New York for Gentlemen Brooks Brothers for men

Oh my lucky stars, a lime chypre! A wonderful little lime and musk chypre that's clean and classy without trying too hard. It's not dated at all (very modern), and the price can't be beat. Not bad longevity for a citrus fragrance. Try it!

Ok, I take back my earlier review. It's not that bad of a scent. But it's still like a watered down Acqua di Gio. Pleasant but dull, and doesn't last all that long.

Very classy and easy to wear. I get noticed by women nearly every time I wear this wonderful fragrance. While many will think it doesn't smell like anything special up front, the progression and dry down really reveal an outstanding scent. I'm thoroughly pleased with this purchase, and I'd recommend it over many of its competitors (the usual anemic department-store fragrances by Kenneth Cole, Armani, and the likes). It cost the same as a department store fragrance, but it is of higher quality.

Best way to describe it: fresh (due to light citrus), woody, and green aromatic fragrance.

I was just at a CVS Drug store where this fragrance was on display with a tester bottle to try. I did try it, not finding anything out of the ordinary. A good fragrance but I certainly have smelled better and so passed I on the purchase. By the time I got home 20 to 30 minutes later I kept smelling a wonderful smell and I thought my dad had some new cologne that he was wearing while at my house. I asked him what it was and he said he wasnt wearing any. So then I thought maybe I should smell my shirt again where I sprayed the New York 45 minutes earlier. WOW! Thats exactly what it was! The fragrance turned into a head turner after the cool down. I went back to the store and I bought 2 bottles. I own over 30 diffrent colognes ranging from the very basic Stetson to as far up the scale as Herrera or Kenneth Cole. My top end usually tops out at Polo Double Black or Cool Water and stuff like that. I just cant see spending the money on fragrances like True Religion or anything else that is 3 figures. So based on my spending habits of $50.00 or less, this cologne by Brooks Brothers ranks right at the top. I just loove the cool down.

I wear my brothers all of the time . It is beautiful for fall and winter. It has a very deep feeling to it and the base notes last a long time ... If I smelled this on a man I liked it would blow my mind

Great smelling Juice. Classic without being stodgey,you can imagine Don Draper wearing a cologne like this.I purchased this in San Francisco and have received nothing but "oh my what is that cologne it's amazing".If you want a good long lasting fall/winter cologne this would be the one.

I first smelled this fragrance while shopping on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago. I was walking around the various shops smelling the signature designer fragrances when I stumbled upon this and the corresponding ladies fragrance. I fell in love and could not get this scent out of my mind.

It's so classy, but not old man. Very lovely. Initially, I could smell the citrusy note and a little bit of the flowery notes. However, soon the fragrance turned very woodsy and masculine. I could not believe what I was smelling! The layers in this fragrance were so deep and intense - but not overwhelming.

I think this scent is worth every dime and it even comes in a nice box worth keeping!
