Fantasy is such a bubbly, girly, candy-sweet fragrance. It's sickeningly sweet but still a pleasant fragrance. It's a thousand times sweeter than Midnight Fantasy. Midnight Fantasy is more of a darker fruity fragrance while Fantasy is more of a lighter fruity fragrance. I won't lie, this bottle of perfume is super duper sweet. It reminds me of all things candy, from bubblegum to cotton candy. Fantasy is a very powerful fragrance and its presence demands attention as soon as it hits your skin. The fruit is definitely there in the top notes but as this scent settles the middle and base notes come in to play creating a very pleasant drydrown. I acutally like the drydown better than the opening, because the presence of the perfume isn't as strong, and leaves a warm and excitingly sweet feel and scent on your skin. Ideal for teens and can pretty much be used during any season.

I tried this one sometime ago and I think the lasting power is great. However the scent does not really work with my body chemistry beacuse it turns into something that smells really strong and overpowering. The idea itself is great but it dosen't really seem to work. It smells nice on my friend who has it but on me it smells like sour kiwi.

Am I the only one who finds herself too embarrassed to actually purchase this scent? It's really a shame because it's a lovely, unique juice that should have been launched sans the tacky "appeal" of Miss Britney.

The white chocolate note in Fantasy is really what sets it apart from other sweet scents such as Pink Sugar. It turns into a sexy dessert that surprisingly doesn't feel overwhelmingly foody on my skin; it's quite sensual and well-blended. It's sweet, yet dry and similar to a cupcake, but without that sickeningly sweet undertone that so many teen scents flaunt. The kiwi note is interesting enough to set it apart from most other fruity scents out there.

The bottle is undeniably awful. It faintly reminds me of a bottle of Sun Moon Stars by Karl Lagerfeld, which I wore in high school, but the tacky rhinestones and hot pink color take it from classic and interesting to cheap-looking in an instant.

I do own a celebrity perfume: Lovely; a gorgeous scent fronted by a sophisticated and classy woman who was very involved in the process of developing her scents and whose name I don't at all mind mentioning as associated with my perfume. Britney's a completely different story. If there were ever a more misplaced role model for teens...ah, well. You live and learn, but you don't sell perfume to women with class by flashing the world as you exit a car.

Someday I may get up enough courage to buy a bottle; I'll just have to fib a little when someone asks what I'm wearing...

Fantasy smells like someone has taken the essense of heaven and captured the scent it in a beautiful, exotic bottle..this fragrance smells like the kitchen while cupcakes are baking in the oven, the sweet aroma of white chocolate frosting and kiwi cake blend together so beautiful to make this fragrance delicious and almost edible..I find that a small spray at the back of the neck is enough for the scent of fantasy to surrond in a soft pleasant way all through out the day as it is a very strong fragrance and has the potential to be overwhelming if too much is worn. I absolutely adore it :)

From the prior reviews I was expecting to pass out from a sugar induced coma when smelling this. Not so! It is sweet, but softly so. There is a hint of cotton candy, but it's not in the childish way I was expecting. I think it's somewhat comparable to Hanae Mori, maybe just not as adult. The lasting power is decent too.

i don't really dig these britney fragrances, they all smell very cheap and altough i haven't tried this one out i doubt that i would like it. in my oppinion from all the celebs, the best fragrances are j lo's and no other. sorry but it's like that...

to guest - pink sugar is more of a "burnt sugar", cotton candy type scent while fantasy is sugary in a vanillic way. think of cupcakes and white chocolate.

Okay I really want to buy this one because I LOVE Midnight Fantasy and want to try the original. I am really apprehensive only because I bought Pink Sugar based on reviews and it was so sweet and synthetic that it really made me sick!? I have read that Fantasy is similar to Pink Sugar in terms of the cotton candy scent. Any suggestions? Thanks! ;')

This is my all time favourite. I got 3 bottles coz I am afraid I can't find it later. I think 3 large size is enough for me for a long long time. I appreciate the mouthwatering fruitiness and seductive sweetness this perfume brings to me. All my students feel happy around me when I wear this perfume. They are kids and they really love this candish scent. I don't mean this is a perfume for young ladies only, I think it suits everyone's taste! I love love love this and I can't imagine how I can live without it :P

Sugary kiwi and litchi was my first impression... I accepted this, only because i love the kiwi flavor...

Possibly in other case of exaggerated sugary citrus smell i could sense a rotund disavowal. But in this one i can understand why any women likes this fragrance: its like a kiwi pie, decorated whit a lot of glassed litchi and chocolate lines, very fat, very luscious, very sugary, very tempting :)

Makes me remember a little bit (only a little bit) to So of Oscar de la Renta... and the pink bottle of gracious Jeannie (of 'I dream of Jeannie' tv show). However, this Fantasy its not sufficient good for my taste. Im not sure if i could to wear frequently this luscious dessert. And its rare case, because i love sweetness about everything...

White chocolate and Kiwi sounded very adorably sweet, but when I smelled it in the store I was a bit disappointed. It is a very average scent, I can't memorize it and I think that's because it is not characteristic. Anyway the strongest note was cucumber for me, even if it doesn't contain. If I want to smell like cucumber I don't purchase it, than I rub myself with a slab of cucumber. Fortunately the perfume isn't long-lasting. The bottle looks fabulous in photos but trashy in reality. I think this perfume was made for Britney's fan, who doesn't care anything just be Britney, but I don't know if she still has such fans...

Lasting power of fantasy is off the chain! It will stay on clothes after the wash and stays on coats for a loooooong time! If a fragrance lasting power is the problem than fantasy is the solution! This stuff is NO Joke! Smells sweet and fruity too!

This doen't smell anything like cotton candy.Pink sugar smells like cotton candy.Fantasy is it's own unique scent of sweet kiwi and musk.I don't smell any cupcake accord or white chocolate. It is a favorite but I don't agree with what everyone is smelling here.I have 3 bottles and they all smell the same so I don't know about the "cotton candy" thing unless cotton candy now smells like kiwi and musk?

This fragrance was my first introduction to gourmand scents. When I first smelt this, it was love at first sniff. It was unique, girly, deliciously sweet and intoxicatingly good.

When you first spray Fantasy you are met with a slightly sour burst of tropical kiwi fruit. This however, does not last long and eventually the fragrance warms into a soft vanilla cupcake served fresh from the oven.

My boyfriend quite often calls me 'cupcake' when I'm wearing Fantasy and although I wouldn't describe this fragrance as being sexy or seductive, it can be very inviting and playful. The bottle is also very cute and feminine, and looks absolutely fantastic on my dresser.

If there were ever a scent-olympics, Fantasy would win the lasting-strength marathon. I spray this on at 8 in the morning and I can still smell it later that night.

I have been known to wear this scent during the day and also out at night. I have even worn Fantasy on a few casual dates because it has the ability to create a somewhat romantic mood.

This is once again another exceptional fragrance from Miss Britney Spears.

I admit I was a little wary - I suffer from migraines so can't wear a lot of my favourites; including Angel by Thierry Mugler. Not so with FANTASY.


This opens with the sweetness of chocolate and cupcake, before settling with fruity scents of lychee, quince and kiwi.
The base note of vanilla lingers throughout making FANTASY a truly delicious classic in the making.

It smells very similar to Pink Sugar, but has a bit more fruity sweetness to it, and a bit more warmth in the drydown. It has good staying power. It's lasted about 6 hours so far, but is faint now.

Don't care if I like Britney or not, I like the sound of these notes! Red Lychee, Golden Quince, Kiwi, Cupcake Accord, Jasmine Petals, White Chocolate Orchid, Musk, Orris Root, Sensual Woods...I'm there! On my skin, it's light tingly fruits with airy florals and a deliciously light vanilla and musk. There's definitely the scent of fluffy cupcakes too, with white marshmallows melted over the top. The drydown is the same with just a hint of the zippy fruits. Very yummy and sniffable. This scent doesn't really break new ground, but it's not bad at all. Comparisons to Pink Sugar, which I love, well ya, it's kind of in the same family, but Pink Sugar is more 'out there' in strength and different with its blood orange, raspberry, caramel and anise. Fantasy is quieter and a little more comforting (despite the bright, sparkly bottle, which is pretty, in a gaudy way). Can't see myself buying it, not because it's Britney, if I'm head over heels for a scent, I'll buy it regardless of who's flogging it, but because I'm not quite fully there with loving it and I've got a few gourmand vanillas already in my repertoire. If you like gourmand vanillas though, give it a whirl. Lasting power and sillage are quite good too.

Well, after reading the many good reviews, and liking Pink Sugar, I thought that I must buy a big 3.4 oz tester bottle of this. It is more fruity than I hoped for. But the drydown is very womanly, sandalwoody, musky, ambery, so it is worth its money. It is lasting too, but if sprayed on clothes, it can't develop to its wonderful drydown. EDIT: I was mesmerized by te drydown, and found out, that it is because this has te similar woodsy-warm-sexy feel like Crystal Noirs drydown. I can say, that this kind of drydown is the most amazing in perfumes, for me. Think on that: you have your perfume on, and you take a hot shower, and under the
hot water the rest of the fragrance lingers out its ambery-sandalwoody-deep base notes. This is a "wow" for me.

I bought a set with this,curious & midnight Fantasy in it before Christmas & after testing them I ended up taking it back.
Shortly after that I got a sample of this in a mixed lot of samples I bought online & this time around it smells much better to me.
It's fun Flirty,& yummy.
I get berry,vanilla sweetness.More berry then vanilla but not sharp & sickening.It actually reminds me a lot o Hanae Mori perfume.
Granted it isn't for everyone but if you like to smell yummy you'll like this one ;)

That's what happens when you support Britney so strong. Your dad brings you her perfume from the airport although you are already 25 years and try to play ti cool. But alhtough I snobbed it at the beginning and despite the fact that it is indeed a girlish fragrance, it not bad nor too simple or silly. It is a very interesting compination of fruity with sweet notes which can instantly cheer you up without being too 'bubblegummy'. Although it is not my type -that is oriental- I think I may wear it in the summer.

Another good scent. Very fun and sweet, but it doesn't remind me of these teenish light and sweet alike scents with no staying power. This is sweet like fruits are sweet. Also it is deep fragrance with pleasant staying power. I can feel notes of somewhat I think coffee is. Bottle is interesting- pink and somehow don't look cheap. I really regret that I still don't have it (and other) yet.

I heart fantasy as well as others. I love the yellow cake smell it has. It's is so Delicious and I don't think I will ever tire of it. Spritz it on when I'm casualy dressed as well. Cotton Candy with a twist of Sexy, just like Britney herself. Love the pink bottle as well. Wish it lasted a little longer on my wrist. Good on neck but already faded off wrist.

This is definitely a teen scent. I went through three large bottles of it in high school, because I loved the sweetness and it made me feel desirable and sexy. My peers loved it, and likened it to cotton candy and grapefruit. My parents, however, hated it. The top notes are can be a bit overwhelming if you're not in the mood for something intensely sharp and sweet, but the heart and base notes are mostly just soft and sweet.

The bottles are so cute that they still sit on my desk :-)

Oh so sweet and delicious. I love all of Britneys perfumes, except I don't have curious heart or in control. I am planning on getting in control but as far as curious heart goes, I don't like the bottle, it looks like a perfume for a 5 year old. I think she could have done way better with the design. Fantasy is so yummy delicious and fruity and so far this ones my favorite out of all her others. I can't really say which ones I like more...Jlos or Britneys fragrances, to me they're all good. I think if you want a really sweet, bubbly young fragrance you go to Britneys and if you want sexy, sweet and exotic and a little more grownup type of scent then you go to Jlos.

Firstly I though - This perfume is too sweet and strong! But later I felt in love with Fantasy! It's like yummy candy cocktail, I feel white chocolate and jasminum, red friut and it's amazing. I love this fragrance. It is fun, carefree, deep, and in a weird way clean (the musk). Another plus is the bottle is very cute. This has definitely become a staple for me.
Edit- OK, I am completely in LOVE with Fantasy. This is by far the best gourmand fragrance IMO. If you are iffy (as I was), get a sample or buy a mini and wear it for a little while- it is simply divine. I could see how just smelling this from the bottle could just be so-so, but its not, I promise. Elizabeth Arden has done amazing job with the Britney Spears line. Even if you could care less about her... give the fragrances a try :)

Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you like sweeter fragrances this is very good. It's a bit overwhelming on the sweet, but as it goes on the smell stays the same so you know what to expect from it. I only recommend it to those who like fruity florals, because people with 'darker' tastes will hate it. But, if you like a fun little fragrance, this is for you.

This is without a doubt Britney's best fragrance. The smell is so sweet and innocent, it instantly makes you feel young and independant. Wearing this perfume I have recieved many "You smell so nice" comments so this perfume is perfect for anyone who wants to feel flirty and cheerful.

When first sampling Fantasy EDP, I could instantly smell yellow cake with thick sweet white icing- yummy! After you wear Fantasy for awhile the sweet yellow cake smell subsides and it smells a bit like lightly scented talcum powder (orris roots), with a touch of white chocolate.

Surprisingly, my husband commented that I smelled very nice when wearing Fantasy. Note, that this was after wearing Fantasy for 2 hours, so this has good lasting power and sillage. The lasting power of the EDP is good, about 8-10 hours.

The bottle design of Fantasy isn't any worse than many I've saw lately. It reminds me of one of those pointy hats that princesses wear in old fairy tale book illustrations. Not great, but not bad!

Upon further testing of Fantasy, I've gotten many compliments on how wonderful I smell. I would repurchase again, as I reach for Fantasy a lot. And it smells great on clothes.

This fragrance is nicely done. I think this is Spears best fragrance. It is sweet, but balanced. A 30 or 40 something could pull this one off by wearing a nice cozy sweater and a comfortable pair of jeans. I like to wear it while staying in on cold winter nights dressed in a comfy sleep shirt and snuggled in my soft plush robe.
