolate scent. i like it, but don't love it. it's wearable. my favorite from britney spears is still "believe". i would give this one a 6 out of 10.

Someone gave it to my sister as a gift. She hated it so much that she almost threw it away. Luckily, she didn't do it and now my 2 little girls (aged 8 and almost 10) are the happiest owners of the perfume. They LOVE it. I would not wear it myself, but for the girls I find it very cute. The smell is very strong and after a while may become annoying. I like sweet smells and sweet things, but this was a little too much for a "grown-up" to wear. Britney obviously did not market it for a "mom" demographic, therefore it is a hit for her but miss for me.

After owning it for a while now and using it almost daily, this isn't really as sweet as I had initially thought it was. Everyday I'm getting more and more of the sour kiwi from this scent and less and less of vanilla, so it is indeed fruity, sour and sweet albeit with a white chocolate creaminess in the background...however KIWI is still the dominant note on my skin on most days. I do like it, it's a nice everyday scent with phenomenal longevity (8 hours ++ on skin!) and a pleasant sillage (big, but not monstrous). It also stays fairly linear (ie. 'mutant kiwi coated in white chocolate'), so good for those who hate surprises. I loved it the first couple times I wore it, it seemed sweeter to me then, very white-chocolate, then the novelty wore off, and now I find it kind of boring..... People around me actually love it on me more than I do on myself, so this is definitely a crowd pleaser, and the number one man magnet in my closet.

How much of a man magnet is it, you ask? The first day I wore it, a whole 'herd' of men at my office (around 6 of them, from 20-somethings to 40-somethings) came up to tell me I smelled so good and the married ones among them demanded to know the name of my fragrance so they can get it for their wives, before that they told a female co-worker and friend of mine that my perfume was 'incredible'... sadly this has never happened with ANY other scent I've worn. Ugh, I just REALLY wish the KIWI in this one would just tone itself down so I can get more of the white chocolate and vanilla!! However it's perfect in every other aspect (longevity, sillage, compliments-getter, man-magnet, inexpensive). Some days I tire of it, and there are days that I crave it, but I will be using up my bottle for sure, it is fun and very easy to wear. And I must add that the bottle is just adorable!

And btw, after wearing this for a while, I have decided that it is very different from Pink Sugar! Difference:- Pink Sugar:: burnt sugar, sugary, bitter-sweet, warm/hot, cotton candy, licorice...strong, sharp, 'smoky' sweetness. Fantasy:: sour-sweet, lots and lots of kiwi jam/jelly smeared over a vanilla/white chocolate spongecake...strong, cloudy, 'fluffy', sour-sweetness.

I think Pink Sugar would make a better cold weather scent, and Fantasy a better Spring/Summer scent. I like both equally, but I think overall Fantasy is easier to wear than Pink Sugar, no matter what your age. I am a 26 year old career woman, and I would wear any candy-sweet scent in the world if it could bring me any amount of joy in my life. So no, not just for teens, and not just for stereotypical intellectually-challenged, 20-something bottle-blondes!

I dont even know why i chose this. when i first brought it liked it, now its just plain boring sweet smell. its not sexy or hot its cute & girly for young teens. and its not my type. britney spears curious smells better then this.

I received this as a gift from a friend a few years ago, when I was around 12 or 13. Fantasy is a lovely perfume on young girls -- it's completely sugary-sweet and innocent. It reminds me of the Juicy Bear perfume that was popular when I was younger, which smelled like cotton candy and gummy bears. Delicious! However, I'm not sure how I'd feel about either perfume on someone older than 18.

Anyway, Fantasy is a very juicy, hyperfeminine scent that has great sillage/longevity. I wouldn't necessarily call it loud, but it certainly can project itself. I can easily smell a dab of this on people from several feet away, so a small bottle of this will last a LONG time.

While I'm not a huge fan of this perfume -- it's just a little too cloying for me -- I especially like the white chocolate, red lychee and kiwi notes of Fantasy. I'd love to see how they would fare in a slightly darker perfume; possibly one with some star anise and oakmoss.

Wow, chocolate, chocolate and OH dont let me forget more chocolate. Very, very sweet and extremely long lasting for me. Love the bottle design but the scent just goes way over the top for me.

I bought this perfume after one of my friends had it. I like the beginning of the scent once I spray it, it smells soft-fruity-floral. As it wears off it becomes a headache. I smell the white chocolate and too much sweetness after awhile and it smells cheap. The bottle and package are cute.

Way to sweet for me as well; over all, very fruity. I don't feel comfortable with this kind of fragrances at all. They have at best a headache inducing and at worst a panic attack triggering effect on me. Plus, I don't like to smell like a fruit.

I like this...it's very, very sweet and gourmand, so if you're not into those type of scents you won't be a fan. I find it very similar to Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensual. Personally I prefer PS Sensual, as I find it lasts better on my skin and smells a bit richer.

Way too sweet for me. It was a gift from a boyfriend I had, and I wore it when I was going to meet him. My roommate had it too. It's not my style. It's way too sweet. The good thing I found out about this perfume is that it lingers on your skin all day and that's a plus for me.

So the other day I was just sitting in the pews at church and this beautiful tanned woman sits in front of me with her two teenaged daughters and I smell this... Just deliciously sweet and sugary scent and I leaned over to my friend next to me and told her I smelled something realllllyyy good... Now, mind you, I have smelled Fantasy before and I hated it, I even wrote a review on here critizising it and how it's too sweet for me. Once I realized the scent the women in front of me were wearing was this one, I immediately ate my words and flew back onto the computer to completely edit my review.
I really, really like fantasy now, I want to body lotion maybe a tad more than the actual perfume.

I tried this from a tester at Target on Saturday. On first spray, it reminded me of a stronger, sweeter version of Wrapped With Love. I definitely smelled raspberry and white chocolate. Within an hour, the two scents had diverged from each other—Wrapped With Love stays as pure raspberry and VERY subtle chocolate from spray to drydown, and Fantasy evolves.

On me, Fantasy evolved into that sort of white cream cheese frosting that is used on carrot cake. It smelled its best at around hour 2-3, then kind of quit after that third hour. It became sort of a tired, toasted sugar smell after that, lingering like that on my wrist for the rest of the day, night, and even through a shower into the next morning. I don’t think anyone could have smelled it on me that long—I was up to smelling my wrist at that point.

I really prefer Wrapped With Love for all-day wear, so I won’t buy Fantasy, but if it had stayed at its 2-3 hour peak for the rest of the day, I would buy it. It is a very comforting scent at its peak.

Es muy intenso y dura tantísimo en la piel que me cansa, me agobia, me ahoga, me asfixia, me da dolor de cabeza y nauseas! I've had Pink Sugar for a while now and when I first tried Fantasy, this was what came to mind: They sure are similar...However, Fantasy is much less 'in-your-face' compared to Pink Sugar and Fantasy does not have that persistent 'burnt' note found in Pink Sugar. Both have dominant cotton candy notes (eventhough it's not listed here)...BUT: BS Fantasy is not merely a less intense version of Pink Sugar (I don't care which scent actually came first, I had PS before Fantasy), Fantasy has a dreamy fluffiness about it that really is reminiscent of the soft textures and sweet flavors of cotton candy, whipped vanilla cream and silky smooth white chocolate. I also detect a very distinct and lingering, tangy/sour kiwi note, stopping the scent from turning sickly sweet. The yummy gourmand notes are sauntering gracefully on a soft carpet of musk and flower petals, while litchi syrup very lightly drizzles down over them like gentle rain...the overall vibe of this scent is oh-so-pretty, charming, enchanting, and so very, very edible.

On the other hand, Pink sugar is melting, sticky cotton candy on hot, hot asphalt (I don't necessarily mean this in a bad way, just telling you that PS is a cotton candy Barbie girl with an attitude lol), bold, warm, loud and unapologetically so.

I do like both but honestly prefer Fantasy, as it is more versatile and can be worn in warmer weather whereas Pink Sugar is great as a cooler weather scent due to its potency. Fantasy has decent longevity (around 6 hours) and pretty good sillage...but I'll admit that Pink Sugar is champion when it comes to longevity, lasting atleast 12 hours on my skin, and will enter a room before you do if not applied with a light hand.

A perfume I used as a teenager. I never really loved it, but I thought it was nice. In my hometown Oslo it seems like every teenager girls uses this perfume, so this scent quickly becomes boring. I really liked this some years ago, but now it's too sweet, sugary and candy-like on me. It reminds me very much of fruity chewing gum. I find it way too sweet and strong. It's very, very girly. Still, my mum pulls it off. And it does stay on your skin for a long time.

This is very girly! I use this scent when I am feeling particularly feminine and, well... pink! When I first smelled it I kind of thought of a luscious potpourri almost; and, as it is a gourmand, it made my mouth water a bit. Although it doesn't smell like melon, the scent does remind me of melon. The dry-down does have a kind of vanilla-y scent, although I'm not really picking up on the cupcake accord. This scent isn't exactly mature, but it's not 13 or 15 years old either. The lasting power is pretty good. I only bought the small roller-ball fragrance, so I would consider repurchasing it. A lot of reviewers say that their boyfriends like it, although mine is impartial to this fragrance.

Overall, the scent reminds me of eating melon at a hot/warm summer dusk. However, this would be good for summer nights or a winter high-school or college formal dance.

Avon tiene una copia de este perfume que solo cuesta 130 pesos mexicanos, como 10 dólares americanos!! se llama Secret Fantasy y hasta la botella es rosa. Huele a lo mismo!! tal vez un poco mas tenue despues de 2 horas pero mas obvia la copia no puede ser (aunque digan que no comparten las mismas notas) y la botella es muy bonita.
ayer puse mi comentario en ese perfume y rápido me respondieron que si se parecia, aparte de que hay reviews de youtube en donde opinan igual.

No estoy de acuerdo con los plagios, pero la verdad es que es una alternativa super barata por si andan bajas de presupuesto y con ganas de comprarse un perfume bonito. Espero les sirva mi consejito, Asi es que búsquenlo es de Avon!!!

I am very over this perfume. I liked it for about a year then it was being used by every girl in my school, well almost. After a year of smelling it, it soon started smelling... artificial i guess, it just smells fake i used to love it now i despise it but if your a first time user of this particular perfume and your looking for something fun and girly then go ahead.

I just love it. I'm not identified at all with this girl, but definitely Elizabeth Arden has made a good work on her parfums. I would say this is one the master pieces of BS.

Love this scent, it's so distinct and last all night! It's a sweet scent and very fun! I like to wear it mainly at night because it's soo distinct and it really pops.

Love this scent,it is one of my favourites.Yes its comforting smooth and delicious without being too sweet.There is a touch of kiwi fruit in between the white chocolate so it balances it out nicely.A great fragrance to lift your mood and feel comforted like a soft velvety warm blanket on a cold winter's night.

i got this as a gift last year and had to rebuy! it smells so sweet and scrumptios. Im sixteen and i love the way it smells and get compliments often. Unfortuantly my mother hates sweet vanilla chocklaty scents so i cant wear it that often around her. I would say this is definatly a winter fragrance!wearing it in summer to me just doesnt feel right.

I thought I'd like it, but today I smelled it & it was just... bleh! I definitely dislike it, as well as midnight fantasy, circus & curious. This one just smells cheap & gross, as do the rest. I love floral fruity perfumes but the Britney Spears perfumes are just gross!

I have a love/hate relationship with this perfume. I loved it but it was too cloying and I gave it to my teenage sister who wore it one day and I wanted my perfume back lol. I bought a new bottle recently and now its relegated to the back of my shelf. Its fun and girly

I don't own this one yet, but I sprayed it on my wrist at Targé (Target) a while ago, and I loved it, but I've always been partial to vanilla, sugary perfumes. I'll have to get a bottle, but I, for one, won't pay a lot for perfume. Ebay is by treasure trove :)

Okay, so I just now bought this one; I got a full sized bottle at Sam's club for $37, while the regular retail is $57! I am so, so in love with this perfume! It will probably be my summer signature fragrance since I can't wear Fancy by Jessica Simpson, which is my winter/fall signature scent.

I thought I liked this, but it burns my nose and smells masculine musky fruity. I don't know if my bottle is getting old because I've had it for little over a year, but I put it on the other day and it made me feel icky. But then I do remember it can smell fun. Hmmm I'll have to try a new bottle.

With time, I have come to really appreciate this. Despite the name and the gaudy bottle. Elizabeth Arden has done a very good job with this one. I find my self reaching out for this a lot in spring and winters. The juicy kiwi note is the strongest on my skin and stays for a long time. The longevity of this perfume is amazing. I smell white chocolate and raspberries in the heart and the dry down is soft vanilla/cupcake accord.Apply with a very light hand as its quite strong and can get too sweet if applied too much.
It literally grew on me. From ridiculing to loving, I have learned my lesson.

When I smell this I think of cotton candy, white chocolate and all things sugary and yummy! If you like sweet smells you will love this.

When i think of "celebrity fragrance" this is the one that always springs to mind. It is everything I would expect from a celebrity perfume, it's fun, playful, young, flirty and the bottle is stunning. It's a very young scent and I kind of feel like every teenage girl I know has/or has had in the past a bottle of this (and more than likely used it all up because its such a great scent for both day and night).

I do sometimes feel like this fragrance gets a little, erm, cloggy? It's not a fresh scent but perfectly wearable and fun. Although, I do actually prefer Midnight fantasy and Hidden fantasy to this.

I try to spray this perfume on my skin when i was in the airport before. It smell exactly like cotton candy. Such a beautiful fragrance. I love the kiwi, litchi and white chocolate notes, its smell so sweet but i dont like the dry down. And make me decide not to buy this perfume. I feel headache at the moment, hmm...maybe because of the orris root and woodsy notes??

I guess the orris root and woodsy notes turns the scent into a very sharp ,powdery bitter scent. I think i end up smelling like a burnt cookies.

Still a beautiful fragrance but the base notes is just not for me.

FANTASY is a lovely, girly and cute perfume that smells so incredibly delicious for a sugarbomb. The fragrance is cheerful, yummy and fun. For me this is a mood enhancer. Somehow this delicious sugary overload is capable to brighten even the most dreadful, cold and rainy day.

The kiwi and litchi are very sweet, juicy and a bit tart in the beginning. The scent transforms into sweet and slightly soapy orchids in the heart notes. I have to confess, I do not like soapy orchids in most perfumes (especially sweet ones) but somehow the composition works in this one. The orchids actually provide a nice balance to the overall sugary sweetness. The white chocolate becomes more noticeable and quite irresistible towards the dry down.

The sillage and longevity are average on my skin. This scent is definitely a nice representation of the sugar sweet gourmand family. Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy and Hidden Fantasy are my favorites from Britney’s line.

Oh I tested really every Britney-scent, but what´s that? I expected soo much of it: white chocolate, litschi and and and... the only thing I smelled was an old and very unconfortable smell that nearly made me puke. I gave this fragrance to my friend and she has nearly killed me because of this unpleasant aroma. Unfortunately, it came to nothing... Britney, you can do it better!

This perfume is nothing special if you ask me, I just use it when I run daily errands! Its very sweet and a bit childish for me! Definitely not for a sophisticated women, but more appropriate for young girls. If you like Aqualina Pink Sugar you will most likely like this as well, as this has a bit more to offer!

Love this perfume!!! Once when I was working as a beverage cart girl at a country club ... some guy told me that he wished he could pick me up and wipe me all over him and his cart .. ;-) I love this site. it shows all the ingredients in each perfume.... after all its all about finding what ingredients mix well with your chemistry and sticking to perfumes that include them.

I received this fragrance as a gift a couple years ago at Christmas. I wasn't sure what I though about it, so I kind of forgot about it, and just left it on the shelf. Recently, I saw it and decided to give it another try.
When I first put it on, it smelled like sickly, overripe fruit. It was way too sweet and strong. I was getting a headache after a few seconds. After painful time of waiting, the smell actually got quite lovely. It was sweet, kind of like cupcakes, but not too sweet. Then, it changed into another smell that wasn't pleasant. So, I like the middle part, but I'm not sure if going through the horrible first part is worth it.

I can't believe I'm saying it (because I can't stand Britney Spears), but I LOVE this fragrance. It's super sweet and fruity, right up my alley. I have to disagree slightly with all of the vanilla cupcake references because Fantasy smells way too fruity to liken it to a plain vanilla cupcake. I smell cotton candy, kiwi, and a touch of maraschino cherries at first spritz. The scent maintains a clean freshness despite all the sugar. The white chocolate note comes out after about 30 minutes of wear, and the whole fragrance mellows out a bit when the base notes begin to crop up. I really love the orris root in the base. This might sound weird, but the drydown smells like a laundry detergent that is gourmand, if you can imagine that. Soft and sweet at the same time, like a pink angora sweater.

I do think this is a young scent. I'm a tad too old for it, but I really don't care and will wear it happily.

Sickly sweet, cheap smelling, cloying. Not for me, not even as room spray. I love vanilla as well so in theory it shouldn't smell as hideous to me as it does.

My favourite so far from BS's perfume range.. when i first tried it, I cant seems to forget the smell. I love the litchi smell lingering on my skin. Surprisingly the musk does not give me headache as it always do. The perfume is sweet in a great way. I only wear it on speacial occasion though..

I'm not a fan of Britney, but I tried this on a whim and I actually quite like it. It starts off smelling like cotton candy on me, then after awhile the white chocolate comes out and the scent becomes very warm and sweet. The drydown somewhat resembles ici, only stronger. Has decent lasting power too.

This was the very first perfume I ever bought and I still really like it. I think it's perfect for the autumn/winter seasons.

I'm a little old for this perfume so I just wear it around the house. I have a sweet tooth so Fantasy is a winner to me. Smells like cotton candy :-) And lol to the reviewer who said Barbie would wear it! Agreed.

I've tried this several times and it's just too sweet for me. The scent also seems very artificial.

I loved this when I first bought it and was quite sad when the bottle was finished.
I always got lots of compliments when I wore it but I don't think I'll buy it again. I think the sweetness is just too young for me now.

I also forgot that the spray used to dribble, the perfume leaked over the plastic collar until it melted and fell off then the top wouldn't go back on. Recently at work someone left a bottle in our toiletries basket in the ladies toilets & the top seems to be melted on haha

I like this one, but midnight is PARADISE.

This one is the damn girlish-sweet-thing. Although, when used right (and on the right girl), it can be sexy as hell.

I recently sat next to a young woman who was doused in this ghastly odour. I had to ask her what it was, so I could avoid buying it for my own daughter. I would suggest that if you wish to wear this perfume, easy does it, otherwise a prospective boyfriend will be asphyxiated- unless, of course, that's the effect you're after.

This perfume is so fun, and girly. It smells like delicious birthday cake, and I love sweet perfumes. I can smell the white chocolate alot, but I can also smell the fruity and floral notes as well. For some reason, whenever I smell this I think of pastries. I don't know why. This is a very delicious fragrance though.

My mom is the one that made me addicted to this stuff. I am such a girly girl, so this perfume does it for me. It smells like sweet cotton candy in a bottle, but it's not too sweet. I would recommend it for a girly girl.

Fantasy is a somewhat sweet fragrance.
The top notes are stopping me from loving this though, the red litchi really plays havoc with my nose and so does the kiwi.
On me this just gives me a headache, but its annoying cos i can smell a hint of white chocolate trying to get through, but its covered by all the other notes.
On me Fantasy is a dark perfume which smells a bit too much like a Kiwi.
The lasting power of Fantasy is incredible, it lasts for AGES, its still really strong at the end of the day! x

Do not be prejudiced against this perfume because of the brand and the girly bottle. This is a seriously cool creation, suitable for all ages! The top notes are watery and fresh, but the upcoming sweetness is very apparent from the start. Sweetness, yes, but not overdone. The white chocolate is cleverly blended with orris root, what a lovely idea for a drydown! So, the result is a creamy non-cloying sweet scent with hints of powdery woodiness. -> Want list!

So I changed my review for this one. It's a more recent purchase and I've come to find that I'm actually falling in love with this scent. It's crazy too because I don't really favor super sweet scents! Everytime I open my perfume cabinet all I smell is FANTASY. I can't get enough Haha It's super sweet but almost in a sexy way!

I can't say that I love or hate Fantasy. It's super sweet that reminds me of a carnival with caramel popcorn and cotton candy. But then again this one is SO STRONG. The first time I spray it on me, it's like I got hit with an ice cream truck! Even a friend of mine said that it was a little disorienting when I put it on. So I usually wear it during the rainy season because the cold mutes the smell as opposed to during the summer wherein the heat just pumps it up 10 fold. A plus for this perfume though is it's incredible staying power. I could still smell it even after 3 days! :D

Since more than a decade has passed since my high school days, I can openly declare that I like this fragrance. Back in the day, my obsession with all things cool, would have kept this garish, bubble gum bottle, completely out of sight. Now it stands proudly & I make no excuses for it.

Gourmand at its sweetest, condensed milk & white chocolate all the way. An array of all things cheerleader; playful, cheeky, flirtatious & obnoxiously sweet.

To all the scent snobs cringing at the thought, let me spray a little more to really get you going.

the first time i sprayed fantasy it smelled like a baked vanila cake.. it was so yummy...and that was the only note i got ... but as time past .. i found it overly sweet .. though it still smells great it now gives me a headache .. but the lasting power is Amazing!!! it lasts for ages!!!

Tres mignon par nom, tres mignon par bouteille, tres mignon par nature..C'est exceptionelle pour celui parfum! Je c'adore! Couldn't resist an introduction in French for such a chic perfume! When I wear this I feel like a little pussycat! Tiny, cute and filled with a worldly self-consciousness! Like a blushing bride, or an infant child on the receiving end of a sweetheart's dreamcrush! no one can beat fantasy!

Fantasy opens fruity and sweet but, on my skin, the fruity notes soon become less evident and it turns into a very delicious vanilla scent with a light touch of litchi.
Vanilla and white chocolate make it lineary sweet and very yummy. It´s an addictive fragrance, the lasting power is great and the bottle is lovely!

I like this perfume but i have found that if you wear it too much you become sick of it :/ x

i use to love this perfume until everyone started wearing it i remember i was the first one out of all my friends to get a bottle of fantasy and it was my everyday school scent but after a while every girl almost at my school had a bottle of this perfume it was such a common scent so i finished my 100ml bottle of fantasy and i will not be buying it again its not a bad scent its just so common and every has it.

although I can't bear the ultra sweetness that causing my tooth ache and maybe diabetes too, I still can say this perfume does have a nice sexy smell

I am running the risk of being crucified by all the BS perfume fans, but here it goes........two words to desctibe it: cheap and nauseatingly sweet. What's wrong with people...there are so many refined, sofisticated fragrances out there! I bet if they put a celebrity name on a bottle filled with Febreeze, people will be raving about it just as vigorously!

This is a lovely, fresh, sweet fragrance. I have had a couple of bottles throughout the years, although I must say that I feel I am getting a little old for it. It is very youthful and doesn't have much of the sophistication that I now seek out in my perfumes.

I loved this perfume, but in my town everyone uses it, too bad .. for me, in groups, shopping,in yhe office, always 2 or 3 people who wear it. :(

I got a tester of this perfume when it first came out, and I didn't really like it.
It wasn't until a year or so later that my cousin was wearing a really sweet perfume and I asked her what it was. Turns out it was Britney Fantasy! I decided to give it another go, and got myself a bottle. It smells like candy, and is a nice every day perfume. Personally I don't think its strong enough if you want to go out to a club and get noticed, but I typically wear it during the day, when visiting friends, and what not. Its lovely :)
I also adore the bottle, very cute!

This perfume layered with Ralph Lauren Hot is beautiful and radiates on my skin...alone it smells sickly sweet and cheap. Over done...like cotton candy on crack. Hate it alone but love it layered with Hot. Layered with hot it smells like delicious vanilla and coconut and RADIATES! I got so many compliments but NEVER when I wear it alone.

I sprayed this on, I literally felt like I sprayed on freshly baked chocolate cake! I smelled so sugary and sweet. This was a memorable fragrance

I don't like the fruity notes at the top. But once they are gone, I find the rest of the perfume beautiful. Love the dry down!!!!

This fragrance lasts really long and is relatively inexpensive, so would be a very good buy for those who like sweet fruity scents. I used to own a bottle but ended up giving it away as I just couldn't get over the "fruitiness". Apart from that, it is a beautiful perfume, sensual and feminine. Really great for a gourmand scent - the sweetness is balanced well and doesn't make you sick.

This perfume is soo cute, I wish I loved it more than I do. To me it's perfect after a while, and a while means a few hours since its longevity is amazing. The opening is a bit sharp to me because of the kiwi/litchi kick off, so it doesn't convince myself totally... When it develops it's creamy and delicious, my first tought was that it smells like a doll, it reminds me of my childhood, it's very evocative! All things considered I find it's quite nice, although it's not a "round" fragrance, it has an annoying edge that bothers me and lets the fragrance be very good only a few hours from first application.

I initially HATED this perfume because it was way too sweet and vanilla-ey (I'm guessing it was the white chocolate) for my liking... well now it's grown on me and I absolutely love it! When first sprayed, you can definitely detect the kiwi and litchi because its a burst of fruit. Then it quickly changes into a obnoxious vanilla smell that later fades into a delicious and soft cupcake scent. I would consider this a winter scent because it's heavy, I spray on two spritzes in the morning and it's still on my skin until I shower that night and it stays on my clothes until I wash it.

Wow, this perfume really lasts on my skin. I put it on yesterday evening and still smell it on me this morning. It starts off smelling very sweet, very gourmand but I can't say that in the end it still smells as good. But I will admit the first few hours wearing this perfume I loved it. And I will give a thumbs up to any perfume that lasts on my skin well over 8 hours

I am such a gourmand lover!!! I admit, however, i was very sceptical to even touch the Fantasy bottle as I am not that much into celeb's fragrances.

This is the first time ive ever smelled this and its been out for years... i bought it very cheap really for the bottle for my collection and surprised i really like it very sweet and young scent!!

My best guy buddy always love how I smell when I wear this perfume haha so that's a plus I guess! I really like it too, it's sweet yes but I dont think it's overbearingly sweet since it's sort of a "warm" scent if you know what I mean.
This was one of my first real perfumes and then I ran out of it for a while but smelled it once in a store and fell in love with it all over again. Perhaps it was nostalgia but I really love this fragrance.

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but I did not detect any of the sweet cotton candy everyone else seems to get. Mine was very "tart" for lack of a better word. Not sweet at all and not fruity either.

I am really not a fan of the music by Britney Spears at all,but I feel for her,and I think she seems to have gone through a lot of hell. I hope warm peace comes to her life.

Even though I'm 23 i'm in loooove with the britney perfumes and this one is the best. It's sexy and girly, it's so sweet but also a bit mysterious. I had to search for it abroad, because they don't sell this in my country and it was a blind purchase but my god am I glad I got this.

I expected it to be very "little girly" but it's not. True, it starts a bit cotton candy-ish, but becomes a little more complex. The white chocolate combined with the jasmine almost makes you want to lick your skin, but the musk and woodsy notes keep you from doing it. I do get compliments when I am wearing it but I find the scent doesn't last too long on me. Maybe I should toss it in my purse for a refresher mid day. I do think it is a daytime scent. It smells fun and bubbly like a young woman full of energy and ideas.

Incredibly sweet but very nicely done! I'm getting a dark raspberry cotton candy with vanilla undertones- absolutely yummy, reminiscent of childhood. You should be a fan of fruity gourmands to enjoy Fantasy- it doesn't remind me a great deal of Pink Sugar other than the cotton candy note. Good sillage and longevity; doesn't seem to overwhelm its surroundings and plays close to the skin. Fantasy is a cheerful scent!

It's a more fruity cupcake scent, which is strong. It's not sickly sweet to me, because I love sweet scents. I really like the girlish touch about it, because it attracts a lot of compliments! This is similar to pink sugar, but a more fruity and fresh take, and less sugary. One of my favs! This has very good staying and lasting power and lasts for hours on end!
It starts out sharp and fresh and then warms up to cupcake vanilla and white chocolate scents! Never grows old!

This is addictive! I cannot stop sniffing my wrists! Florals usually smell like Glade air freshener on me but this one is warm and sweet, a little spicy and just plain yummy! It reminds me of cotton candy, popcorn balls, and creme brule' but also very sexy. A great scent for adding some sparkle to a rainy, dreary day. Love it, love it, love it!

I don't know. I kinda find it similar to hidden fantasy, but bad similar. I like hidden fantasy better and its lasting power is better than this, too. This fragrance was gone after 5 minutes sprinkled on my skin, but i can still smell hidden fantasy on the other wrist. :)

Very sweet and tasty perfume. It reminds me of chocolate flavored marshmellows, if that exists. But compared to Viva la Juicy it seems one-dimensional as the florals are not very noticable. The perfume doesn't go anywhere different during the drydown which is a bummer. Overall it's a nice gourmand but I wouldn't buy it.

Fantasy is a very sweet and delicious gourmand fragrance. The first notes I notice on my skin are kiwi, white chocolate and musk. Fantasy is not a classy or mature fragrance, but it's youthful, sexy and casual (perfect for school or dates). The silage is quite potent, one or two sprays is enough to last all day.

This is a wonderful fragrance and affordable too! I think it is especially great for night time. It smells very sexy and I would recommend this perfume to those who are new to Britney Spears' perfurme.

This may be my absolute favorite gourmand ever; yes to be fair I probably think that about whichever one I am wearing that given day--I love Pink Sugar and Fancy etc. Pretty much anything sugary, vanilla and cake-like makes me happy. So of course I like this one alot. It does start out quite sharp and fruity and stays that way a few minutes---that sharpness is a little if-y for me but thankfully it fades quickly and turns warm and sweet. I think the musk and woods round the sweetness out a bit but it is really a rich cupcake drizzled with white chocolate and kiwi syrup. If you don't like gourmands that doesn't sound enticing but on my skin it works and is really lovely. My husband is crazy about Fantasy too :) thankfully, as he usually doesn't care for anything fruity (although he does like Midnight Fantasy and that is quite a blueberry sugar explosion to me). On a warning note, I think this one is best with one spray--that way it settles into your skin and is warm and lovely. As with alot of perfumes too many sprays can turn the most wonderul scent into a cloying mess.

had to review again because i just adore it:

warm, sparkling marshmallow- vibrant vanilla cake- a sweet yet ebullient explosion! VERY sweet i might add. just a spray on pulse points will have people recognizing you everywhere. in the very least you'll smell like a freshly-baked cupcake. yummy yummy. man do i love this. i think for a pick-me-up this could be layered with a fruitier floral, anything berry, or even a powdery floral (such has me envisioning something closer to the likes of Lolita Lempicka, Anna Sui, or Flowerbomb). it could be fun to enliven or uplift this sexy, purring sugar rush. either way- by itself or mixed cleverly you have a decadent fragrance with great sillage & longevity. rather than devour this fragrance, this fragrance devours me!

and i can't get over the fact that i'm not normally into gourmand fragrances, but i find Fantasy so well done. really want to try out Hidden Fantasy- for the orange/vanilla twist & most especially Midnight Fantasy, which many describe as being a berry blast.

This smells just like those toffe-apple lollies from my childhood. I hated those things, so naturally I hated Fantasy too. But as my girlfriend wears it, it grows on me. It smells different on her to everyone else. But on paper it's just candy, but a candy I don't like.

I think we should all keep in mind, this fragrance is licensed to Elizabeth Arden. What that means to me: Every fragrance I have loved that I found was licensed to EA has turned cheap on the re-release. I bought Hummer and it was gorgeouse, the second bottle I bought was nowhere near the same, almost undetectable. The exact same situation occured when I bought Britney Curious, or tried Usher He, Dirty English and Rocawear 91X. So essentially, if you've owned it and loved it once, leave it at that, because chances are, it won't be anything like the first.

Litchi is quite the naughty little thing these days in my fragrant happenings-upon, and after becoming acquainted with its appearance in Chloe's top notes, i realize even more my strong love for this exotically sweet fruit which lends itself so nicely to floral fruity gourmands.

Though i prefer just purely floral fruity or even citrus/berry type scents, i can really love a tastefully-done floral fruity gourmand and Britney Spears does just that. i am so impressed! I had to keep spraying the tester on my wrist & by my neck because I couldn't get enough of this, yes even despite the fact that it is quite sweet and powerful! How atypical of me, but i truly have praise for this maturely feminine, come-hither fragrance. It is very seductive with a touch of ebullience. It has a warm, comforting & quite long-lasting drydown, much like a hot cup of tea that you want to linger on a cold winter night. (really- considering this has substantial body- longevity is quite impressive & more than enough for me). Sillage is great & as i smell the trail of this scent wafting by me, it opens up a bit, to become less dense, a tad less sweet, and more floral. This is a nice quality & I find the sillage on a lot of Britneys to be noticeable & intriguing. (With Curious, i was absolutely so when i smelled it on a friend, who wore it quite well). Same goes for Fantasy, which is an alluring fuschia at first sniff, but develops into a sultry aubergine by drydown.

What I thought to be a sumptuous caramel was in fact the 'provocative heart, composed of jasmine and white chocolate'- really nice & softly provocative, but never garish. Overall, it came across to me as vanillic, which is almost noticeable from the beginning. But uplifted by an exuberant freesia-like floral in the top notes it is. Maybe the delicate yet bold orchid is trying to break through? The fruity floral aspect plays quite well alongside the gourmand sweetness, which I appreciate. Then there is the virtually undetectable golden quince, which is a shame because it happens to be my new favorite citrus! Maybe I need to go back & re-test to see if i catch any hint of citrus, because I find its inclusion here quite curious (but believe me when I say that's a good thing because i can never have enough fruit in my fragrance). Maybe it is hiding behind the kiwi or disguised by the litchi? I love the interaction of jasmine with many notes here and in other perfumes, be they fruity or gourmand- because it complements, exotifies & subdues all around it, drawing every component to a harmonious and well-balanced center.

Definitely too sweet for my liking, but if you like fruity perfumes you will most likely appreciate it. Despite my dislike for sugary perfumes it is Britney's best one. Chocolate and kiwi stands out the most in this perfume imo.

This is a very girly scent, When first sampling you feel like you are in a candy store, the chocolat and kiwi are just too sweet for me ( I like sweet scents) but this one is just to sweet to the point that it made me sick. sorry :-(

I purchased the Fantasy Perfume about a month ago. I wore it about every other day, until I ran the bottle empty. I received many compliments with this perfume. If I had to rate it on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it a 7. My niece is in love with the Fantasy Perfume & she wants it for Christmas, but since I already purchased her Christmas Gift, I'm going to buy it for her birthday, which is right around the corner. She's going to be thrilled.

This is my first and favorite Britney Spears fragrance. I found that I am definitely a fan of floral fruity gourmand scents and this is definitely gourmand. This perfume is a very sweet, fun and flirty scent. Not cloying to me at all.

This and Midnight Fantasy are my favorite of all Britney perfumes. This one is so sweet like cupcakes or something. I love sweet perfumes so this one was a must have for me. I have loved this since it was released in 2005. Awsome all around perfume and it's affordable too.

I used to have a little bottle of Fantasy. I used it for a while because I usually love sweet delicious gourmand fragrances. But this one didn't work for me well so I gave it up after a while.
It happened a few years ago and recently I tested it again in a store to see if it would be any different on me now but it's still the same white chocolate with something peppery which doesn't seem to work together very well.

I want to re-purchase this perfume for sure :)

So some women find the cloudy opening of cotton candy ridiculous, but I find it delicious. Yes, it's sweet and fruity. Yes, the name is attached to a celebrity, somewhat of a deterrent. But this perfume is totally mind blowing! The white chocolate is what makes it special. It's NOT an Aquolina Pink Sugar type of sweetness either. You won't sniff it and gain ten pounds. It's actually a layering of yummy sweet gourmand-ness. And yes, it could even take you somewhere or evoke a fond memory. A fun first date. The playground in springtime. The waft of Indian fry bread as you walk the state fair. No, it's not dark or complex or moody. But doesn't anyone just want to smell sweet and flirty and fun anymore?

I wrote a complete review below but wanted to add that I did a side by side test of Fantasy vs. Pink Sugar Sensual. I always thought that smelled very similar on me and I was right. Fantasy is a bit sweeter, PSS is a bit more mellow with a hink of musk that is not in Fantasy but on me at least they are fairly interchangable...I'm sure it's just my body chemistry as they have few notes that are the same. Both are pretty darn good I'm my opinoin though the husband loves plain old Pink Sugar the best (as do I). ;0)

I wrote a review before but I got my bottle off ebay and I'm sure I got a copy. Because all I could smell was musk! I now have a genuine bottle and it's just lovely! Smells like plastic/rubbery doll heads, they had this strange powdery vanilla scent... it's just lovely. Makes me feel 13 again! :)

I have always been a huge fan of sweet,feminine , florals and oriental scents, Fantasy is my alltime favorite paired with Anna Sui's secret wish magic romance, and Guess original and Roxy by Roxy,, and these fragrances listed here for some reason really agree with my body chemistry and therfore have remarkable staying power, different women have different body chemistry, so what perfume may work for me may not for you, for the sweet smelling distinctive scent lovers this ones for you!

Today I decided to test this one because I love the bottle and I'm thinking about buying it just to decorate the bathroom.
The funny thing is that I actually like it. Yes is a perfume for teenagers, yes is sweet and pink, and so what?!
I love the first notes, I can smell a lot of litchi, white chocolate and the slightly peppery kiwi. After 5 minutes I hate it because as you all said it smells like Pink Sugar. Hopefully the PS vibe go away really quicky and on my skin I have a softly sweet, musky, baby pink scent that I find lovely and wearable for my age. The lasting power is nothing special on my skin, but BS perfumes are better to put on clothes, in the other day I testes midnight fantasy on my wool coat and after 2 weeks is still there.
I think Fantasy is a winner, better than the others ones that I find sweet in a heavy headaching way. I will say that as a tennage/girly/pinky scent is a 6/10.
UPDATE: last night a friend of mine was wearing a really soft sweet perfume, the air was filled with this reaaaly nice smell and I asked her what it was and she said it was fantasy! brilliant! Now I want it more :P

First time I tried Fantasy I liked it but thought it was too strong. Second time I tried it I liked it and bought a teenie tiny bottle at CVS. I then grew to love it more and more every time I sprayed it on, now I adore it (and the husband likes it too...well he didn't find it offensive ;o) ). First spritz smells like Christmas to me kind of like the christmas tree smell that you get from a real nice mild pine, with some red berries lingering around, I also get a bit of kiwi in the background but have no idea what litchi is supposed to smell like. The dry down on me is powdery which is fine as I like powdery smells, I do smell some vanilla, musk, and possibly the white chocolate...wait...do I detect grapefruit lingering in the background??I don't think this would be a good blind purchase as it tends to smell very different than the listed notes on some people. It has replaced Alien as my favorite perfume (though I still love Alien for dressy occasions), Fantasy is a more "fun" scent.

I used to really like this one when it 1st came out but after about six months of constant use and smelling on just about every other person around me I began to get headaches...I doubt it was the perfume as a whole, it was more one specific note in particular that was annoyingly super-sweet, the white chocolate, which I hate the taste of and despise the scent of... I have since discovered Pink Sugar Sensual and it more than satisfies my sweet-tooth w/o sickly-sweet white chocolate....

Fantasy is the only scent in the Fantasy line I truly like. I walked into an office where the receptionist must have just put it on because the smell filled the room, familiar but I couldn't place it, so of course I asked. And then I went out and purchased it as soon as I could. :)
I'd never smelled Fantasy before so I think the familiarity comes from it's similar style to In Control Curious with a fruity/berry overtone rather than ICC's berry feel. It has a wonderful marshmellow like sweetness, possibly the combination of litchi and white chocolate, with a very soft hint of pepper.

So a round up of flavors? Soft berries, a hint of strawberry tartness (the kiwi?), a slight feel of pepper, and white chocolate marshmellows. A must if your a fan of In Control Curious. Yum!

I originally did not like this scent at all. However, I was 14 or so when I first tried it. As I have gotten older, this scent has grown on me. I do not think this smells like cotton candy. It is very sweet and candy-like, but it smells more chocolatey and vanillic to me than anything else. I can faintly detect a fruity note (I assume the kiwi note) when first sprayed on, but I get straight up sugar when it settles into my skin.

I love this perfume.It smells like warm vanilla cake topped with kiwis and other fruits.It is a warm scent,yes,it is cloying,but I don't mind,at least it is unique.At the drydown,it is most likely plain vanilla.This is a very cute and romantic perfume.It reminds of a teen girl dating a guy wearing shorts and a top.

I fell in love with this perfume when i tested it and bought it just 10 days later. When i got home and sprayed it on me it was just tooo sweet and i couldnt stand so i sold it on eBay and gladly got my money back and bought myself a non-sickening light fragrance from paris hilton

I like it, it's basically just smells like warm, sweet red berries on me :) which ain't bad, but abit boring. The main reason I didn't get it is it's too popular, I'd like to smell a little bit different from everyone else thanks ;)but I don't mind smelling it on others :)

This scent just smelled like a mad baker combined a Hostess cupcake with a fruitcake (at least on me). It was very sickly sweet, and I was honestly getting a headache from it after an hour before vigorously scrubbing it off my arm. However, a woman at the checkout counter recognized it and said that it's one of her favourite perfumes, and her friend with her agreed and loves it. Maybe it's just not the scent for me?

I tried this today (and MF too). Nice, but I think Jessica Simpsons Fancy is a bit similar with it: both are sweet and caramelly, candyish scents. And as I have Fancy, I won´t be buying this.

This and Believe, both Britney frags, are possibly the two that last the longest. Fantasy is delicious, always gets me in the mood for sweet little cakes or chocolate and I love the little pink adorable bottle. It is not my favourite to wear from Britney's collection, but if you want a fragrance that lasts long without reapplication (which drives me insane!) then this is it.

Fantasy... Who doesn't know about it!? It is such a bold, sweet and out there fragrance. When i first smelt it i was so surprised that it was actually really nice.

If you are one of the very few people who haven't smelt this think extremely sweet cupcake frosting or candyfloss. I cant really differentiate between all the notes, all i can smell is the sweetness.

I would say this is better suited towards teenagers or girls in their early 20's but i think everyone can pull it off.

This perfume is great day or night. It is worth the money as it lasts a really long time, spray it in the morning and you will still smell it at night. I think this fragrance is best suited for the winter, i think it may be a bit too heavy in the summer

I do love this but its one I wear at certain times cold weather is best time for this one ;-) its a fabulous warm sweet bubblegum scent that leaves you enveloped in sugar coated bliss, if you like tremendously sweet perfumes that linger and leave a trail of candyfloss behind you then buy this one! also the bottle looks lovely ;-)

I wanted to like this. Especially since so many people rave about how good it is. But alas, no. I cant stomach this scent. It is wayyyyyyy too sweet and not in a good way. I love a good sweet vanilla scent, but this smells artifical almost like splenda to me. Maybe its just my body chemistry. I never did get to smell the yummy cupcake note everyone else loves.

This is pretty weird but I became a Britney Spears fragrance fan. I never thought that I would like Fantasy by any chance but here I am wearing it almost everyday.

It is similar to Magnetism by Escada indeed but better in my opinion. Very very sweet but well mixed with kiwi. Very different in it's own way. Other people also seem to like it a lot. Another plus for staying power - whole day. Seriously, I had perfumes that were more expensive and they sucked when it came to staying power but Fantasy is a very pleasant suprise in that matter. Also smells beautiful on clothes.

I don't think that this is only for teenagers or silly blondes. As someone mentioned before it totally depends on person. I hate prejudices that came along with celebrity perfumes and sweet gourmands. On a right person it will smell delicious and pleasant. A lot of vanilla + white chocolate + little bit of kiwi

I love the bottle, the scent is long lasting, very sweet and cloying maybe too sickly for those that don't like sweet scents, but I love it ;-) you will be noticed wearing this it does leave a trai, use with caution!!!!

I find Fantasy to be extremely well done. Especially for a super sweet sugary celebrity scent. I find it is much better than say Can Can or Fancy. I ever prefer it over Pink Sugar. While I really like it, it is far to sweet for me personally. It smells great on others but its just not for me. All my girlfriends wear it. And my mom and aunts even love it. I guess its the type of scent that is ageless. Just because its by Britney and is sweet, doesnt mean its just for teens and young woman. My grandmother even loves it. This is probably her best fragrance. I really enjoy it. And I love the bottle and packaging too! : )

Fantasy is really really sweet as in a candy sweet fashion. I cannot really detect any particular fruit notes here, but a hue of sweetness like a mixture of kiwifruit's sweet, orchid's seemingly clean but really powerful projection and a lot of white chocolate type of creamyness.

The perfume is quite linear, or maybe it's the sweetness musks any subtle variation?
Somehow, in the beginning I detected some weird slightly strawberry leaf kinda note plus sweet berry, but it disappeared really soon.
And the dry down is just slightly tamed version of the sweet bomb with less projection and a touch of slight powdery woodyness.

It is not too bad, especially for people who enjoy intense sweetness, or want to smell like yummy food. However, to me, small dose on other people smells delicious, but on me, even a drop of it is just too much, really cloying. Sorry, I'm just not that sweet girly enough to appreciate this pink baby worshipped by so many fans.

This perfume is almost ridiculously strong. Especially since the area I reside in has tropical weather conditions. Ex: When I'm sitting in class (with NO a/c) the whole corner I'm sitting in smells like me.

And when I change out of my shirt and into a new one (WITHOUT touching up the perfume), you can still smell the fragrance...it even rubbed off on the new shirt.

Fantasy reminds me of a vanilla cloud with tinselly mylar party balloons floating in it. The tropical fruits in the topnote fade quickly. The cotton candy note is dominant for me throughout.

There is a crude, somewhat dissonant, laughing too loud with lipstick on your teeth quality to this scent that I rather enjoy. The perfume of a lady determined to have a blast no matter what, and damn the consequences. This is a gourmand without all the edges sanded off. A fluffy kitten, with claws.

Elizabeth Arden, the company that owns the license to Britney Spears' perfumes, did a very shrewd thing by injecting the same unapologetically sweet overlay into every one of Britney's scents...

Gourmands really aren't my thing, but there's something very agreeable about Fantasy once you get past the lucky charms marshmallow cotton candy nonsense in the first five minutes.

Unlike the other Britney Spears perfumes, however, this one doesn't let you off the hook so easily. I absolutely cannot wear this, especially in the summer, but if you treat this thing with patience and restraint, I'm sure it's wonderful.

I have a friend who wears this - she is pretty, petite and blonde and after asking her what she was wearing (Fantasy) I remember thinking "typical..." Although I LOVED the smell, but the sweetness of it just seemed so cliche when matched with her characteristics. However... another friend, tall, bigger build, and gorgeous auburn hair smelt incredible the other day, I actually wanted to hug her just to bask in the smell that was wafting from her in the most beautiful way, so I asked her what she was wearing, and it was Fantasy! What I'm getting at is that a fragrance is versatile, sure if you wear a Britney perfume that smells of candyfloss with a mini skirt and pink lip gloss you will get the reaction I gave my friend ("typical...") and the smell just becomes an addition to that overkill of femininity. But if you love the smell, like I do, but think it may be too girly or sweet, just be aware of what you wear it with in the way of clothing, hair and make-up, don't overdo all of those aspects and you can definitely get away with it! I want this scent but I keep thinking "no, its too sweet bla bla bla" but I am going to buy it today!! I love the smell I just have to get over the whole stereotype imaging I, and a lot of other people, give it. If you love a smell you can own it and wear it your own way! Its all about balance :)

This is my second review for Fantasy, as I got past the initial bad associations... I must say I am loving this for the cold weather! This is a hell of a good fall / winter fragrance. It really doesn't work as great during summer.

Great sillage, great staying power. Sweet, very sweet, but nothing overdone. Smells quite oriental, very musky, still featuring some earthy, raw note, which I believe is the orris. This gives the fragrance an exotic touch, and keeps it from being too sweet or flat. The musk here is really creamy and blends perfectly to the white chocolate note. Lychee is beautiful and fades fast, but kiwi remains throughout the whole composition, adding color and a fun vibe to the fragrance.

This is feminine, young and colorful, but nothing childlike. It's great for young ladies, but I wouldn't find it weird on a 50-year-old woman. Fantasy is quite original, a real creative masterpiece. It doesn't smell like any other perfume I know, except its copies, of course.

This is the best perfume on earth! I can't describe how wonderful and perfect it is! I wear it nearly every day. And omg the smell lasts soooo long! You can even smell it 3 days afterwards! The bottle is a dream-so beautiful!

I like it, but it's not love. I like the sweet top notes, but they fade quickly and a soft sweetness is left.

Fifty percent sweet, fifty percent tart, Fantasy is balanced by it's soft, warm base notes. Fantasy is unique and I would not compare it to anything else. It isn't like Pink Sugar at all. Additionally, Fantasy does not smell of cupcakes or vanilla. On my skin, I get a lot of juicy fruit, (the kiwi is prominent in the opening), topped with a slight creaminess, (undoubtedly the white chocolate mixed with the amber and orchid). The drydown is very subtle and rather typical of countless other fruity florals and gourmands that I have experienced. All in all, Fantasy is an affordable, well blended, happy scent that may be worn any time of the year by any woman of any age.

I just want to note that I don't understand certain descriptive words in many fragrance reviews. What exactly does "innocent" or "flirty" smell of? I am not mocking, I am just being honest. Also, who is to say that certain perfumes belong to certain age groups? I have read reviews that read: "This is great for the 25 and under crowd" or "This would be suitable for a MATURE woman over 35." Doesn't society already put us, as women, in too many "boxes?" That is fine for filling out the Census form, but not for what fragrance I wear or my personal style. I wonder, does anyone else feel this way? I just had to put this out there. Thanks for reading!

I bought this last week online and I was very excited after reading all these reviews. White chocolate, cupcake, vanilla. Warm, fruity candy cloying caramel sweetness... This would be the most perfect perfume in the world for me if only there weren't the woodsy notes that turn the cupcake into a pile of dusty old crums. I can smell them from the first sniff to the last. It does get sweeter but not softer for me. It doesn't even smell unique to me I just can't remember what other perfume smells similar to it. I start to doubt my sniff-abilities when I read how others feel about Fantasy. I'm sad.

Love it. Very girly and frisky.. I use it on my girly girl kinda legally blonde days. If reese in legally blonde wore a perfume...this would be it. VERY girly and playful. Love it.

omg, this one is toothache inducing, cloying sweetness and very intrusive, great sillage and lasting power... I get a migraine by only thinking about it.

This is truly one of the best and most affordable gourmands currently on the market. HE, LE, it crosses almost all the age barriers and perfume snobbery cliques - nothing compares to Fantasy and I don't believe even the developers of this fragrance could have presumed its success!


There is a sharp but sweet kiwi note in the top, but this yields to the rich sugar sweet red lychee (correct way to spell it!), and later to a creamy musky white chocolate on a creamy floral heart, the jasmin and orchid are beautiful in this. Woods keep it grounded and stop it from running away with sugar laced intentions ;)

Sillage is beautiful, not overpowering, it doesn't hide away either. Longevity is enormous, I get a good 12 hours out of this.

I will say one thing for the bottle however - its pretty and I love the Fantasy series and continuance of the flacon design, but outside the 6 bottles I have had and used I have ALSO had 2 50ml bottles spoil on me, and 1 100ml bottle with incomplete seal around the neck base and one 100ml bottle that snapped off completely at the neck base (4 bottles total) - all were replaced/refunded. Only ONE of those bottles was not purchased at an authorised retail point, so I do wonder if there is a design flaw there somewhere.

None-the-less I will continue to buy and love this fragrance. I bought one for my little girl as well, she smells so sweet in this!

OMG, this perfume is like toxic vanilla in a bad way, cheap mix, smell like a vanilla shower gel or like a cheap vanilla - chocolate lipstick... sorry britney, but this smells awful, cheao, syntetic and vulgar.... bad, bad, bad.... but for a designer perfume is ok, because they all are weak, cheap, marketing smelling that i am tired about.. sorry....

Wristsniffer, I completely understand your dilemma. I'm also not thrilled that this is a Britney Spears fragrance and I must admit that I chucked the little box it came in as soon as I got home LOL! I just love the fragrance so I'm willing to ignore the name and the tacky bottle... not easy, but the fragrance is worth it :-) You should just close your eyes and go for it... or send a friend to buy you a bottle.

This is my favorite of the Britney fragrance that I have had a chance to test. I adore Believe but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fantasy.

It is an exotic tropical dessert to me. It whisks me away to an exotic tropical island getaway in my mind. I imagine myself being in Hawaii, with the tropical fruit and flower aromas in the air. The sweetness of the gourmand notes combined with the florals, in this blend, I find almost intoxicating!

Fantasy is VERY sensual and so sexy in my opinion. Perfect for a romantic date or even just when you are relaxing and want a fragrance to envelop you like a cashmere blanket. It is a wonderful gourmand.

I can detect the sweetness of the chocolate and cupcake, juicy kiwi, and the jasmine and orchid, musk and woods. There seems to be a rich vanilla flavour to it as well though it is not listed in the notes (perhaps it is the cupcake I smell). Certainly a wonderful creation in my opinion. I think it is suitable any event and for any age group as well. Quite strong and long lasting with excellent sillage.

The bottle is very cute, classy and somewhat exotic looking to me. It appears rich with the jewels - much better looking in person than what you see on the screen. If you love gourmand scents and if you haven't yet tried this one, you really should.

Ok so I finally got my 30ml bottle from England unsniffed.I got it for only 12 pounds so I took the chance.I have to say that I have been searching for this perfume for a very long time and I was so curious about it because all of the reviews. I have a cousin who lives in America and I asked her to tell me how did it smell but her opinion wasn't a positive one saying that it "stinks". I had to wait for it for aprox.4 months and I just couldn't wait to open it when I saw it in my hands.My opinion about this perfume is a positive one;to me it smells great, not to sweet at all,and to me it smells like caramel not like cotton candy or cupcakes.I finally realized what it reminded me of,even if it may sound weird, to me it smells like "Exclamation" by Coty, which I loved when I was a teenager.This perfume makes me happy cozy, sweet, adorable and it makes me very comfortable I will certain be buying it again!!!

I really wanted to love this perfume, coz anyway people around me love it when i wear it.. but its just too cloying and sweeeeeet for me. I can only smell red litchi..however after some time it really does changes to something more cupcakey/ vanilla-ish.. the white chocolate smell is very apparent. I prefer that scent more than the original litchi smell. However it'll take some time for the scent to change... I NEVER wear it during hot days coz a major headache will be waiting for me, guaranteed. I wont say i dislike it, though sometimes i do.. i still have to give it some credits for being a man-magnet in some ways.. got a few compliments from this perfume.. This fragrance truly is a white chocolate cupcake, sugared kiwi fantasy..I have never smelt a perfume as temptingly delicious as this.

At first, the sharp smell of kiwi contrasted by the honey-like flavours of red litchi is the dominant scent but is soon surronded and softened by the scrumptious smell of warm, creamy white chocolate, romantic pink orchids and finished with a woody vanilla musk.

I love this! I haven't had it in a long time and I miss it. This is the only Britney Spears scent I ever tried. I wore it a lot a couple years ago. It's very sweet at first, but it mellows out very nicely. I love it when you can attach memories to a scent, and this one holds a lot.

I wanted to hate this. I did not even spray it on at first; I took my 7-year old daughter with me perfume shopping. She smelled it and brought it to me, saying, "Umm, Mommy smell this one!" I took a quick sniff and was turned off by the super-sweetness. As I walked around the store, about 10 minutes later, I kept smelling something yummy; it was on my hands. After backtracking, I discovered that this was it. Yes, it is super-sweet candied fruit at first but give it a few minutes. It is very sweet and fruity (I get the lychee most), but surprisingly complex, and well-balanced. Definitely girlish, but it develops a muskiness over time that is a little more "adult." A casual, fun, all-year scent, with great staying power. But NOT good if you don't like sweet!!

Update: I found it on sale & broke down & got it, my kids liked it so much. I like this in the winter when I need a pick-me-up or to bring out my inner "party girl."

Funny, this is not what I expected! I thought Fantasy would be overwhelmingly strong and sweet, but it's nothing like that. Not that girlie either, a lot more grown up than what I expected by the reviews. It's quite oriental on me, actually. An oriental vanilla, I would say. It's a little heavy, indeed, like vanillic and musky, but not gag inducing sweet. And I thought it would have a monstruous sillage. It doesn't, just wear it in the right amount.Plus, the first burst of kiwi and litchi is amazing and the white chocolate note is something beautiful!

The thing is, it just smells a lot like something I didn't like in the past. It's not bad at all, it's just like a good version of some perfume I disliked, which annoys me a little. But I can see myself really enjoying Fantasy a lot, as soon as I get past this association.

I LOVE this fragnance. I bought it the minute i saw and smell this... The lady who works in a perfume store told me this is the smell her husband likes the most(and she was about 30 years) so I thought,why not? I like it too. And I wasn't wrong.

It's so strong,you can smell it at least 8h and 2 spritz is enough to hold the whole night... Lasting power is longer then for example Dior Midnight Poison. Fanzasy is on me stronger than MP,which I didn't expect. People notice him and complimente a lot.

I will start out by saying I'm not the targeted age that this is marketed for, but that doesn't matter to me in the least - this is a very likeable perfume that instantly drew me in with it's vanilla cupcake creaminess & fresh notes of kiwi & lichi - which are delicious here in my opinion.
For sex appeal, orchid & musk blend in beautifully , quite a sexy effect all around in a very casualy modern, youthful way.
This is a strong , sweet scent, lasts for a good long time on my skin - six hours plus.

This is a great perfume for any 'girl' out there regardless of age in my opinion.
I think the bottle is very cute ,it's unabashfuly young & girly with no pretenses of trying to be sophisticated - it's just sitting there,happy, pink & pretty adorned with it's little green rhinestones.

This isn't the usual kind of scent I would go for, but after having read the reviews last night and feeling that I need something sugary sweet in my life, I went to go and test it this morning AND bought a bottle immediately as it was excactly how I imagined it and what I feel like wearing at the moment. This is definitely not a scent for a shrinking violet. It is definitely loud and sweet and I think best used sparingly. Not a scent I would wear to the office - it is way too playful and not discreet. Makes my toes curl with its yumminess :-)

That being said, this fragrance is definitely for gourmand-lovers. It smells like white cake with pink frosting and pastel sprinkles on top. It's actually very soft on me, and not overly sweet. It's just the PERFECT white cake scent on my skin. This is what I wanted Aquolina's Pink Sugar to smell like, but that fragrance bombed out on my skin.

I get waves of notes while wearing Fantasy. I don't find there is a well-defined transition between top notes, heart notes, and base notes. Rather, one note will emerge for a while, and then another, and then another may re-emerge later. I sometimes smell a lot of litchi. Other times, I smell a lot of white chocolate. Later, I might get kiwi or orchid or sugary musk. It also smells different indoors as opposed to outdoors. I feel like the notes themselves are in a dream-state when I wear this fragrance.

Fantasy is so easy for me to wear when I can't decide, or feel overwhelmed by perfume in general. I find it very, very pleasant, and I wish I had a back-up bottle.

The cloying sweetness of the white chocolate in this one turns my stomach sorta like the praline/maple accord in the Betsy Johnson... I mean I like sweet(Pink Sugar, Queen, Flowerbomb...)but this is just rediculous and thats kinda strange because when it first came out, I was a big fan of this one...

I first smelt this when I was working in a chip shop and this petite blonde girl walked in, and it was like a candy cloud surrounding her, really unique but not too overwhelming.Really suited her. I asked her what it was, and got it soon after. . . but , suddenly started noticing it on every other teenage girl, and not just noticing it... tasting it, being suffocated by it. . . yuck.

It's so girly, sometimes I feel a bit too tombyish to be wearing it, and so hardly ever do, but love the smell. It's VERY sweet, candy like, comforting. . . my girlfriend put it on the other day though, and to be honest, she's a bit toooooooo gay for it, and it just smelled WRONG.:P Not that I'm stereotyping, but it was a disaster.

I had this so many times. I´ve loved this fragrance for years, but now I´m soooo tired and it´s so boring for me.

The scent is so sweet, but now I can´t smell white chocolate anywhere...I only smell very strong flower notes.

Now, this perfume don´t makes me feel special like years before. I don´t know if this has been reformulated or what, but this intoxicate me and makes me feel bad.

I bought my THIRD bottle today, And I still think it smells as great as it did to me back in 06 when I first got it. I still cant believe how much like cotton candy/cupcake it smells with out bring totally gross and food smelling (like a "scentsey") I reccommend it to anyone, expecially those who are scared of smelling like an "Old Lady" which has always been my personal fear.

The perfume is wonderful sweet and very teen and the body soufle it nourishes skin wonderfully.

First of all - it's not jet-set of perfume world :) Fantasy is yummy smelling, nice loking and strong scent for girlish women. Many people say that it's aimed for really young teenagers, but personally i don't think so. Of course it's not that sophisticated, luxurious and romantic perfume but its overpower strongness and gourmandise could be weight too much for teen person.
But its gourmand sweetness is really meaningful. If you like perfume with big amount of chocolate, kiwi and exotic fruit you should try this without doubt, in the other way - even don't approach toward Fantasy.
I like this fantastic pink bottle with green diamonds, it reminds me about beautiful arabian architecture like from "1000 and One Night".

PS: sometimes its girly sweetnes could be addicted :)
But be aware, mostly men hate it :(

Like the sweet note in it.gonna wear this with yves rocher vanilla to add some vanilla and to cut the white bitter chocolate.cause i l ove vanilla with sweet notes.love it that way.

I think there should be an OBSESSED button option for this one! It really took me a long time to be able to understand this fragrance, and now that i do, i cant stop bathing myself in it. And I get so many compliments!

I don't know what happened with me and this fragrance. When I bought it I really liked it but after a few weeks it turned into a heavy smell, similar to rotten fruit. It soon became unbearable and I can't use it anymore, with my regret. That's so hard for me to understand, I'm a big fan of litchi and I can always tolerate white chocolate in a perfum cause I love it(both notes are easily detectable and dominant here); every note listed in this parfum should be perfect for my nose and skin but it's not, not anymore. I wonder if this abrupt change also occurred to someone else..

Don't like this perfume, it's soooooooooooooooooooo sweet; I can't stand the smell. Even sweeter then cupcakes! A big no for me~

It smells like a Valentine's Day gift of flowers and chocolate on me. It might not be everyone's thing, but I think it's nice. Not a signature scent but good. Some are saying that it smells "young," but I don't think it does...older women do not have to smell like formalin and talc! My only real complaint is that it doesn't seem to last very long. After about an hour, I have to have my nose right on the spot to smell it.

I used to love this one but now i found it a little bit weird & cheap at first spray,in my school every girl used it also the teachers,my cousins,oh my lord is an invasion... :(

I can only smell the fruit in this, a cupcake never comes up for me, but it is still a lovely scent, aimed more for a teen girls.

Fantasy is my favorite from all the Britney scents I have tried. The bottle is pretty but it looks a little like some Barbie perfume bottle. little too kiddy, but its cute.

When you first spray it on its very sweet and candy like. I think I detect the kiwi a little. after some time it smells really creamy like a cupcake and white chocolate. when I spray it on my clothes I can still smell it days later so the lasting power is very good.

so yeah. I love Fantasy, its a very strong but cute perfume

For me, this is the BEST fragrance of Britney Spears. My ex boyfriend gave it to me as a present and I really loved it! I love the packaging...it's magical and the bottle...oh so adorable and charming! I'm so addicted to this scent. I remember one day I was in the mall and the sales lady followed me and I notice she's been smelling something and fascinated by the scent she's smelling. She followed me and asked what perfume I was wearing and I said Fantasy by Britney...she said it's so charming, seductive and yummy! She loved it. Also my friends loved it! I use to have Curious which my husband gave to me ( I asked for it ) because I love the bottle and light blue is my favorite color. I loved the bottle also the scent but it's not as special as Fantasy. Maybe because I'm really not into FLORAL scents because it makes me feel like an old woman. But Gourmands for me are the best! It stays long in my skin and I recieve so much compliments! I LOVE IT! I ADORE IT! I WANT TO HAVE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! Good job for this Britney! I also wanna try Believe and Circus fantasy though.

Oh just ewww... It was soo sickly sweet and candy like. I could not stand it. How is this popular? Well I guess to each their own. Not my cup of tea by any means. I tried it in the store and immediately turned my nose and went, "oh ewww" I don't care that it has Britney Spears' name either, just not a fan really of Gourmand scents... Vanilla is ok - but this, oh no. If you like Gourmand then maybe you will like it.

Am I the only one who thinks this resembles Angel? Although this one is gentler than Angel.
I'm a big gourmand fan. I had such high hopes for this, but it smelled to me like all those cheap Angel copy-cats.
I'm a die-hard Britney fan and I LOVE Midnight Fantasy but this to my nose was just a generic, teensy "sugary sweet" scent. Not yummy, just overwhelming.

I really like sweet scents but this one is just way too sweet, it is cloying. I am so surprised to see litchi and kiwi as top notes - I can't smell any fruity freshness in it at all. It is just strong vanilla and sweet white chocolate that I smell in this perfume. It smells a bit cheap on some people too. Most seem to like it though and many people wear this - you can find it very cheap in the UK maybe thats one of the reasons.

i like this perfume alot! its really fruity and stays so long on me. i knew i would like it, and i couldn't resist buying it, even this close to Christmas. A winner for sure! although the bottle is a little tacky...

The bottle is really pretty and it smells amazing..it is quite strong so you don't need many squirts which is good but the nozzle is small and squirts it all out in one direction and i prefer the mist ones like on charlie red.The smell is not even and i can't smell all of the things in the list above but the main scent is gorgeous :)

I love sweet fragrances like Miss Dior Cherie. And yes, this is very sweet too. But It is a different sweet.

Not real food sweet like vanilla, honey and blood orange that can have a mouth watering effect. Its rather a fake sweet. And It LASTS and LASTS. It has great staying power as well as good sillage.

So this will be my third review of BS Fantasy. My first review said that a couldnt stand the sweetness and over powering sugar, then the 2nd said that it was pretty good, but i couldnt stand the "almost oriental" feel of it. Now I am here to say that after getting a huge bottle of it on a whim, i am in sugared fruits/white chocolate/musk HEAVEN!!!!!!! I am not one to wear the same scent in a row very often since i tire of scents so quickly. BS Fantasy is delicious and heavenly. Every time a wear this men and women say how amazing i smell and say that it goes with my chemistry very well. If you haven't tried it yet, or have tried it before and not appreciated it, spend dome time with it. I promise you will love it! .... note: and if you are like me and think any scent worth owning should be string and long lasting, this perfume gets an A+++++!

as many others have said im not a fan of celeb scents and i cannot make my mind up on this one really. its overporwering,sickly and to sweet, do not sit in a car with it on u will through up! on the over hand i do kinda like it for all those reasons, not my favourite though. its a bit cheap smelling and is definately a teen smell!

This is a most gorgeous fragrance. Edible and sexy beyond comprehension. Its staying power is mad, a full-day later it is still, somehow, slightly present. I find the bottle to be magical, not the least bit tacky. I don't think it's just for the young, I'll likely still wear it when I'm middle-aged. It's the bloody best, simply put.

I have this perfume. My boyfriend at the time said it was the best-smelling scent ever. It goes extremely well with my body chemistry, and the lasting power is great. It smells very vanilla-y, with some notes of spices. It's incredibly sexy and poeple will compliment you. Just don't wear too much- it'll become cloying!

There are very few celebrity perfumes that I actually like but this one stands out above the rest to me. Fantasy is the perfect Floral Fruity Gourmand, sweet and girly and sexy at the same time. The kiwi and the litchi are perfect together and blend together with the chocolate and the cotton candy to create a delicious aroma. The thing that stands out about this perfume is that it is unique, I have never smelled anything else like it. I am not a fan of Miss Spears and I don't care for any of her other perfumes, this one just seems to have to perfect blending of notes. I have been told while wearing it "What smells like cookies?" although it doesn't particularly smell like cookies to me, it is just a sweet, girly smell without being over the top sweet.

One of the best perfumes I've ever tried. Its perfect when going out at night, reminds me of going to a nightclub. It certainly gets tons of attention. I've worn this and have had people tell me I smell so yummy. I have 2 bottles of it at home!

Not being harsh ... but I absolutely hate this perfume. It makes me feel sick and I'm not exaggerating! It is so sickly sweet - urgh!

My sister has it. At first she loved it, now she is not happy with it, and she is thinking about giving it to me. As for me, at first I didn't like it, and now I started to enjoy it. I guess the tables turned! Fantasy in a very characteristic perfume, to my taste it IS a little too sweet, it could have been less sugary. I like the top notes - the opening is very fruity, I can also smell the flowers but then it turns super super sweet. I love the smell of white chocolate, but in this perfume it's a kind of white chocolate overdose.

I wore it today, it was really cold and dark on the outside and I have to admit that Fantasy cheered me up! If only it was a little less sweet, I would wear this anytime, but now I find it only appropriate for cold days or when you need some sugar in your life. In other case, its rather annoying and headache-inducting.

I personally prefer florals, fuity florals with a hint of sweetness, they're more sophisticated to me than gourmand fragrances, but sometimes you just want to have fun and this perfume is great for these ocassions. But beware! It's super super sweet.

I got a bottle of this when it had first came out. I do love the opening sour fruits, and the "cup cake" like scent. i used to not be in to any gourmands at all, but revisiting this, i really do like it. the only thing that i dont like is that the amber may be just a bit too bitter ..(if amber can be bitter):).. and a littler too strong. the amber almost make this scent smell a bit oriental to me. But i really can appreciate a scent that can last as long as this one. Fantasy is in for the long haul! I think any age can wear this. it is slightly cozy, and very warm, yet sweetly fruity, so you cab also wear it in any season.

I had a bottle of Magnetism by Escada years ago and when I sprayed Fantasy for the first time a week ago, I had the strongest fragrance flashback to Magnetism. I was very surprised at how similar they smelled, it must be the Litchi and Jasmine.
Delicious smelling but very sweet, almost bordering on too sweet, I could not wear this every day. Hideous hideous bottle looks cheap and tacky. Probably why it took me so long to get around to trying this one!

I've recently been liking sweeter scents, and wanted to try something a little more gourmand than what I usually go for. After reading plenty of reviews for Fantasy, I bought it blindly, and am so happy I did! This starts out with lots of sweet fruits that aren't too heavy. I definitely smell the kiwi, very bright and playful. When it dries down a little bit, I start to get that delicious cupcake-and-icing smell, but the fruitiness is still there too (I had expected it to completely disappear). The white chocolate note is soft and creamy, and the floral notes are barely there, but just enough to tamper with the sweetness.

This is a casual scent... very young and pretty. It's innocent, but sensual. Makes you want more after you get a whiff. As for the bottle? Haha, well, it IS tacky, but in kind of a cute way. Lucky I'm a teen so I can get away with displaying it on my counter ;)

PS. I put in on at 6 in the morning, and was getting compliments at 2 in the afternoon. Great staying power!

I hate to admit this as i hate celeb scents. But i do secretly like this one, as it warms nicely on my skin and leaves me feeling cosy and happy weirdly enough.

I was so sure that I would not like this as I got the impression that Fantasy is extremely sweet.I own Midnight Fantasy which I really like muchos.With Fantasy I was pleasantly surprised, the bottle doesn't look as tacky as in pics and the smell is pretty yummy.Or no.Not just pretty yummy, very yummy, like cookies.I think I have to add this to my wishlist.Lol.:D

Ohh, this one is delicious. Strangely, I wasn't crazy about it when it was purchased months ago. Tried it again the other day and fell madly in love! LOL! ;'D Everything about this scent is awesome from the fruitastic opening notes to the cake like vanilla-y base. Lasting power is amazing and it's a well-balanced, sweet and scrumptious scent. This would be great for just about anyone. Don't understand those turned off by its sweetness...? It is gourmand after all...DUH! Well just try it and don't be put off by the name or the bottle. It isn't just for "little girls".

OMG this is one of the best fragrances ever made, it smells like a mixture of vanilla, cotton candy, sugar, (okay my husband loves it, because it smells like a bakery shop! LOL

It is so sweet... I smell the scent of cookies that are just being baked. It is amazing, but according to my opinion, this perfume is not for hot weather, but for the winter. I think that its sweet scent can make you a bit sick what it is too hot, but during the rest three seasons, it is adorable!

I am a very girly person and I was very excited to get this perfume as it has fantastic reviews..but the smell was very disappointing..the smell is very overpowering and sickening..specially the kiwi and orchid..but my very own best friend absolutely loves this fragrance...I would keep it cus its in a gordy bottle..but I gave it away to her!
If you're a very imaginative and creative wearer you would defo not recommend this to anyone! cus I wouldn't!

Since its release in 2005, Fantasy has been such a wonderful scent to have and smell everywhere. Yes, there are tons of sweet fruity sugary scents out there. But one can always tell when they are smelling Fantasy. There's of course Flowerbomb, Pink Sugar, CanCan, Fancy, and Hot Couture, but to me Fantasy is a fragrance all on its own. Even more so then Curious, I think Fantasy has the chance of lasting forever on the fragrance counters. I see it being around long after I'm gone from the world. It's just something really special. I know girls in there teens who live by it and women in there 40s and 50s who absolutely adore it. It's ageless which I think is what gives it its cred. as being a new classic. The packaging can't be beat either. It's so fun, colorful, beautiful and different. I just love it! And the bottle! Oh that bottle! It has to be one of my favs ever! Just STUNNING! Britney and Elizabeth Arden did an amazing job on every part and detail of Fantasy, I find even much more so then what they did w/ Curious. I used to depsise this perfume (see my review futher down on this page). But I decided to try it again and it's not that bad to be honest. Sure it's very sweet and almost sickening but at the same time very warm. The sickening part disappears later and then the chocolate cupcake girlishness emerges. I like the bottle aswell but since I am a perfume snob I wouldn't buy it. But maybey some day who knows?

great fragrance for any girl it's very strong but really sexy and young i can smell this from 20 feet away, first thing i smell when i spray is vanilla and kiwi. Then the smell gets soft and romantic with whiffs of white chocolate and the base of musk great Britney Spears !!!!!!

Fantasy is fantastic! Well done, Britney. I wear this so often that my family and friends associate me with this fragrance - and I have no complaints! The cupcake, vanilla, and candy notes combine to make a very delicious and very sexy scent that I have continued to and will continue to buy for years to come. Oh, and on a side note - I have received more compliments on this fragrance from men than anything else I have ever worn! A definite plus!

Fantasy is such a bubbly, girly, candy-sweet fragrance. It's sickeningly sweet but still a pleasant fragrance. It's a thousand times sweeter than Midnight Fantasy. Midnight Fantasy is more of a darker fruity fragrance while Fantasy is more of a lighter fruity fragrance. I won't lie, this bottle of perfume is super duper sweet. It reminds me of all things candy, from bubblegum to cotton candy. Fantasy is a very powerful fragrance and its presence demands attention as soon as it hits your skin. The fruit is definitely there in the top notes but as this scent settles the middle and base notes come in to play creating a very pleasant drydrown. I acutally like the drydown better than the opening, because the presence of the perfume isn't as strong, and leaves a warm and excitingly sweet feel and scent on your skin. Ideal for teens and can pretty much be used during any season.

I think Fantasy is lovely. I am not sure I could wear it, because it is too gourmand, but it is delicious !!!
