Oh , fickle Fantasy! This seems to be a love it or hate it fragrance. I could not tolerate it on a friend of mine : it smelled like sour wine gums full of sacharine and tart berries. But lo and behold, this takes a totally different tangent on me! The tartness becomes smooth and rich, the berries become more defined- cherries and plum are seemingly loved by my skin! They waft around me all day , delecting my senses while the mysterious orchid note plays around , mellowing the fruit. I am startled by the reviews! The great thing is that no one recognizes this deep yet juicy perfume on me! When I wear this lovely, I am so often asked if I am sporting Euphoria!!!! Chemistry in magical motion, I guess! As for the age issue: I see nothing childish or immature in this perfume. Whoever says no one above the age of 16 should wear this is should perhaps review their knolwedge of perfumery and chemistry : that is what makes the whole difference. What smells like Barbie dolls on some, might just smell like rich vanillic fruit on others. For those of you who love your berries, cherries and all things yummy: please give this beautiful flacon and frag a chance without being biased by those who get only plastic(???). On me , there is NONE! It is long lasting, has lovely sillage and puts me in great spirits. Try it... you might love it! I do! (and I am into Guerlain, Lolita Lempika, Jean Paul Gauthier and Thierry Mugler. Just goes to show you that a fragrance is revealed by the wearer, not the flacon nor age groups or gender!! xxx

Smells like pie or fruit cake. I like the smell but not on my skin, as a perfume.

Well this one is instantly recognizable on others if you are in any way familiar with it. There is unmistakable dark fruit berry scent, the plum and cherry hit you in the face as soon as it's sprayed, this is layered on top of a sweet base. Wedged in there determinedly on a permanent basis is an overwhelming plasticky/sicky note. This plastic feel is inescapable from first blast to dry down, it makes the scent somewhat suffocating, like your trapped in a room with it with no air circulation.

Too me this sweet plastic scent ruins the whole experience, perhaps it's just my chemistry that brings out this horror of a note. I so want to love this perfume but every time I try it it turns my stomach. It's such a shame cos the dark fruits and sweetness are intoxicating and I can well imagine this perfume to be very addictive.

Lasting power and silage are phenomenal! On the very late dry down, about 12 or so hours after spraying it it becomes a waft of sweetness with the fruits ever present, no plastic note and this is the stage I really like. Unfortunately at this stage the perfume has all but gone. Oh 'Midnight Fantasy' why do you hate me??? I want us to be friends!!! Maybe it's just my nose but I'm starting to think I will never really get on with MF :(. oh Maybe I will try it again, just once more.........

I like to wear this scent at night. When I go to shows mostly. But on occasion I wear it during the day. I like sweet scents, my chemistry does well with them.

Midnight Fantasy was love at first sight and sniff for me. It replaced my previous signature (Escada's Moon Sparkle), that's how much I loved it. It was my companion during so many nights and so many adventures and experiences. "Magic begins at midnight"... It's a special fruity/berry and sweet scent. I think it's not as direct and out there as Fantasy is, I'd say it's more subtle but yet very present. I think it's best for nighttime occasions.

The first time I tried it I found it too sweet and cloying. I tried it a few times more and I started liking it. It smells very sweet and tart at the same time. I tend to wear it when is cold outside because if I wear it during the summer I might faint. I love the bottle and the perfume is very long lasting. Although I like it, I have to be in the mood to wear it.

The first time I tried this, I found it childish. It actually reminded me of this line of Barbies that came out when I was a kid that came with perfumes, only it's obviously stronger and longer lasting. It has grown on me, and today I didn't get that initial synthetic blast. It does have more depth and maturity than I originally gave it credit for. The creaminess still translates to berry-scented lotion on my skin from start to finish, if lotion had the longevity of an EDP.

Extremely syrup-y...like berry syrup made in China. Super synthetic and artificial, but for some reason, it's still a yummy scent. I guess it just feels teeny bopperish.

I wanted to like this EDP after reading some reviews and Allure's article regarding inexpensive scents that were surprisingly good quality . I ordered a small bottle. It is just awful on me. It reminds me of teen girls spritzing themselves with assorted berry synthetic body sprays with reckless abandon in a smoke filled high school bathroom. Really. That is how it smells on me. I would be curious though to see if it fares better on someone else. My daughter is coming home soon and I will try it out on her.

This is a great fragrance! it's freshly fruity, and i got a hint of cherries. It doesn't seems so strong for me, and i feel a powdery vanilla dry down.

Midnight Fantasy surprised me. I was expecting this awful perfumery note i get in the drydown of many celebrity perfumes. But i don't find it here. MF is sweet and fruity i get mostly cherry] which - here another surprise is not artificial like it happens with many perfumes containing that fruit. I also find here red and black berries freshly picked up in the wood. After Circus Fantasy this is really wearable and pleasant for my nose. Lasting power and sillage amazing. In one word: this is scent full of surprises.

A delightful discovery. A blind buy which is so much like one of my favourites Nirmala by Molinard. A strong scent which reveals layers of interesting florals over time and hours after wearing a delicious light sweet scent remains on my skin. A true delight!

Midnight Fantasy, my guilty pleasure. Plums, cherries and berries...juicy, thick, full bodied, deep, jammy...stewed and sugared...very berry sweet, but with the perfect amount of sour. A dollop of smooth vanilla amber cream in there too. Wearable in summer nights, not too heavy on the 'cream', unlike pink Fantasy which is strictly for cooler weather (imo). Really scrumptious, it makes my mouth water. I mainly wear for my own pleasure, though it makes a great scent for clubbing.

I'm going to come right out and say it. This is my absolute favourite perfume and I will probably re-purchase it!!!! Something I have never done before with a perfume....

I already have Fantasy by Britney Spears, and I buy it perfumes also..Woooww it so wonderful. I really love this scent. This perfumes so sweet and sexy!. Suitable to wear at night and date!. LOng lasting also. I suggest this perfumes if you love sweet and sexy perfumes. You must have it perfume!

This baby went from a 'hate' to 'tolerable' to 'like' to 'LOVE'!! This is the first time I've had this experience with a fragrance, I've even left a negative review below over a year ago talking about how synthetic and overwhelmingly sweet + 'air freshener-like' I had found this scent. Nowadays I'm quite addicted to it. Finally I'm understanding the rave reviews here, it took some time, but YUM! I get the sweet, juicy, intense dark fruits this time with an underlying creamy vanilla incense...the freesia is the magical note that ties in everything together, cuts down the warmth and intense sweetness, and gives it more of a clean, cool edge...sort of like a cool sugary fog of juicy purple fruits, yup, that's exactly it. This is now my favorite Fantasy. I wouldn't wear it around people I've just met, and not something I'd wear during the day, it smells best on summer nights and equally delish on cold winter nights...this is one to wear when I'm around people I know and love, letting my hair down, having fun!! Best applied after a shower on a clean body, I get a sticky feeling if I were to spray this on after a long day. Tip: I love to add a little creaminess so my favorite way to wear MF is layered over Vanilla scented lotion, another important tip is to never ever overspray, I stick to 4 sprays or less, anymore and you will turn yourself into berry-scented air-freshener.

I love MF it is delicious and mysterious from the opening till the dry down. Makes me happy and put me in a great mood. Long lasting with great sillage will repurchase again it is addiction.

Midnight Fantasy is my opinion is very likeable as it has a lot of qualities it's got something for everyone to like it has strong floral notes, fruity notes, wood notes (that come across as quite nutty) and sweet undertones I wouldn't say this is a gourmand fragrance but more fruity due to the cherry. The lasting power is very impressive for a fragrance lasting up to 12-15hours depending on your skin and the silage of this fragrance is also impressive as it is a room filler you could smell it the minute someone walks into a room also I would not recommended this fragrance for daytime/casual use as it is quite heavy and would just be too strong to suit daily requirements overall very pleasant, unique, and durable 9/10

Not what I'd call a natural scent to fit with the warm blooded bodies of us humans but nice if you're playful by nature and like to smell like sweet soda.
Nice scent but very cheap smelling and just not for my taste. One to their own.

Midnight Fantasy is so yummy, sweet and delicious!

It smells like a blueberry muffin with vanilla ice cream and a juicy cherry on top. This is definitely my second favourite Britney perfume. I received many compliments wearing this. It's long lasting and quite heavy sillage so I recommend a maximum of three sprays.

Overall, a deliciously sweet and fruity perfume that will gain you many compliments. I highly recommend to sweet/fruity gourmand lovers!

With a name like Midnight Fantasy, I expected this to be like Fantasy's sophisticated older sitter, but it's quite girly and smells more like berry scented lotion than a perfume. I guess if you're dancing the night away, there's something to be said for a fragrance that won't overwhelm. Good for work, too, if your coworkers have sensitive noses. It's deceptively light and can become cloying if applied too heavily. It has impressive staying power, and there's also not much of a difference in scent between the initial spray and dry down. Berry lotion from start to finish.

I was expecting something really gourmand, but that's not what MF is to my nose.

It starts with synthetic berries - mostly blue, but I also detect some blackberries and raspberries. The syntheticness is not a bad thing per se; I think it has its (somewhat childish) charms. It just smells more like powdery candy than actual fresh berries.

What surprised me about MF is that instead of the berries being the frosting on a deep and heavy cupcake, vanilla-ish base, this turns into more of a berry-scented laundry detergent. The base of this is more soapy than gourmand. Personally I love 'clean' soap-like scents, so it's no problem, but I was expecting something quite different. It took me a while to warm up to MF. All in all, this is not really my thing, but I find myself reaching for it often enough to keep it.

Longevity is seriously lacking though. Circus and Hidden Fantasy both last way longer on my skin than Midnight! Weird.

A very rich, warm smell of berries, perfect for the cold winter months. Such a lovely perfume with amazing staying power. It lasts up to 2 days on my clothes which is pretty amazing.

Can be very cloying and unnattractive if you spray too much though, so one spray is more than enough for the whole day.

Of all her fragrances, this one is the best one as far as smell, longevity and sillage! :-)

Another blind buy for me, and instantly regretted it. All I smell is super synthetic blueberries, and not in a pleasant way. Tacky and cheap smelling. Something I would imagine a doll from Walmart would smell like.

This will collect dust in my closet, unless I can find somebody to pawn it off on. Don't mean to offend anybody, just not for me.

If you're looking for juicy cherries or plum, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. These cherries and plums are very fizzy and powdery, and in my honest opinion -- sickeningly sweet. I ended up giving away my Midnight Fantasy, simply because the scent reminded me of these small, white dents that contained fluorine that us kids used to eat when we were small (supposedly, they were good for your teeth.)

It was simply too dry for my taste, like drinking extra dry cider. Not even a comforting or a clean dryness, just a strange and syrupy one.

This was good when I tried it, except one note in it kind of bothered me. I couldn't put my finger on it.

Quite a pleasant scent. Fruity sweet floral; cherries and orchids. Also, has that fizzy grape note which is a plus! Fresh body wash comparison too. Light and wearable anywhere. Great for hot summer days out shopping, promenading and even beach.

Smells nice, I sprayed it on my wrist and it hit the sleeve of my jacket. The jacket still smells about 2 days later, so it's good for longevity.
HOWEVER it was one of the very few sweet fragrances that actually gave me a headache (for reference I like Pink Sugar and original Fantasy no problems).
Overall a nice blueberry-plum-candy grape-drink smell.

I bought MF and original Fantasy at the same time. I instantly liked Fantasy but Midnight Fantast nearly ended up sold. But I kept it, I gave it another chance I now I like this fruity opening. It's really nice, makes me smile.
It's my everyday perfume, dead cheap with a decent lasting power and moderate sillage. I'm not a teenager but I don't feel I'm too old for this. I just enjoy wearing it to work, brightens up my day with it's sillyness :)

Since I own Britney Fantasy and loved it, this was the best next stop. This is a very sugary blast of blue berries and cherries. Surprisingly, I have been smelling this scent for years on other people and never knew it, to me this smelt more like strawberries and cream!

I first smelled this on my friend and it smelled lovely,she bought me a bottle and yuck,far to synthetic smelling on me reminded me of boots dewberry body spray which i used to douse myself in when i was 10 :-)

This is a very sweet perfume. I wore this a lot in the 8th and 9th grade. It's another scent I would not reccommend for anyone in their mid 20s or older. But it is very nice. It has a very strong berry and sugar smell. Not at all for night like the name would suggest.

I haven't tried any of her other perfumes so I cannot compare however, I was pleasantly surprised with this scent. It's not overpowering but it is very girly. :-)

Remember the Strawberry Shortcake line of dolls that were so popular in the early 80's? Well this perfume smells just like the Blueberry Muffin doll!!! At first sniff, that's the very first thing that popped into my head. This scent is soft and brings to mind a nice juicy blueberry. As far as fruity fragrances go, I feel like this is one of the best you'll find. Such a pleasant and happy smell. Guaranteed to cheer you up. I also love the bottle. This one's a winner!

I want to start off by saying, I do love this perfume.
Its vibrant, soft and sexy all at the same time, BUT at first when I spray on me its very synthetic and alcoholish. Develops into the sweet sweet blueberries and then into the nutty, musky, vanilla sensual part, which is how it stays.

I see it on sale all the time these days so it was a really good buy, and it smells different to anything I have.
So I am more than satisfied, I find myself reaching for it a lot, as a pick me up :)

I tried to write review on this for so long and…simply couldn’t.
I'm lacking of words to describe how much I love Midnight Fantasy. It is one of the VERY few perfumes I'm ready to repurchase over and over again. I would proudly make it my signature till forever if it wasn't that popular. But it's also big plus, if this fragrance has managed to steal so many souls...it does prove its greatness.
Not only commercial idea in the magic night forest clearly describes this perfume, but the dark blue bottle spangled with diamonds, shining like magical moonlight, does it too.

As soon as the clock strikes midnight, at first sight ordinary forest becomes magical. The moon comes out misty clouds and casts its glow on damp thick foliage, causing the droplets on its leaves resemble pearls.
The silence is breaking by the sounds of crickets and croaking frogs in the small pond.
Thousands of golden glowworms are flying all over, illuminating the forest.
Suddenly forest is shrouded by deep fog which is oddly similar to hookah smoke not only by the look but by the smell too. Fog mingles with the scent of plum trees covered with purple-blue overripe plums that bend branches because of their weight. Then it wraps itself around the tree with huge sugary-sweet black cherries, many of which have already fallen down.
White orchids and purple velvety iris buds open slowly, osculating marvelous night fog and giving their delicate flavor to it without reserve.
Tiny winged fairies appear in the opened flower buds. Twinkling with their nacreous thin wings they laughingly fuzz away that very moment.
Mystic fog sneaks further into the forest absorbing all kinds of flavors, existing in this magical place and after bringing all pieces together it… forms a feminine silhouette.

Luxurious black orchid that blooms only at midnight is flashing in her hair. It is her fairy crown which contains the most precious drop of smell.

Her fragrance lulls all flesh that dares to appear in her mystic forest. She is always accompanied by a retinue of small winged fairies, who scatter right in the air sparkling vanilla dust under the feet of their mistress.

I bought this yesterday as a blind buy from Ross. Being a Britney, I was a little worried, but both the price and the scent did not disappoint.

I'd call it a purple scent, smelling mostly of the black fruits and berries. Not as sweet as I would have expected, more fruit than vanilla or candy. I dont smell the flowers on me till the next day, after the fruits have evaporated.

If you like Dark Kiss by BBW you will like this, it is very similar and a good dupe. I will probably wear it layered with the lotion. Will go in my summer line up, and as an FYI, the sillage on me was over 12 hours/overnight.

It was almost too intense for me for the first hour or so, but I must have smelled good to others because my brother wanted to know what I was wearing so he could buy a bottle for his girlfriend!

I got a sample of this today and tried it on my skin. I was surprised because to me this doesn't smell as sweet as some people are saying. I actually get a sour fruity, powdery scent. Contrary to the name midnight fantasy this smells much more like a day time scent to me...well at least during winter months.
Even though I said it smells kinda sour...it's not gross...it's good...what I mean is that it smells like sour tasting fruit...not sweet fruit. Yes I do get blueberries like many others are saying. This is not a playful cute fragrance like aquolina pink sugar...to me. This is more of a mysterious scent. I see a lady (any age) dressed in black, deep blue, or lavender...or even white...not red or pink, yellow, or orange...because this doesn't smell wild and loud to me...even though it's fruity it smells very calm.....but ohhh...soooooo good.
For the price...I think every girl should have this. I'm impressed Britney....but I'm not surprised and although so many people make fun of you , I like your style girl..plus I heard that you were the highest paid celebrity of 2012 and you don't even need to try that hard. Keep it up girl!
UPDATE: so after having this on for a while it is sooooo much better. It's very SEXY and Fresh! ! I think this is going to become my winter signature scent, no joke, it's that good! Wow...cheaper fragrances really can be better....I now have 2 favorites, Aquolina pink sugar and Britney Spears midnight fantasy!!!! Yummy! =)

I caved in and bought this one very cheaply after sniffing it a few times and just fancying something jolly and sweet. This certainly fills the criteria when I don't want to smell anything moody, deep or unique and my husband loves it 'mmm you smell like fruit gums...' My L'Heure Bleue et al don't get any compliments so I'm happy with it even though I still refer to my old review, in that this does remind me of Violet Beauregard in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I'm ready for the juicing room and think I just might be turning a little purple..!

I am really impressed by this perfume. It came in the post yesterday and I got a 30ml bottle. It had a beautiful dark blue box like an enchanted forest, I then opened it up and it was a gorgeous Indigo colour with little crystals on.
I sprayed one squirt on my wrist and immediately I loved it. I own Fantasy and found it a bit harsh and synthetic first spray. This is fruity and sweet but grown up.
It lasts a long time also without being to heavy I sprayed it before working out and it stayed on all night.
I like this better than Fantasy, and think this a great perfume for the price. A must have for any perfume collection.

My son loves this perfume, and it's no wonder because it smells just like Capt Crunch cereal for some strange reason. Definitely a strong fruity candy smell. Love the scent on it's own but I do not wish to smell like a fruity cereal. Since kids seem to like it though, I would think it would be a perfect first fragrance for a young girl.

I am loving this perfume all over again! I have a tiny bit left in my bottle and decided to use it up until I realized how much I've missed it and how much I actually love this! I usually dont really go for celebrity perfumes but the Britney Spears line really surprised me. My favorite one of all is definitely Midnight Fantasy.

To me the scent is very sweet and youthful. Its very fruity and the notes that I get the most from this are sweet plums, sweet cherries and vanilla throughout. I dont really get any florals as they seem to be overpowered by the fruity notes. This scent just makes me feel so girly and happy. Its definitely a very distinctive fragrance and people seem to really like this scent as I've received many compliments every time I wear this.

The longevity is surprisingly good on me. It lasts for about 4 hours and longer when it is sprayed on clothing. I can easily wear this in the day as well as night time. Even though many find this a girly scent I somehow also think that there is something mysterious and dark about it. I dont know maybe its just because the word 'Midnight' is used and the bottle is dark blue. Overall I will definitely purchase a new bottle once I've finished mine.

I got this and Fantasy both for Christmas and they're both my favorite perfumes that I have ever had! They both have a sweet and yummy semll! You can't resist them! I will definitely be buying these two fragrances again! I give both perfumes a 20/10 rating!

This one is the most sophisticated and by far the best. It's like she suddenly grew up. It doesn't smell like "Oops I did it again" Girly Britney... it's more like "Toxic" or "Slave 4U" Britney. It smells sooo juicy and delicious, I want to lick myself! ha! and there's no headachy strong alcoholicness...

I'm really impressed actually! I definitely want this for the summer of '13 as an alternative to my lovely Live Lux :D.

its really good if you dont mind the strength it has. it has a cheap scent to it. although its the best part for me it might set you off.

My 2nd fave Britney scent. Very fruity yet sweet. lasts for hours and the dry down is very vanilary and musk. Have purchased this several times now and will always come back to it as it makes me feel great.

how many perfumes has Britney come out with? like ten? Anyway this is really nice and at first i can really pick up the blueberries and then the floral, its really lovely, but Fantasy and Curious are still my favorites from her, until i try out the rest of her range at least.

There's something rather addictive about this scent.

I'm getting a warm, powdery amber base, with a rich sweet raspberry settling on top. There's an interesting sharp citrus tang to it too.

I'd say on me this is a pretty close scent, projection isn't great, nor is staying power. However, it's a cheap perfume so reapplying isn't a problem.

I had to look in the mirror to see if Carmen Miranda's hat had sprouted from the top of my head. You remember Carmen Miranda, the golden age Hollywood star from Brazil that sang, danced and wore a gigantic fruit cornucopia hat? Fruity tooty! sweet and fruity, opens with plum, plum and more plum, segues into cherries and kind of a mixed berry jelly smell, like in those little square plastic jelly containers.

I purchased this blind on the strength of reviews and recommendations from Fragranticans for whom I have a lot of respect. I have no complaints, really, it was ridiculously cheap, a boxed gift set with lotion and 100 ml EDP for 15 USD. And I want to emphasize that we are all different, different chemistry, etc., so it isn't personal to me. I could just as easily have tried out a non-celeb scent and found it didn't work on me.

On me, this is too sweet, too fruity, too linear, too plummy, too berryish, too too! I have to say, I was shocked at how much I dislike this. I like the bottle. Floral notes are overwhelmed by fruit notes, leaving a vague scent similar to a mixed floral bouquet.
I kept waiting for the fruit to mellow with the Drydown, but the fruit and sweetness persist right through the Drydown. the silage, projection and longevity are all great, for better or worse.

I find it on sale so I gave it a try. When I first sprayed i was like auch..to strong but then it became so fruity sweet with something mystic deep inside. It is true that you don´t have have to wear a lot of it. I recieved many compliments about it. It makes you feel confident and charming. I am wearing it also during the day in winter it brings me a warm feeling.

Iv'e had this fragrance for awhile now and still love it <3! Has that mysterious aroma and good for a dressy night out and two sprays on the neck lasts for long periods of time !

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews of this particular fragrance. I got it today, and I adore it. Perhaps it just didn’t work with the chemistries of those that didn’t care for it. I also don’t understand some of the other reviewers referring to the scent as “sour,” as it is anything but. There is no grape in this, but perhaps the plum note is being mistaken as grape. This is very sweet, like a bowl of fresh berries, bursting with juice. The main berry that I pick up here is raspberry (framboise.) This retains its fruitiness, but at the same time develops a sweetness that I accredit to the black cherry, plum and vanilla. I don’t pick up the floral notes that are listed, but that is fine by me, as I don’t much care for floral scents. The fragrance is both tart and sweet simultaneously, and I believe that it would be suitable for daytime wear as well. I was unsure about buying this perfume, because all the negative reviews.. but then, I smelled it in someone else on the street, and I couldn't help it and had to ask about it.. for my surprise, she told me it was Midnight Fantasy, so, I got as fast as I could my own bottle.. and now I just love it! I really really like it!!!! sometimes people around me always ask me what I'm wearing... It's simply delicious, great at night, even for daytime but then I use it in small amounts because it is a little bit strong and perhaps too fruity and sweet for small places. Maybe it's just that is good in my skin... I don't know, I think this is a great scent. Fruity, sweet, playful and fun! I can't stop smelling my skin, or my clothes. I'm not a teen, but although I'm 30, I feel happy and sexy with this juvenile perfume on me. :)

I loved this perfume when I first recieved it... it had a deep, chocolate and blueberry scent that was so different and enticing. I guess my body chemistry somehow changed within the last year... I'm still on the same bottle, but now it smells powdery and soapy to me. Maybe the perfume changes in the bottle that quickly.. in any case, I'd be careful when purchasing.

To be honest I was skeemish on trying celebrity perfumes. But I was on a lookout for that perfect flirty scent that guys would like, and I would like as well.

Most foody/fruity scents give me terrible headaches (aquolina pink sugar and its flankers, fancy, etc) too much sugar. CLOYING.

This however was just the right amount of sweetness. The initial spray; It reminds me of berry tarts, grapes, bubblegum, lemons.
It doesnt evolve much, but after a while it dries down to a nice soft cherry, blueberry, bubblegum, but warmer, softer, with a slight whiff of musk and amber, and the smallest touch of vanilla making it a bit more classy than what you expect.

It's my first time to sniff my wrists over and over because it's so yummy, it's a delight to smell. It makes you smell delicious, maybe that's why men like this fragrance, they dont care if its cheap or expensive. They want their women to smell like they want to taste.

i love this. i think this is my most favorite from BS. just sweet long lasting berry fun. especially blueberry. it's very much a cheer-me-up perfume. i'm very happy with it and the bottle is also pretty.

I was expecting to smell skittles in a bottle but this sure smells alot fancier then a bag of rainbow colored candy, the opening is a deep burst of cherry and plums but dries down into a beautiful floral vanilla! perfect for the nighttime of course! Id wear this for nightclubs, concerts, or just when i feel like it lol ig you like cherry/vanilla scents, get this! you wont be sorry

Mmmm this is so awesome, I love the plum and vanilla combination, never had a plum based perfume before! I like (and have) almost all Britney perfumes, this is definitely one of the best ones, along with the original Fantasy. Perfect for a lovely fall night :))

O MY! Words cannot express just how good this smells to me! I had this long ago just like I did with the original fantasy and didn't really use it! CRAZY ME! How could I never like this being such a sweet lover as I am? Could it be that I'm starting to like this a tad more than the original? Nah I like them both same! Time to go get another bottle!

My personal favourite of the 4 fantasy perfumes, in fact ALL of Britney's perfumes.

I would go so far as to say this is the sweetest of the bunch. A lovely candylike combination of plum and cherry stays throughout the entire experience, and it feels like berries even though it hasn't got any kind of berry in it.
This one is also VERY strong and could be quite cloying if oversprayed. I've smelled this on people in summer and it just smells too sticky, still a lovely smell but a bit suffocating.

Once it dries the vanilla comes pounding forward and the amber/iris combo gives this a slight fluffiness/ powderyness.

It's SO sweet and smells like something I'd like to drink. I can see why people think it smells like blueberries, it definitley has that vibe. It's fun, girly..fruity and a bit fluffy.

It's a winner in my opinion!

I LOVE this scent. I've been sniffing all around looking for a sweet blueberry smell-- I think it's everything I've been looking for, who knew that Britney Spears would give it to me? On me, it smells like these creamy blueberry lollipops that I can't seem to find anywhere anymore (sad). I don't smell any sour cherry at all, and the sillage and lasting power is incredible.

It's really fantastic, I want to wear it nonstop no matter the time of day or season. I see now that they're releasing it with the original Fantasy which I already own. I can't really imagine that combo working together though.

Nonetheless, TRY this scent! It's really great :)

The opening note is pure grape juice, then a few seconds later this sweet scent turns a little bit more sour and bitter in a good way :) The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it's very soft on my skin.

I think this is too sweet, it gives me a heachache, and it doesn't change smell, i wouldn't buy this...

This is TOO SWEET, it gave me a headache. the day i got it as a gift, i put it on and got on the car with my brother and he made me get out of the car and wash it out. i have smelled this on a coworker and it smells very dirty and sweaty on her skin.

My signature scent, that and fantasy. has been since I was 16 and I'm now 21 (almost 22). I can smell plum, vanilla, cherry and orchid. Will continue to wear it for a long time to come. I've switched perfumes over years to add variety, but I always come back to Spears' Fantasy range xx

Bought this yesterday, lovely warm smell of cherry, plums and black currants. Very fruity. Sprayed it on this morning think i put too much on makes my nose and throat a little irritated, hope i will get on with it, as i like the smell and bought a big bottle. Will put on less next time

This perfume is very very sweet but i love it. It smells like sguar plums to me. If you dont likr sweet berry syrupy scents this is not for you. To me it smells exactly like a discontinued victorias secret body splash called wink wink that is blackberry and sparkling violet. Except fantasy has better staying power and within fifteen min fantasy mellows down from the sickeningly sweet sugar plums to a nice light fun cherry raspberry with a hint of musk. You learn to love it.

gf wears this with fantasy....love it! i love the smell of my pillow and miss her smell often. i think they discontinued midnight but just came out with fantasy twist in oct 2012 which is fantasy and midnight together. awesome perfume, not a fan of britney but this stuff is really good. 9/10

Midnight Fantasy is a very, very sweet scent. When smelling it from the bottle, the scent comes off as less heavier than it actually is. However, upon the firs application, the scent is much too strong and sweet smelling for me. However, after about 15 minutes, it is absorbed by the skin and it doesn't smell as strong and gives this really fruity, unexplainable scent which I simply adore! The scent is not only fruity and sweet but there's a certain air of musk, in a fruity way, about it which makes the scent a lot more likeable and adds mystery to the scent.

I already loved Fantasy, but this one is something wonderful! I received the fantasy twist perfumes and i'm in love with midnight fantasy, it's one of my favorites for sure..

Okay, so obviously I, like many people have had a lot of experience with this ever so popular fragrance. But I have never owned my own bottle. However, now I can proudly say I am the owner of a 50ml bottle of Midnight Fantasy that I bought today. So this bottle is one of my all time favourites, the mysteriousness of it, and when you hold it up to the light...wow. The fragrance itself, is explosive. I have to say, this is the sweetest perfume I have ever smelt in my entire life. I don't want to sound like I'm an amateur in the fragrance world to say I smell something that isn't actually in the scent, but I always think of berries whenever I smell this. In my opinion, it really does smell like berries. Anyway, the scent doesn't have much depth or variation. What you smell at the beginning, is how you'll smell at the end. It doesn't change noticeably. It lasts forever, a good 7-12 hours, which is a plus for the affordable price. The sillage is also incredible. People can smell it from metres away and it radiates around a room. Not good, I have to say. But overall, for what it is, I definitely think highly of this scent and it is a must have for teenagers who want to go out at night and have fun!

The comment about this being like grape Hubba Bubba bubblegum is pretty accurate. Very juicy berries, sweet and uncomplicated.

Is it sophisticated --- no, but does it need to be? I certainly was not expecting a cerebral frangrance. I have a high stress, legal career and I wouldn't wear it to work, but it is a fun little scent.

I literally spent $12 on it, and it will be great on a hot vacation I have booked for this winter --- and if it breaks or gets left there, I don't mind.

It lasts a good 6-8 hours and has pleasant sillage, meaning people near me can smell it, but I am not filling up the room.

I own niche fragrances, vintage fumes, designer delights and celebrity scents --- I think anything goes as long as you enjoy it!!! This one is pure unadulterated fun!!! Perfume does not always have to be serious.

I absolutely abhor this fragrance.
I tried it in highschool and didn't like it but couldn't remember why so in late 2010 I tried it again at kohls with one of my exes. I sprayed it, the sour plums and smell of choke cherries smelled like disgusting pancake syrup, but I put in my coat pocket because I wanted to give a chance to develop.
While we were shopping the strip I sprayed was projecting so hard I was pratically gagging. I said a thought out loud...Jesus fuck, who is wearing that horrible perfume...it smells like rancid grape soda. He just pointed at my coat pocket and kept a straight face LOL. I threw out the tester strip but my coat was still tainted with the smell of radioactive cough syrup.

In short, AMAZING projection and sillage, just make sure you love it first. Because put on two sprays of that and it will be ALL you are smelling for at least 8 hours.

I don't know why but this scent reminds me of blueberries. The first thing that you smell when you apply this fragrance the first thing that comes to mind is blueberries, well at least my mind but notice this it does not have blueberries. I have idea why fragrantica users are saying its childish.

Midnight Fantasy. What can I say? It's my favorite perfume and my signature scent for Fall/Winter. And night time. It's been worn so many times through great life events for me so it's a special fragrance to me besides being my favorite. Even though it's my favorite and I love it so much. I have to be considerate to others and know it's a night time fragrance. And it's too heavy for the spring and summer.. But even spring and summer have nightfall eventually. ;)

Besides the unique warm scent of a sophisticated sweet/sour fruit blueberries, plum and dark cherries. Which are my favorite fruits. It's just so lovely and original.

Happens to be the first fragrance my boyfriend ever smelt on me, when I met him and it now is contentiously sprayed on a perfume locket hanging in his room.

And my favorite color of blue is Cobalt. And this is very similar to it. Which is a huge plus and the bottle is beautiful.

Oh what a hell, I'm 35 and I love this. It's a very well-put-together scent. Everything is just right - fruity, but not "fruit death", sweet, but not suffocating, warm, but not overwhelming. While I would prefer something more sophisticated for a big night out, I wear it on get-togethers with friends and my quiet moments -) Boyfriend loves it more than my more "advanced" scents. Go figure.

This is a sweet innocent and sexy perfume that i used to wear at uni 4 or 5 years and i was being asked everyday of what i was wearing!! guys loved it more than girls did !! i remember that i had a friend who shared a class with me and used to sit right behind me just to smell it...very nice and suitable for girls from 15 maybe till 40 i guess or maybe less since ladies after 30 or 35 tend to wear a diff kind of sexy perfume..

This is super gourmand, grape Hubba Bubba in a bottle. It also smells exactly like grape 'mu'assel' (used for sheesha). More 'juvenile' than the original Fantasy, but I prefer the term 'whimsical' instead. I used to hate it for that reason, but now I can appreciate it for what it is. Very strong. This sweet-sour scent makes me hungry! I can see how this could be a hit or miss with many, it is so blatantly 'grape bubblegum' with supreme sillage. My sister commented that it smells like air-freshener when I wore it, and tbh I do get that in MF as well. Still, a yummy addition to my collection. Fantastic for a fun night out or whenever you don't need to take yourself seriously. Oh, I like to mix it with Can Can, they smell great together, it adds a soft creamy aspect to MF, and some double yum.

i tryed it once, and quicly i thought of strawberry or tutty fruty flavoured bubble gum. maybe i'm wrong, but that's what i did smell. Nice bottle.

Not sure what alchemy is amiss here, but somehow this beast of a sweet, thick nectar fragrance manages to linger on..and on. More so in fact than some pricier perfumes i own (shock!). Marketing schmarketing...i'm certainly no tween, so what? i enjoy it. Rarely do i wear this but once in a blue moon, the mood strikes. (and yes, i typically wear it at night)

I definitely catch the black cherry, and the orchid/freesia. Its a balmy, thick syrupy juice but without the cotton candy, strawberries and cake frosting of the original Fantasy.

For some reason this smells too green for me. I don't understand why people call it "yummy". After smelling the original Fantasy I wouldn't call this "yummy" at all.

It is sweet and young and not something I would wear all the time, but I do like it and it has its place in my collection, small as it may be. With 3 daughters you have to have something they can borrow without using up all your fav stuff.
It is sweet like the pink fantasy, but it is deeper/heavier.

So fruity and sweet! Feeling like the plum is going to pop out of the fragrance; some people might say this one is for grown women but I say that's still a little... girly. (much less than Fantasy though).
I think there's no such problem using it for the day, but you need to be moderate. It's truly better for the night. The longevity is very nice, and actually, this one stays >on me< better than the pink Fantasy one.
No, it's not THAT sofisticated - but works very well for a hang out with your friends, at the club or non-fancy parties.

it was an OK perfume for me.. makes me goes "hmm.. mehhh"

This is one of the worst perfumes I have ever had. The smell is nauseating. I got this when i was expecting my daughter who is now nearly 4. Every time I smell it now I feel really sick again. It's too over powering and sickening. I initially liked it but after a while got sick of it literally. I gave it away to my sister. But didn't let her wear it around me. I still feel funny if I ever smell this now :-/

On me, this smells only sour and icky, almost like powdered-over sweat. Not for me. Fresh on, it smells lovely, but as it mellows, I'm just left with that; sour, cloying sweat.

A lot more sour fruity than I expected, which is not what I'd hoped for, but I will give it a chance :)

EDIT: My second and last time of wearing it. While the silliage and lasting power are awesome, it's just not doing it for me. It gets kinda annoying with it's unequivocal fruitiness. First spray is a shock to the system, and as it dries down, it's like a whinging toddler in the background. I already have a whinging toddler, and while she is finally in bed, this one goes on and on...

Midnight Fantasy is truly one of my favorites! I am a huge fan of Britney Spears AND her perfumes too xo! When I wear Midnight Fantasy I smell delicious sugar grapes, I love the scent because I favor sweet fragrances. Great 6-8 hour lasting power on me too! If you spray it on a jacket & come back a week later to wear that same jacket again, you will still smell Midnight Fantasy.

I usually avoid celebrity perfumes. I classify them as cheap, foul, silly, and with little longevity. This perfume really surprised me. I loved the scent! It was syrupy cherries and plums and cooking vanilla-- a little tacky, yes, though so inviting and sexy and cool.
The sillage was impressively large, and the staying power was close to 6 hours! This is an amazing feat for most perfumes on my skin.
Unfortunately, this perfume is produced by Elizabeth Arden, a company which tests on animals. Yuck, and WTF?
I was going to request this perfume as a Christmas gift. Alas.

Despite the name, Midnight Fantasy is not dark or sensual. In fact there isn't a drop of seriousness in that indigo sphere. It's irreverent, fun, LOUD and almost disgustingly-cute. I can't describe it as anything other than an epic, neon-violet explosion of tart mixed-berry juiciness. It's synthetic, but instead of smelling plasticky and fake, it just smells larger-than-life. It also lasts well, projects wonderfully, and doesn't fall apart after an hour.

So what if it's not the most complex, natural and nuanced scent around? That's like saying every song should be classical, played using only real instruments, and come in 3 standard movements. I find this a great example of the technical mastery of synthetics, and perfect just as it is.

On the aside, my mom, the quintessential perfume hater, was gushing over MF when she smelt it on me. She said it reminds her of sodas she used to drink as a child. A perfect expression of the blissful self-indulgence this fragrance is meant to evoke.

It´s a one-note, this fragance doesnt change much with the hours... the smell is exactly the same, simple and cute.
Very juvenile and has a amazing longevity.
Be careful to apply a small quantity cause it´s very strong.
However I prefer the original Fantasy, much more complex.

Even as a younger part of the perfume audience, I innately gravitate towards heady orientals with a twist of either florals or dark fruit: my preferred perfumes right now are Chanel No. 5, Opium, and Flowerbomb. However, I found myself raptured by the overly sweet syrup topped with plethora of mass produced blueberries, cherries, and plain vanilla that Elizabeth Arden/Britney Spears decided to label Midnight Fantasy. This aroma can be worn in broad daylight, but like the name suggests, it is more suited during the darker hours. On my skin, the scent melts very smoothly: slightly sweet anchored by an extremely faint trail of resin- I'm assuming MF wanted something more sophisticated (amber) having a grip on the wild child (cherry). The only reasons MF detracts from the other celebrity perfumes on the market (in my humble opinion) are the enduring longevity and powerful sillage. One to two spritzes are enough to satiate any working noses.
I admit, I do have a slight aversion towards celebrity endorsed perfumes; however I have the following exceptions: Jennifer Aniston and Midnight Fantasy and I adore them both equally with different reasons.

This perfume is very sweet but be careful not to apply too much as it can be overpowering. Unfortunately the fragrance doesn't last very long and is gone within a couple of hours. Its a fun scent but not very elegant or sophisticated. This fragrance is definitely better suited to a younger/ teenage market. At 20, I feel that I've outgrown it.

When I sniffed it for the first time on a paper blot, it put me off. It was too cloying, syrupy like oversweetened fruit pulp. But later on, I smelled something quite pleasant and not so strong anymore. Maby because of that second impression, I finally bought it and as far as I can say - I dont't love it but I like it. The most prominent note I can smell is cotton candy or plums/cherries covered with sugar, much sugar. It's quite a nice feeling for cold, cloudy days like now and winter time. I can't imagine using Midnight Fantasy during summer. For me it would be just too much.

I was looking for an affordable blueberry scent so I (finally) decided to try MF. It ended up smelling like a scented petroleum wax candle. Not for me.

I am not a fan of really sweet smells, but this one is rather nice exception. Very girly, fruity and sweet smell, hiding under mysterious name in beautiful bottle. I wouldn't buy it, the sweetness is overwhelming me, but my friend smells amazing while wearing it.

I do love the color of the bottle though, would buy it just for that.

What exactly is an exotic Framboise? Who wrote this copy? Did they believe that if they call a humble raspberry in French and use a capital letter, the smell will become exotic?

Well first of all, I don't think Midnight Fantasy is the right name for this at all. it should be called Strawberry Dream or Summer Fruit or similar.

With a name like Midnight Fantasy you expect maybe some musk or some spice or something sophisticated.

All I got from this was strawberry shower gel and candy floss. Even two hours later, still a sort of sticky, jammy smell.

I didn't like this at all but if you like fruity smells, you've got it in abundance here.

I do love the bottle though, so pretty.

I like the bottle and its by far my favorite britney spears scent. But to me it smells like a mixture of Love spell by VS and Dark kiss by Bath and Body Works.

This smells just like a blueberry lip smacker. Yummy, but not sophisticated.

At the beginning I get the overload of sugary blueberries, cherries and vanilla. Fun, uncomplicated, easy going fragrance.

OK, this may not be the high-end perfumery but you do not expect that with this one. In general, I do not differentiate fragrances on the basis of which age group should wear the respective fragrance but this one is perfect for girls around 20. Then it settles a little bit and we can wide the age range for another ten years :)

I don't know why, but when I first smelled this, the first thing that came to mind was apricot, followed by maybe a sweet orange, but somehow darker. Seeing that neither of those were in there, and I was just smelling the plum and sour cherry really surprised me.

That being said though, I love this! I was really considering buying all 4 of the Fantasy collection, but found that I had everything I needed in Midnight Fantasy and the original - whilst the original is sugary sweet and cupcakey, I love Midnight Fantasy because it's kind of tart, but also warm fruity at the same time, so I feel like I have every food-style base covered!

As it begins to dry down, I think (sorry I'm not very good at distinguishing notes yet!) I also begin to smell the orchid, because there's a real familiarity between this and the original Fantasy, so you can definitely tell that they're kind of 'sisters.'

Overall, this is a sweet, fresh perfume that I could see myself wearing all year around for a bit of fun, just like the original. Love!

Oh my, I have to say that THIS is actually my favourite Britney fragrance. It's beautiful! I can smell the cherry and plum so well on my skin. This is exactly the perfume I've been wanting for nights out. I can't stop sniffing it, 10/10 Miss Britney.

Midnight Fantasy is better than the original but is too candy sweet for me. I detect blueberry and cherry notes but the scent seems to be candy coated and is suited for preteens, in my opinion. I like Circus Fantasy much better than Fantasy or Midnight Fantasy.

UPDATE: I tested this fragrance again, and on the skin, I smell dark fruits and a heavy musk scent. I'm not a fan of Midnight Fantasy.

I like this after about 5 minutes. It's strong and you don't need much. Not really something for work, but good for when you want to smell delicious and want others to notice.

I love blueberries and I want to love this perfume but the scent just fades on me very fast. I spray it on and hour later I respray. Stays better if sprayed on clothing rather than on skin.

This smells like straight up synthetic blueberries to me (even though blueberry isn't one of the notes). If that's what you like, you will be happy. It just wasn't for me. I thought I liked it at first, but it's just much too "blueberry pie."

I can smell plum and sour cherry. It's definitely sweet with a bit of fruity beer. Staying powder is very long. I like the smell but it's not for an everyday wear IMO.

This smells like fruity bubblegum. I can't smell any distinct fruits nor flowers, just something fruity aromatic. Very much like a car refreshner. I don't get all the rave reviews. The original Fantasy (pink) is so much better made, at least it smells of perfume not air refreshner!

I wanted to try one of the Radiances or even both if I liked Midnight Fantasy, but now I'm not so sure... This is yet another blind buy that did not work out for me.

Bought this for very very cheap ($20 for the 100ml) to help complete my BS collection (which i have all of them now, except Believe, ehh not my cup of tea). I like it so much more than the original Fantasy (Fantasy was the go to perfume for every girl when I was in highschool and now it sadly give me a horrific headache when I wear it, still have it though cause I do take the occasional stiff as it is very nostalgic for me). I love the juicy notes of MF its creamy and so yummy. This one is in my boyfriend's top favorites to smell on me.

Has MF been reformulated? My newest bottle smells like wet dog or vomit. Sour in the wrong way... :,-(

this is pretty sweet, but i love this one. it is not very long lasting, but it smells soo great. it starts like a sweet pie with dark fruits. But in middle it kind of starts to smell more like alcohol, like an old lady perfume & this is really heavy!!!!.
This one is for sure not so sweet as original fantasy, but both of these are fine.

It was another blindbuy for me.When i sprayed in for the frst tym all i could smell was like an air freshener..was kind of dissapointed.Then thot of using it casually so that i can finish the 100ml bottle asap..

As i started using it regulrly..believe it or not i just fell in love with the fragrance...it has something darker essence in it...and i just love it..when i spray it on my clothes it lingers on for ages...while on my skin it lasts for about 4 hours or so..

The plum really comes through...along with a mild touch of vanilla...

Candy sweet, fruity, attractive and delicious like the pink Fantasy. Except this one is naughtier and sexier. Smells like juicy blueberries, sugar and incense. Wear this to a club, you'll be turning heads and never run out of dance partners. If your man has a sweet tooth like I do, this one will hypnotize him and keep his nose attached to your neck until the sun comes up.

Overrated IMO... its ok..kind of cloying..sort of remind me of berries & cigarette smoke (as if someone had been smoking and trying to cover the smell with perfume) ..I like Fantasy better (pink bottle).. but nevertheless Midnight Fantasy do garnish many compliments! works very well in cold weather.. and last all day!

Midnight fantasy was my favorite of the fantasy line until i smelled Hidden fantasy and now own that one but this is a total dark berry bliss in a bottle!It smells like blueberries the way this was blended together with vanilla and dark cherries and all dark berries..this smells like love spell by victoria secret except it has the added vanilla cream to it and thats what makes it smell like blueberries...one of my up there top favorite scents i don't care i can't live without my celebrity scents they make my day alittle brighter with every spray and thats all that matters!

There's a green/dark note in there that I don't like and it definitely does not smell of skittles like I was told...

I tested all four Fantasy perfumes today (Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, Hidden Fantasy and Circus Fantasy) and this was my least favorite. My initial feeling was that it smelled like a cheap, synthetic fruity smelling air freshener. Not great! It's pretty much stayed that way, although it mellowed a bit after an hour or so and smelled slightly better to my nose .. not by much though. I'm really not impressed and can't believe it's so popular. It just smells very generically fruity and a bit cheapo! Of course, it's Sod's Law that, of the four Fantasy perfumes, this was the one the store has on special offer at the moment. Even being reduced, I wouldn't buy Midnight Fantasy because I think it's just not that good. The best thing about it, if I can say that, is that it lasts a long time so for anyone who does like it that would be a positive thing. For me though, I want the smell to go away!

This is my favorite of the Britney Spears scents. Fantasy was too icky sweet for me, but Midnight Fantasy is just perfect. While it's called "Midnight" I use it as a daytime scent due to the fact that it's so very light. The longevity is quite poor, which is a shame, because otherwise this scent is so delicious. Whereas Fantasy is for little girls, Midnight Fantasy is a grown up version of the scent. All in all a very lovely scent!

This fragrance is ok. I like the original Fantasy better. It smells fruity and somewhat sweet. I couldn't really smell the cherry and it seemed synthetic. I will not buy this again.

I bought this from a chain perfume shop here in the UK because it was horrendously cheap for a huge bottle and I needed something pleasant to wear after a long dry spell (NO perfume for months!!). For me, it doesn't have the same monster sillage and longevity of Fantasy; I could douse myself in it and five minutes later nobody would be able to smell it. I mainly use it as a body spray as it seems to stick on clothes/fabrics better than my skin. That said, it's a very pleasant scent. It's certainly 'fruity', but not in a tropical way, like last year's Taj Sunset for example. It's sharp without being sharp if that can make sense to anyone. I get a hard hit of black cherry for the opening, and a somewhat floral/vanilla/fruity drydown (this all happens for me within about an hour). It's quite a difficult scent to describe as it's a lot of things combined. It's not as sweet, heavy or gourmandy as Fantasy, and warmer/girlier than Hidden Fantasy, but still taking elements from both. It also has a slightly 'clean' smelling accord, not in a chemically way, it's just fairly crisp, not warm and disorientating like Fantasy. I wouldn't use Midnight as a sensual treat, but it's very nice, and a good casual perfume. I would recommend it purely on the fact that it's cheap enough to be worn like a body spray and makes your clothes smell lovely. Also I don't smell as many people wearing it as I do Fantasy, possibly because of the sillage, or possibly because it's unpopular over here, which doesn't make much sense to me. As with most of Ms. Spears' perfumes, they tick all the 'popular' boxes, but they do it very well... Unlike 99% of the other celeb fragrances I've had the misfortune to try!

Yet another gift from a dear friend. I must admit I was curious since I´ve read and heard so many good things about this fragrance. I really love the bottle. It´s so pretty. It goes on very strong and fruity and at first I thought, oh my god it smells like chewing gum overload, and rotten fruit. This lasted for about 10 minutes. Then it started to change and I got a sweet fruity creaminess that was so lovely. It makes me feel hungry for a creamy fruit salad. I can definitely smell sour cherries in this. At first it was overpowering and a bit off-putting but once it settles down into the skin, it´s very lovely. I have to add that I am not a teen. I`m a middle-aged woman, so I think it really depends on body chemistry. I can smell this fragrance with me all the time, but I don`t yet find it annoying. It´s not overpowering as some people have said. For me it is barely there (bearing in mind that it´s 29 degrees c today, perhaps it is evaporating faster). I wouldn`t wear this every day, but definitely on occasion.

A nicely done fragrance that has a grape smell to it even though there isn't any grape in. It has a bit of a sour smell to it too, probably because of the plum. When most of the fruitiness wears off, it has a strange fuzzy smell to it that sort of lifts it up a bit(not such a big fan of the fuzziness though) and is a bit powdery. Has very good lasting power, if I know I'm going to have a busy and long day ahead of me I use with a bit of a heavy hand(not in summer though, it easily terrorizes people) and I can still smell it at night. Smells a lot like blueberry cupcake at the end of the day, this scent deserves a 7/10 in my opinion, and if you're like me who likes bold fragrances, midnight fantasy will be good in your collection.

Midnight is a strong fruity fragrance - not for the shy and retiring!

I get plum/grape/sour cherry (lots of cherry)!

I think it is very well blended, it gradually warms up and settles down but the fruity notes are present throughout.

I can still smell this the next day on my skin and even longer on clothes!

This fragrance reminds me so much of a body shampoo or soap I've used before but I just can't get the name of it. Its a good fragrance after all, I prefer this over Hidden Fantasy.

This has a fruity, soapy quality on me. The soap part surprised me, since I expected it to be more gourmand. Overall, it's okay. I actually prefer the original Fantasy.

I really liked this at first but something has changed either in my skin chemistry or my sense of smell and I can't wear it now!

It is however fruity and juicy, when I first wore it and got into the car with my boyfriend he said you smell like berries, yum :)

This scent is MUCH too sweet for my taste. Overwhelmingly sweet, blueberry-candy, sugar kind of thing. I'm sure I would like it, if I were 15 years younger. But maybe not for anything else than a room-spray.

This really does smell like blueberry gum that has been chewed for hours. Not necessarily a bad thing but don't expect muffins from this perfume as it's much more fruity than cakey (in fact, there's no cake at all in this) and has that bubble gum quality to it on the dry down.

At first it's all about the sour fruits though.

Midnight fantasy smells delicious. The scent is pleasant , dreamy, fruity, SOFT, warm, vanillaish...mysterious, and sexy. When I wear it...I feel like a midnight fairy walking into a fantasy forest. For some reason I love it more than VIVA LA JUICY!

Sugared sweet, but not too sweet blueberries and berries. yum. Lasting power is good, too. It is much "lighter" or happier than Dark Kiss. Dark Kiss is heavier on the vanilla and feels sultry to me where this one does not. I feel I could wear this in summer. Dark Kiss feels more like a fall/winter fragrance. Glad I picked it up.

Can defs smell the blueberrys in there and it lasts for ages. Love this.

This smells like fruity berry koolaid. It's too sickingly sweet. I bought this based on the reviews without trying it first. I love sweet fumes but this is just too much sugar overload. I was surprised that I didn't like this as well as I though as I would. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it. I love sweet scents like Fantasy and Can Can but this one was too much.

I LOVE berries/dark fruits and I LOVE gourmands, the sweeter the better for me. Pink Sugar, Fantasy, Fancy, Can Can, I love them all. How is it possible that I can't stomach Midnight Fantasy?? Before testing it, I was so sure that I would love this, even more than the 1st Fantasy because I love anything that smells of dark berries, cherries, plums and blackcurrant. But when I finally tested it, I was shocked. Tested it a few more times and refused to give up, praying that I must have tested a bad bottle...nope! Not for me!

Then to read the great reviews here...I'm scratching my head in wonder. It smells strongly of blueberry chewing gum to me and in a bad way, the sweetness is just too synthetic to my nose, I don't get any vanilla at all, it's just high fructose corn syrup and artificial berry flavor all the way, period. I apologize for saying this, but it smells cheap, cloying, juvenile and very synthetic on me...even more juvenile, more cloying and more synthetic than Pink Sugar which smells more complex and sophisticated in comparison (note: I've never smelled MF on anyone else, so I can't comment about what it smells on others).

I'm so disappointed, I have enjoyed all the other Fantasies, and I had expected this one to end up as my favorite judging from the notes and all the rave reviews. I really feel like 'the odd one out' right now. So take it from me, it's not a scent to buy blind!! Thank goodness I got to test it first.

I smelt this and before I sprayed it, it reminded me of grapes. I personally do not enjoy over sugary scents so my younger niece sprayed it on herself, you do notice the fruity notes first as well as the vanilla.
The plum and sour cherry do come through as the first top notes you initially smell but when dry time comes along it is very vanilla and some fruit hints and an almost creamy scent. That is very pleasing.

Pure , sweet but tart berries are what I smell. Sugared berries. I love it! I sprayed it on my skin over 12 hours ago and I can still smell it too. Midnight Fantasy doesn't balst you with a super loud, toxic cloud. Once it stettles down, it sticks closer to the skin. ( unlike original Fantasy which you can smell a mile away. ) Fantasy and Midnight are sisters , sweet with a nice tartness to balance it, but different enough to be their own entities.

Britney's team knows what they are doing. Light, fresh, flirty and fun... yes and a man magnet too.I don't get night, midnight , after dark on this one though. Good for any time, IMO.

Can we talk about the bottle? The indigo bottle is beautiful in color. I love it!

This scent really makes me happy. Every time I'm tired and I feel lonely I just spray this and suddenly, I feel good and beautiful. Both my father and brother like this over the original fantasy. My brother even commented that if he would happen to smell this scent, he would definitely find the girl who was wearing it. He added that the original fantasy smelled like a "detergent". That was funny.I'll definitely repurchase this one but not the original pink fantasy.

I´m not a fan of britney but i bought this perfume only because i love anything with blueberries/raspberries. It does smell a little cheap and artificial but it´s yummy and makes me happy.i´m sure i´ll repurchase.the bottle describes the scent very well.

This is the real fantasy..! It smells like creamy dark cherries, berries and whipped cream with vanilla. Its a magical perfume. Guys like that :) I feel mysterious when I wear it. And yea, bottle is very-sweet :)

I really love this - don't think you should put an age group on perfume - if it smells good on you, wear it! I'm in my 50's and don't always want to smell like a drawer liner! I love my powdery more mature smells - Mitsouko is my fave all time perfume but sometimes I just want to smell young and sassy! This is a pretty awesome bottle and the dark berry fruits with the musky base notes smell great on my oily, olive skin. Very much an evening out scent - I always get compliments when wearing it!

I've had my bottle for about four years and have always loved it but I put it away for a while because I thought it was a bit young for me (I'm 30). I started using it again a couple days ago and I can't get enough of it. It's so juicy. I wake up in the morning and get a rush of excitement at the thought of holding the beautiful indigo (my favourite colour) bottle in my hands and spraying this on. I am mesmerized by the colour especially when light shines through the bottle.
I feel a little embarrassed about wearing it out especially in reference to my age and I have an 18 month old daughter, but my husband (31) assured me I'm not too old for it. I walked into his office this morning and he smelt my perfume and enthusiastically commented on how good I smelt and how much it's his favourite. I know that this means he REALLY likes it because out of all the fragrances I have, I've never had this type of reaction from him, even with the ones he has liked.
I've read lots of reviews on Midnight Fantasy from this site and others and have noticed a lot of guys seem to like this. Women get lots of compliments from friends as well as strangers on the street so it seems to be a crowd pleaser. I've seen positive reviews from girls under 18 to women over 55 and that definitely reassures me I'm not too old to wear this.
It's very strong so I don't need to spray much and I can still smell it on me before I go to bed at night. I will always have this in my collection and it's always on sale somewhere.

Wow! From midnight fantasy's notes, I was expecting berries and cream with some sweet floral musk. I smell raspberry and juicy purple grape generously sprinkled with sugar and a powdery note which I am assuming is the iris.

After wrist sniffing for awhile I finally figured out what this smells exactly like: Bubbalicious grape gum fresh from the wrapper! I even smell the white sugary powder that is on all gum right out of the package :)

I would not wear this to the office but I love wearing this at home. It is a cuddle with my honey and a fun scent for me. While I personally cannot stop sniffing myself with midnight fantasy on, I could see this offending many other noses since it is very strong and not for everybody.

I do have all of the BS fantasy line and the original pink fantasy is my favorite of the bunch. The original really is a windrow for a chocoholic like me, I just can't get enough of that white chocolate note and how well it ties the whole scent together :) Midnight fantasy is now my next favorite from the BS frags.

always ignored perfumes by Britt since I never actually liked anything with regards to this pop-diva. however I have noticed that her perfumes are highly rated and decided to check them out. my targets were Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy. I thought I'd prefer the first one since review said it is sweet and I loooove sweet. but.. it is was far too sintetic on my skin. I was more impressed with Midnight Fantasy as it has fresh berry notes which makes perfume more complex. Perfume lasts quite long and does not change - good value for money. I am not over the moon with it and expected it to be fresher and not too plasticky. I would wear it in winter - it has cosiness and warmth of the cold dark evening spent next to the fireplace

My hubby gave this to me for a surprise! It was such a nice gesture of him to have a thought about me. Anyway, if it was up to me I will not buy this. Why...?

First of all, the bottle. It looks cheap. I had the Fantasy (bought by my hubby then). The blue, just ain't right. The colour. If it's darker, maybe it will looks far more expensive.

I don't know why, but this smells lil bit more mature than the Fantasy. I like it yes, but after a while it gets kinda smelling powderish. At first I can smell the sugarly floral but it gradually ends like a floral talcum. Sorry but not gonna be something I will wear often. Maybe when I need to pick up myself from being boring.

Overall, quite disappointing. Because I had quite a few perfumes from Britney so I thought this will be a good one. But nah, I was wrong. But yet again, a good every day perfume.

I really liked this fragrance when I first got it however I ended up giving it away. Even though the fragrance has many notes it smells very linear and just simply makes you smell like a big blueberry and the fragrance doesn't really change with time. It remains the same the whole way through. You smell like a giant blueberry at the start of the day and smell like a blueberry at the end of the day.

Finally I had a chance to test Midnight Fantasy, I was very curious after so many people praise it here.

It is soft, sensual and warm, very delicious! Could be a comfort scent for bad weather evenings, or just a casual party scent. I don't think it is too teeny, I would wear this anyway! Isn't it Ok for a mature woman, a mother, to smell like a blueberry pie :)

As a teenager of the noughties, Britney was the ultimate role model- maybe this explains, why, despite her non role model status, I constantly default to her fragrances; which, like early Britters, are all yummy sickly sweet innocence. Midnight Fantasy is no exception.

Although I prefer Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy is a delicious gourmond. Midnight Fantasy took a while winning me round, as I clearly have to be in the right mood for it. I am combining it with blueberry bodybutter to envelop myself in luxurious sweet berry.

The fragrance seems to be all blueberry to me- delicious, yet simple;juicy, but not long lasting;sweet, but certainly not sophisticated.

I'd classify it as an evening fragrance, maybe summer. Again, suits late teens to early twenties or anyone who does not take themselves too seriously.

very youthful and girly..a sweet berry sensation blended with a hint of pepper in it..i somehow can always smell it and find it a bit sharp..

Found this at a local discount designer department store (can't be more specific, sorry!)--starts with a W--still with me? OK, so it was a whole $16.95! So how could I say no? And I loves it!! I don't see blackberry listed but that's what I'm smelling--and I have Dark Kiss also and it's a totally different scent. Dark berries, and something musky to smooth it out, which would be the vanilla and/or musk I'm guessing. Quite yummy. Now I'm curious to try the original Fantasy. Oh and they had Circus Fantasy also. Hit!

Blueberries, sweet vanilla, and musk. That's what I smell from the bottle and on my skin when it comes to Midnight Fantasy. And you know what? I like it!

I think this works well as a nighttime perfume. I wouldn't wear this to a formal event, but I would wear this for a girls night out or for a casual date (I find that lots of men like this perfume). It smells very yummy and inviting without being too much, in my opinion. Not sophisticated or mature, but fun!

Many compare Bath and Body Works' Dark Kiss to Midnight Fantasy, and I can see why. They smell similar, but I do not believe that they are exact dupes of each other. I find that Midnight Fantasy is much more subtle than Dark Kiss: Dark Kiss is sweeter and much more musky. It's definitely a heavier scent. I prefer Midnight Fantasy because it's lighter.

I was looking for a good girly night time scent for fall and winter and i saw this for $29 at priceline a while ago. I smell it and i fell in love with it cherry and plum scent and the vanilla dry down it's so amazing, well worth trying out if u love fruity scents and vanilla

This is my second Britney purfume. I have had a small bottle of Curious and fell in love with the sent. The long lasting, sweet, everyday sent. I went out to go get some more curious, when I ran into a sale on Midnight Fantasy. I heard it was really great, and It was one of britney's other great purfume, so I got it. It was really blueberry/black berry sent, with a hint of cherry. I feel, the longer I wear it, the purfume works great on me. It is a great, mixture of scents. I also love how each of britney spears purfume, she always add vanilla in her perfumes.

overall I love this scent. It fun, unique, and great night time scent. going out with friends, or out to the clubs.

This is all about berries! I smell most distinctly the sour cherry, and even though not listed a blueberry note. The vanilla keeps this from being too tart adding just the right amount of creaminess. It really smells like a big bowl of vanilla ice cream covered in a berry puree while drinking a fizzy grape soda on the side. It is sweet but it's also very sexy. I've received more compliments on this scent than a lot of my more expensive bottles. This is long-lasting and I love to layer it with BBW Dark Kiss lotion to enhance the scent even more. I only purchased a 1oz. because it was a blind buy but I really wish I would have got the bigger one. Definitely recommend for cool summer nights and fall/winter.

This was on offer where I live, $35 for a 1.7oz bottle, so I bought it blindly because I loved the original Fantasy. Though earlier on Fragrantica I had already read that this was a very different fragrance from Fantasy, I didn't expect them to be THAT different, since they were from the same 'family' of perfumes. I really, really wanted to like this more than Fantasy, because I only own the 1oz bottle of Fantasy and it's already half-gone, so I wanted to like this one more and thus have an excuse to use it more (warped logic)

This cannot compare to Fantasy. It's very different in its own right, fruitier and with less vanilla. It's also less gourmand-sweet. While my greatest weakness is vanilla and gourmand scents, thus my hardcore love for Fantasy, I'm not a big fruity fan.

I smell a lot of plum and cherries in this, and they persist all the way to the end. There's a vanilla undertone that keeps this from turning into a cheap Victoria's Secret scent, and I can definitely pick out certain florals. This, however, failed to steal my heart the way Fantasy did, because this fragrance does not evolve very much on me. The fruitiness toned down slightly, but it remained the same fragrance throughout.

Fantasy is still one of my favourites, but I will use this for days when the heavy gourmand of Fantasy becomes too much. When my bottle of Fantasy runs out, I will definitely buy the full size, but I don't think I'll repurchase this one.

I love many of Britney's fragrances. They just so sweet and fresh. This perfume is perfect for teenagers who enjoy really sweet smelling perfumes. Even though its sweet, I dont find it sickly or over-powering, I tend to use it occationally, spraying it only twice around my clothes and body and the smell lasts for hours! The 30ml ive had for 3 years and its almost finished, so I can say its lasted me a long time.

Definately not my everyday fragrance, but a wonderful scent in general. Its dark, yet very fruity which is a clever contrast, perfect for spring/summer/ autumn.

For a celebrity fragrance, this is a deal breaker.

I wore this fragrance today on a hot afternoon (30°C) and I can say it is not cloying at all. It is very fruity and sweet but in a good way. The only negative point: it didn't last on my skin longer than 3 hours...

Great smell for a great price. Dark and mysterious, yet very pretty and fruity. Always loved this stuff.

This fragrance is pretty good, but...only in fall/winter time. Personally I had awful headache when tried to wear this in the beginning of April after falling in love with it during the winter. I was very upset and decided to give up with this scent, but then realised that for cold weather it is absolutely not bad at all. Very lovely, it begins with juicy berries and dries down to vanilla and maybe (as I feel) chocolate.

I wasn't expecting much from this, I thought it'd be overpowering fruity syrup, but it's actually pretty delicious! It's all realistic, juicy sweet-tart dark berries, with a surprisingly subtle, creamy/musky vanilla. It's well-balanced too, there's nothing about it that reaches out and smacks you in the nose.

It is VERY similar to B&BW Dark Kiss, but I think Dark Kiss is a little heavier on the chocolate/cheesecakey/musky elements, while Midnight Fantasy is juicier, mostly dark fruits and a hint of creamy vanilla.

MIDNIGHT FANTASY is strong on the fruit notes. The notes of plum and cherries stayed with me all the way through the floral hearts notes. The result was that I couldn’t separate any of the floral notes.

The vanilla in the base was also very subtle; I could pick out the musky tones. I’d have thought the base would be sweet, but it’s not. MIDNIGHT FANTASY is all about the fruity notes. Personally I love plums and cherries so I do adore MIDNIGHT FANTASY, though I have to caution that it can be sickly in warm weather. I’d definitely stick to autumn/winter for this.


Finally: MIDNIGHT FANTASY always seems to be on offer in stores, so an already reasonably priced perfume becomes a bargain.

This scent list all kinds of fancy fruits, and exotic flowers, and the bottom line is that when they are all blended together they are reminiscent of that yummy bubble gum we used to get at the candy store when we were kids. This perfume is a cross between pink bubble gum, and fresh spun cotton candy.
If you want a fresh fun girly scent, this is the best of the best! I love it! I wear it all the time!!
If what you want is glamour and sophistication, skip this one.
The projection is fair to good, and the longevity is very good.

It's maybe weird for some but I have really nice fragrances in my collection like Chanel Coco Madmoiselle, Chanel no5 and no19, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, Miss Dior, Hypnotic Poison, Angel, Alien, Marc Jacobs Daisy etc...I could go on forever hehehe but still her fragrances are just great! I think they are my favourites anyway. Some of u will prob be like "how can she compare those to some designers fragrances" but I dont see anything bad with it...u love what u want. I got my taste and it's like that...nothing is as good as Brit's...

I liked it at first but after 5 minutes it was berries overload. Nothing exciting or exotic in the mix (at least not on my skin). I love Fantasy but wanted to wash midnight fantasy off after 30 minutes. It is similar to Dark Kiss but not as wearable to me. I love fruity scents but this smells just like candy. Seems even too young for a teen.

I think this is delicious! Fruity and sweet. The blueberries and cherry go wonderfully together with the vanilla. The musk and amber bring the fruit and sweetness down to a deeper scent which lasts and lasts....Its been 5 hrs now and I can still smell it on my arm. A def must have!!

What we have here it's a very well done mix of plum, sour cherry and vanilla, very vanilla, is a delight!
It opens with strong fruity notes, given the plum and sour cherry, along with the vanilla creaminess and gives depth to the perfume.
To me it's more fruity than sweet itself, because the acidity of sour cherry note, do not let it become cloying. I live in Brazil, which is hot, and so it is very important to me that breaks the sugar candy we found in the original Fantasy, because it really nauseating, especially in hot climates.
Yes, I think he's a bit adolescent, but a teenager nearing its 20-25years old. when I do 30, maybe I'll not love him as much I love today. And tastes change over time, it is a fact.
His longevity is good in my skin, depending on the weather, on cold days last longer, around 8-9 hours.
I don't know the hidden or the circus fantasy, but I have no desire to know, because this is one of the most well-made perfumes I ever met, and on my list are many of the bests.

I absolutely love Midnight Fantasy - as many have already mentioned, it's very unique and pretty distinct. It starts off very sweet and fruity, but after a moment, some tart berry comes into play and a warm, vanilla musk softens everything. It's not a gourmand sweet like the original Fantasy, or a musky sweet like Circus Fantasy, but it is rather a dry, tart sweet with hints of rich warmth. A seductive fragrance that's still innocent. I always feel good wearing it - and maybe a little devilish too.

I think many will be surprised by Midnight Fantasy. I have found it to be quite the excellent fragrance!! :) Initially, I wasn't sure of how much I liked, it but as time wore on I came to realize that I was in love with it. It is a very unique scent and does not smell like anything out there in the market. One night I asked my brother which one of my many perfumes I should wear out, and to my BIGGEST surprise Midnight Fantasy and Fantasy were his top contenders. He was absolutely in LOVE with it. I was so surprised by that reaction. The staying power is great! It smells wonderful and different (esp. for a celebrity scent)! It has pretty packaging and is affordable. Lastly, it will score a lot of compliments. Overall a good buy! :D

Midnight Fantasy, has a very nasty fruity beer smelling note on my skin. It does have a light promising floral and amber base, but on me the fruity beer overwhelms the nice florals.

The woman who wears this: its a strange story, but there were a group of girls i knew who were from iran and one of them happened to be wearing this scent. This scent IS that woman (not due to nationality) She oozed sexuality and confidence. She had volumous hair, voluptuous figure while holding herself well. Her features and the way she carried herself created a mystery about her, she did have an original beauty about her and this was all without her having a "sexy and i know it attitude" it was rather opposite and her confidence was carried out in ways other than her sexuality.



This is a very nice scent and it sits well on me. I love the way the vanilla smells warm and then there is a nice release of plum and not to berry berry sour sour. Its a sweet berry smell but as you do please spray sparingly and not kill everyone in your tracks with it. with this i mind it is a very nice balance- if not and ouve got a headache you have applied too much!

IMO its a more grown up version of fantasy so its a good transitioning perfume if once upon a time your perfume consisted of sugar lollies etc. its a very good night perfume and if you have not applied it on yourself to death can actually drive men wild

yes i do recommend somewhat that you do mix it as other women will be wearing this scent and you dont want to end up as a group of women in a cloud of MF by BS

I'm a latecomer to the Fantasy perfumes and the original is iconic gourmand, but Midnight is unbelievably bad. The piercing fumes of chemical cherry cough syrup and chest balsam are eye-watering. It's the only perfume that has ever given me a blinding headache. Trashed it.

I LOVE IT! Fruit scent,it smells like berries..And yeh it is a night wear perfume.

Midnight fantasy is one of my favourite fragrances, it's so fruity but it smells unique. It smells like plumb and cherries. It's very romantic and smells so delicious! I love the design of the bottle, it's really pretty. It smells nothing like Fantasy, because it's not as sweet (but twice as fruity!) It's my favourite Britney Spears perfume :-)

I have a little boy of 4 and have sprayed this on him since he was 2, being based in a fruity smell insted of flowers we found it a great smell for a little boy everyone says he smells so good and he loves to get perfume on like mom and dad ' we have a lot' i cant see it as one i would wear but i do like it on him, it might sound odd but it works! he doesnt smell girly he smells like a sweet little kid.

This is such a juicy scent...my mouth waters when i smell it.

Grapes and more grapes :) . Smelled it once, smelled it twice and fell in love.

But the only problem was that most scents transform a little after a while, sometimes better or sometimes worse. However, this just remains sweet and doesn't change at all.

So, for those who think sweet perfumes are little too much. Don't waste your time on this. And for those who like sweet sweet scents - go for it :)

When i first got this i didn't really like it. But as i wear it more i'm starting to really appreciate the subtleness of the fragrance. If you're a big fan of the original fantasy i don't think that you would necessarily like this one ( fantasy is probably my all time favourite fragrance)so i definitely recommend getting a sample first..it took a while to grow on me. I will admit though the combination of plum and vanilla in this perfume is trés unique! I wish it was a bit stronger and long lasting though but it's still a nice fruity perfume (I love how the musk is NOT dominating the perfume! scoreeee) :)

From The First Time I Saw It I Was Sure That It Will Smill So (wonderful) And From the time i smellsd it i felt that i am in meddel of an tropical forest it is not eney kind it was one of kind XD

This smells so good, but i don't wear it very often as im just never in the mood for it. Its heavy like the original fantasy but is a lot less cake like and more sugary fruits, reminds me of skittles or something. The opening is pretty much the scent throughout the day, i didn't notice much change on my skin in scent. It lasts a long while and does project well, if i spray it on me in my room the whole room smells of it and it smells the same when i get back from going out. The only problem with this is sometimes i can be around the smell so long i get a bit sick of it. So i try not to put too much on and put it somewhere on my where my nose doesnt get it all the time like the wrist or further round the neck nearer the shoulders

I love this perfume, and im on my 2nd 100ml bottle now.I agree it is definitely more of a teen fragrance (i am 16).It smells fruity and full,although not neccessarily only appropriate for the evening.s

Everyone has probably smelled, tried and raved or dispised this 100 times already, and I have just tried this now, carefully having purchased only the smallest bottle in the shop.
And you know what, I like it. It transports me to the lush summer forest of my middle european Homeland. Not even to forest, but to my home. I feel so happy and comfortable. Jam is bubbling in the ancient heavy metal pan, berries extract-or so I want to think-summer, sun, forest aromas, so we can get a jar of preserve from the cellars in the middle of bare and scarce winter. Hot tea maturing in tea pot, smell of baked cherry pie from the oven...Too sweet, you say? Oh well, forget about sugar-just live on the diet of Midnight fantasy and freshly brewed bluberry stems tea. Will do good to one's mind and to one's figure.:)

The more I wear this one the more crazy about it I get. Its gotten to the point where I will start craving the smell of this. Whereas Fantasy was a total fail for me this one really delivered. I don't get gourmand blueberry muffins or anything, but this is a wonderfully done fruity scent. It is in the same vein as the fruity, musky, shampoo scents that Escada puts out, but very well done and somehow not as cloying. Definitely a "blueberry" (or just think of the how a fruity "blue" scent would smell) shampoo scent to my nose, but in a really good way. It's not overly musky or overly sweet, just a well rounded fruity scent that makes me feel really clean. Like stepping out of the shower and smelling really good. Its not show stopping, but its a really fun one to have in your wardrobe if you like fruity scents.

I finally bought this! So at first I was thinking sour cherries (at least on the tester strip) but on my skin, I get blueberry muffins! It's great! It TOTALLY reminds me of a cheaper version of Bond No. 9 I Love New York for Her, except without the patchouli. I am sooo in love with this. I first owned the original Fantasy, and I have to say there is a comforting familiarity in Midnight Fantasy that is reminiscent of the original, yet Midnight stands alone. It is such a warm, sweet blueberry muffin scent and makes me want to eat it! My husband thinks I smell scrumptious too!

I had Midnight Fantasy when it first came out and loved it's berry sweetness. Then everyone else started wearing it, including a few (dare i say it) really skanky girls i used to know. It was everywhere when i went out at night, and people were dousing themselves in it. I grew to loathe it's overpowering, headache inducing properties. That is, until now. I repurchased this the other day, partly because i'm a perfume junkie, but mostly because I didn't want to hate it forever. My opinion has changed, i am back in love with it, i still prefer Fantasy over this, but today as the weather gets colder in Melbourne, i'm wearing it to work (applied with a light hand)and it's lovely on a day like today. On me it's mostly fruits and vanilla, but sometimes, all i want from perfume is a little fun fruitiness. At 30 i'm older than their target demographic, but i feel no shame in wearing this to work. It's a cold weather perfume in my opinion, but it WILL get compliments!

Bought this one after reading the reviews, and am glad I did... is berry heaven, but not too sweet. Seems a little softer than Fantasy, and it lasts for a good long while too. :)

It is strong, the plum accord is soooo noticeable!! I find a powerful plastic note, I´m not sure what it is, but reminds me a lot the plastic of the new dolls. So nice sensation =)

I would wear it on a romantic date, even in a girl´s night. Never on daytime or work, only special occasions.

Amazing lasting power!

i expected this scent to be a deeper, more complex scent, especially because of its name. but, it stayed pretty linear and smelled of very strong and cloying berry shampoo on me. it also gave me a headache, one that occured quickly after application and did not subside for 2-3 hours. i tried the perfume 3 days in a row and to no avail...the headache always followed and the scent never developed on my skin past the berry blast. i dont usually have adverse reactions to perfumes, but for some reason i did with Midnight Fantasy. i have the original Fantasy and that smells great on me and does not give me a headache. i have no doubts that this perfume could be a revelation for some people out there, but not for me. im going to have to sell this bottle or give it away to someone who will make it shine. it just doesnt work with my chemistry. if anyone is interested in purchasing this bottle at a cheap price, PM me! ive only sprayed it about 6 times.

I came across this scent somewhat accidently, it was gifted to me on my 19th Birthday in 2009 and it has been a staple in my fragrance collection ever since. I was a little reluctant to wear this at first, seeing as I would not necessarily call my myself a Britney fan but I finally caved and began wearing it and I’ve never looked back.

The notes in this work so well together and really complement each other to create something truly magical. The notes that stick out for me are Plum and Amber (one of my all time favourite notes). MF is one of those easily detectable scents; if I smell this on someone else my head instantly turns.

I would defiantly recommend this for evening wear as it embodies, for me, the idea of romance and everything that comes with it, when I close my eyes and smell this I imagine a hand held stroll under the city lights at midnight (no pun intended).

This scent, for me, is linked quite heavily to my emotions due to the time in my life when I began wearing it so maybe I’m a little biased when I say this is everything a perfume should be. I honestly believe it will stand the test of time and be around years from now....

sweet, yet fruity and fresh! not over-powered!

This is very sweet. I quite like that all I mainly smell is plum, cherry and vanilla but at the same time it makes it a boring scent.

I bought it yesterday because they had this perfume on offer . I sprayed it in the shop and fell in love immediately. It really is like BBW dark Kiss.......I love this series so I am very happy I bought Midnight Fantasy.

It is a sweet, fruity fragrance for all occasions I think - good during the day for work as well as a nice seductive fragrance for the evening with your loved one .

This opens with a sparkling burst of sour plum and berries, it almost smells fizzy like lemonade. Absolutely gorgeous fruity and vanilla scent. Makes me think of fairies at a midnight ball in an enchanted garden.

Got given a 30ml bottle of this for Christmas and its still nearly full so that's a good sign that I'm not to keen! But..... For some reason I still like the smell it's kind of a love/hate thing going on with this perfume. It's very strong a couple of squirts each side of your neck will last all day but do not wear this if u work closely to others as I can imagine them getting sick of it very fast! Weird berry/vanilla mix plums are in there smells very sweet bug dark an musky at the same time. Not keen in tw bottle I think the curious bottle in the dark purple would suit this perfume as if you like the original curious which I love it then I think you may like this one even though they do smell at all the same I think you have to be a certain type of person to wear curious and curious is my signature scent I always get asked what I'm wearing when u have it onthe same with this one except people could be asking because you smell like a blueberry pie! Either way britneys perfumes have excellent staying power I think better than any other expensive brand so she has to take credit for that!

I have not tried this, but I really want to soooo badly. I have the regular Fantasy and I am so obsessed with it. I bought circus fantasy thinking the notes sounded yummy but I was disappointed by the soapy dry-down. I'm worried about buying this without smelling it first but it sounds divine!

EDIT: So I finally tried this. It smells like sour cherries for sure. The dry-down is quite nice but it doesn't really stick out in my mind like the regular Fantasy, which I find absolutely delicious. This is like a B+, but maybe not an A. I may have to try it one more time just to be sure.

it smells really fruity! the iris really gives it a outdoor night time smell to it. i know its not listed in the notes but i smell blue berrys.

It is different from the original but still very good. I would say that it has a little less vanilla.

This one is too synthetic for my nose. Floral fruity that reminds me of most Escada summer LE. The name midnight fantasy does not suit there, I would call it day fantasy or midday fantasy because the word midnight associates with something dark sexy mysteriuos what i miss in this one. The original fantasy is more mature, more sexy, real gourmand perfume.The name midnight would suit for original better. This one is nice unoffencing but thats all..

I ALWAYS get compliments everytime i wear this, and people always ask me what scent this is.

I love how it smells like dark cherries/blueberries with a perfect mix of vanilla. Its perfect for winter. It seems to warm me up during cold days lol! I wear it for both day and night, its perfectly suitable for both occasions, indeed a very versatile scent!

However, it can smell like bug spray on hot days/summer. So you might not want to overdo it on warm days or just keep it for winter. But i still use it during summer though,lol! I dont care because it smells SO good,SO yummy!

Sillage is awesome with the ability to last throughtout the whole day. The dark blue bottle is very very pretty, decorated with swarvoski crystals, it just makes me feel like a princess wearing this scent! Its round shape provides great grip, unlike some other weirdly-shaped bottles (eg Angel) where i have to fumble around when spritzing it.

Britney has one of the best celebrity perfumes around. Hands Down.
I have Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, and Curious. Curious was a total failure for me, i couldnt seem to like it no matter how much i tried. I eventually gave it away.
I love both Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy, but i always find myself wearing Midnight Fantasy much more than Fantasy! Midnight Fantasy is actually like Fantasy but with blueberries and dark cherries. Its more unique than Fantasy. Don't get me wrong, Fantasy is a very lovely scent, just that it smells like alot of other gourmand perfumes on the market.

I used to LOVE this! But while attending a family event in Goergia we stayed at a hotel and one of the rooms was taped off like a crime scene I swear to god this perfume was sprayed all over the place to cover up the smell of something horrible and rotten, it literally made me want to vomit it was so horrible, cant get rid of the association, sad...

If you like/enjoy B & B Works Dark Kiss, you will love this. Very seductive but it is SWEET. I get a lot of musk that comes out on my skin. My husband and son (14) really liked this on me. I wore it on a cold night in February and they both were snugly and wanted hugs! :) Dark kiss is described as having a blend of voluptuous berries, tempting blooms and night musk. There is a lot of similarities between that and BS MF in my opinion!
The bottle is pretty for the price tag. I got my large bottle on clearance at Target in the US for only $14.00 so it was a good buy. I will wear this at home on evenings when I want to feel sweet, cozy and enjoy a glass of port by the fireplace in my wool socks and jumper/sweater! Cheers!

I can't remember if I've reviewed this one... But I recently fell in love with this perfume all over again! A friend got me a 30ml bottle of this for my 18th and it's nearly all gone. I have recieved so many compliments and guys around my work follow me and ask me if its me who smells so good! I wear this on nights out and it makes me feel sexy and gorgeous and that really attracts the guys! Can't wait till my next payday as I'm investing in a 100ml version!

All I picked up on this one at first was the smell of Blueberries even though it isn't listed in the notes but after futher examination of the notes listed on here I guess I can totally see how the blend of notes could end up smelling like Blueberries :)
It reminds me of one of the The Strawberry Short Cake Dolls that was suppose to smell like Blueberries (Perhaps her cat??)that I had when I was a kid in the 80's..
Its Not a Sexy Scent or an elegant scent or even a pretty scent but its definitely a Cute scent and I like it.

I just bought this one today and i was amazed....its very very different and unique....its sweet but there is a tinge of sourness which makes it perfect....i didn't find it annoying sweet at all(i think cause its pretty cold here).

It's something strange to say, but I actually feel like I'm chewing gum when I wear this. That's the scent I got the first time I tested it - bubble gum.
Sometimes it gives me headaches, but only when it's too hot. I like to wear it when the weather is cooler. Like other BS fragrances, you have to be careful on the dose. A little goes a long way!

Midnight Fantasy is like that Yuppie drink - you know you shouldn't, but you reach for it when you have that weird craving.
It is a sweet sugary fruity thing, super bright and super-girly. Despite the notes listed, I can mostly smell raspberry and/or blueberry and artificial sweetener. Yes, it is not a fragrance masterpiece, it may even smell cheap. But who cares?

I already owned Fantasy when I was sniffing away at Britney's other scents at a local fragrance sale one day. I sprayed this on a test strip, brought it to my nose, and the rest is history.

Unlike the sweet gourmand chocolatey-ness of Fantasy, this one is warm - full of dark exotic fruits. On my skin it is quite strong and boozy at first, but given a few minutes to settle and warm up, I get dark cherry and plum which eventually dries down to an amber/musk. Not to sweet and not too sour. I would advise not to spray too much, as it can be somewhat headache-inducing in large quantities.

Lasting power is good, my skin normally drinks fragrance, but I get about 5 hours with this one.

Guaranteed when you wear this you will be stopped on the street, in the mall, in the elevator etc... and people will tell you that they love the smell and ask what it is. There is something very special about this perfume.

Midnight Fantasy is like a blueberry pie with a hint of bubblegum. Very warm, cosy & sweet with a slight tart sourness to it which stops it being too sugary.

This scent is not one to take seriously, but just to wear for a casual night with friends or to just snuggle up at home.

i dont care if it smells a little cheap, it's just such a fun energizing and a bit naughty smell for summer nights, its even a little mysterious. smell mostly dark berries, gets very ambery as it goes along but keeps that dark sweetness.

I have to agree with everyone that it is very fruity and sweet. I got this as a Christmas present, I didn't known what to expect in the luminous box. When I first opened it, I was completely smitten by the bottle design. I never tried any of the other Britney Spears Fantasy collection, but this scent is just absolutely stunning in my opinion, it's a candy-like smell that is soft and just something nice to wear. On my skin, it's not very noticeable but it lasts for a long time. I definitely love it, it's one of my favourites and I just can't stop smelling it! I even went out of my way to get another bottle and my dad even stole it for himself. I wouldn't recommend it for people who like "mature" scents, as it /is/ sweet and candy-like. But hey, I don't discriminate against age and I think that anyone - regardless of age will like it if sweet and fruity is their thing.

For me, and on me, this smells like pure candy. In a GOOD way!
Its light, bubbly, candy-ish and somewhat fruity but not overly sweet.

I found it by 'accident' about a year ago, my eye was drawn to the bottle (I have a thing for dark blue bottles and bling), and the second I smelled it I said 'Candy!' and felt happy. I 'm not that keen on Britney Spears in genereal (as a person/performer) and was a bit reluctant to wear a perfume with her name on, I admit to that. But tried it on, and couldn't stop sniffing it. In the end, I went back to the store and bought it. And when the bottle was empty, I bought another one..

It is not a wow-scent in any way, but it is a happy, easy-to-wear everyday scent. The sillage is next to zero, and I think that is perfect for a daytime perfume, you need to get close up and personal to really smell it, and it doesn't bother people around you.
It needs to be applied frequently and mor 'splashed' on than sprayed on though, as it does not last very long.

It maybe don't get me loads of compliments, but still noone has disliked it (the way it smells on me), and the ones fortunatley to get just 'up close and personal' really have liked it.

Tweeny, cloying, syrupy and synthetic fruity "perfume". It saddens me this even gets passed off as perfume. If you're an adult...and remotely think like one....this is horrible. I thought the bottle was neat and my sister gave it to me (she didn't like it, either). I would give it credit for it's longevity....if it were a fragrance you'd want longevity from. Quite the contrary, actually.

Absolutely night perfume or cold day. I guarantee most of men on earth crush on this scent. Full of fruit and sweety. I can't deny.

Nice frag. Really fruity. Truly smells like berries (blueberry and/or raspberry) with vanilla cream. Smells awfull when you spray it on, but gets much better within a couple of minutes.

I really smell a dark cherry/blueberry base. I love it, one of the few food scents that I like!

I always thought if I were a diabetic, it would come from my mom's genes.
But Midnight Fantasy might actually play as the factor.
The notes in MF never changed for me, and it was all straight up pure berries.
This is definitely one of the sweetest-smelling perfumes I own.
It doesn't really smell like perfume to me because I have a 'fresh berries'-scented air freshener that smells almost identical to MF.
ONE SPRAY is all you need! More than that may induce a sugar coma.
Personally, it's too sweet for me, but if you're looking for a berry smell, Midnight Fantasy is what you want.

This is a really great smell. So sweet, girly, night out. But unfortunately, in just a little time I was already sick about it :(

It's official, I'm a Britney Spears FanGrrrl! *squeals* And I have the perfume to prove it!

I found this at a discount department store chain, still in the cellophane, I couldn't pass it up.
I've been wanting a sugary sweet gourmand, but everything I've tried, except this, has been unsavory.

The other gourmands I've sampled all had one thing in common, caramel or praline. Apparently there is something about that milky sweetness I don't like.
Midnight Fantasy is not creamy to me at all.
There is something TRYING to soften the loud sugary fruit, but I don't distinguish it as milky. Perhaps it's the flowers, or maybe the amber?

What the scent does smell like... well, it's hard to describe, blueberry is the first note to pop in my head, but it's not quite that... I'm just gonna call it a candied dark fruit fragrance.

It's sweet, I believe the sweetest I've smelled up to this point, it's strong, it projects, and it last awhile too.

I like it, a lot, and it'll be a fun evening out scent. Probably layered over the remnants of a green daytime perfume.

Pink Sugar combined with Love Spell. Not terrible but defintely not what I was hoping for. I wanted the creamy, delectable blueberry muffin-like scent that everyone else seems to get from it. It's tolerable for me and draws a few compliments despite the so-so lasting power but I don't think I will be too disappointed when it's gone.

The bottle looks great in the ad, like the mysterious night sky, but in person it looks a little tacky... I never understood the Fantasy bottles but at least the scents aren't so bad.

I hate the origional fantasy (its too overly sweet on my skin, all i get is sugary water) so i was a bit weary about trying this but i bought it as a blind buy as it was cheap and i wanted to give it a go. at first i didnt like this at all so i put it right to the back of my perfume collection. then one day i decided to give it another go, and im glad i did! I really like it. when i first spray it i get lovely juicy blueberries, then as the day goes on its heavenly. it develops into a nice creamy vanilla with just a hint of sweetness.

I'm the fan of blueberry in yoghurt, ice cream and milkshake. So my husband no surprised that I have the perfume of blueberry smell. But something in this Midnight that botherd my stomach...I don't think it's a yummy.. I have no confident enough when wearing this although for the first time I wear this, 4 ladies gave me compliments.. Bravo!! They were coming close to me then ask me what the perfume is.. :) I was hoping Midnight smells like blueberry candy but not at all. In fact I was reminded of my laundry fragrance when first sprayed it. Really wanted to like it but it did not, and I also do not hate it ... or notyet? :D Hopefully one day it smells much better under my nose...because it also happend to me before, with Narciso Rodriguez for Her (pink)

After reading some positive comments about this perfume by some of my BFFF (best fragrant friends forever), I decided to give Britney Spears MIDNIGHT FANTASY a try and so picked up a tester bottle for myself. My first impression, upon spritzing this fragrance on the box in which it arrived was not very promising. It seemed sweet and purple and fruity and did not seem to hold much potential for olfactory interest.

However, I have found that, on my skin, MIDNIGHT FANTASY smells very different. It's almost an oriental scent with a buttery note not unlike that of JUICY COUTURE solid perfume. I'm not sure whether it's the medium which amplifies the buttery aspect of JC or actually contributes independently to the "butter" content of that composition, but I find the JC solid perfume to be VERY buttery. The buttery note of MIDNIGHT FANTASY is quite a bit less pronounced, but still unmistakeable to my nose.

I cannot say that the fruits and flowers are easy to tease apart or even to identify. Instead, MIDNIGHT FANTASY offers a layer of abstract florality and fruitiness anchored in a buttery but also slightly syrupy and vaguely oriental base. Yet it is not unbearably sweet. I do not think that this fragrance is more cloying than JC, and it is definitely less cloying than Van Cleef & Arpels FEERIE edp, which also happens to come in an apparently blueberry-inspired bottle.

The base of MIDNIGHT FANTASY has the same viscosity and thickness that I find in BELIEVE. There is some real heft to these fragrances, which have big sillage and impressive longevity and are certainly edps, not edts. I would compare the overall thickness, strength and complexity of MIDNIGHT FANTASY to that of Calvin Klein EUPHORIA, although the two compositions are very different. Both are heavy enough to be suited only for cold weather, it seems to me.

In the end, I have come to understand how so many of my BFFF (who are generally speaking perfume snobs (-;) own and wear this fragrance, and now that it's in my collection I'll probably wear it now and then. The bottle looked a bit tacky to me before reading that the rhinestones are actually Swarovski crystals which represent stars in the sky. That's a nice metaphor, and the bottle packs as much heft as what's inside, but there is still something somehow kitschy about it. Nonetheless, it joins the ranks of the SJP COVET and the Van Cleef & Arpels ORIENS bottles as extremely well-suited to use as implements of self-defense to fend off nocturnal intruders.

I have a huge love/hate relationship with this one. I bought Midnight Fantasy because I remembered liking the original Fantasy and a bunch of people said they liked this one better, so I bought this one instead.
The packaging for the Fantasy line is awkward to me. I don't think of fantasies when I see the silly bubble sitting on top of a bunch of coiled rings on top of an even larger bubble covered in random rhinestones. However, they are some of the most durable bottles and the color schemes of all of the different fantasies fit the fragrances pretty well. Midnight is no exception. The deep violet (which always comes up on camera as a dark navy) and sky bluish silver rhinestones fit the fragrance perfectly.
The fragrance is what I have an awkward feeling towards. When I first smelled it, it blew me away, but not really in a good way, more of a screaming, overly sweet way. In fact, if I were to describe this fragrance, it would be a scream that starts out very loud and intense that quickly dies down. This fragrance is sickly sweet to the point that, if I'm not in the mood to smell something sweet, I gag trying to smell this. However, it does remind me of blackberries, plum (which I recognized as soon as I smelled it), and cream, but not too much cream, otherwise it'd be smooth and very tolerable. However, this fragrance, like most sickly fragrances, is very addicting. Whether I like it that day or not, I still may spritz some on just because. This one is very similar to Bath and Body Works's Dark Kiss fragrance, but instead of the top note being blackberry and having a smooth tone, this has plum and is very, as I keep mentioning, loud.
The lasting power is also incredible. The fragrance is only strong for the first couple of hours, but the dry-down will stay on your skin until you shower. By this time, I'm usually trying to keep my arms as far away from me as possible.
While I can't say I love it or even like it near as much as I remember enjoying the original fantasy, I can say that I occasionally enjoy this one very much. I give it a 6/10 for being both wearable and unwearable.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my husband's aunt's house. When we walked through the front door, I instantly smelled Tinkerbell bubble bath, circa 1970. I haven't smelled Tinkerbell for decades. I didn't know if my scent memory was accurate, until after an hour or so my husband said, "Do you smell Mr. Bubble?" In fact, I thought I did. I remember powdered bubble bath, when I was very young, that smelled like baby-oilish, cherry vanilla chewing gum -and I'm sure it must have been Mr. Bubble. The fragrance of childhood bubble bath is delightful, fun, uplifting, and happy. However, this fragrance was so SO strong, I got a terrible headache within two hours. By the end of the evening, my eyeballs hurt, and I felt like the fragrance had seeped into my pores. The strange thing is, it took me awhile to identify the wearer. It seemed like the scent was everywhere. As the evening waned down I realized that for most of the visit, I had been with, or near, my husband's 19 year old cousin. Since she was talking to me, our conversation eventually turned to the subject of fragrances, and I asked what she was wearing. She proudly told me "Midnight Fantasy" as if it was JAR Bolt of Lightning. I couldn't help but adore how much she loves her perfume. Midnight Fantasy is a loveable, pretty scent. (I do love most of Britney's fragrances, esp. Curious). I think this young lady must have 1. Over-applied 2. Reapplied at least every half hour, over-applying each time. As pretty as it is, be careful with this one - it could give some '80's scents a sillage run for the money!

yummy smell. i can definitely smell cherry and the berry elements in this one. its popular among my friends and boys love this. i usually wear it for a night out or shopping with the girls. its a fun and hippie scent. however this can be very sweet and cloying for sometimes. especially if its used too much or used during the hot days. please don't wear it during summer. everyone around you will suffer because of its sweetness. as the name suggest, it really is a night scent, a sexy one. plus the bottle is really charming. the price is very reasonable too.

I don't like this fragrance at all. My sister has a bottle that she received as a gift, and she dislikes it too. It is overpowering, far too sweet - cloying and sickly in fact, and the bottle is incredibly tacky. I liked Curious, but this does not compare.

Love this perfume,smells like blueberries and cherries. its quite strong but not sickly to me. Only a small spray is needed as it lasts all day. One of my personal favs :)

This smells like sweet juicy apricots & berries with a dash of cream on me! I love apricots, though its not lsted, it must be the cherry/plum fruit combo achiveing this. Its nice! surprisngly, i would never have tried it, if it wasnt for fragranticans reviews. Dislike the bottle, however easily decant into another, though this is relatively cheap, i do not find its synthetic or cloying.

smells like blue berrys

I love this perfume. It lasts so long. Only a few sprays are needed, or else you might give yourself and/or others a headache. It's sweet, dark, tempting. Guys like it. I don't like any of Britney's perfumes, except this one. It's beautiful and I think it's appropriate for ages 16+.

oh weird. the first time i tested this out on my skin it smelt like a blueberry vanilla pie. now that i have purchased it (from a different shop), the bottle i have bought smells straight up like blueberry lollies or shisha! i get no vanilla at all. i don't mind having no vanilla though. either way, this perfume is amazing to my nose :)

ut seriously... i don't understand how the smell differs from bottle to bottle. they should always remain the same. it's quite unprofessional of the company :P

Midnight Fantasy is a delightful whirlwind of yummy cherries, plum, vanilla and sugared orchids. This perfume is not formal or very serious. It is happy, fun and very girly. It makes me think of Sugar Plum Fairy in a sparkling lilac dress twirling to beautiful music on stage with vanilla snow and candied trees.

The opening is a bit boozy like a blueberry wine but very soon all I can smell are lovely juicy plum and cherries. This delectable combination of plum and cherries shines through all stages of this lovely perfume and it is so delightful. I also love tender orchids in the heart notes complimented by the fruits. After a couple of hours the scent turns into the comforting and pleasant sweet vanilla and amber. The scent has decent sillage and longevity.

Midnight Fantasy is my favorite from the Fantasy line. I think it is more interesting than Fantasy and easier to wear than Hidden Fantasy. The fruity notes are done quite nicely. I definitely recommend this to try for fruity gourmand lovers. Overall score is 7/10.

I saw this last night at my local Sears, beside the cash and on sale. I decided to smell it, and fell in love with the sweet fruitiness of it. The bottle was totally adorable as well!
I thought about it all night, and went back and bought it today!
They also have the Circus one on sale, and I tried it, but wasn't really taken with it. I do keep thinking about it though. I think I"ll go back and try it again and see what I think!

Very nostalgic for me. I bought it immediately before a vacation and wore it almost exclusively on that trip. Yes, it is VERY sweet, but not like a giant bowl of sugar poured on everything, but sweet like fruit, blueberries to be exact. But there is plenty of musk in this, at least to me. And the fruit/musk balance is pretty even. It smells edible. Dark, yes, sweetly sexy, yes. I'm not the biggest fan of blueberry scented things, but this one is an exception. Its one I have to be in the mood for, but when I am, oh wow its good. Definitely a continuous arm-sniffer!

too fruity- smells like Shisha not for me at all

AMAZING!! It has become one of my favorite perfumes so far! Very fuity, it's sweet but not headaching. Beautiful, SO MUCH better than the original Fantasy!

This perfume is not amazing when you first put it on however once it settles it smells lovley couldn't stop sniffing my wrist!! Defanitly a good buy :)

Its really really really strong and it last all day. Its nice when it settles down but it just smells like the darker berries thats all you can actually smell. Almost like an air freshener.

Midnight Fantasy is a way different from its pink sister. I love the pink one, I enjoy sweet gourmands, Britney has a good fame by her creations and after reading the notes and all the reviews I decided to purchase and give a chance to MF thinking it probably would be a great buy. I couldn't be more wrong.

I hated the smell since the first time I put my nose on it. In my skin it stinks, it is too simple, cheap, nothing sophisticated and delicate as the Pink Fantasy. Blueberry Pie doll's scent, Blueberry gum, blueberry candles, blueberry muffin, you can call it by all this.

I think the reason is that, IMO, there isn't balance between the heart (flowers) and the (fruity) first notes. The fruits killed all the others notes, the fragile flowers and even the vanilla, weakly noticeable. A "plumberry" screams without stop, like a neon, strong, synthetic. Actually, I think this aren't fruits from nature, but from a lab, its smells like chemical, a disgusting creation. Nauseating, in my skin.

If I was on a blind test with this I' d say it is one of the cheap sweet fruity Victoria Secrets body splashes or a exotic Demeter frag, like Blueberry cake, gum, candy, etc. or even a new exotic (and bad) creation from the crazy mind of T. Mugler. Maybe they wanted to create something new like Mugler always does in his parfums, but this experiment here didn't work well. Maybe the problem is my body chemistry...
All I know is, for me, it was a huge deception.

Midnight Fantasy seems to have mixed reviews. I thought midnight fantasy might be nice according to its notes. I presumed wrong. Its sickly sweet. Theres no blueberry in the notes, so it must be the sour cherry mixed with the plum, but to me it smells slightly like blueberry fruit. A very sickening take on blueberry. I find it a very heavy scent and it leaves me feeling nauseous with a headache. I dont know how anyone could stand to wear this scent.

If compare it to Pink fantasy this is stronger and sweeter in heavier way. Personally i dont like this one, it make my head spin.

This is my favourite fragrance so far. It is everything that i look for in a perfume - fruity, sweet, girly, and long lasting. Heaven!

Nice and fun scent but cannot be considered classy or mature.

It is nice but gives me a headache so I would not wear it on me.Very much resembles a mix of bubble gum and washing powder-what makes it a little infantile,yet cute.I would recommend it to girly girls,mostly teens.It's like Britney in her teens;)

This is my favorite Perfume from Britney Spears. It smells so delicious! Its a Mix of Fruity and Floral and I love the Bottle it looks like a Genie Bottle. I do Recommend this Perfume.

Hate this one, smells far too sweet and cant breath when I wear it. Candyshop in a bad way! Had to sell it. I like the "pink" Fantasy much much much more.

I'm getting a lot of raspberry and vanilla. Raspberry isn't listed on the ingredients, but perhaps it's the sour cherries. I like it a lot, but don't love it. It's quite strong and lasts the day very well. It's is also quite nutty as well, and that sits well with me. It would best suit Gen Y'ers and younger, however, I'm 39 and wear it anyways as I love trying new fragrances! This is sweeter than Fantasy, and a tad better as far as my tastes go...

For what this perfume is intended to be, I'd say verry good job. But if compring it to what the bottle reminds me of and tht is Dior's midnight Poison...it's junk. But I dont mean junk in a bad way... I just mean it's really not up to par with the biggies but again if you are looking for a teen'ish fruity floral with a slight edge this is a fantastic choice :).I imagine this might be a nice scent to fall asleep to with the cherry and vanilla mixed in with blues such as iris.

And the bottles from Britney's line really look and feel great in person...much better than in the pictures

The opening note is sweet berry/cherry, but the fruit has a crisp sweetness to it in the opening notes that sets it apart from Dark Kiss. Then it softens to a fruity vanilla with just a touch of musk. There's a bit of floral once the initial burst of fruit settles, but the floral does not stand out. This is dark fruit scent primarily.

This is one of my most loved perfumes and I tend to wear it on special days such as dates and to dinners, or if I just want to smell amazing. I find it smells quite warm and loving. If your after a Britney fragrance this is the one to get. When ever I wear it people always compliment it.

I don't like Britney Spears but I have to admit the fragrance promoted by her name is really very good. If you want sweet fragrances, gourmand ones (I like them, not everyday but from time to time), it's a very good offer-and not very expensive one.

Midnight Fantasy is of a very good quality, compared to this of Escadas (Desire Me, Incredible Me, Absolutely Me). Its lasting power and projection are good. I detect cherry, plum, raspberry, orchid and iris the most. The fragrance is thick and cosy, kind of oriental gourmand, good to use during cold days but not only, day&night (night will be better but I was wearing it during day and I managed ;) ). Bottle is a bit kitschy, but better than this in Fantasy or Circus Fantasy.

Actually cherry is the most prominent note here.

I just got it. I made almost a blind purchase, I read so much good reviews and I thought it must be good, so I bought 50 ml (1.7 oz) bottle and now I smelled it - IT IS JUST BRILLIANT! I love it, it is so sweet, but it's not bad at all. I can't describe which notes I can smell best, but I think I can smell cherry and vanilla the best. But it's also like a blueberry cupcake. It is just so delicious perfume, I love it! It smells good and I am quite sure that when this bottle is empty, I will buy a new one. Sorry about my bad English, but YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I forgot to add: when i was young , i was in love with my Blueberry Pie doll's scent! (from the Strawberry shortcake dolls)... I used to drag her around with me and this perfume reminds me of those sweet times... :D without the plastic!

I got my newest 100 ml bottle: gorgeous bubble of grape coloured , and blue Swarovski gemmed bottle out . Just the bottle is alluring! This is my favorite of B.S. collection. Those fruit seem like they should forbiden! Delectably long- lasting and honey sweet, it is a seductive potion which gets attention! I have an exhaustive collection of 'Haute -Couture' frags but in fall, I tend to turn again and again to this gourmet frag which my b.friend and friends just love to sniff saying it comforts them. Indeed, the black cherry, the plum and the heart in which i detect strongly the night orchid is a heart warmer! The amber, musk and vanilla leaves a yummy sillage and remains on the clothes i wear ( a thing i looove. I have never been told it was overpowering or too sweet. Just that I smelled delicious! Being a gourmand lover, it is just perfect for me . Caroline Sabas is a great nose... this one gets a ten on ten from me. *(reminds me of Orchidée de minuit by Yves Rocher which i used to wear.. good day fellow fragranticans!

To me this smells like a sweet and creamy rice-pudding with juicy plum-jam and a sugar frosting with vanilla and cinnamon.
It´s delicious and yummy. A dark and rich scent, best for autumn and winter.
I really love it, it´s my second favourite of Britneys perfumes.

My aunt gave me this.At first its kind of sickeningly sweet and heady,like you've jumped in a vat of candy.
Then after about five minutes it settles down and becomes interesting as if you've walked out of the candy store into the night as the notes become more subtle and the sick fruitiness floats away.I don't smell any vanilla just the lingering floral notes and I don't wear this much, but I spray it in the lining of my jewellery box.Every time I open it it sort of hits me like whoa and its a good feeling.

When I first saw Chandler Burr's review of this scent(on NYTimes), i thought i was quite catched by his description - a "neon sweets/ultra-gourmand" one. These words reminds me of YSL's In Love Again, also a super neon fruity scent, and arises my curiosity. So finally, I bought one.

It did smell as...somebody throws the blueberry or fruit jam pie on you face! You feel the instant gourmand pie base, the juicy fruity fillings flow and then drop from your face. People may like it or hate it, but this first impression actually quite ordinary, there are dozens of products in the market starts alike. So What surprise me is， the later part of scent.

Midnight Fantasy starts to show its various tricks when the loud opening calms down. It still remain a fruity-vanilla one, but every time you notice its existence, it seems slightly differ from before, while if you keep examine and try to capture how the difference begin, often you find nothing, it seems the same yet after a while there are differences. This makes the whole scent a very interesting and attractive one. A young lady, gets her mind loaded with every fanciful idea, changes her minds all the time and immediately has a more capricious new one.

When I wear Midnight Fantasy, it seems to “watch” this swinging energetic young lady, and the watch gives me lots of delight and fun.

Another from hate to love story for me.
As I tried it at first it seemed like some super sweet synthetic soft drink smell. This seemed like a complete opposite of what a perfume should smell, utterly synthetic and weird.
Then, later trying for more times I got hooked up. It reminds me of the cherry flavored wet and sweet tobacco for the water pipe, I believe there's something darker in it than just the notes state.
Now I have a 50ml bottle of it and I'm loving it. This is truly a beautiful creation, it's a love potion of a modern fairy, enchanting, synthetic, mysterious and with a dangerous attitude. I also love the bottle, it's beautiful deep royal blue color with those shiny swarowskis, a staple of a modern fairy princess.
I totally imagine it on a beautiful cyber goth girl dessed in shiny pvc clothes, giant wedges and sythetic dread locks (google the look if you like).

Which came first, Midnight Fantasy or Moonlight Magic by BBW (which then morphed into Secret Wonderland). I think Midnight Fantasy and I do like it. I was cleaning out closets and came across a tube of Moonlight Magic body cream and a small bottle of Midnight Fantasy, they smell so much alike. MM is a bit more powdery as is Secret Wonderland, but BBW always has deals on the Secret Wonderland lotions/handcreams and you use them with the Midnight Fantasy for staying power. Well at least that's my plan. I like plum/berry scents so the powder quality might mellow the Midnight Fantasy a bit and soften the edge. I just love serendipity.

I have always been drawn to the fruity-floral fragrances & in fact the sweeter the better! But even after reading the reviews for MF I was still hesitant to try it b/c I had tried other Britney Spears perfumes & hated them! Esp the original Fantasy. Well I tried Midnight Fantasy & it was love at first sniff. It is my favorite scent now. I agree it does smell like a blueberry cake but in a good yummy way. The lasting power is fantastic & even in the dry down I can still smell the original plum/blueberry notes. I would highly recommmend!

I think we should all agree to post that we will gladly mail someone our dud's that someone else out of our perfume friends may be hankering for rather than have it just end up in the rubbish. I just threw this out it always bothered me when I wore it.Its sharp Grape KooL aide just too strong not a nice fragrance to wear.Its one of the few fragrances that I had to dump.Even the bottle coloring chipped.I see it gets great reviews but it wasn't for me.

This mixed with regular fantasy smells great.

I really want and try to like MF, but it's so heavy and for me oriental and super intense. Just can't take a breath. Nothing fresh in this fragrance, super sweet and unpleasent. Love Moon Sparkle and can say they are absolutely different. Moon Sparkle is sweet, but fresh and soft, and MF is only sweet and very heavy, make me sick. Don't buy this fragrance, if you like fresh, fruity smell, like me. But if you like oriental vanilla, strong perfumes, this is for you. Just not what you think, believe me!

Scrubbed. Scrubbed again with alcohol. Had to lie down. Returned beautiful blue bottle to Marshal's. Questioned my understanding of the order of the universe...

Over dramatic, I know, but after reading all the glowing reviews, loving original Fantasy, quite liking Circus Fantasy and Hidden Fantasy, my negative reaction to Midnight Fantasy blindsided me. To me, this is a fruit-scent-concocted-in-a-sterile-lab, trapped-in-a-yankee-candle-store, industrial-bathroom-deodorizer-named-"voodoo berry" freak show. This from one spritz.

I've never been this harsh about a frag - especially one so loved by others. But it makes me ask "what the heck?"

This is my happy fragrance! I have other high end, sexy, serious as well as masculine fragrances in my collection but every time I put this on it makes me happy instantly. In fact Midnight Fantasy is much better than Fantasy IMHO. I couldn't stand Fantasy, too sweet and sugary in nauseating kind of way. Not my cup of tea. If you like fruity scent or plum/blackberry, you should try this. Midnight Fantasy is fresh, tart, juicy and fun! I love to wear this at home, when I'm just relaxing around. Sure, I have the original Poison to wear. But sometimes sweet and simple kind of fragrance is enough for me. After all, why so serious? And juvenile? Come on, gimme a break!

P.S - The bottle is kind of cute! Rainydays was right, the color is deep royal blue.

To me, this smells like Suave raspberry shampoo. It smells good, but obviously the shampoo is the cheaper alternative.

I couldn't find much difference to the pink Fantasy. To me they smelled the same. But then again I wouldn't want to test pink-sugar-like scents on my skin, so maybe there are other notes on the skin than on paper.

I bought this after I smelt it on my friend who was mentioning that she has received a lot of compliments since she started using it. I don't tend to start using a fragrance a friend already uses, on this occasion I thought why not and I'll just use it when I'm not seeing her!

Agree with the reviewer below, if I could pin this fragrance to a food it would be a blueberry cupcake. Definitely sweet, so don't bother with this if you don't like sweet and fruity scents, however it doesn't quite lend a burnt sugar note like several other popular scents (flowerbomb (which I personally do like), pink sugar, fantasy etc). In large doses I think I could quite easily feel nauseous, but I'm glad I got it and I think I'll use it on more dreary/cold days and nights, not a summer scent in my opinion as I think heat would make this overpowering and cloying.

As always, I would suggest spraying it in a store perhaps in two areas, then leave it for a few hours to both test if you like it enough to purchase and also if it lasts on your skin :).

I expected this to be quite sweet, like the original Fantasy... it definitely is not! (at least, on my skin) It's quite sour. At first it's far TOO sour, I was really unhappy with it. But as time passes, it mellows, and I start to get a little bit of the vanilla. Not really sensing the blueberry everybody is talking about... I'm getting underripe plum and black cherry (I usually hate cherry notes, but it just comes across as fruity). This would work fine as a daytime scent, it's not dark, heavy, or overwhelming, just apply using a light hand.
PS. The bottle is darker than the picture shows, it's actually a lovely, rich royal purple/blue.

Don't underestimate this perfume! It might seem "cutesy" because it's a Britney fragrance but it's not- it's VERY strong and you could easily over-spray it and get a serious headache. If you spray a tiiiiny spray in your cleavage, that's enough. I love the blueberry opening, it's so juicy and sweet. Then, the flowers kick in and they're in your face and screaming. Then, after the dry down, you're left with a pleasant but potent fruity-floral scent. This would be so much better as an eau de toilette or body spray- something more watered down. I would never be able to spray this around other people as it would suffocate everyone around me to death. I like this but I prefer less obnoxious scents, so it's not a favorite.

Well next to fantasy this is the only other one I like by britney spears, well this scent is by all means sophisticated in anyway no how, it is ment to be a fun playful scent. I def smell the plum and cherries in this one and nothing else it has a sour/sweet smell to it kinda like what a plumy cherry sour patch kid would smell like. It is a nice fragrance for the fall/winter season. Lasting power I would say is not that great, fantasy last longer. I can spray this on and not smell it at all verses fantasy which i can get hints of troughout the day non the less it is a nice perume well balanced out and just pretty

Im sorry to say i hate this fragrance, i really wanted to like it. I cant smell the blueberries only a very strong synthetic lemon smells with a dash of synthetic cherry syrup. actually the first thing that hit my mind was urinal blocks heated midday afternoon smell. Sorry for the crudeness but it is exactly what it smells like. Was hoping the drydown will be nicer, but no..it s a linear fragrance , doesnt really suit the name midnight fantasy, i really cant see why so many people 'love' it.

very very very over powering

fruity gourmand perfumes tend to lose their frutityness halfway their lifespan then you are left with the gourmand note through the journey but this one the plum really stays from the beginning to the end. its like a sweet cupcake smell with plum and cherry frosting in it.you know when you eat fruits it always have the sweetness and the sourness unlike when you cook the fruit it loses its sourness..well MF doesnt lose that sourness it just makes the scent more realistic..and take note its not blueberries its plum i know blueberries and its hardly in this fragrance..

My hairdresser's daughter let me try her Midnight Fantasy and I was instantly reminded of my no longer loved Escada Moon Sparkle. I gave it to her so she could save her beloved MF for special occasions. Perfumes deserve to go to loving homes.

Midnight Fantasy is exceedingly lovely. It's a really gorgeous and complex fragrance. It does smell a lot like blueberries, to my delight. I do like Fantasy a tad bit better: for it's more candy-like & the bottle is the prettiest of pink. They both have amazing lasting power. With both of these you'd never need another fragrance: it's impossible to tire of either. Great job, Miss Britney. If only Radiance was as interesting: that perfume seems like an awful mistake (designed for a geriatric).

Smelling this reminds me of biting into a very tart blueberry that hasn't yet ripened. It almost makes my mouth pucker. There is such a sweetly sour bite to this and I can almost taste it. I agree that something about it does smell like Dark Kiss from B&BW (probably the plum note), but this is much much better. There is something about Dark Kiss that I find annoying sticky and sappy - and I don't smell it in Midnight Fantasy. It carries a hint of freshness, but sweetens up as it wears on. This scent is potetnt, and is decently longlasting. Sweet, tart, fruity fun.

oh i am SO DISAPPOINTED by this! i paid full price for the 1.7oz bottle because i needed a cozy/warm perfume for wintertime, as well as for nights out. i thought this would smell something like dior midnight poison or armani code, but no.. all i smell is sour cherries and raspberries. this smells like a body splash for preteen girls. it doesn't really stink; actually it smells quite good and i enjoy it, but the packaging and name are totally misleading. eh... guess i still need to shop around for a winter/nighttime perfume...

This strange midnight swirl is a good thing, but nothing, absolutely nothing as compared to Midnight Poison by Christian Dior. Britney Spears is a songbird, and someone who knows almost nothing in the perfume industry. This is good, but very less lasting.
I am not spending my precious money on the strange berry scent.

This reminds me of a slice of blueberry pie and a scoop of vanilla icecream, but in a perfume form. Good warm scent for colder weather.

I looooove this perfume since the first time it came out. I love sweet fruity floral perfume, and it feels yummy. Really really love this scent!

As I am not in any way a Britney Spears fan, I almost feel guilty for liking this fruity little concoction as much as I do. I normally prefer citrus fruits, but the sweet berry and plum combination here is utterly irresistible. It makes me feel carefree, and the sweetness of the fruit spills over into my personality all day. I don't find it particularly sensual or mysterious (as the "midnight" connotation might suggest) but cheerful and enthusiastic and fun. A wonderful (if oddly named) scent.

Love this sent. I was out shopping with my mom the other day and they had a sale shelf of women's frags and I picked up this one. it was a hard decision for me because I had to chose between "Circus Fantasy" or this one. And to be honest, I think no matter which one I chose I would have regretted leaving the other, no matter, I picked "Midnight Fantasy" because its so different from anything I own already. I still can't get "Circus Fantasy" out of my mind though. anyways, great lasting power and the smell is so fruity and yummy. it isn't overpowering which is good, because I go to a sent free school and tend to break the rules. this is a sent that isnt likely to get me caught if I walk by a principal or a tattle-tale. :P But its still well enough that my friends notice and complement.

Midnight Fantasy has to be one of my favorite perfumes off Britney's Fantasy line. To me, it smells like Blueberry's. It's really sweet and the last power is about 5 hours.

I wore this to a wedding a few days ago and I got so many compliments. I gave people a lot of hugs and when they were finished they were like, "Oh my God, you smell delicious!" I even had people wanting to use it. (I had the bottle with me in my bag)

I'm the type of person that wears different scents depending on what I'm doing/where I'm going. I feel that, at least for me, Midnight would go good with practically anything. A fun day at school, mall time with your besties, weddings outside. I think this perfume is FABULOUS. I love it a lot.

i agree with nevo. i just purchased this today and put on abt 3,4 sprays at around 6 pm and u see the smell is still on me and now its already 11.30 pm. its really carrying a fruity smell but wow, i feel so cheeky and playful! guys u cant have serious and heavy smell everyday, sometimes somehow u need this nice smell to cheer up ur day :-)

I adore this scent. It's my favorite of the fantasy range and also my favorite Britney Spears perfume overall.

It's blueberry-tastic on my skin (even though blueberry isn't listed in the notes) with strong undertones of vanilla and the fruity cherry note.

As it dries down, the amber is a little more prominent too, but throughout blueberry remains the dominant note...which is lucky as I love blueberry.

It's quite a fun scent. It reminds me of warm summer evenings drinking fruity smoothies and watching the sunset. It's not the kind of perfume to wear to the office in my opinion.

The lasting power is pretty good on me. I find that it stays fairly strong for about 5 hours and then starts to fade until it's disappeared after about 8 hours.

For the first 2-3 hours it has a pretty good sillage too, but after that it tends to stay close to the skin, but still pretty strong.

For anyone who loves blueberry and vanilla perfumes this is an ideal scent. I rate it as a 9/10

Once again, I am dissapointed. I wore Fantasy, and it was sweet, warm and fruity. I thought this would be a creamier and perhaps woodier version. I was wrong. This turns into a bright and watery fruit salad on my skin. It would be better suited for a morning Luau, than a midnight rendevous.

I normally don't like really fruity perfumes like this, but this one actually has a nice smell to it. At first, it smells strongly of plum and mostyly black cherry. It's tart, but not sour. After it dries down a bit, a few of the flowers start to pick up, but the plum really starts to become the main fruit scent. Finally, the dry down is a nice, warm ambery-vanilla. It's an excellent scent for a summer night...I recommend it. :)
*Just a warning- It does smell a bit like blueberry candy, so if you really don't like candy scents, I'm not sure you'll like this.

Sigh...I wanted to like this one, but it was just too sweet. VERY sugary, candied grape--headache-inducing for me. Lasting power OK, 4-6 hours. I think this is best suited for very cold weather, and I probably would have liked it from age 7-12. Too bad--the bottle is VERY cute, a much deeper blue than these awful pictures are showing.

i bought this than original fantasy with an expect some dark and midnight ways but im so disappointed thing about midnignt in this perfume. it just too fruity im agree with peps said this kind a body splash than perfume but it last longer in my body

Not a fan of this one although I do love the original Fantasy. This is just too flat and fruity, more like a body splash than a perfume. The bottle is way too pretty for the juice inside.

I love this perfume! It is really sweet & fruity, so if you aren't into that I recommend you to not smell it at all. My mom got a big headache. :D I think it's for young women & older teenagers, somewhere between 16-28 would be my range. :D I find it to be cheerful & exotic, but at the same time a bit seductive. The plum is very strong, after it I can really smell the orchid & you just know there's vanilla. :) So it's nice combo. Scent also reminds me of Escada's Sunset Heat.
The only downside is that it doesn't last for a very long time, you do need to spray it few time throughout the day if u want to have that "first spray" scent all day long.

i love love love it. it smells sooo good. it smells like cupcakes. warm and fruity. such a yummy fragrance. i totally fell in love with it. it is very cute but not too sweet. why haven't i tried this one earlier? unfortunately i have heard that this is going to be discontinued. does anybody know if this is true??

I think its a bit too sweet for me to wear.

But I want to get some to use as a room spray and for my bedding as I find it's a simple but comforting and homely smell.

UPDATE: I am a total convert I've finally sprayed some of my sisters on myself (quite a few hours ago now) its surprisingly nowhere near as sickening on my skin as I imagined it was going to be, it is seriously yummy!

Plus I can still smell it hovering round me now, without having to sniff at my wrists, from literally one spray!

I'm going to buy some tomorrow when I'm out for wearing to work as it seems like one of very few smells that might be able to contend with the strong whiff of coffee!

I'm torn with the bottle the shape makes it very compact and easy to stick in a handbag and the colours pretty (this is the nicest of the bunch) but there's just something about all the fantasy bottles makes them seem slightly tacky, but that's just my personal opinion (and irrelevant to the juice)and I'm sure many find them really cute!

This perfume is pretty hardcore (projection/longevity) and it's lovely and sweet but not sicky - winner!
and it's cheap as chips - bonus!!! :)

You know i actually had this and i dont know why Honestly this smells nice like a lot of things do I mean fruit has a pleasant aroma Especially blueberries And candy smells nice too But really can you call that worthy of a perfume That you walk around all day wearing I just feel like ive sprayed liquid starburst all over me I guess ive just realised that we have crossed the line of wearing classy smelling perfumes to adding just about anything to them now days Including wearing candy YUCK!!!

Ugghh. Tried this on my hand in an airport today and thought it a SCRUBBER! Very strong, very fake, 'blueberry' smell. Shame as love the name and bottle, don't think the perfume itself does them justice.

I LOVE it. It's sweet, but different and mysterious. It's strong, and quite different from Fantasy. Even if you don't like Britney, give this perfume a chance.

When I smelled this, I suddenly realized that Dark Kiss from Bath and Body Works smells JUST like this! I mean it's like they downgraded Midnight Fantasy into a cheaper version. But it smells nice. Why but this for 20-30$ when I can have Dark Kiss?

Tried this on holiday recently; it smelled fantastic for the first 10 minutes, sweet and adorable, like vanilla frosting on cupcakes, yummy! I got the vanilla notes immediately although these are in fact the base notes...! Then slowly but surely these awful strong "dark" notes came out, synthetic and most unpleasant on my skin, could have been the amber mixed with unripe plums then doused in something like diesel oil. Terrible... I guess this was the "midnight" part LOL. I had to wash off the perfume in the end. A pity as I really loved the perfume in the beginning. Alas, the "fantasy" was over for me! Britney still makes great perfumes though - "Radiance" is lovely!

this is definitely one of my favorite perfumes of all time. its indescribable in my opinion because ive never smelt anything like it.

i dont usually like floral perfumes but i love this one as it is a fruity-floral. as for the notes i smell vanilla very strongly in this, plum and raspberry. i also smell hints for musk and white flowers.
it is just beautiful on. it can be worn in the day or at night but i think it is more of a night fragrance.
it kind of smells like these really expensive candles my mom used to buy that just fill the whole room with bursts of mysterious sexy scent! the price is great and it lasts a very, very long time. the only downside is because it is fairly strong and warm scented if you use too much it gives you a headache, but theres an easy way to avoid that..DONT WEAR TOO MUCH! definitely a favorite of mine though.

I am in love with most of the notes of this fragrance. The perfume is surprisingly everlasting. It lingers on and on,,,Whenever i need to feel enchanted and yummy, i spray this perfume..
It makes me feel that i am a delicious girl, young, and seductively innocent.

I tried this in the duty-free shop when i was in Thailand and heading home yesterday. First I tried the original fantasy, then this midnight, and hidden. There wasn't any circus fantasy, so i can't compare with that. According to my nose, this one is very sweet! Not in a yuck-ish way. But in a good way! And this is much lighter then the original fantasy. Am going to go buy this as soon as I can :D

Now it grew too sweet for me! I don't like it that much anymore. Do not purchase this if you live in a tropical country.

I wanted to try Fantasy but my boyfriend said he might love Midnight Fantasy more from reading the notes of the two, plus so many gurus seems to enjoy the unique MF more, so I decided to get this one instead. From hearing so many compliments from you guys, I believe MF will become one of my favorites soon! :D

I love this perfume! I have a "knock off" of this,and it smells delicious! It smells like blueberry pancakes or muffins to me! But there is something sweetly musky about it too.I bought from someone who uses synthetic/non-animal musk.I know this is off topic,but I'm pretty sure most perfumers nowadays use the non-animal musk.

I have never smelled a perfume like this before! I love that it is very unique,delicious,and magical! My heart is quite taken with Midnight Fantasy.

This scent lasts and lasts! It is not really what I would call a "dark" scent per say. I kind of reserve the term dark more for the resins,patchouli,woody mix variety scents.But it is all about each persons individual perception.I find this to be more fun/yet sophisticated,but with tinges of seduction,also sweet,light hearted,endearing,fairies playing and dancing.This perfume is fun enough,yet alluring enough to be in a couple of different scent type categories. I really do not feel that scents have a true age or gender though. Wear what you love in freedom! :0) This would smell lovely on a man,on a child,on a woman,on a great grandmother,really anybody who falls in love with it! It makes lots of people so happy to smell a perfume scented just like baked blueberry muffins,pies,and pancakes,YUM!

Lasting power is crazy! My hubby says this is his fave of the Britney frags; he says it smells like sexy cotton candy. Seriously, he says I smell delicious! Lol I like it too b/c it lasts and lasts. Get lots of compliments too. :)

I wanted this fragrance for the bottle. I have Hidden Fantasy which I like very much and I wanted the bottle to go with it. I had already smelled Midnight Fantasy and I must admit, I really did not like it that much. It is very, very sweet on myself. I put here that I like it but that is about all I can say and I say that with a leaning to the negative side of like. The bottle is beautiful and it looks lovely aside Hidden Fantasy. ;-) If you like very sweet, the grab this one.

it smells more sweet on my skin when the weather is warm/hot than cool. In cool weathers, it smells a bit more sour, like a skittle! :)

but beware, do not over-spray this magical potion! it's strong and lingers on your skin for at least 12 hours!! (on my skin anyway). I reckon it's best to spray in air and walk-in it for an overall yummyness :)

I haven't got a bottle of it yet, but I have tried it on at stores a several times and this is my opinion of this perfume so far :) I'm planning to get a bottle very soon!

The top, middle, and base notes are all blended together lovely so the scent does not change much whilst you wear it. You can't really smell flowers at all in this, just fruit and hints of vanilla. It truly smells like sweet plums/blueberries warm cupcake. This is quite warm but I think it's very suitable to wear in hot weather, as long as you don't overdose in it! And in cooler weather, I can smell the sour cherry a bit more, making the scent smell like purple skittles on me. :)

I really do not want to give this perfume a good review as I am scared everybody will start wearing it!!!

I purchased the 30ml of this (blind purchase), thinking I'd do better with a smaller bottle just in case it wasn't to my tastes. Not very wise, I know. But I have no regrets.

Apart from the bottle looking lovely - like a cute, star-flecked sphere plucked from the night sky, this is an AMAZING perfume. I wasn't too fond of Britney's original Fantasy fragrance as it didn't smell nice and sweet to me. More so overly cloying, strong and headache-inducing. This is coming from someone who loves gourmand perfumes. Maybe I will like it if I give it another for chance but I much, MUCH prefer Midnight Fantasy.

It is so unusual - like nothing I've smelled before! Sweet blueberries whipped with sugary cream and vanilla. Ribbons of soft amber and musk weave the blueberries and vanilla together nicely. A light spritz of cherry juice compliments this delicious potion that you'll be likely to get compliments on.

I haven't exactly worn it out yet as I only got the bottle today but I can already hear the: "What is that perfume? It smells yummy!" comments. ;D That does sound a bit silly and you might think that my expectations for this are over the top, but I bet a lot of people can agree. It is DIVINE. Luckily, I haven't detected any of that "boozy" scent others have mentioned on my skin. Phew (not too fond of boozy scents, haha).

This is one of those perfumes that, to me, smell great even on the first spray. The top notes, middle notes and base notes are all wonderful and compliment each other nicely. There's no sharp alcohol fumes when I first spritz it on my skin (this may not be the case with everybody, of course).
It lasts a long time (shame I'm only wearing it around the house right now) and every so often you will catch whiffs of it. Delicious, feathery vanilla and fruit wafting around you.

For those who have not tried this yet, TRY it! Of course it isn't for everybody but chances are you will like it. If you don't, that's okay too. :)

I tried not to fall in love with this midnight spell but, oh, it's so lovely! Too fruity, too girly for me, I know, too sour and sweet maybe but I cannot stay away from it. Sometimes I dislike it and would only use it as room spray but sometimes I feel the need to wear it and that's why I bought a second bottle of it (it doesn't happen often with me). It's flirty and comfortale, juicy, it's pure cherry and vanilla, to me it's also strawberry and lemon, the floral side is just tender and soft, it would be a perfect cuddle in winter but I also wear it and enjoy it a lot during spring and summer. It's not one of those perfume I was expecting to love, that's why I'm so surprised, but I guess it doesn't matter why you love a fragrance, it matters that you do.

I love sweet fragrances but this is just over the top sweet. Smells like you're wearing Dime-a-tap!

It smells like sweet blueberries to me (must be the cherry/plum combo). I don't really pick up on any other notes in it. It's alright, but not that interesting to me.

i love it! i think this is the best perfume i had so far!

This scent makes me smile. I get a fizzy blackberry smell, if that makes sense. It is very fruity and i love that. Last for very long time on me and the scent kinda stays behind after u leave the room :) My boyfriend loves this and i always get compliments when i wear it. One downside to this scent is that people will give you strange looks when your walking down the street frantically smelling your own wrist. mmmmmmmm yummy

Perks me up effectively without giving me a headache like other sweet fragrances...nice!!!(^-^)v

I really fell in love with this scent when it first was launched. I bought it and used to spray it all around me and just smell the delicious berrylike scents and the plums. I don't feel the same now, but rembers why I liked it. It's sweet, somewhat deep and fruity. Now I think it does smell a little bit to ... young on my skin. I used it as a teenager, and I think it suits teenagers too. On me the plum is very overpowering, and I find the scent a little bit too artificial, but I remeber I didn't mind about that when I was younger. I used it as a daytime perfume, and I must day I think this is one of the better Britney-perfumes. Much better than Fantasy, that I also used to like. It's juciy and quite OK. I think the bottle's color suits the scent quite well, too.

too sweet and sickly for me!!

Midnight Fantasy happens to be my absolute favorite from the Fantasy series..I really didn't expect that, because it's the last I've tried out of them and the one I've always thought about "No, I would never purchase it". Too sweet, too cloying, too candy-like for my tastes...
But today something changed between me and MF: maybe my perception/mood/body chemistry? Who knows! I guess this is another scent that - a bit suprisingly - works better for me during warm weather.

Intriguing and playful could be two suitable adjectives to describe this fragrance.
The first breath I take from my wrists is all about sugared wildberries and synthetically sweetened dark fruits: I love this combination as it vividly reminds me of those purple Big Bubble's I used to chew at the primary school!
Through the developing of MF I can't really detect the floral notes listed above (orchid, freesia and orris), on me this scent keeps playing the same fruity melody until the very end, smoothened and softened by the undeniable creaminess of vanilla and the depth of amber in the base.
Before Midnight leaves me, after about three hours since spraying, a kind of delicious and relaxing freshness is laying on my skin..like a summer breeze at night.

Right now Midnight Fantasy is bringing me so many memories from my childhood: carnival dresses, stolen sweeties and candies, first make-up's, wildberries picked with my cousin..
Just when I was thinking I would have never really liked anything from Britney Spears, this little blue treasure found me :)

UPDATE (01.03.12) Today I found this wonderful fragrance for a discounted price and I simply had to get me the 30 ml bottle! The packaging is beautiful, the fragrance smells waaaay better on my skin than Fantasy (I was going to buy this one but unfortunately it behaves weirdly with my chemistry, too sour/amberish for at least the first hour.. I honestly wished the cupcakes to come out earlier). I think MF is going to become my spring-summer everyday, carefree scent (hoping it will bring a bit more of sunshine in my life, too..). I just have to add that it has not that massive sillage on me so I feel I can use it during daytime despite of its name ;) Creamy, breezy blue deliciousness!

everyone seems to like Midnight Fantasy. But I don't, it smells like jelly tip, very sweet and fruity. Circus Fantasy on the other hand is somewhat nicer.
