Midnight Fantasy Britney Spears for women

I have to agree with everyone that it is very fruity and sweet. I got this as a Christmas present, I didn't known what to expect in the luminous box. When I first opened it, I was completely smitten by the bottle design. I never tried any of the other Britney Spears Fantasy collection, but this scent is just absolutely stunning in my opinion, it's a candy-like smell that is soft and just something nice to wear. On my skin, it's not very noticeable but it lasts for a long time. I definitely love it, it's one of my favourites and I just can't stop smelling it! I even went out of my way to get another bottle and my dad even stole it for himself. I wouldn't recommend it for people who like "mature" scents, as it /is/ sweet and candy-like. But hey, I don't discriminate against age and I think that anyone - regardless of age will like it if sweet and fruity is their thing.

Its light, bubbly, candy-ish and somewhat fruity but not overly sweet.

I found it by 'accident' about a year ago, my eye was drawn to the bottle (I have a thing for dark blue bottles and bling), and the second I smelled it I said 'Candy!' and felt happy. I 'm not that keen on Britney Spears in genereal (as a person/performer) and was a bit reluctant to wear a perfume with her name on, I admit to that. But tried it on, and couldn't stop sniffing it. In the end, I went back to the store and bought it. And when the bottle was empty, I bought another one..

It is not a wow-scent in any way, but it is a happy, easy-to-wear everyday scent. The sillage is next to zero, and I think that is perfect for a daytime perfume, you need to get close up and personal to really smell it, and it doesn't bother people around you.
It needs to be applied frequently and mor 'splashed' on than sprayed on though, as it does not last very long.

It maybe don't get me loads of compliments, but still noone has disliked it (the way it smells on me), and the ones fortunatley to get just 'up close and personal' really have liked it.

Tweeny, cloying, syrupy and synthetic fruity "perfume". It saddens me this even gets passed off as perfume. If you're an adult...and remotely think like one....this is horrible. I thought the bottle was neat and my sister gave it to me (she didn't like it, either). I would give it credit for it's longevity....if it were a fragrance you'd want longevity from. Quite the contrary, actually.

Absolutely night perfume or cold day. I guarantee most of men on earth crush on this scent. Full of fruit and sweety. I can't deny.

Nice frag. Really fruity. Truly smells like berries (blueberry and/or raspberry) with vanilla cream. Smells awfull when you spray it on, but gets much better within a couple of minutes.

I really smell a dark cherry/blueberry base. I love it, one of the few food scents that I like!

I always thought if I were a diabetic, it would come from my mom's genes.
But Midnight Fantasy might actually play as the factor.
The notes in MF never changed for me, and it was all straight up pure berries.
This is definitely one of the sweetest-smelling perfumes I own.
It doesn't really smell like perfume to me because I have a 'fresh berries'-scented air freshener that smells almost identical to MF.
ONE SPRAY is all you need! More than that may induce a sugar coma.
Personally, it's too sweet for me, but if you're looking for a berry smell, Midnight Fantasy is what you want.

This is a really great smell. So sweet, girly, night out. But unfortunately, in just a little time I was already sick about it :(

It's official, I'm a Britney Spears FanGrrrl! *squeals* And I have the perfume to prove it!

I found this at a discount department store chain, still in the cellophane, I couldn't pass it up.
I've been wanting a sugary sweet gourmand, but everything I've tried, except this, has been unsavory.

The other gourmands I've sampled all had one thing in common, caramel or praline. Apparently there is something about that milky sweetness I don't like.
Midnight Fantasy is not creamy to me at all.
There is something TRYING to soften the loud sugary fruit, but I don't distinguish it as milky. Perhaps it's the flowers, or maybe the amber?

What the scent does smell like... well, it's hard to describe, blueberry is the first note to pop in my head, but it's not quite that... I'm just gonna call it a candied dark fruit fragrance.

It's sweet, I believe the sweetest I've smelled up to this point, it's strong, it projects, and it last awhile too.

I like it, a lot, and it'll be a fun evening out scent. Probably layered over the remnants of a green daytime perfume.

Pink Sugar combined with Love Spell. Not terrible but defintely not what I was hoping for. I wanted the creamy, delectable blueberry muffin-like scent that everyone else seems to get from it. It's tolerable for me and draws a few compliments despite the so-so lasting power but I don't think I will be too disappointed when it's gone.

The bottle looks great in the ad, like the mysterious night sky, but in person it looks a little tacky... I never understood the Fantasy bottles but at least the scents aren't so bad.

I gave MF a lot of chances. I sniffed it all throughout high school trying to like it. I had MF 3 years ago in a teeny bottle and didn't like it. I tried it again last month thinking my tastes may have changed. The resulting expierence was me putting a MF tester strip in my coat pocket and later wondering out loud what smelled so bad and obnoxious. My boyfriend just pointed to my coat pocket after I had complained, it's pretty funny how dumb I am sometimes.

MF is both too sour and too sweet at the same time. I also really hate the cherry note because it comes off cough syrupy. Some ladies think MF is a holy grail of yummyness but I couldn't disagree more.

I hate the origional fantasy (its too overly sweet on my skin, all i get is sugary water) so i was a bit weary about trying this but i bought it as a blind buy as it was cheap and i wanted to give it a go. at first i didnt like this at all so i put it right to the back of my perfume collection. then one day i decided to give it another go, and im glad i did! I really like it. when i first spray it i get lovely juicy blueberries, then as the day goes on its heavenly. it develops into a nice creamy vanilla with just a hint of sweetness.

I'm the fan of blueberry in yoghurt, ice cream and milkshake. So my husband no surprised that I have the perfume of blueberry smell. But something in this Midnight that botherd my stomach...I don't think it's a yummy.. I have no confident enough when wearing this although for the first time I wear this, 4 ladies gave me compliments.. Bravo!! They were coming close to me then ask me what the perfume is.. :) I was hoping Midnight smells like blueberry candy but not at all. In fact I was reminded of my laundry fragrance when first sprayed it. Really wanted to like it but it did not, and I also do not hate it ... or notyet? :D Hopefully one day it smells much better under my nose...because it also happend to me before, with Narciso Rodriguez for Her (pink)

After reading some positive comments about this perfume by some of my BFFF (best fragrant friends forever), I decided to give Britney Spears MIDNIGHT FANTASY a try and so picked up a tester bottle for myself. My first impression, upon spritzing this fragrance on the box in which it arrived was not very promising. It seemed sweet and purple and fruity and did not seem to hold much potential for olfactory interest.

However, I have found that, on my skin, MIDNIGHT FANTASY smells very different. It's almost an oriental scent with a buttery note not unlike that of JUICY COUTURE solid perfume. I'm not sure whether it's the medium which amplifies the buttery aspect of JC or actually contributes independently to the "butter" content of that composition, but I find the JC solid perfume to be VERY buttery. The buttery note of MIDNIGHT FANTASY is quite a bit less pronounced, but still unmistakeable to my nose.

I cannot say that the fruits and flowers are easy to tease apart or even to identify. Instead, MIDNIGHT FANTASY offers a layer of abstract florality and fruitiness anchored in a buttery but also slightly syrupy and vaguely oriental base. Yet it is not unbearably sweet. I do not think that this fragrance is more cloying than JC, and it is definitely less cloying than Van Cleef & Arpels FEERIE edp, which also happens to come in an apparently blueberry-inspired bottle.

The base of MIDNIGHT FANTASY has the same viscosity and thickness that I find in BELIEVE. There is some real heft to these fragrances, which have big sillage and impressive longevity and are certainly edps, not edts. I would compare the overall thickness, strength and complexity of MIDNIGHT FANTASY to that of Calvin Klein EUPHORIA, although the two compositions are very different. Both are heavy enough to be suited only for cold weather, it seems to me.

In the end, I have come to understand how so many of my BFFF (who are generally speaking perfume snobs (-;) own and wear this fragrance, and now that it's in my collection I'll probably wear it now and then. The bottle looked a bit tacky to me before reading that the rhinestones are actually Swarovski crystals which represent stars in the sky. That's a nice metaphor, and the bottle packs as much heft as what's inside, but there is still something somehow kitschy about it. Nonetheless, it joins the ranks of the SJP COVET and the Van Cleef & Arpels ORIENS bottles as extremely well-suited to use as implements of self-defense to fend off nocturnal intruders.

I have a huge love/hate relationship with this one. I bought Midnight Fantasy because I remembered liking the original Fantasy and a bunch of people said they liked this one better, so I bought this one instead.
The packaging for the Fantasy line is awkward to me. I don't think of fantasies when I see the silly bubble sitting on top of a bunch of coiled rings on top of an even larger bubble covered in random rhinestones. However, they are some of the most durable bottles and the color schemes of all of the different fantasies fit the fragrances pretty well. Midnight is no exception. The deep violet (which always comes up on camera as a dark navy) and sky bluish silver rhinestones fit the fragrance perfectly.
The fragrance is what I have an awkward feeling towards. When I first smelled it, it blew me away, but not really in a good way, more of a screaming overly sweet way. In fact, if I were to describe this fragrance, it would be a very loud scream that starts out very loud and intense but very quickly dies down. This fragrance is sickly sweet to the point that if I'm not in the mood to smell something sweet, I gag trying to smell this. However, it does remind me of blackberries, plum (which I recognized as soon as I smelled it), and cream, but not too much cream, otherwise it'd be smooth and very tolerable. However, this fragrance, like most sickly fragrances, is very addicting. Whether I like it that day or not, I still may spritz some on just because. This one is very similar to Bath and Body Works's Dark Kiss fragrance, but instead of the top note being blackberry and having a smooth tone, this has plum and is very, as I keep mentioning, loud.
The lasting power is also incredible. The fragrance is only strong for the first couple of hours, but the dry-down will stay on your skin until you shower. By this time, I'm usually trying to keep my arms as far away from me as possible.
While I can't say I love it or even like it near as much as I remember enjoying the original fantasy, I can say that I occasionally enjoy this one very much. I give it a 6/10 for being both wearable and unwearable.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my husband's aunt's house. When we walked through the front door, I instantly smelled Tinkerbell bubble bath, circa 1970. I haven't smelled Tinkerbell for decades. I didn't know if my scent memory was accurate, until after an hour or so my husband said, "Do you smell Mr. Bubble?" In fact, I thought I did. I remember powdered bubble bath, when I was very young, that smelled like baby-oilish, cherry vanilla chewing gum -and I'm sure it must have been Mr. Bubble. The fragrance of childhood bubble bath is delightful, fun, uplifting, and happy. However, this fragrance was so SO strong, I got a terrible headache within two hours. By the end of the evening, my eyeballs hurt, and I felt like the fragrance had seeped into my pores. The strange thing is, it took me awhile to identify the wearer. It seemed like the scent was everywhere. As the evening waned down I realized that for most of the visit, I had been with, or near, my husband's 19 year old cousin. Since she was talking to me, our conversation eventually turned to the subject of fragrances, and I asked what she was wearing. She proudly told me "Midnight Fantasy" as if it was JAR Bolt of Lightning. I couldn't help but adore how much she loves her perfume. Midnight Fantasy is a loveable, pretty scent. (I do love most of Britney's fragrances, esp. Curious). I think this young lady must have 1. Over-applied 2. Reapplied at least every half hour, over-applying each time. As pretty as it is, be careful with this one - it could give some '80's scents a sillage run for the money!

yummy smell. i can definitely smell cherry and the berry elements in this one. its popular among my friends and boys love this. i usually wear it for a night out or shopping with the girls. its a fun and hippie scent. however this can be very sweet and cloying for sometimes. especially if its used too much or used during the hot days. please don't wear it during summer. everyone around you will suffer because of its sweetness. as the name suggest, it really is a night scent, a sexy one. plus the bottle is really charming. the price is very reasonable too.

I don't like this fragrance at all. My sister has a bottle that she received as a gift, and she dislikes it too. It is overpowering, far too sweet - cloying and sickly in fact, and the bottle is incredibly tacky. I liked Curious, but this does not compare.

Love this perfume,smells like blueberries and cherries. its quite strong but not sickly to me. Only a small spray is needed as it lasts all day. One of my personal favs :)

Another winner from Maison Spears, this one has a burst of chilled black cherry but I oddly get a whiff of grape and currants. There is something jarring about this perfume - it doesn't have the bubblegum snap upfront as the other Fantasy flankers do, but rather a mysterious mix. Definitely a nighttime smell, this is ideal for a night clubbing (and hopefully dancing to Britney's hits!) or a concert. However this is midnight in a city - the darkness is offset by neon lights which is accounted for by the bold floral scent that creeps up after a few minutes. Try this perfume, but do it after dark because magic begins at midnight.

One of my favorite BS perfumes! I wear it ontop of BBW Dark kiss (identicle) or BBW Be Enchanted body lotions!!! Sinfully yummy!!!

I love this perfume. It lasts so long. Only a few sprays are needed, or else you might give yourself and/or others a headache. It's sweet, dark, tempting. Guys like it. I don't like any of Britney's perfumes, except this one. It's beautiful and I think it's appropriate for ages 16+.

Midnight Fantasy is a delightful whirlwind of yummy cherries, plum, vanilla and sugared orchids. This perfume is not formal or very serious. It is happy, fun and very girly. It makes me think of Sugar Plum Fairy in a sparkling lilac dress twirling to beautiful music on stage with vanilla snow and candied trees.

The opening is a bit boozy like a blueberry wine but very soon all I can smell are lovely juicy plum and cherries. This delectable combination of plum and cherries shines through all stages of this lovely perfume and it is so delightful. I also love tender orchids in the heart notes complimented by the fruits. After a couple of hours the scent turns into the comforting and pleasant sweet vanilla and amber. The scent has decent sillage and longevity.

Midnight Fantasy is my favorite from the Fantasy line. I think it is more interesting than Fantasy and easier to wear than Hidden Fantasy. The fruity notes are done quite nicely. I definitely recommend this to try for fruity gourmand lovers. Overall score is 7/10.

I saw this last night at my local Sears, beside the cash and on sale. I decided to smell it, and fell in love with the sweet fruitiness of it. The bottle was totally adorable as well!
I thought about it all night, and went back and bought it today!
They also have the Circus one on sale, and I tried it, but wasn't really taken with it. I do keep thinking about it though. I think I"ll go back and try it again and see what I think!

Very nostalgic for me. I bought it immediately before a vacation and wore it almost exclusively on that trip. Yes, it is VERY sweet, but not like a giant bowl of sugar poured on everything, but sweet like fruit, blueberries to be exact. But there is plenty of musk in this, at least to me. And the fruit/musk balance is pretty even. It smells edible. Dark, yes, sweetly sexy, yes. I'm not the biggest fan of blueberry scented things, but this one is an exception. Its one I have to be in the mood for, but when I am, oh wow its good. Definitely a continuous arm-sniffer!

too fruity- smells like Shisha not for me at all

AMAZING!! It has become one of my favorite perfumes so far! Very fuity, it's sweet but not headaching. Beautiful, SO MUCH better than the original Fantasy!

This perfume is not amazing when you first put it on however once it settles it smells lovley couldn't stop sniffing my wrist!! Defanitly a good buy :)

Its really really really strong and it last all day. Its nice when it settles down but it just smells like the darker berries thats all you can actually smell. Almost like an air freshener.

Midnight Fantasy is a way different from its pink sister. I love the pink one, I enjoy sweet gourmands, Britney has a good fame by her creations and after reading the notes and all the reviews I decided to purchase and give a chance to MF thinking it probably would be a great buy. I couldn't be more wrong.

I hated the smell since the first time I put my nose on it. In my skin it stinks, it is too simple, cheap, nothing sophisticated and delicate as the Pink Fantasy. Blueberry Pie doll's scent, Blueberry gum, blueberry candles, blueberry muffin, you can call it by all this.

I think the reason is that, IMO, there isn't balance between the heart (flowers) and the (fruity) first notes. The fruits killed all the others notes, the fragile flowers and even the vanilla, weakly noticeable. A "plumberry" screams without stop, like a neon, strong, synthetic. Actually, I think this aren't fruits from nature, but from a lab, its smells like chemical, a disgusting creation. Nauseating, in my skin.

If I was on a blind test with this I' d say it is one of the cheap sweet fruity Victoria Secrets body splashes or a exotic Demeter frag, like Blueberry cake, gum, candy, etc. or even a new exotic (and bad) creation from the crazy mind of T. Mugler. Maybe they wanted to create something new like Mugler always does in his parfums, but this experiment here didn't work well. Maybe the problem is my body chemistry...
All I know is, for me, it was a huge deception.

Midnight Fantasy seems to have mixed reviews. I thought midnight fantasy might be nice according to its notes. I presumed wrong. Its sickly sweet. Theres no blueberry in the notes, so it must be the sour cherry mixed with the plum, but to me it smells slightly like blueberry fruit. A very sickening take on blueberry. I find it a very heavy scent and it leaves me feeling nauseous with a headache. I dont know how anyone could stand to wear this scent.

If compare it to Pink fantasy this is stronger and sweeter in heavier way. Personally i dont like this one, it make my head spin.

This is my favourite fragrance so far. It is everything that i look for in a perfume - fruity, sweet, girly, and long lasting. Heaven!

It's red berries on a sweet vanilla base.
Nice and fun scent but cannot be considered classy or mature.

It is nice but gives me a headache so I would not wear it on me.Very much resembles a mix of bubble gum and washing powder-what makes it a little infantile,yet cute.I would recommend it to girly girls,mostly teens.It's like Britney in her teens;)

This is my favorite Perfume from Britney Spears. It smells so delicious! Its a Mix of Fruity and Floral and I love the Bottle it looks like a Genie Bottle. I do Recommend this Perfume.

Hate this one, smells far too sweet and cant breath when I wear it. Candyshop in a bad way! Had to sell it. I like the "pink" Fantasy much much much more.

I'm getting a lot of raspberry and vanilla. Raspberry isn't listed on the ingredients, but perhaps it's the sour cherries. I like it a lot, but don't love it. It's quite strong and lasts the day very well. It's is also quite nutty as well, and that sits well with me. It would best suit Gen Y'ers and younger, however, I'm 39 and wear it anyways as I love trying new fragrances! This is sweeter than Fantasy, and a tad better as far as my tastes go...

For what this perfume is intended to be, I'd say verry good job. But if compring it to what the bottle reminds me of and tht is Dior's midnight Poison...it's junk. But I dont mean junk in a bad way... I just mean it's really not up to par with the biggies but again if you are looking for a teen'ish fruity floral with a slight edge this is a fantastic choice :).I imagine this might be a nice scent to fall asleep to with the cherry and vanilla mixed in with blues such as iris.

And the bottles from Britney's line really look and feel great in person...much better than in the pictures

Really? Most people say they love this? Well, I LOOVE Britney Spears, and I really wanted to love this, but I can't. I bought a 1 oz bottle, excited to smell it, and I did and I was a little disapointed. I don't think sweetness + berries mix. It's kind of a sickening smell. I like this, it's just I don't LOVE it. I'm still going to wear it to parties and fun things like that, but it's definitly not an everyday fragrance for me.

The opening note is sweet berry/cherry, but the fruit has a crisp sweetness to it in the opening notes that sets it apart from Dark Kiss. Then it softens to a fruity vanilla with just a touch of musk. There's a bit of floral once the initial burst of fruit settles, but the floral does not stand out. This is dark fruit scent primarily.

I bought a huge 100ml bottle of this as I usually like Britney's perfumes. This one is very fruity, sweet and has serious staying power. My friends said they always knew when I was visiting them because they smelt me a mile away! As much as I liked this perfume, part of me is glad I finished it as it gave me a severe headache. I won't be buying it again.

This is one of my most loved perfumes and I tend to wear it on special days such as dates and to dinners, or if I just want to smell amazing. I find it smells quite warm and loving. If your after a Britney fragrance this is the one to get. When ever I wear it people always compliment it.

I don't like Britney Spears but I have to admit the fragrance promoted by her name is really very good. If you want sweet fragrances, gourmand ones (I like them, not everyday but from time to time), it's a very good offer-and not very expensive one.

Midnight Fantasy is of a very good quality, compared to this of Escadas (Desire Me, Incredible Me, Absolutely Me). Its lasting power and projection are good. I detect cherry, plum, raspberry, orchid and iris the most. The fragrance is thick and cosy, kind of oriental gourmand, good to use during cold days but not only, day&night (night will be better but I was wearing it during day and I managed ;) ). Bottle is a bit kitschy, but better than this in Fantasy or Circus Fantasy.

Actually cherry is the most prominent note here.

I just got it. I made almost a blind purchase, I read so much good reviews and I thought it must be good, so I bought 50 ml (1.7 oz) bottle and now I smelled it - IT IS JUST BRILLIANT! I love it, it is so sweet, but it's not bad at all. I can't describe which notes I can smell best, but I think I can smell cherry and vanilla the best. But it's also like a blueberry cupcake. It is just so delicious perfume, I love it! It smells good and I am quite sure that when this bottle is empty, I will buy a new one. Sorry about my bad English, but YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I forgot to add: when i was young , i was in love with my Blueberry Pie doll's scent! (from the Strawberry shortcake dolls)... I used to drag her around with me and this perfume reminds me of those sweet times... :D without the plastic!

I got my newest 100 ml bottle: gorgeous bubble of grape coloured , and blue Swarovski gemmed bottle out . Just the bottle is alluring! This is my favorite of B.S. collection. Those fruit seem like they should forbiden! Delectably long- lasting and honey sweet, it is a seductive potion which gets attention! I have an exhaustive collection of 'Haute -Couture' frags but in fall, I tend to turn again and again to this gourmet frag which my b.friend and friends just love to sniff saying it comforts them. Indeed, the black cherry, the plum and the heart in which i detect strongly the night orchid is a heart warmer! The amber, musk and vanilla leaves a yummy sillage and remains on the clothes i wear ( a thing i looove. I have never been told it was overpowering or too sweet. Just that I smelled delicious! Being a gourmand lover, it is just perfect for me . Caroline Sabas is a great nose... this one gets a ten on ten from me. *(reminds me of Orchidée de minuit by Yves Rocher which i used to wear.. good day fellow fragranticans!

To me this smells like a sweet and creamy rice-pudding with juicy plum-jam and a sugar frosting with vanilla and cinnamon.
It´s delicious and yummy. A dark and rich scent, best for autumn and winter.
I really love it, it´s my second favourite of Britneys perfumes.

My aunt gave me this.At first its kind of sickeningly sweet and heady,like you've jumped in a vat of candy.
Then after about five minutes it settles down and becomes interesting as if you've walked out of the candy store into the night as the notes become more subtle and the sick fruitiness floats away.I don't smell any vanilla just the lingering floral notes and I don't wear this much, but I spray it in the lining of my jewellery box.Every time I open it it sort of hits me like whoa and its a good feeling.

When I first saw Chandler Burr's review of this scent(on NYTimes), i thought i was quite catched by his description - a "neon sweets/ultra-gourmand" one. These words reminds me of YSL's In Love Again, also a super neon fruity scent, and arises my curiosity. So finally, I bought one.

It did smell as...somebody throws the blueberry or fruit jam pie on you face! You feel the instant gourmand pie base, the juicy fruity fillings flow and then drop from your face. People may like it or hate it, but this first impression actually quite ordinary, there are dozens of products in the market starts alike. So What surprise me is， the later part of scent.

Midnight Fantasy starts to show its various tricks when the loud opening calms down. It still remain a fruity-vanilla one, but every time you notice its existence, it seems slightly differ from before, while if you keep examine and try to capture how the difference begin, often you find nothing, it seems the same yet after a while there are differences. This makes the whole scent a very interesting and attractive one. A young lady, gets her mind loaded with every fanciful idea, changes her minds all the time and immediately has a more capricious new one.

When I wear Midnight Fantasy, it seems to “watch” this swinging energetic young lady, and the watch gives me lots of delight and fun.

it doesnt have a finishing it fades at the middle note dat leaves powder on the base...but like it...people never noticed me n i got terrible bad luck wen i use tis

Another from hate to love story for me.
As I tried it at first it seemed like some super sweet synthetic soft drink smell. This seemed like a complete opposite of what a perfume should smell, utterly synthetic and weird.
Then, later trying for more times I got hooked up. It reminds me of the cherry flavored wet and sweet tobacco for the water pipe, I believe there's something darker in it than just the notes state.
Now I have a 50ml bottle of it and I'm loving it. This is truly a beautiful creation, it's a love potion of a modern fairy, enchanting, synthetic, mysterious and with a dangerous attitude. I also love the bottle, it's beautiful deep royal blue color with those shiny swarowskis, a staple of a modern fairy princess.
I totally imagine it on a beautiful cyber goth girl dessed in shiny pvc clothes, giant wedges and sythetic dread locks (google the look if you like).

Which came first, Midnight Fantasy or Moonlight Magic by BBW (which then morphed into Secret Wonderland). I think Midnight Fantasy and I do like it. I was cleaning out closets and came across a tube of Moonlight Magic body cream and a small bottle of Midnight Fantasy, they smell so much alike. MM is a bit more powdery as is Secret Wonderland, but BBW always has deals on the Secret Wonderland lotions/handcreams and you use them with the Midnight Fantasy for staying power. Well at least that's my plan. I like plum/berry scents so the powder quality might mellow the Midnight Fantasy a bit and soften the edge. I just love serendipity.

My boyfriend says this perfume smells of "sherbert lemons"..........men seem to love this perfume

I have always been drawn to the fruity-floral fragrances & in fact the sweeter the better! But even after reading the reviews for MF I was still hesitant to try it b/c I had tried other Britney Spears perfumes & hated them! Esp the original Fantasy. Well I tried Midnight Fantasy & it was love at first sniff. It is my favorite scent now. I agree it does smell like a blueberry cake but in a good yummy way. The lasting power is fantastic & even in the dry down I can still smell the original plum/blueberry notes. I would highly recommmend!

BUMMER! (Shyn's Release)!!! :) lol! I've been dying to get a bottle of this, and you threw it out! I think we should all agree to post that we will gladly mail someone our dud's that someone else out of our perfume friends may be hankering for rather than have it just end up in the rubbish. I just threw this out it always bothered me when I wore it.Its sharp Grape KooL aide just too strong not a nice fragrance to wear.Its one of the few fragrances that I had to dump.Even the bottle coloring chipped.I see it gets great reviews but it wasn't for me.

This mixed with regular fantasy smells great.

I really want and try to like MF, but it's so heavy and for me oriental and super intense. Just can't take a breath. Nothing fresh in this fragrance, super sweet and unpleasent. Love Moon Sparkle and can say they are absolutely different. Moon Sparkle is sweet, but fresh and soft, and MF is only sweet and very heavy, make me sick. Don't buy this fragrance, if you like fresh, fruity smell, like me. But if you like oriental vanilla, strong perfumes, this is for you. Just not what you think, believe me!

Scrubbed. Scrubbed again with alcohol. Had to lie down. Returned beautiful blue bottle to Marshal's. Questioned my understanding of the order of the universe...

Over dramatic, I know, but after reading all the glowing reviews, loving original Fantasy, quite liking Circus Fantasy and Hidden Fantasy, my negative reaction to Midnight Fantasy blindsided me. To me, this is a fruit-scent-concocted-in-a-sterile-lab, trapped-in-a-yankee-candle-store, industrial-bathroom-deodorizer-named-"voodoo berry" freak show. This from one spritz.

I've never been this harsh about a frag - especially one so loved by others. But it makes me ask "what the heck?"

This is my happy fragrance! I have other high end, sexy, serious as well as masculine fragrances in my collection but every time I put this on it makes me happy instantly. In fact Midnight Fantasy is much better than Fantasy IMHO. I couldn't stand Fantasy, too sweet and sugary in nauseating kind of way. Not my cup of tea. If you like fruity scent or plum/blackberry, you should try this. Midnight Fantasy is fresh, tart, juicy and fun! I love to wear this at home, when I'm just relaxing around. Sure, I have the original Poison to wear. But sometimes sweet and simple kind of fragrance is enough for me. After all, why so serious? And juvenile? Come on, gimme a break!

P.S - The bottle is kind of cute! Rainydays was right, the color is deep royal blue.

To me, this smells like Suave raspberry shampoo. It smells good, but obviously the shampoo is the cheaper alternative.

I couldn't find much difference to the pink Fantasy. To me they smelled the same. But then again I wouldn't want to test pink-sugar-like scents on my skin, so maybe there are other notes on the skin than on paper.

In a word: yummy! I can't get tired of this beauty. Fruity and girly - great for daytime! Very well done, not a "cheap" perfume at all.

I bought this after I smelt it on my friend who was mentioning that she has received a lot of compliments since she started using it. I don't tend to start using a fragrance a friend already uses, on this occasion I thought why not and I'll just use it when I'm not seeing her!

Agree with the reviewer below, if I could pin this fragrance to a food it would be a blueberry cupcake. Definitely sweet, so don't bother with this if you don't like sweet and fruity scents, however it doesn't quite lend a burnt sugar note like several other popular scents (flowerbomb (which I personally do like), pink sugar, fantasy etc). In large doses I think I could quite easily feel nauseous, but I'm glad I got it and I think I'll use it on more dreary/cold days and nights, not a summer scent in my opinion as I think heat would make this overpowering and cloying.

As always, I would suggest spraying it in a store perhaps in two areas, then leave it for a few hours to both test if you like it enough to purchase and also if it lasts on your skin :).

I expected this to be quite sweet, like the original Fantasy... it definitely is not! (at least, on my skin) It's quite sour. At first it's far TOO sour, I was really unhappy with it. But as time passes, it mellows, and I start to get a little bit of the vanilla. Not really sensing the blueberry everybody is talking about... I'm getting underripe plum and black cherry (I usually hate cherry notes, but it just comes across as fruity). This would work fine as a daytime scent, it's not dark, heavy, or overwhelming, just apply using a light hand.
PS. The bottle is darker than the picture shows, it's actually a lovely, rich royal purple/blue.

Don't underestimate this perfume! It might seem "cutesy" because it's a Britney fragrance but it's not- it's VERY strong and you could easily over-spray it and get a serious headache. If you spray a tiiiiny spray in your cleavage, that's enough. I love the blueberry opening, it's so juicy and sweet. Then, the flowers kick in and they're in your face and screaming. Then, after the dry down, you're left with a pleasant but potent fruity-floral scent. This would be so much better as an eau de toilette or body spray- something more watered down. I would never be able to spray this around other people as it would suffocate everyone around me to death. I like this but I prefer less obnoxious scents, so it's not a favorite.

Well next to fantasy this is the only other one I like by britney spears, well this scent is by all means sophisticated in anyway no how, it is ment to be a fun playful scent. I def smell the plum and cherries in this one and nothing else it has a sour/sweet smell to it kinda like what a plumy cherry sour patch kid would smell like. It is a nice fragrance for the fall/winter season. Lasting power I would say is not that great, fantasy last longer. I can spray this on and not smell it at all verses fantasy which i can get hints of troughout the day non the less it is a nice perume well balanced out and just pretty

Im sorry to say i hate this fragrance, i really wanted to like it. I cant smell the blueberries only a very strong synthetic lemon smells with a dash of synthetic cherry syrup. actually the first thing that hit my mind was urinal blocks heated midday afternoon smell. Sorry for the crudeness but it is exactly what it smells like. Was hoping the drydown will be nicer, but no..it s a linear fragrance , doesnt really suit the name midnight fantasy, i really cant see why so many people 'love' it.

very very very over powering

fruity gourmand perfumes tend to lose their frutityness halfway their lifespan then you are left with the gourmand note through the journey but this one the plum really stays from the beginning to the end. its like a sweet cupcake smell with plum and cherry frosting in it.you know when you eat fruits it always have the sweetness and the sourness unlike when you cook the fruit it loses its sourness..well MF doesnt lose that sourness it just makes the scent more realistic..and take note its not blueberries its plum i know blueberries and its hardly in this fragrance..

My hairdresser's daughter let me try her Midnight Fantasy and I was instantly reminded of my no longer loved Escada Moon Sparkle. I gave it to her so she could save her beloved MF for special occasions. Perfumes deserve to go to loving homes.

This is migraine inducing for me, and I really don't understand where all the popularity comes from. The problem is the sour cherry. I find it really artificial smelling, it smells like cough syrup sour cherries. I would enjoy this fragrance deeply if it weren't for the horrid cherries. I'm really not a fan of sour smells or sour cherries. I recommend to try before buying if you dislike cough syrupy cherries and sour scents.

Midnight Fantasy is exceedingly lovely. It's a really gorgeous and complex fragrance. It does smell a lot like blueberries, to my delight. I do like Fantasy a tad bit better: for it's more candy-like & the bottle is the prettiest of pink. They both have amazing lasting power. With both of these you'd never need another fragrance: it's impossible to tire of either. Great job, Miss Britney. If only Radiance was as interesting: that perfume seems like an awful mistake (designed for a geriatric).

Smelling this reminds me of biting into a very tart blueberry that hasn't yet ripened. It almost makes my mouth pucker. There is such a sweetly sour bite to this and I can almost taste it. I agree that something about it does smell like Dark Kiss from B&BW (probably the plum note), but this is much much better. There is something about Dark Kiss that I find annoying sticky and sappy - and I don't smell it in Midnight Fantasy. It carries a hint of freshness, but sweetens up as it wears on. This scent is potetnt, and is decently longlasting. Sweet, tart, fruity fun.

oh i am SO DISAPPOINTED by this! i paid full price for the 1.7oz bottle because i needed a cozy/warm perfume for wintertime, as well as for nights out. i thought this would smell something like dior midnight poison or armani code, but no.. all i smell is sour cherries and raspberries. this smells like a body splash for preteen girls. it doesn't really stink; actually it smells quite good and i enjoy it, but the packaging and name are totally misleading. eh... guess i still need to shop around for a winter/nighttime perfume...

This strange midnight swirl is a good thing, but nothing, absolutely nothing as compared to Midnight Poison by Christian Dior. Britney Spears is a songbird, and someone who knows almost nothing in the perfume industry. This is good, but very less lasting.
I am not spending my precious money on the strange berry scent.

This reminds me of a slice of blueberry pie and a scoop of vanilla icecream, but in a perfume form. Good warm scent for colder weather.

As I am not in any way a Britney Spears fan, I almost feel guilty for liking this fruity little concoction as much as I do. I normally prefer citrus fruits, but the sweet berry and plum combination here is utterly irresistible. It makes me feel carefree, and the sweetness of the fruit spills over into my personality all day. I don't find it particularly sensual or mysterious (as the "midnight" connotation might suggest) but cheerful and enthusiastic and fun. A wonderful (if oddly named) scent.

Love this sent. I was out shopping with my mom the other day and they had a sale shelf of women's frags and I picked up this one. it was a hard decision for me because I had to chose between "Circus Fantasy" or this one. And to be honest, I think no matter which one I chose I would have regretted leaving the other, no matter, I picked "Midnight Fantasy" because its so different from anything I own already. I still can't get "Circus Fantasy" out of my mind though. anyways, great lasting power and the smell is so fruity and yummy. it isn't overpowering which is good, because I go to a sent free school and tend to break the rules. this is a sent that isnt likely to get me caught if I walk by a principal or a tattle-tale. :P But its still well enough that my friends notice and complement.

Midnight Fantasy has to be one of my favorite perfumes off Britney's Fantasy line. To me, it smells like Blueberry's. It's really sweet and the last power is about 5 hours.

I wore this to a wedding a few days ago and I got so many compliments. I gave people a lot of hugs and when they were finished they were like, "Oh my God, you smell delicious!" I even had people wanting to use it. (I had the bottle with me in my bag)

I'm the type of person that wears different scents depending on what I'm doing/where I'm going. I feel that, at least for me, Midnight would go good with practically anything. A fun day at school, mall time with your besties, weddings outside. I think this perfume is FABULOUS. I love it a lot.

i agree with nevo. i just purchased this today and put on abt 3,4 sprays at around 6 pm and u see the smell is still on me and now its already 11.30 pm. its really carrying a fruity smell but wow, i feel so cheeky and playful! guys u cant have serious and heavy smell everyday, sometimes somehow u need this nice smell to cheer up ur day :-)

I adore this scent. It's my favorite of the fantasy range and also my favorite Britney Spears perfume overall.

It's blueberry-tastic on my skin (even though blueberry isn't listed in the notes) with strong undertones of vanilla and the fruity cherry note.

As it dries down, the amber is a little more prominent too, but throughout blueberry remains the dominant note...which is lucky as I love blueberry.

It's quite a fun scent. It reminds me of warm summer evenings drinking fruity smoothies and watching the sunset. It's not the kind of perfume to wear to the office in my opinion.

The lasting power is pretty good on me. I find that it stays fairly strong for about 5 hours and then starts to fade until it's disappeared after about 8 hours.

For the first 2-3 hours it has a pretty good sillage too, but after that it tends to stay close to the skin, but still pretty strong.

For anyone who loves blueberry and vanilla perfumes this is an ideal scent. I rate it as a 9/10

Oh...one more thing...it officially lasted about 14 minutes on my skin. Zero staying power. Too bad, because the original Fantasy is one of my favorites.

Once again, I am dissapointed. I wore Fantasy, and it was sweet, warm and fruity. I thought this would be a creamier and perhaps woodier version. I was wrong. This turns into a bright and watery fruit salad on my skin. It would be better suited for a morning Luau, than a midnight rendevous.

I normally don't like really fruity perfumes like this, but this one actually has a nice smell to it. At first, it smells strongly of plum and mostyly black cherry. It's tart, but not sour. After it dries down a bit, a few of the flowers start to pick up, but the plum really starts to become the main fruit scent. Finally, the dry down is a nice, warm ambery-vanilla. It's an excellent scent for a summer night...I recommend it. :)
*Just a warning- It does smell a bit like blueberry candy, so if you really don't like candy scents, I'm not sure you'll like this.

Sigh...I wanted to like this one, but it was just too sweet. VERY sugary, candied grape--headache-inducing for me. Lasting power OK, 4-6 hours. I think this is best suited for very cold weather, and I probably would have liked it from age 7-12. Too bad--the bottle is VERY cute, a much deeper blue than these awful pictures are showing.

i bought this than original fantasy with an expect some dark and midnight ways but im so disappointed thing about midnignt in this perfume. it just too fruity im agree with peps said this kind a body splash than perfume but it last longer in my body

Not a fan of this one although I do love the original Fantasy. This is just too flat and fruity, more like a body splash than a perfume. The bottle is way too pretty for the juice inside.

I love this perfume! It is really sweet & fruity, so if you aren't into that I recommend you to not smell it at all. My mom got a big headache. :D I think it's for young women & older teenagers, somewhere between 16-28 would be my range. :D I find it to be cheerful & exotic, but at the same time a bit seductive. The plum is very strong, after it I can really smell the orchid & you just know there's vanilla. :) So it's nice combo. Scent also reminds me of Escada's Sunset Heat.
The only downside is that it doesn't last for a very long time, you do need to spray it few time throughout the day if u want to have that "first spray" scent all day long.

To Cocobella: Midnight Fantasy was discontinued for some time, BUT it is now BACK! It is back up on E.A.website so they brought it back as it is one of Britney's most popular sents! A true Classic! I will never be without a bottle of it in my collection! :)

i love love love it. it smells sooo good. it smells like cupcakes. warm and fruity. such a yummy fragrance. i totally fell in love with it. it is very cute but not too sweet. why haven't i tried this one earlier? unfortunately i have heard that this is going to be discontinued. does anybody know if this is true??

my sister has this, it smells exactly like a blueberry muffin!

I think its a bit too sweet for me to wear.

But I want to get some to use as a room spray and for my bedding as I find it's a simple but comforting and homely smell.

UPDATE: I am a total convert I've finally sprayed some of my sisters on myself (quite a few hours ago now) its surprisingly nowhere near as sickening on my skin as I imagined it was going to be, it is seriously yummy!

Plus I can still smell it hovering round me now, without having to sniff at my wrists, from literally one spray!

I'm going to buy some tomorrow when I'm out for wearing to work as it seems like one of very few smells that might be able to contend with the strong whiff of coffee!

I'm torn with the bottle the shape makes it very compact and easy to stick in a handbag and the colours pretty (this is the nicest of the bunch) but there's just something about all the fantasy bottles makes them seem slightly tacky, but that's just my personal opinion (and irrelevant to the juice)and I'm sure many find them really cute!

This perfume is pretty hardcore (projection/longevity) and it's lovely and sweet but not sicky - winner!

You know i actually had this and i dont know why Honestly this smells nice like a lot of things do I mean fruit has a pleasant aroma Especially blueberries And candy smells nice too But really can you call that worthy of a perfume That you walk around all day wearing I just feel like ive sprayed liquid starburst all over me I guess ive just realised that we have crossed the line of wearing classy smelling perfumes to adding just about anything to them now days Including wearing candy YUCK!!!

Ugghh. Tried this on my hand in an airport today and thought it a SCRUBBER! Very strong, very fake, 'blueberry' smell. Shame as love the name and bottle, don't think the perfume itself does them justice.

I first received this as a gift a few months ago, but did not initially like it. I forced myself to wear it anyway because everyone loved this fragrance on me. It took a while, but I am now in love with Midnight Fantasy. I really like the blueberry note and the hint of vanilla. Plus, it goes really well with the Bath and Body Works Dark Kiss body wash. yum:) 4/5. However, I can see myself getting tired of this very soon...

I LOVE it. It's sweet, but different and mysterious. It's strong, and quite different from Fantasy. Even if you don't like Britney, give this perfume a chance.

When I smelled this, I suddenly realized that Dark Kiss from Bath and Body Works smells JUST like this! I mean it's like they downgraded Midnight Fantasy into a cheaper version. But it smells nice. Why but this for 20-30$ when I can have Dark Kiss?

I have reviewed every Britney perfume she has released so far and I think I have saved the best one til last.
This perfume is just amazing, perfect for when you want to feel girly, sexy and mysterious all at the same time.
Even the guys I have spoken to like this one and say I smell yummy.

I love how you get a fab burst of the Sour Cherry and Plum on the first spray and then after about 10-20 minutes, the Freesia note pops up and takes away the sweetness of the plum.
If I am honest I love every single note in this scent they all blend perfectly to create a masterpiece.
I think although this is still a sweet perfume, I don't find it quite as sweet as the original Fantasy which is great, because I don't want my perfumes smelling all the same.
There seems to be a Britney perfume that suits me know matter what time of year or mood I am in.
She has a fantastic collection.
Its a great edition to the Fantasy Family.

To Mandona: I am wondering if some of the notes were changed in the re-release of this perfume? I have worn this for years and get tons of complements on it, the bottle I have (3.4 oz) is from the first run before it was discontinued. I had never seen someone discribe it as being as bad as you did. It kind of scares me to buy the newer bottles. Has anyone here bought Midnight Fantasy from the re-release? I need to know if it smells diffrant from the origonal.

Tried this on holiday recently; it smelled fantastic for the first 10 minutes, sweet and adorable, like vanilla frosting on cupcakes, yummy! I got the vanilla notes immediately although these are in fact the base notes...! Then slowly but surely these awful strong "dark" notes came out, synthetic and most unpleasant on my skin, could have been the amber mixed with unripe plums then doused in something like diesel oil. Terrible... I guess this was the "midnight" part LOL. I had to wash off the perfume in the end. A pity as I really loved the perfume in the beginning. Alas, the "fantasy" was over for me! Britney still makes great perfumes though - "Radiance" is lovely!

its true. it really smells like blueberry cupcakes. very yummy and girly.not original or extraordinary enough to become one of my favourite. nevertheless, i like it (and also my boyfriend does).

i dont usually like floral perfumes but i love this one as it is a fruity-floral. as for the notes i smell vanilla very strongly in this, plum and raspberry. i also smell hints for musk and white flowers.
it is just beautiful on. it can be worn in the day or at night but i think it is more of a night fragrance.
it kind of smells like these really expensive candles my mom used to buy that just fill the whole room with bursts of mysterious sexy scent! the price is great and it lasts a very, very long time. the only downside is because it is fairly strong and warm scented if you use too much it gives you a headache, but theres an easy way to avoid that..DONT WEAR TOO MUCH! definitely a favorite of mine though.

I am in love with most of the notes of this fragrance. The perfume is surprisingly everlasting. It lingers on and on,,,Whenever i need to feel enchanted and yummy, i spray this perfume..

I tried this in the duty-free shop when i was in Thailand and heading home yesterday. First I tried the original fantasy, then this midnight, and hidden. There wasn't any circus fantasy, so i can't compare with that. According to my nose, this one is very sweet! Not in a yuck-ish way. But in a good way! And this is much lighter then the original fantasy. Am going to go buy this as soon as I can :D

Now it grew too sweet for me! I don't like it that much anymore. Do not purchase this if you live in a tropical country.

I wanted to try Fantasy but my boyfriend said he might love Midnight Fantasy more from reading the notes of the two, plus so many gurus seems to enjoy the unique MF more, so I decided to get this one instead. From hearing so many compliments from you guys, I believe MF will become one of my favorites soon! :D

It's good. But, here in Brazil, this is so usual that it doesn't seem good anymore for me... You'll smell like every girl in the street if you wear it. Too common... It's over...

I love this perfume! I have a "knock off" of this,and it smells delicious! It smells like blueberry pancakes or muffins to me! But there is something sweetly musky about it too.I bought from someone who uses synthetic/non-animal musk.I know this is off topic,but I'm pretty sure most perfumers nowadays use the non-animal musk.

I have never smelled a perfume like this before! I love that it is very unique,delicious,and magical! My heart is quite taken with Midnight Fantasy.

This scent lasts and lasts! It is not really what I would call a "dark" scent per say. I kind of reserve the term dark more for the resins,patchouli,woody mix variety scents.But it is all about each persons individual perception.I find this to be more fun/yet sophisticated,but with tinges of seduction,also sweet,light hearted,endearing,fairies playing and dancing.This perfume is fun enough,yet alluring enough to be in a couple of different scent type categories. I really do not feel that scents have a true age or gender though. Wear what you love in freedom! :0) This would smell lovely on a man,on a child,on a woman,on a great grandmother,really anybody who falls in love with it! It makes lots of people so happy to smell a perfume scented just like baked blueberry muffins,pies,and pancakes,YUM!

Lasting power is crazy! My hubby says this is his fave of the Britney frags; he says it smells like sexy cotton candy. Seriously, he says I smell delicious! Lol I like it too b/c it lasts and lasts. Get lots of compliments too. :)

I wanted this fragrance for the bottle. I have Hidden Fantasy which I like very much and I wanted the bottle to go with it. I had already smelled Midnight Fantasy and I must admit, I really did not like it that much. It is very, very sweet on myself. I put here that I like it but that is about all I can say and I say that with a leaning to the negative side of like. The bottle is beautiful and it looks lovely aside Hidden Fantasy. ;-) If you like very sweet, the grab this one.

I was a little embarrassed to fall for this one, as I'm quite mature, but I got over it. :-) I bought a bottle because I'd sprayed some one day at Kohl's while playing around in their fragrance aisle. This was a few years ago. It was a very hot summer day, and this just smelled so wonderfully juicy and sweet and delicious that I had to go back and buy a bottle. It reminds me of a pie of wild summer berries baking in the oven, with the sugar syrup juices bubbling. Tart, yet sweet. The soft ambery drydown is very nice. This fragrance has great longevity and gets yummier with time on warm skin. I discovered, with Midnight Fantasy, how terrific fruity sweet & desserty scents are in hot weather. Before that I mostly wore drier citrus scents in summer, like AG Hadrien (and I still enjoy those). So now I have a small, growing collection of this type, except that now I want to wear gourmands in all seasons. I am a convert. :-)

it smells more sweet on my skin when the weather is warm/hot than cool. In cool weathers, it smells a bit more sour, like a skittle! :)

but beware, do not over-spray this magical potion! it's strong and lingers on your skin for at least 12 hours!! (on my skin anyway). I reckon it's best to spray in air and walk-in it for an overall yummyness :)

I haven't got a bottle of it yet, but I have tried it on at stores a several times and this is my opinion of this perfume so far :) I'm planning to get a bottle very soon!

The top, middle, and base notes are all blended together lovely so the scent does not change much whilst you wear it. You can't really smell flowers at all in this, just fruit and hints of vanilla. It truly smells like sweet plums/blueberries warm cupcake. This is quite warm but I think it's very suitable to wear in hot weather, as long as you don't overdose in it! And in cooler weather, I can smell the sour cherry a bit more, making the scent smell like purple skittles on me. :)

I really do not want to give this perfume a good review as I am scared everybody will start wearing it!!!

cannot get enough! Best Britney fragrance in my opinion!

I purchased the 30ml of this (blind purchase), thinking I'd do better with a smaller bottle just in case it wasn't to my tastes. Not very wise, I know. But I have no regrets.

Apart from the bottle looking lovely - like a cute, star-flecked sphere plucked from the night sky, this is an AMAZING perfume. I wasn't too fond of Britney's original Fantasy fragrance as it didn't smell nice and sweet to me. More so overly cloying, strong and headache-inducing. This is coming from someone who loves gourmand perfumes. Maybe I will like it if I give it another for chance but I much, MUCH prefer Midnight Fantasy.

It is so unusual - like nothing I've smelled before! Sweet blueberries whipped with sugary cream and vanilla. Ribbons of soft amber and musk weave the blueberries and vanilla together nicely. A light spritz of cherry juice compliments this delicious potion that you'll be likely to get compliments on.

I haven't exactly worn it out yet as I only got the bottle today but I can already hear the: "What is that perfume? It smells yummy!" comments. ;D That does sound a bit silly and you might think that my expectations for this are over the top, but I bet a lot of people can agree. It is DIVINE. Luckily, I haven't detected any of that "boozy" scent others have mentioned on my skin. Phew (not too fond of boozy scents, haha).

This is one of those perfumes that, to me, smell great even on the first spray. The top notes, middle notes and base notes are all wonderful and compliment each other nicely. There's no sharp alcohol fumes when I first spritz it on my skin (this may not be the case with everybody, of course).
It lasts a long time (shame I'm only wearing it around the house right now) and every so often you will catch whiffs of it. Delicious, feathery vanilla and fruit wafting around you.

For those who have not tried this yet, TRY it! Of course it isn't for everybody but chances are you will like it. If you don't, that's okay too. :)

I tried not to fall in love with this midnight spell but, oh, it's so lovely! Too fruity, too girly for me, I know, too sour and sweet maybe but I cannot stay away from it. Sometimes I dislike it and would only use it as room spray but sometimes I feel the need to wear it and that's why I bought a second bottle of it (it doesn't happen often with me). It's flirty and comfortale, juicy, it's pure cherry and vanilla, to me it's also strawberry and lemon, the floral side is just tender and soft, it would be a perfect cuddle in winter but I also wear it and enjoy it a lot during spring and summer. It's not one of those perfume I was expecting to love, that's why I'm so surprised, but I guess it doesn't matter why you love a fragrance, it matters that you do.

It smells like sweet blueberries to me (must be the cherry/plum combo). I don't really pick up on any other notes in it. It's alright, but not that interesting to me.

This scent makes me smile. I get a fizzy blackberry smell, if that makes sense. It is very fruity and i love that. Last for very long time on me and the scent kinda stays behind after u leave the room :) My boyfriend loves this and i always get compliments when i wear it. One downside to this scent is that people will give you strange looks when your walking down the street frantically smelling your own wrist. mmmmmmmm yummy

sweet berry jam with vanilla ice cream. I want to open the bottle and drink it. and it stays on forever! I love it!

I really fell in love with this scent when it first was launched. I bought it and used to spray it all around me and just smell the delicious berrylike scents and the plums. I don't feel the same now, but rembers why I liked it. It's sweet, somewhat deep and fruity. Now I think it does smell a little bit to ... young on my skin. I used it as a teenager, and I think it suits teenagers too. On me the plum is very overpowering, and I find the scent a little bit too artificial, but I remeber I didn't mind about that when I was younger. I used it as a daytime perfume, and I must day I think this is one of the better Britney-perfumes. Much better than Fantasy, that I also used to like. It's juciy and quite OK. I think the bottle's color suits the scent quite well, too.

too sweet and sickly for me!!

Midnight Fantasy happens to be my absolute favorite from the Fantasy series..I really didn't expect that, because it's the last I've tried out of them and the one I've always thought about "No, I would never purchase it". Too sweet, too cloying, too candy-like for my tastes...
But today something changed between me and MF: maybe my perception/mood/body chemistry? Who knows! I guess this is another scent that - a bit suprisingly - works better for me during warm weather.

Intriguing and playful could be two suitable adjectives to describe this fragrance.
The first breath I take from my wrists is all about sugared wildberries and synthetically sweetened dark fruits: I love this combination as it vividly reminds me of those purple Big Bubble's I used to chew at the primary school!
Through the developing of MF I can't really detect the floral notes listed above (orchid, freesia and orris), on me this scent keeps playing the same fruity melody until the very end, smoothened and softened by the undeniable creaminess of vanilla and the depth of amber in the base.
Before Midnight leaves me, after about three hours since spraying, a kind of delicious and relaxing freshness is laying on my skin..like a summer breeze at night.

Right now Midnight Fantasy is bringing me so many memories from my childhood: carnival dresses, stolen sweeties and candies, first make-up's, wildberries picked with my cousin..
Just when I was thinking I would have never really liked anything from Britney Spears, this little blue treasure found me :)

everyone seems to like Midnight Fantasy. But I don't, it smells like jelly tip, very sweet and fruity. Circus Fantasy on the other hand is somewhat nicer.

This is a very creamy fruit scent and it has a great lasting power. I didn't really fancy the top note, (maybe because I don't like the smell of plum) it smelt sweet, yet with somewhat of a green scent lingering in the back but the dry down smelly like a creamy sweet fruity scent.

I LOVE this fragrance! My mother who strongly dislikes the Britney range, actualy loves this scent. I wore it around her just the other day and she asked what it was. She was shocked to hear it was Britney, despite the fragrance being sweet like the others.

I wear this scent in the day aswel as at night. Simply love it and recomend it to anybody who has a love for fruity/ floral scents.

This smells like fruity sweets,yum! I can mainly smell blueberry plum and sour cherries. Wow I love this perfume.

I liked this one at ist it smelled clean and fruitilicious but it becomes cloying after a while and the fruity notes go stale on the skin.

Only for winter nights!

I came across this at Kohl's earlier tonight, and I normally don't touch Brittney Spears fragrances, but I am glad I picked this one up to smell it! I love the way it smells! Very similar to Dark Kiss from Bath and Body Works, but not identical. I sprayed the Dark Kiss on other arm to do camparison and I think the Midnight Fantasy is way better. Dark Kiss went on real strong and after awhile gives off kind of this weird powdery/berry offensive odor. Where as Midnight Fantasy smells great from first spray all the way to the end. It kind of just fades off nicely instead of turn into an offensive scent. I will be scouting the stores tomorrow for a deal on Midnight Fantasy somewhere!

Update to review: I ended up buying then returning this. It's nice scent, but something about it makes me kind of nauseous, and it has something in it giving it cheap almost like a plastic smell about it. Seems like something I would spray on my 6yr old. You can a definate difference in quality when you spray this verses Chanel Coco M. is basically what I'm saying. You totally get what you pay for in fragrances.

My favorite Britney scent! It smells like dark almost-sour fruit and vanilla. Absolutely gorgeous. The bottle is lovely also.

I'm afraid this perfume will become to common :p Britney should limit this perfume again. Its too special. haha ^^, One of the most magical perfumes produced and i dont want to smell exactly the same like other people. :))))

I will never forget the day I tried this perfume. I was in the duty free shop at the airport in Frankfurt and sprayed it on. I expected nothing special. 10 hours later (I was already in the hotel in NY) I sniffed my wrist and was shocked: WHAT´S THAT?? IT`S AMAZING! I tried to remember what I´ve sprayed on (because duty free is always a hard exercise for my nose ;-)) and soon I remebered this cute bulbous bottle. Immetiately I´ve run to the drugstore and bought it. What a fruity and sweet perfume. Dark cherry notes with vanilla and plum but still dark and romantic. I´ve hooked so many friends with this fragrance.
And: Escadas new summer scent Taj Sunset smells exactly like Midnight Fantasy. Save money and buy this one. More fragrance for less money!

You have to love all Gourmand or foody gourmand to love this perfume. ^^,

I think some people have a hate-love relationship with this perfume.

Some people might think this perfume smell like a sharp bubble gum and very childish but heyyy, give this perfume a second chance, you will love it for a second time when you try this perfume and you will love it! Smells like Yummy blueberry with a hint of vanilla. I like the vanilla part, the base notes, very soft and sensual.

In other case, MAYBE you dont like to smell it on yourself but people around you will love this smell on you especially 'guy'. You can do research that guy love vanilla smell on girl cause it makes them think of sex. lol. I know not all but most of the guy.

I do get compliments from my friends especially guy and telling me that i smell so good when wearing this fragrance. They tell me it soothing and calms down their spirit. :)

Yes, its too strong/bold but just take one spritz is enough already and you will smell good all day long. The lasting power is very very great.

If you like a sophisticated,classy,woodsy,musky fragrances, you better just forget about this perfume cause i know you guys will hate this perfume or even worst, you think this perfume smell cheap.

TOO STRONG, TOO FRUITY, TOO SWEET...DIDN'T LIKE IT AT ALL....OH! I FOGOT...IT LASTS THO.. BUT IT GAVE ME A HEADACHE :(

It has many of my favourite notes but ends up quite a loud fruity smell which makes it more suitable for chewing gum than a perfume. Very yummy and fun to sniff at, almost mouth-watering. For a perfume though, I would choose something a bit more sophisticated. I don't cosider myself a perfume snob and I would gladly wear other Britney Spears perfumes (e.g. quite like Radiance). But this one really is best suitable for kids.

Midnight Fantasy really beats her pink sister!! Too bad I bought just 50ml bottle of this, and 100ml bottle of the original Fantasy! I like this one better.

Opens with amazing juiciness of plum and some kind of "dark" cherries, very strong opening, but once it settles down, it turns into the beautiful, blackberry vanilla kind of scent..Almost like some blackberry muffins!

And lasting power is just incredible! On me it stays up to 6 hours! Overall, I am VERY satisfied. I will surely buy another bottle, but it will be the biggest one!

Midnight fantasy is a romantice playful scent, it isnt as strong as its sister fantasy but they are very similar in smell. Midnight smells like berries with a thing of sugar sprinkled over them. It is deep and sexy. It fits the night life vibe. You have to love sweet fruity florals to like this fantasy. I love both midnight and fantasy they are my favs, The lasting power is wonderful you will be pleased.

Tutti-Frutti Plumtastic! The fun, child-at-heart side of me adores this, but the mature womanly side of me can't stand smelling like a friend of Strawberry Shortcake.

Love this "food" fragrance :-) When I first sprayed this my eyes got large. I was very surprised, unlike anything I've ever tried before. The blueberry scent reminds me of grape and cherry juice and yet so intoxicating.

I think by the look of the reviews i'm probably alone here when i say i can't bear this fragrance! It's just got this quality that makes me feel sick and it's extremely long lasting and strong! I didn't like the fragrance before but now i can't even bear to smell it on other people as i was sat behind someone wearing it on a bus once when i was sick for two solid hours! (bad associations perhaps?) Before that though i didn't mind it on others but really does not work with my chemistry at all!

Midnight Fantasy is my top two in the Britney line. The blueberry scent really comes thru and unlike any fragrance I've ever smelled.

At first I smell grape, berries, and more berries...
and I felt oh well Fantasy suits me better.
Day 2, I sprayed it again...and I realized till after work, I can still berry and musk, and I started to like it, because I could still smell the freshness of the berries and also it smelled nice.
And I think Midnight smells longer than Fantasy. but I still choose Fantasy scent over Midnight.

Midnight Fantasy is very different from the original ‘Fantasy’. Midnight smells more fruity and juicy like a plum pudding where as Fantasy smells more sweet like a cupcake drizzled with white chocolate toppings.
The scent is strong without being overpowering, and the longevity is fantastic!
Despite it being called ‘Midnight’ I think this is suitable to wear in the day too.

I have just bought this for the second time and to me this is a very "american" smell . I like this one very much as a "casual" smell ; this is not a luxorious scent but it works well when you want to smell sweet and nice . Fantasy ( the pink bottle) is even more sweet and has its own charms , too . M.F. is frutier while F. is more creamy and round . Like them both !

My sister bought me the 50 ml EDP of this perfume for my birthday 2 years ago. She chose it because of the blue bottle, which looked like stars on a night sky to her.

This was my first Britney scent. I enjoyed the fruity smell, and it is a great scent for summer.

Some days I love this perfume, and other days it seems overpoweringly sweet to me. I am not sure why. As another person described, I also thought this was a blueberry perfume, as I do get that smell, but it must be the plum, as psyche had stated.

All in all, I LIKE this perfume, but I don't LOVE it. It's good for the money's worth.

I really wanted to like this one, as I love Britney's perfumes....but on me all I got was a supremely cloying, strong smell of blueberries...I'm assuming that's the plum. I'm not sure if I can make out the cherry in the top notes, maybe that's the only element that intrigues me because I am a huge fan of Hidden Fantasy.

I can see how on the right skin this would smell lovely, but my chemistry isn't "strong" enough to temper the overwhelming "blueberryness" of it.

Can you say YUMMY...i got this today in a swap and i love it and im 38 years old and this is a great scent for any age and my 63 year old mother loved it to and she is so picky on scents she couldnt believe that it was britney spears....it reminds me of B&BW dark kiss but way better its more fresh to me than dark kiss... its a fresh dark berry fragrance im serious usually these dark berries are winter scents but to me this could easily be worn in summer...LOVE IT..i cant believe its fresh i was expecting a very sweet warm scent but its fresh sweet berries for sure LOVE IT..Thanks Anna_gr awesome swap best so far...

Very fruity, fresh, sweet. Have had this one for a few years now and I still love it. Mysterious yet girly. Definitely the best fantasy perfume.

I truly believe that, on repeated use of this fragrance, I would turn blue and be rolled off to the 'juicing room' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory style. Seriously toxic, alas Britney!

I really do not get it. I can only smell an empty syrup shallowly flavoured with plum. Only many hours later I can feel a powdery base obscured by sweetness. I wish I like this scent by feeling what virtually everyone feels, but not.

Midnight Fantasy is a bold, strong and still girly fragrance - thankfully to it's vanilla and freesia notes.

Perfect for a date on a winter night. Smelling like that, ladies, we will really love to warm you up.

Best fragrance ever.

smells like Escada Moon Sparkle. The only difference is that MF is stronger and lasts longer...while MS is more like a body spray that lasts only for just 1 hour.

My second review/opinion :

I think Garnier body lotion and Midnight Fantasy perfume is a good combination cause garnier body lotion smells like a lemony creamy vanilla scent and Midnight Fantasy smells like a blueberry creamy vanilla scent. Smell exactly the same i guess. =) love it.

Midnight Fantasy smells like delicious blueberry pie with rich vanilla cream and sugar plums...very interesting combo. I don't get a lot of floral from this except the tiniest hint of orchid. I'd call this perfume a fruity gourmand because it smells more sugary sweet and fruity than anything else. I tried Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss EDT before making it to Britney's Mid Fantasy, so this scent immediately reminded me of Dark Kiss. I'm guessing they both have heavy handed doses of plum. There was something about Dark Kiss that reminded me of bug repellent so I just couldn't get into that one. Midnight is lacking the weird notes of DK and smells SOOO much better because of it. I love this scent as of now, I just hope I don't end up changing my mind about this perfume due to my association of it to Dark Kiss.

As far as the Fantasy line goes this one is tied in 2nd with Circus Fantasy although I've had neither very long so my opinion may change over time. Midnight has really good staying power and moderate silage. Best for night and any season. I Really enjoy it.

Very fruity! I get mostly just the plum and orchid from this one. I would say this is a perfect fragrance for the spring and summer and could be worn day or night. I really like it!

I love this perfume, the plum and the sour cherry mixed is amazing and this is all I smell. The notes never change into the heart or base notes on me but it's so amazing I wouldn't want it to.

I love Midnight Fantasy! It is one of my favourite perfumes to date!
When you first spray the perfume, you unwrap a beautiful flowery-fruity smell. The perfume is long lasting. I give it a 9/10!

I love this perfume so much. This perfume smells so ADORABLE. Smells like a blueberry. Yeah, i know there is no blueberry note in it. Its a cherry, plum and vanilla notes that makes like a blueberry scent but I can't smell any flower notes.

The lasting power are great too. I sprayed it on my cloth yesterday and when i want to wash it today, i still can smell the scent.

The scent doesn't change, smell blueberry + vanilla all the time. What you spray is what you get. GREAT JOB BRITNEY! I will buy this perfume again. I will buy the whole set you know. <3

In some ways, I actually think this is a much sweeter perfume than the original Fantasy is. It's a really strong, pretty straight smell of incredibly sweet plum+ blueberry bubble gum, a bit similar to really strong shampoo..

The sour cherry is pretty strong to, especially at first, there is a sour note to the extremely sweet scent - doesn't develop too much, remains the same so it's good if you want to smell exactly the same throughout the day. The underlying vanilla is there, but again, very subtle and hard to detect because it is mixed in so well. Musk is minuscule. Definitely a very young scent, mid-teens to mid twenties I would say.. would smell amazing in your hair I think, people would be queuing up to ask what hair products you use.. but as far as being a perfume for the rest of your body.. not too sure.

Buy if you're a carefree, bubbly young person who doesn't want to be taken seriously and wants a really strong, fruity scent that is distinctive - don't buy if you want something subtle and understated.

Oh, and very long lasting and strong - I would say maybe even more so than Fantasy because it's such a distinctive smell, and to me, the fragrance is best after left on the skin for a while - the smell becomes much less sharp - still very much noticeable, but has a lovely creamy, soft feel to it.

I'm a fan of sweet foody scents (Pink Sugar even), but I'm not a fan of this one. It's too simple, linear, and it smells too much like grape sheesha and blueberry bubblegum, so that makes it feel cheap on me...I don't see myself walking around smelling like this. So I'll definitely pass. On the plus side, the longevity is super, much like the original Fantasy (which I really like).

this fragrance is AMAZING...... the first time i sprayed it ..it smelled like yummy berries and orris .. just the right balance .it dint give me a headache like Fantasy.. the dry down i get is amber, musk and vanilla .. Yummy!!! this is one of the best celebrity fragrances out there .. the lasting power is amazing .. it lasts on my skin for about 6-7 hours .. i get many compliments when i wear this... AMAZING!!!!

This one's so yummy and luscious...i could eat it with my morning croissant, afternoon ice cream, or midnight dream. The sweetness quotient is just spot on here. It paints one whole picture in my mind....cotton candy kissing sweet plums & dark cherries kissing vanilla. I love britney's scents and this one's way better than the original fantasy. The bottle is really attractive too. I can see anyone wearing this, a teenager and a mother as well. Delightful scent!!!

this one smell to me like bluebery pie in a bottle. (i know there are no berries) i can smell the cherry and the plum most from the fraagrance.

Smells so YUMMY! From the first smell down to the dry down i can pick up cherrys and plum with a helping of amber! Its so sweet, but its not one of them scents that can give you a headache, i really do love this and i was super tempted to get it! x

This perfume smells delicious. That being said, I'm not entirely convinced it's something I would want to smell like. I'd prefer to eat it if I could. It kind of reminds me of a super-dooper heady Skittles smell.

I agree so much with the person who can't make up her mind to love or hate this perfume. It's so annoying. One day it smells like floral air freshener and next day its strongly deeply exotic.How can this happen? I may have to get rid of it just to give my head peace.

I love this perfume! The rich indigo color of the bottle makes it POP and the scent smells like sweet, juicy plums or blueberries. But I heard that this was being discontinued which if true, is a real tragedy.

I agree with SenecaWhite: Midnight fantasy doesn´t seem to be a night fragrance. It´s very girly, fruity and linear. I´d even dare to say it smells like bubble gum, but I still like it a lot. It´s a "happy" one!

I can't detect any flower notes , but i can smell creamy vanilla blueberry ice cream which is so nice. My boyfriend love it on me and he always sniff on me and he wanted to eat me. RAWR!!! hahaha! The long lasting power is also quite good. 8 hours on my shirts. :) one spritz is enough already coz this perfume is too strong. but i always take 2 spritz. i give 9/10.

I am TOTALLY with Ajablue here!! The quality of the Fantasy fragrance line is immense! All Fantasies have this same top quality. I do not feel the same way about the other Spears fragrance lines though, so we are talking Fantasy, Midnight, Circus and Hidden. Those are the ones I truly recommend!

Very sweet, fruity and juicy, although a bit linear on my skin as it doesn't change much during drydown.

This doesn't seem like a night perfume as it's way too girly/fruity. I think Fantasy should have been called Midnight Fantasy as it smells much deeper, heavier.

But this is a cute scent nonethless. I like it. :)

Very, very fruity gourmand..definitely smells of blueberries at the top with a base similar to the original Fantasy..it is less sweet and cotton candy-ish. There is something tart underneath but forget whatever flowers it may or may not contain! Midnight Fantasy is sheer frivolous fun and quite yummy. If you are not familiar with the Fantasies you may want to test first..I find them to be quite reminiscent of childhood but still wearable for an adult.

I think the whole collection of Brittany Spears fragrances are a work of genius. Really. No, they are not expensive or "niche," but the genius lies in the certain mystique they hold...and the way they have captured the public. More or less a lot like the way Ms. Spears did and still basically does. There is something just so intriguing about each of the Fantasy collection and I believe they all reference other popular designer scents...but add to those references their own unique twists. The bottles and scents are incredibly girlie, too. The big sister of Midnight Fantasy, at least to me, is Dior's Poison. This is not to say it is a dupe, definitely not. However, it echoes back to that scent...and I know this is why I love it...even if I am much older than the targeted audience. Hey, it's called "Fantasy" right? Right.

I had just recently brought a 100ml bottle of this perfume because it was on offer. I'd never smelled this scent before (as usual).

When I first smelled this I immediately picked up on the plum and sour cherry smell but at first me and my mum thought it was like blueberries. It's a very sweet, fruity and exotic perfume. For me it lasted ages on my skin. I find this a great night time perfume. I wouldn't particularly use it as a day time fragrance as it just doesn't go right with the day life. I Loved this perfume and i'd recommend buying one just to have it.

Yummy! This smell like a Delicious Cherry! It is one of those scents where I am constantly sniffing my wrists! Its just much easier to wear then the original Fantasy.

This is a good perfume to use on a crazy night-club party.

Lasting power is AMAZING, one spritz will last all day.

I have a love/hate relationship with this scent. There are days when I adore it and on other days it's sweetness makes me sick. I think it is a "fun" fragrance. It is not a mature scent, but definitely one of my favorites (when I can stand it)!

Got this today, i'm a lil bit surprised when i spray it on my hand, i kinda know the smell, it's very familiar, but i can't tell what it is. One thing i know, i love the smell... it's even better than Circus. Very naughty smell, i love this :)

Wow, I've expected something very different! I thought this would be more of a cherry-smooth vanilla, something like lolita lempicka eau de minuit. Instead of that, it is exactly Pink Sugar with a sour cherry (which smells like cranberry to me) added. It reminds me of those pink-princess-body-splashes for 6 year olds, but then in concentrated form. It's very strong, sugary, bit plasticy and sour. Personally, I prefer pink sugar way over midnight fantasy.

I love this perfume. Smells very fruity sugary and sweet. It's a bit overpowering. But if you use it sparingly you solve that problem. Always get compliments on this. It suits for day as well as night because of it's sweetness.

Very strong heavy overpowering/overbearing sickly sweet smell that just doesn't stop or settle down. I'd say the scent reminds me of bubble gum, cookies, cakes, basically all things sugary.

This perfume is just liquid gold in a bottle. And it makes everyone around you just turn their heads 360 degrees.

I purchased this perfume a few months ago. At first I LOVED it. I still enjoy it, but the scent seems to have changed a bit. At first it smelled very dark, sexy, and musky (loved it!) but the more I smell it, the more it smells like cotton candy. I use it every few days now, and the cotton candy scent doesn't seem to be as strong. I don't know what happened. I do like the scent, I just don't like the over-bearing cotton candy smell. I'm afraid it smells to little-girlish. But, overall, I like the perfume!

I'm so happy E.A. has brought back this Amazing,Beautiful,Wonderful,"Can't live without it" sent! This is my favorite perfume and I was scared that sooner or later I would not be able to find it anymore as it was discontinued, Thank the Perfume Gods it has returned! Now I will never be without it! I do wish that they would have brought back the Origonal bottle though, it was much more Beautiful than the cheaper vershion, BUT I'm not going to complain beacuse my Baby is back! Now I can use it all I want witout feeling Guilty!

PS. I hope there will be a new Edetion to the Fantasy family soon! Do you all think the next Britney sent will be a Radiance Flanker or a new Fantasy?

Midnight Fantasy smells like mouth-watering blueberry candy. It's a delicious blueberry/floral scent, and is perfect for those who prefer young, fruity fragrances over heavy florals. I always receive compliments from both men and women when I wear Midnight Fantasy. If you like BBW Dark Kiss, I guarantee you will love this one, as they're very similar, though Midnight Fantasy has better lasting power and complexity. Be forewarned, however, that Midnight Fantasy is quite potent and has great silage. One or two sprays will last all day.

Looks like its back ladies... its back on the EA website and I for one am pleased. I had a horrible time trying to replace my last bottle and ended up paying an inflated price for it here in AU. Seeing it back on the website brought a welcome smile, Im 35 and I love this perfume as much as any of my other HEs. :)

Ooh! ooh! how i love this perfume its like a creamy blueberry scent an a gorgeous big blueberry bottle. At first, i'm bit sceptic to buy it, some Britney perfume are headachingly sweet but due to some positive reviews I purchased it online for £17.99 for 100ml, what a steal. It has a good sillage, pleasntly sweet & d smell last longer on your clothes and I wanna eat it.

I've tried sample of this perfume several times at the store. And after making sure that I do like the scent, I purchased one online. The 3.4oz bottle arrived, and I sprayed it on my wrist. What shocked me is the scent smells a bit different when sprayed on my skin (at store the clerk sprayed it on a piece of sampling paper)
It's kinda yummy and I smell alot of bubble gum when I sniffed it at the store, but on my skin, it smells kinda soapy. I only notice sour cherry and a bit floral thing covered with slight musk.
The dry down is actually sweet and creamy, but the thing that made me feel really dissapointed: sillage and longevity is really poor. It only lasts 3-4 hours or so on my skin.

*edited: I tried to spray it on my clothes and wrist. I was spending a whole day in home, and guess what? It lasts longer than before and I finally got the exact smell I sniffed at the store. The problem about the soapy smell and poor longevity I had before are probably because I was sweating too much. So I suggest not to wear this perfume when you're soaking in wet or even in a hot day.

It's a very sweet smell, but not as much as Fantasy. I also have Hidden Fantasy, but I like this one better. I notice that near the end of the sent, the smell of rasberry jujubes can be smelled. I really like this one.

Tried this in Boots and it smelt like candy floss and cake. Not a very elegant scent.. but what would you expect from someone like Britney?

This is the only one I have smelled from Britney`s Fantasy line. I actually bought it unsniffed because it was so cheap and I have remembered some good reviews.
I have to say this is not a bad one, sweet and fruity close to gourmand category. Surprisingly long lasting considering the fact that its a celebrity frag. (No offense but frankly I always have an issue with celeb perfumes)
However it smells slightly synthetic.
Midnight Fantasy is an absolutely wearable, pleasant fragrance for teens and for young girls or I guess for anyone who wants to smell sweet and fun. I could not call it elegant or sophisticated, just nice and fun, pleasant enough to wear daily.

Longevity and sillage are both excellent which makes it suitable for night out as well.

I hardly ever get to wear it though only because I have some more beloved sweet frags in my very small collection.

Now this reminds me I have to stop buying these cheapies, for the overall price of my "Ok" perfumes I could have bought something which actually has the WoW factor to it - this is going to be one of my New Years Resolutions :)

This is hands down one of my favorite perfumes ever! This is a sweet perfume lovers heaven. I am always looking for new sweet perfumes. Anything to make me smell like candy or a cupcake I'm all over and this fits the bill perfectly. It smells like warm, very sweet blueberry pie with warm vanilla glaze on top. This is my favorite to wear in the winter and when I wear it in the cold I feel like a sugar plum fairy from the old candyland board game. This is what I imagine she'd smell like. I have the 1 oz size but when I'm done I will defiently be purchasing the big 3.4oz. 5 stars for this one.

Sometimes it smells like sweet wine. Other times it smells like vanilla sprinkled raspberries. I like it most when it develops in the second concept, it is uplifting but deep. Nice for nighttime! Not formal though.

Beautiful is an understatement,this is by far one of my fave Britney smells I always feel like eating my arm when I wear it lol seriously its that good!

I've only smelled the magazine strip sample, but it smelled a lot like the men's version of Attitude by Armani. Take the Armani, dilute it, add some vanilla and a little musk (perhaps delete some of the lavender) and this is what I think it would smell like.

This is an ok perfume but smells too much like grape punch or grape/plum kool aid for me.

This is a delicious dark and dense fruity elixir. Really sugared dark berries blended into a syrupy consistence. Smells thick but crystalline, and incredibly smooth, like some kind of fruit honey.

There's a strong sparkling boozy note right from the begining which lingers amazingly. That's what they call the "framboise note", and that thing is really new smelling, brings a lot of uniqueness to this perfume.

If you spray it on clothes you'll definitely get a major cotton candy note that is kind of elusive on the skin. That is real cotton candy, slightly burnt sweet, airy and dry.

Even with all the sugar and the fruitiness, this perfume smells clean! It's very shampoo-y, due to the big amount of freesia in the composition. It does get kind of bubblegummy, which is not really a problem in this case. Midnight Fantasy is unpretensious and really fun scent. With just the right amount of glamour, this perfume evokes childhood magic that every woman will enjoy revisiting once in a while.

The only reason I don't consider buying tons of this discontinued beauty and making my own stock, is the eventual "make up" dry down. I really don't like that effect, although it's not always happening. It's not exactly bad smelling too, but I feel as if the perfume is losing it's properties. I'm gonna start wearing this only on my hair, and see what happens.

To sum it up, I will recommend this strongly for the girly girls and anyone else who enjoys fruit blasts!

This perfume is not so sweet actually. It's very wearable for me. It's strange that everyone mention sour cherries and plums in this perfume. When I asked my daughter how I smell, she replied that I smelled like strawberry. On the whole it is not sophisticated or mysterious scent, just very nice.

Sour blueberries mixed with purple plum in a bowl with lots of vanilla. It definitely makes you want to take a bite out of youself with the sour and sweet combination. This doesn't smell like real blueberries but more of a candied processed jam type. For it to be a more realistic berry scent I definitely think there should be some green in there for the whole berry bush with dew dappled leaves. Unfortunately I don't get any florals from this but the top and base notes last for ages.

It's a bit generic for my taste but can be a great casual scent to wear. Not for summer since it will be cloyinly sweet but in winter it can add that extra bit of sweetness and warmth that you need.

I bought this fragrance unsniffed after Hidden Fantasy and now I'm a bit dissapointed. I thought it will be mysterious like Hidden Fantasy for me. What I understand now is that plums in perfumes are not for me. They make perfumes boring, I think. At first I smelled shampoo or maybe a chewing gum. Then I smelled plums and lots of plums and that's all, nothing more, no vanilla or amber, just plain plums plus cherries maybe. They made this scent so simple unfortunately. Maybe I need some time to understand this fragrance, I don't know, will see.

i am in love with the sour cherry and plum notes in this fragrance. i have never encountered such uniqueness in such a reasonably priced scent before. i have been a fan of this since the day it came out several years ago. its horrible thats its been discontinued. it has fabulous lasting power and melts down to a lovely blend of plum-ish delight. :)

It's pretty mouthwatering and intense. Nothing gothic in it at all tho xD It's sweet, catchy. I can feel sour cherries at first and later plum and flowers. Dries down a bit alcoholic, me thinks. It's too much alcoholic, I think. Kind of started remind me of sour berries with vodka Dx Bits overrated ::P Curious for the win

I am a huge fan of Britney fragrances. and this is another of her amazing gems.
It starts off very berry like. I smell Blackberry and Raspberry the most and it has a unique yogurt like note to it. After a while the floral notes set in but the berries are still there. And my favorite part is the dry down, it smells sweeter and ends up like a sweet raspberry cream. I love the dry down!

I absolutely love this perfume! Its very feminine and very VERY sweet, the plum is very dominate but it smells like sugary blue berries to me (yummy!). This perfume its great for those days when you are feeling extra giddy and girly ; ) Like when you are going out with the bf or hubby for a fun late night movie!

Not so much for sophistication! This would also be a great gift for a young girl as her first perfume.

No. 1 smells like the matured, sophisticated yet toned down version of Midnight Fantasy. Check it out ladies because I promise you won't be disappointed. ;'D

I adore my Britney but man am I sick of Midnight Fantasy! I don't ever want to smell it again! It was fun while it lasted but our relationship is over! Never again Midnight! I still have 3 full bottles of it! Goodness! I've just purchased it too many times for all my friends & family members and have smelled it so many dang times that I am just over it! It's the only Britney scent I simply cannot stand anymore! Sorry B! I still adore your other fragrances! Keep them coming! : )

Yesterday I tested the EDT version of Black Raspberry Vanilla at Bath & Body Works ... and I then came home and ordered 5 bottles of it online because it's a much better deal than the store. They're 1/2 price online and, with a minimum $40.00 purchase, I received an additional 20% discount and free shipping. BBW BRV smells exactly as I expected MF to smell ... like sweet, delicious raspberry preserves. It also comes in a body splash but, like all BBW body splashes, there's zero staying power. With the EDT, I could still smell it on my arm hours later. Not only is it truly fruity and sweet - unlike MF - but also it's much less expensive. I'm thrilled that I found BBW BRV!

I finally got the chance to test Midnight Fantasy in Kohl's today ... and I was very disappointed. I was expecting a decidedly fruity, fresh fragrance - on the order of the Escada line - but it's more of a clean floral scent on my skin. And pretty much run-of-the-mill and nothing extraordinary at that. When I first applied it, I detected a faint whiff of berries and sugar ... very faint. Since that's what I'm interested it, Midnight Fantasy was a letdown. It isn't at all a bad scent, it's just not for me.

Sweet. Very sweet. If you're not into sweet fragrances, then click out of this perfume and never look back! With that being said, I'm usually more of a vanilla/oriental gourmand girl, but this stuff tickles my fancy. It smells like a musky plum and blueberry juice! Very young, fresh, and vital! I like to wear it with my sundress, over-sized leather handbag, cute flats, with a face of MAC powder and Lipglass to complete the look! I love it!

Ive got a small bottle of this juice today. And I must say it is not what I expectet. Its a sweet serupy kinda smell. way too sweet for my taste.

Berries--big, purple berries everywhere. Think grape koolaid or raspberry jolly ranchers. I did like this straight from the bottle b/c the berries smell so juicy, but after awhile this got on my nerves. It was very linear and relentless on my skin--I could smell it on my wrist the next day, after a shower.

Still, there is something about this that makes me want a sniff now and then, but I end up getting tired of it at the end of the day.

So far I was not disappointed with other BS scents I tried, and Midnight fantasy is not the exception. It`s a delicious gourmand scent, which reminds me of ice cream dessert my Mother used to make - vanilla ice cream, raspberry jelly or berries, and prunes stuffed with walnuts.Yummy! will bring a smile on your face anytime.

Was comparing midnight and hidden fantasy side by side...I find the beginning of hidden fantasy is rather similar to midnight fantasy, albeit midnight is sweeter and heavier.

sweet dark fruits covered in sticky sugar! the sticky sugar stays troughout even though the dark fruits fades and replaced by slightly spiced woods (was rather surprised not to find any spices listed in the notes).

toward the linear end, slight fruits appears again together with the sweet woods.

i do think i like this one the most out of the fantasy series.

I'm not normally used to loving gourmand celebrity fragrances with bottles epitomizing Solange Azagury-Partridge's gum-smacking kid sister, but Midnight Fantasy just destroyed me. Utterly destroyed me.

There is no other word for it, either: the blueberries-and-cream undertones keep giving way to a cotton candy (apparently that's ethyl maltol) treat, allthewhile balancing everything on black cherry and a cool, creamy vanilla scent that never ever goes overboard. Just amazing. Sillage and lasting power is perfect.

I'm totally unapologetic about how much I love this very well-loved fragrance, and bravo to Caroline Sabas for convincing Spears' and EA's marketers to allow you to create this feast!

I had been avoiding Britney Spears’ and most celebrity perfume for a while; however, Midnight Fantasy is a lovely surprise. It starts with a burst of juicy berries and fruit hard candy sweetness, which transports me back to childhood immediately. This kind of candy sweet is non-cloying, unlike the caramel from Fantasy, and somehow, it reminds me a lot of theme parks, the sweet food there-strawberry+blueberry flavoured candy floss, and the soap bubbles.

Then it gets more floral, I can smell a faint hint of orchid, but in a really candy-coated way. From the middle notes to the dry down, Midnight Fantasy goes quite linear, just creamier, less candy-sharp.

I personally like it a lot because of the weird childhood memory it awakes. However, just like Britney’s Fantasy series, the sweetness can be annoying. So I would only apply it with a really light hand and use it in winter only.

I don't even know how to describe this perfume. On my skin, I can smell that something's there, but I can't actually figure out what it smells like. It's more like an impression of a scent than an actual perfume.

Only one word to describe this perfection: BERRIES. A LOT of them! So many berries, that I can't wear Midnight Fantasy everyday. :( But certainly there is no perfume like this, it's super unique and delicious! All my friends love Midnight Fantasy.

One day, I went out with a group of friends, and one of them asked me what I was wearing. So I took the bottle from my bag and showed it to them. Everybody said "OMG, what a beautiful bottle! And this scent is SOOOOOO good!"

For me, Midnight Fantasy has a image of mysterious woman. Who holds many secrets and not reveal to anyone.

And yes, this is a fragrance for all ages, I agree that the fact that it carries Brit's name does not mean they are just for teenagers. Mature women would be even more beautiful with perfumes like Midnight Fantasy.

I had high hopes when I tried this today. And I`m not sure what I think about it. It`s very berry at first and then berryish with vanilla. It`s sweet. I like it. But there`s something artificial which annoys me. I have to try another time.

Edit. I haven`t tried this again, but I found a fragrance which smells exactly how I imagined Midnight Fantasy would smell like: Elizabeth Ardens Provocative Interlude.

A really stunning perfume that doesnt need any introduction. The bottle looks prettier than the original pink Fantasy, and the juice is gorgeous! Be warned though for perfume overload, because when I wore it once, I got comments about how I smelt like a clean toilet. Not very appealing to me...:/ Still, a beautiful addition to my collection :D

It used to be one of my favourite perfumes. Unfortunately it is very strong and too much of it can make my head ache.
I don't use it very often, only on special occasions.
It starts of with very sweet fruits and they stay all the way. The middle and base notes never really come out. The staying power is great - when I don't wash it of it stays on my skin even for two days.
There's something about the sweetness of this perfume that I still love but I feel like I'm starting to grow out of it.

fantasy midnight is better than fantasy. it smells fruity, like plum and framboise ans sweet but not like sugar.

Midnight Fantasy opens with plum and sour cherry. From beginning to end, I smell the dark berries as they mingle with the amber, freesia and musk. Personally, I appreciate how the top notes remain present throughout, as this EDP unfolds. MF is sweet and rich, while being tart and soft. A very lovely contrast, indeed. MF reminds me of a delicious cordial that one might enjoy as a dessert after a nice meal. I have read many reviews of MF and while many are favorable, there are just as many that would label this, (or any frag with Brit's name attached), as "juvenile/young" or not appropriate for a woman past her early twenties. I roll my eyes at that notion! I am 31 and I would have worn this ten years ago...I would wear this ten years from now, as well. Women of any age should wear what they like...what makes them feel great...what smells divine! MF is perfect for me on hot summer days, when something dry and heavy would be too much. In cooler months, MF wears just as well. Truly, I love this fragrance, year 'round, day or night. Midnight Fantasy is a very wearable, feminine fragrance that took a few days to grow on me. It is not overly complicated, nor is it simple. I just find a perfect medium with this one. The lasting power is unbelievable, really! A few generous sprays in the morning and I can still catch hints of this by the evening. However, I rarely allow it to get to that point, as I love to re-apply my fragrances a couple of times a day as a fantastic "pick me up." I buy the 3.3oz bottle of this at TJ Maxx and the price is a total steal, in my opinion! Nothing about Midnight Fantasy smells cheap or synthetic. The packaging is attractive, but not beautiful like say, my bottle of Kenzo Amour. Still, for the amazing price, this everyday perfume is a great addition to my collection. It is rare that I purchase a fragrance more than twice. Yet, I have purchased MF four times in the past year. I have a unopened bottle for backup, since this most lovely fragrance has been discontinued. Midnight Fantasy surprised me and it is easily one of my most favorites.

Not a very complex scent, but nice...I get mostly the black cherry/plum and vanilla notes, with a hint of musk. Sweet and sexy yet has a freshness and slight tartness to it. It's not too heavy, either. Perfectly pleasant fragrance. Plus I love these round, sparkle-studded bottles...very pretty.

I really love this perfume! I've had 4 bottles of this now and looking for a 5th, I was upset too when I realised EA had stopped manufacturing it. Ebay still has it and select retailers with backstock still have it as well.

This is a deeper perfume than many of her others, probably more inclined to say sexy rather than fun, and its a gourmand of course. I note a strong blueberry smell, though that is probably the mix of the cherry and plum, the amber and musk in the base give this a warm feeling and the vanilla keeps it sweet!

Sillage on this is excellent, though it can be a tad overwhelming if you spray too many times and I dont recommend this for warm weather - it becomes utterly stifling and cloying in the heat.

Love it though, awesome scent, great longevity and really well priced (at least for now), big thumbs up!

with me my nose doesn`t usually pick up on everything but i smelled this and i HAD to know what it was. Great fragence but.... after a while the sweetness gets to you. love the sent in a pass by not wearing it all day.

Midnight Fantasy is a very fruity fragrance. It's a bit more darker than the original Fantasy and not as overly sweet. The opening is really, really fruity. I definitely smell alot of plum and sour cherry. I want to say there's blueberries in it. Perhaps because of the color and shape of the bottle. The heart of this fragrance is supposed to be floral, but I don't smell the foral at all in this fragrance. In fact, I don't get the spice of amber or musk or vanilla, though I guess it's there somewhere because the fruity sweetness is there. Honestly speaking, the opening is fruity, the middle notes are fruity and the drydown is fruity. You pretty much get nothing but a large dose of blueberries and plums. I like Midnight Fantasy. It's a more grown up fragrance than Fantasy. It's very interesting. It's girly and flirty and definitely geared towards teens or young adults. I woulld lable it as an evening summer fragrance. If you like dark, fruity perfumes, then this is the bottle of juice you should buy next.

I usually don't like Britney's fragrances, but this one is great (surprisingly). On me it smells like plum pudding, very edible. I think the fragrance is blended very nicely – nothing stands out but yet I can smell every one of the notes listed. The silage is good and so is the staying power. I wouldn't define this as "sexy" rather than cute and flirty. In my opinion a woman of any age can pull this off. Also the packaging is beautiful (I mean the outer box) – it’s designed in purple shades and to me looks like something taken from Harry Potter books – dreamy and mysterious. Good job!

When it arrived yesterday with the post, (blind puchase)and i sprayed on me a little being impatiente, all i could get was sugared sour cherries, very much a mall's public toilets scent. Today, after my night shower i sprayed it on again, and was just patient to see what happens after the public toilet phase gets over. W|ell... that was a really nice surprise, now an hour and a half after it smells like homemade lemonade_although i cant see any citrus in it in the notes- not as sweet as in the beginning and dare I think?!!Does not smell of sour cherries very much anymore, less sugary, more interesting!!!!!Lets see how it goes through the night.....something tells me its going to be a winner, even for me , not a Fantasy fan!!!

First time i sprayed on, felt i was entering the public toilets in a big mall,, so much like a toilet strong deodorant,, about five min after i am starting to feel all this plum turning into a powdery, not that unconfortable smell.. I ll give my details tomorrow morning, after some hours of letting it get on,, also gives woofs of sugar,, loads of it, but not in a bad way..

I love this one. I've used half of a one ounce bottle in the month I've had it, and I switch up perfumes every couple of days. So... I go through a lot of it. My only complaint is what seems to be a lack of staying power, but I'm hoping to remedy that by getting the lotion. Staying power or not, I love it too much to discontinue it's use. Sometimes I feel like it smells more like a tasty sweet, but it definitely has it's charm.

I LOVE this fragrance! I have smelled it only twice at the store and bought it today. After a few bad experiences I don't trust my nose at stores anymore and have stopped buying them.

However after testing it on my arm last week, I was sniffing my wrist all night. :) It was so soft, sweet and yummy. What a pretty scent! I think it is such a nice balance of something sweet, there definately is a trace of gourmand, but it is delicate. It doesn't overpower you with praline, or caramel, or white chocolate, or any overly sweet treat. Those have always been to strong for me, so this is just divine. I am hoping I feel the same way in a few days! I will test it the next week and see if it still grows on me.

But I have to say, I have wanted it ever since I smelled it a week ago and have been thinking of buying it ever since! I actually took a trip to the store just to smell it again and if I still felt the same grab it! What a nice treat!

The gourmand part of it is vanilla but it is soft delicate and smooth. Very light. And there are berries and fruit. It definitely has a desert feel to it, but it isn't overkill. I had to spray it a few times to really smell it the first time, which to me is a good sign I won't regret it later. :)

I just adore this one. There is (smelling wrists lol) definitely some kind of delicious food thing going on. But so feminine. It is perfect. :) It isn't chemical smelling, and blends really nicely with your skin as if its a part of you. It seems to me it probably would be something that if a young man or boyfriend got really close it would be something that whispers "come closer" or "kiss me". It is sweet, yummy, addictive, and fun. Is there a slight bubblegum thing going on? or a trace of light frosting? I can't pinpoint it, but I just love it. :)

I was so surprised and tickled pink when I first smelled it, because unfortunately I really disliked other Britney fragrances before. They were horrible to me. But this was so good! The absolute opposite experience. :) I couldn't stop smelling my wrists as I walked around the store lol. :) This fragrance is such a delight. :) It isn't designer or complex by any means. But this one is for feeling flirty and young and having fun. Sometimes you just want life to be simple, fun, and maybe delicious. :) Yum!

First of all let me comment that this purfume has a very long lasting scent! It reminded me of baby phat golden goddess but I liked this MUCH better!. It is rather sweet and my friend didn't like it at all when she took a whiff...but then again she's pregnant and likes scents along the 'Curve' line.

I had it once and I think it was the first and the last...

I don´t understand why, but boys like this soooo much. When I wore it, many boys ask me what perfume is, and they say is sooo sweet and femenine (even want to bite me, because they say this smells like sweets).

However, it´s too strong for me. I have to recognize it´s a very original scent, because is like a blueberry pie mixed with vanilla and grapes...but a few minutes after spray it, I only smell blueberries, blueberries and blueberries. Intoxicating and boring, of course.

So it reminds me the scent of Ambi Pur. My opinion is that this is perfect like toilet fragrance, but I don´t want this to be my signature scent.

This Is by far my favorite of all her perfumes, I can't put my finger in exactly what the note is, but its amazing! Maybe blueberry, but not quite. Its addicting! I wish it stayed longer though, Maybe my skin just eats perfume, because I can still smell it on my clothes a day later, but on my skin, maybe an hour.

This scent a little bit darker and lighter than classic one, Fantasy. But don't expect pure-woman, romantic fragrance with depth :) Midnight Fantasy is just perfect... candy floss. It was time when I do hate it, it was nightmare for me even to smell it from the bottle and one day - everything change ("Never say never" - remember that). I've started to see it as a great, very funny sweets, which you buy on the sunny day on circus-trip. You can't expect from MF seriousness, classy or adultness - no. It's for joyful, young-souled people who don't take life too serious ;)
And its even has a little touch of mysterious... :) Because generalously it's very blue, sour and pretty scent.

The bottle is amazing. All this bottles - with round bomb incrusted with little diamonds - remind me of arabian architecture from "1000 and One Night". So Circus.

Sugared berries. I can see where you get the 'blueberry' note but I think that is the plum you smell which is similar here. It is quite prominent in this fragrance, and is followed by cherry. Don't really get any flowers - it is very sugary fruity. Quite interesting but you have to be 'in the mood' to wear such a sweet scent. I am a sweet scent lover but this one is even too sweet for me, although in a different way than original Fantasy(which I actually hate). Still I think after wearing this for a while it would give me a toothache. Try it if you like sweetness, Midnight Fantasy is quite something unusual.

The plum and the sour cherry notes in this fragrance are yummy enough, but in the combination with the freesia note they remind me a fruity chewing gum and make this fragrance sound a little bit childish. If this fragrance was less sweet and without the fressia note, I would like it more. For me this fragrance is sickly sweet enough. I can't wear it for a long time. I will not buy it again.

I smelled this on someone in my local supermarket and was so stricken I HAD to ask what it was, but when I smelt it on myself I was dissapointed. :( the 11yr old I was with summed it up-lollies, lots and lots of lollies. it was ok, but abit tooo intense, after about an hour it was slightly better, and I had hopes for the drydown but when it came all I got was strong,sickly cough medicine. a real shame, as it did smell lovely in the store, must be partly my own chemistry with this but I couldn't even persuade myself to buy it fro the GREATLY reduced price, which says something about how dissapointed I was :/

This is one of my favorites is really girly,flirty,sexy,delicius,romantic,totally night out...,If this perfume was a color it would be purple,the smell is soo delicius and addictive,at first spray is all about forest fruits,then it become more floral i get a lot of fressia at the drydown the amber and vanilla dominates the scent,the bottle is beautiful,i would love to get a Body Lotion of this (I think is non existent),the price is high but it worth it,stays all day on my skin,when i wear it everybody ask me what im wearing. ;)

I love Midnight Fantasy. It smells like sour rasberry candy spray that you spray in your mouth. Its a very happy scent and also energizing. when I spray this on I feel fresh and happy.

My good friend loves this fragrance! She can not get enough of it and knowing my love for perfumes she bought me a bottle as a gift! I do like this fragrance, I find it has a great berry smell. Not "fruity" but berry! The plum and the cherry mixed together give this lovely blackberry or black currant feel to it. Smells juicy and yummy. I don't find myself wearing it very often. There is a little something missing that drives me to pick it up from my dresser and spray it on. As I smell it now I wonder why I don't I really do love it. Sometimes I find it a bit flat, but it has its own charm to it.

This smells fabulous once it's first sprayed... yet after lingering on your skin, it smells extremely synthetic. It reminds me of blueberry candles. When first sprayed however, it smells like blueberries and vanilla- alot like blueberry muffins! If only it could smell great throughout...

My fiance loved this scent when he bought it for me and so did I... it was like a bottle of seduction. The bottle was beautiful and I enjoyed putting it on for the first few days but then people started to comment that I smelt like lollies or that my perfume was "food-like". I was less than impressed and started to hate it. People almost never commented on the scent and if they did it was to tell me I smelt like candy. It was a let down. This is a sweet and seductive scent. The mixture of plum, cherry and vanilla is awesome. I feel sexy wearing this perfume.

I believe I have written a review on this sometime earlier as well? Well, here goes again for a better one. First of all, generally I don't like celebrity fragrances.Very,very rarely do I even try them out as the bottles look cheap and tacky, they are by celebs I tend to be not too fond of and they smell cheap. But there are ofcourse always exceptions.When I was younger, I was a huuuge fan of Britney.And honestly, even tho I hardly listen to popmusic, I still like Britney's stuff. But anyway, onto the Midnight Fantasy.

I haven't tried any of the other Fantasies, except well, ofcourse MF. MF was purely tested on behalf of the good reviews it got here as the bottle is slightly offputting but irl it looks a bit better. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked MF and added it to my wishlist.Last week I tested it again and I wasn't sure whether or not it was for me. But as it didn't cost much and there was still this blueberry pieness to it, so I bought it.

It's a very pleasant smell, blueberries.Did I mention that I love blueberries? On my skin it's fruity, juicy and super yummy. There's this certain artificialness to it, but it's all good. :)My sister tried it as well, but her cskin chemistry doesn't match with MF and this really weird nasty note shows up.

I've used it for daytime wear and I think it works fine either way. Many here say it's very strong, I think it's pretty light and I really wish the lasting power were a bit better as it seems to fade from my skin in a few hours despite it being EdP.

But all in all MF is a wonderful fragrance and I have no regrets in buying it.:D

I remember smells this for the first time at Dillards...and I loved it!!!!
At the time i didnt have any money so I wanted til I got payed again...and I went back to Dillards to get it and they didnt have any I was sooo upset :(
Then like a year or two later me and my friend were going shopping...and I went over to the perfume counter to see if they had midnight fantasy and the women said I dont think we do but I will go look any way! When she came back holding the box I was soooo HAPPY!!!! She said it was the only box back there!!! God wanted me to have that perfume!!!

Midnight Fantasy is a very fruity fragrance. It's a bit more darker than the original Fantasy and not as overly sweet. The opening is really, really fruity. I definitely smell alot of plum and sour cherry. I want to say there's blueberries in it. Perhaps because of the color and shape of the bottle. The heart of this fragrance is supposed to be floral, but I don't smell the foral at all in this fragrance. In fact, I don't get the spice of amber or musk or vanilla, though I guess it's there somewhere because the fruity sweetness is there. Honestly speaking, the opening is fruity, the middle notes are fruity and the drydown is fruity. You pretty much get nothing but a large dose of blueberries and plums. I like Midnight Fantasy. It's a more grown up fragrance than Fantasy. It's very interesting. It's girly and flirty and definitely geared towards teens or young adults. I woulld lable it as an evening summer fragrance. If you like dark, fruity perfumes, then this is the bottle of juice you should buy next

Well it smells good but to foody.I smell only plums and nothing else i starts to feel like i am wearing a juice or something.Good to smell but not to wear for me.

I really like this perfume,it's so foody,you want to eat it,sweet,yet not too sweet.I don't like Fantasy nor Curious,as it smells like sugary booze and musky to me,but this is really a sexy young smell.I use it for a night out,and I got compliments,I dont wear it everyday,as it's strong and very long-lasting,you could get sick of it.

I have changed my mind about this perfume. If you read my previous review you will find that I used to hate it. But a few days ago I saw the sparkly blue bottle on my friends shelf and I asked her if I could try it. She agreed and as soon as it landed on my skin. It seemed as if all the rotten fruit aroma had disappeared. Beacuse now that I re smelled it. It's actually quiet nice,sure it is rather synthetic but at the same time it smells of sweet blueberry. It's actually better than Fantasy beacuse it's not as sugary. But as soon as the blueberries and plums settle down I can smell that note that I do not like. The cherries but they fade after a while and leave a trail of nice sugary sweetness.

I had 2 bottles of this for the longest.I have one that I was using and 1 brand new back up.Well, I returned my back up bottle to Marshalls the other day because I am just not feelin this one anymore and I still have a more than half full 1st bottle that I have had for over a year now.I still have 3 bottles of the original Fantasy because turns out I like that one much better and to think all along I thought midnight was my favorite guess not!

well, I must edit my toughts on this too. After I bought a big bottle, I must say, that this is in my top 5. It is my longest lasting perfume. Once I got a nice compliment from a boy in our dance class. He would know, what I was wearing, because he already smelled something like that, and he liked it really. It smelled to him like cherry/apple pipe tobacco or cherry/apple scented hookah (water pipe???). For me, it is a nice mix of pink sugar and poison, with some balancing, harmonizing, silent notes. When I want to be candy sweet without being too mainstream, I wear this. I can smell here amarena ice cream topped with sweet, real, rich whipped cream & blackberry sirup, and a really "clean" note can be found here too, I think this could be the freesia note. On some days there is a sponge cake smell deep underneath it all too ( my grandma makes sponge cakes with lots of eggs with or without cocoa regularly:)). It is addicting like pink sugar. That is not always a sign of class, rather a sign of simple, but nice pleasures.:) And gothic? Yes, of course. When I wear it, I am in the mood of listening to Emilie Autumn& Co.:)

I have never been a fan of Britneys perfumes. But I decided to give this one a try. I soon realized that I had made a mistake. Whilist this perfume might suit someone who likes cherries. I think it smells abit too much like syrup. I qoute a review below:

This is one of Britney's best perfume. Its a very beautiful seductive smell. It smells like dark candy with plum and framboise. And the lasting power is great. I never get compliments, but with this I do=)

This one is so berry, berry delicious. LOL!. Seriously it smells like delectable iced blueberries but it works all year round for me and it smells great! ;') I have received a number of compliments and have had people around me inquire as to what smells so yummy?! This perfume is very fruity yet very rich and has incredible staying power. It doesn't smell like beer, potpourri or artificial to me. I would even classify it as a Floral Fruity Gourmand. So if you are looking for something fun and fruity with fantastic staying power I highly recommend trying this one. You also can't beat the price.

Its a very beautiful seductive smell. it opens with a nice blueberry ish smell and then fades into a nice strong orchid scent. its very good for night but also good for the day. the packaging is beautiful and i love it!

i bought this perfume and loved it instantly. at first i smelled very dark and fruity and then settles down to a strong smell of orchid. its very seductive and sexy i love it!

I had actually tested this fragrance about a month and a half ago and liked it then, so you can imagine how surprised I was when I wore the first time today and found myself extremely nauseas and overwhelmed (and it was only 2 spritzes) I think this is the first perfume to make me retch.

Midnight fantasy starts off with a burst of what came across to me as a mixture of berry juices and blueberry yogurt. Sorbearmui, I know what you mean when you said it reminded you of Yakult. There seems to be a note in the top that is reminiscent of something fermented. The berry juices and yogurt persists for about 20 minutes, then it turns into a very heady, powdery floral (bathroom) potpourri that lasts for a couple of hours. MF becomes rounder, creamier and more powdery as the day progresses, and becomes much a more sensuous, amber-vanillic dry down with echos of the berry and floral notes that previously made its appearances, but it has now settled and calmed down and matured. I think this is the only remotely sexy part of this fragrance.

It saddens me to conclude that I did not like this fragrance, because I LOVE the bottle and the packaging. (one of the reasons why I bought it) Berries, yogurt and flowers just don't mix well with my chemistry I guess, though I'm sure other fans of fruity-gourmands would appreciate this fragrance a lot more than I do.

just smelled this today and i must say that although i am a floral fruity person this one kinda made me sick. maby i should give it another chance but the first impresion is not very good. it smelled to me like very sweet candy and bubblegum. somehow cheap and i don't know how... i'll test it some more, maby on an empty stomac...i miss the balancing sour note

oh yes.. i simply love this smell though i haven't used it for couple of weeks already. It is very sweet.. but in pleasant way and it has an unbelievable staying power! I often get lots of compliments when i wear it.. i think it suits to girls/women of any age - my mother loves this fragrance too.

I have this and I love it less than the moment I got it. It smells exactly like a Japanese lactic acid drink called "Yakult". I love that drink and so I find this smell really funny and I like it. But once I wore it to work, my colleague wishpered"um....what's that smell?"She was not talking to me and she didn't know it was me who wore the scent that was impleasant to her. OMG,I feel so sorry...I finally realized this is not appealing to others...I won't wear it to work again, I will only use it when I go shopping. I don't want to be offensive to those who work with me.

this perfume is so over rated. i bought two because of all the great review here so when i tried it i got the wow effect. the second day it reminded me of Robitussin liquid medication that's smell boozy. third day i had people smelling me and asking what they think. younger teens seems to like it, men says it reminds them of an exotic bathroom freshener (Yikes!) and some of the ladies only think it's okay.
Personally i prefer the original Fantasy. I had a chance to get a sample of it and tried it for a week and loved it so i'm going to trade my other unopened midnight fantasy for the regular fantasy and keep the open one already to try and sway my scent'ses again.

I wore this to work today and thought it was iffy but when i stepped into the freezer i was struck by the impression of the sugar plumb fairy. This just shines as a winter frag, I will be wearing this when the weather gets crisp again.

I love it! It smells so yummy! Absolutely different from the original Fantasy. This is more dark and fruity. It is sweet as well, but not so strong as the pink bottle. A great perfume for a romantic date.

Mmmm...this is so yummy! I also get a whole lot of blueberries out of this so yes, I would definitely love to have it.=) I only wish the bottle were a bit more appealing but at the least the scent is good and in the end it's the most important thing.=)

This is a surprising scent.

Yes, it begins with a syrupy ice cream sundae topping crammed with fruit. Sugary as all get out and generally not my thing at all, but in a few minutes the fruits seem to macerate into this sort of boozy fruit concoction that my aunt used to make and only serve to adults. But still on ice cream or pound cake, so it's very sweet for a while.

Later the freesia kicks in with the musk and the fragrance turns into something quite nice.

I do not get a beery note as some have mentioned, just a fermented fruit (deliberately fermented not that rotted in a bowl thing) feeling, some freesia and a splash of musk. The opening is outlandishly fruity, but it does develop into a very pleasant thing as the floral is dry and bright and contrasts with the inebriated fruit toppings. Wish I could remember what Auntie called that stuff.

This would be a nice fragrance to wear on a cool spring evening or for a bright autumn night. It needs a breeze as it has plenty of sillage.

Im in love with this perfume one of my new top fav's. The smell is very sexual and is perfect for the night.. And my god the staying power is incredible, i swear i wear alot of perfumes but this one kills the others with its staying power.

I Love it. It's like a creamy blueberry but there is more depth and character to it with exotic florals. It's sweet, but not a tooth ache sugary perfume. Amazing on skin, and I think more people are catching onto it. A famous Writer has written about it in the NY Times. This is a delicious gourmand. I normally hate fruity perfume, but this is almost edible. Update: Men love this perfume. I get compliments on it constantly. It has the right mix of youthful, and edible with depth.

It is definitely sweet and very fruity. I can't separate the floral notes. For me, everything combines into a dark and mysterious smell. It is strong and stays for more than 24 hours. The bottle is beautiful and well suited to this fragrance.

Midnight is my fav of Britney's fragrances. Tons of plum. I've been told I smell like fruit loops and cotton candy when I wear this. It is so exotic and unique. This lasts through a workout too.

This fragrance is in no way similiar to Fantasy. It's much darker and fruitier. You can really smell the plum and sour cherry in this fragrance, but I don't find it sickening at all.

The only time I do find this scent sickening is when I try wearing this during the day. Because this fragrance is so intensely fruity, I can't help feeling nauseous and overwhelmed. A girl on the bus the other day had doused herself in Midnight Fantasy and I heard quite a few passengers whisper to one another about how strong and headache inducing this scent was in an inclosed space.

However, when worn on a cool night, the scent changes and becomes something that I love. I rather enjoy wearing Midnight Fantasy when I go out at night with my friends, and it goes down well in a nightclub atmosphere.

I find the scent to be very sensual, seductive and intriguing. I always feel mysterious and sexy when wearing this. Another added bonus is that the scent is long-lasting, so it won't have vanished after the night is over.

There's so much about this incredible perfume that words are definitely not enough. Those who don't like celebrity fragrances might want to make an exception for this one. To my mind, Midnight Fantasy is the best out of three Fantasies. It's definitely a well-done and well-promoted scent; it always catches attention at work, in a restaurant, anywhere. It stays for a long time on skin and opens beautifully with time. There's that hint of wine that I adore. There are some fragrances with this note that smell modern yet really deep and sparkly: Midnight Fantasy, Amor Amor by Cacharel, Fire Me Up by Avon, Poison by Dior, Magical Moon by Hanae Mori. If there was a new olfactive group for those scents I would call it "wine-like fragrances". It's such a captivating perfume that I became addicted from the first sniff. Cherry and plum together make a mouthwatering effect. It is a true magical fantasy in a bottle: fruit fusion, bright freesia petals and a glass of Château Margaux. Le chef-d'œuvre dans le flacon..

MIDNIGHT FANTASY is strong on the fruit notes. The notes of plum & cherries stayed with me all the way through the floral hearts notes.
The result was that I couldn’t separate any of the floral notes. The vanilla in the base was also very subtle; I could pick out the musky tones.
I’d have thought the base would be sweet, but it’s not. MIDNIGHT FANTASY is all about the fruity notes.


Personally I love plums & cherries so I do adore MIDNIGHT FANTASY, though it can be sickly in warm weather.

I’d stick to autumn/winter for this.

I had my reservations about this at first because- let's face it, it's Britney Spears, but I bought it nonetheless on the strength of these reviews, and because it was on special offer.

What can I say, I'm so pleasantly surprised with this fragrance. It is sweet and smells edible, with very strong black cherry and vanilla notes on me. I don't think it's at all teeny-boppery and would recommend it for all ages.

For some weird reason, this smells on my skin like a little sister of the original Poison. It is lasting, but the plum-marmelade-vanilla/harsh scent does not change or fade, and it has on me an exquisite dry quality too. I'm sorry for the fact that it stays like it is sprayed out, and doesn't change a lot, and for that, that I only bought an 1 oz bottle.

I had bought this perfume just because of the pretty bottle,not because of the smell.It smells too "teeny" for me. Its a nice smell however, very sweet and it stays on my skin for hours.

I too got a lot of blueberry out of this one...like a deeper version of a strawberry shortcake doll. interestingly, i detected tea in this as well even though it is not listed in the notes....personally prefer 'fantasy' more, but this is a less flirty version, more of a slinky, 'lying in wait' kind of perfume. sample this one for sure, you may be surprised.

I fell in love with this the minute I saw the ad in a magazine. I will admit I'm a sucker for advertisement.. Instantly reminded me of Midsummer Night's Dream. and who doesn't love that. I have not purchased this but will some day, I too am a fan of fantasy and have lots of sweeter lemmings right now.. Love this bottle more than the pink... Very Pretty and I love the name..
