Pure Woman Bruno Banani for women

u was attracted by the bottle and took a spray on my wrist in the perfumestore. it smells immediately really unconventionl fruity and somehow intoxicating. mango-cyclamen-berries ! after 10 minutes nice whafts coming up to my nose while shopping and i had to go back and buy the bottle.
unfortunately the scent doesn t last long! after 1h it was hardly detectable and after 2 hours max it's completaly gone.
well, finally after some weeks to bottle fall down in my bathroom and split :( all the juice was all over in my bathroms floor... eeeew, i was soooo sad, because this perfume is indeed an isntant moodlifter and it smells somehow exotic and transfers you immediately to carefree holiday feelings.
it smellt so good some days after in my bathroom and then it was gone forever :( such a pitty! but wouldn t rebuy because of its weak staying power.

its a exotic FRUITY fragrance but its SOFT and WARM not that strong and fresh like other fruity fragrances
this one is soft well balanced
it smells like BERRY FRUITS with mango and a fresh note of mandarin orange what makes this scent also a bit SOUR there,s also a light vanilla note for the warmth ad i smell peonies what makes you smell the GIRLY side of it
Its also sweet bubblegum sweet as the colour af the bottle

Its not an original fragrance it smells like so many other soft fruity perfumes like cat deluxe at night xx by Mexx wild, Miss sixty Rock Muse, and Puma i,m going smells almost the same

But i find something outstanding about this fragrance because it has something NAUGHTY and BOlD and feminine like all Bruno Banani fragrances

That makes it worth buying
I like it also because it reminds me the most of summer
and its also very suitable for night out beacause of the naughty bold side of it

I had a bottle of Pure Woman about a year ago and I wish I had left myself a sample because my tastes in perfume have changed since then and nowadays I see cyclamen among the ingredients ( I like it) and I can recall it was detectable there. It was a bit sour fragrance (sweet and sour) and I could detect sandalwood also (I guess so), I don't see it listed but I remember Pure Woman had a beautiful wood.

The fragrance can be liked and its quality is a good medium shelf. Good sillage and lasting power.

Smell is great, but doesn't last for too long :(. Anyways I loved this perfume, it's perfect for summer parties. It makes me feel like the woman in this perfume's commercial.

I received this perfume as a birthday gift and I was surprised at how sweet it was. Ripened strawberries and powdered sugar. Lasting power is 1 hour. :(

Pure Woman is the most pleasant fragrance among all Bananies and the most natural of them all. I used to wear it last summer in my country house, that time it was very suitable. First there was black currant, sweet and sour at the same time, that the big mango appeared, it was sweet but not cloying. I didn’t recognize any flowers, only black currant-mango duet! Lasting power is so-so, but you don’t need to care about it in the sunny summer day. Pure Woman is really good fruity fragrance for hot weather.

This one lives or dies with body chemistry. It can be everything from amazing and incredibly sexy to cloyingly sweet and artificial.

Pure Woman doesn't only turn out differently on different people but it changes on me as well. Most of the time it works very well for me, I absolutely love it on good days but it's still a nice (if a bit girly) fragrance when I'm having a bad hormones day. A friend of mine on the other hand turns into sugar on legs when wearing it.

It starts out with black currant and cream with just a hint of green tangerine. I'm not sure where the cream comes from, I guess it might be black currant mixing with freesia. On a really bad day it tends to be a little too sweet for the first few minutes but that impression fades quickly. On a good day I get a note that doesn't quite smell like but reminds me a lot of cinnamon bark. I wonder if that's amber and vanilla peeking through from the base. It's that special something that adds a mysterious seductive slightly spicy angle to the scent and turns it into more than just the sum of its notes.
The heart is floral and very tender. I get soft cyclamen with a whiff of peony and mango.
It dries down to a gentle and very feminine combination of amber and vanilla.

The question about the lasting power isn't that easily answered. It depends on how little you are willing to accept as "still there". I'd say it stays actually perceptible for about 5 to 6 hours but even after 12+ hours I can still feel it more than smell it. It makes my skin smell slightly different from usual, really comfortable and just a little better.

I'll admit that it's a rather girly fragrance, by far the sweetest one I'm wearing regularly and I know that a lot depends on body chemistry. But if you didn't like it maybe you simply oversprayed it. I say give it another try, you might miss out on a fantastic smell. I feel like I have to add this because this one's easily oversprayed and that's exactly what I did once and it didn't turn out pretty.

(Is it just me or am I overusing my Ys today? I was going to write excessively using, see how I steered clear of that rock ;-) )

i found it similar 2 Christina Aguilera by Christina Aguilera... it lasts long enough 4 me, and even it's not mine -it's my mother parfume- i really loved it...!!

too much mango!! Although its not bad for a cheaper perfume, reminds me of The One. I like it a bit, even i'm not into floral fruity scents. Not the most complex and sophisticated scent but it has some appeal. Its very warm and sweet.

love it but poor staying power, such a pitty for this lovely fruity mouthwatering scent. not to sweet, just perfect balanced watery/juicy and just delightful for summer. i would compare it with a fresh cutted watermelon with it's watery juicy red pulp to wanna be eated immediately :)

Bought it when I studied in Germany. My male friend helped me to make the decision and he loved it. I liked and used it quite a lot at first but from one moment I couldn't stand it anymore and when I came back home I gave it away.
But the scent is pure strawberries from top to base. And very sweet strawberries indeed. It was the sweetness that made me to give it away. But if the user doesn't spray it too much, the sweetness can be nice. But I prefer it on someone else.
It's more for younger women and teens, the sweetness would be inappropriate on elderly ladies. Reminds me of Nina Ricci Nina A BIT.

A lot of memories are associated with scents. That's why I've decided to buy this scent again. It will remind me the times in Germany. Just like I always think of those times when I spray on Estee Lauder's Emerald Dream. The only problem is that they don't sell it here and I have to ask my friend in germany to get it.

This is my friend´s signature scent and it works great with her chemistry. It is sweet vanilla scent with the hint of black currant. It reminds me a bit of Christina Aguilera by Christina Aguilera but this one seems to be more natural and better balanced. The previous reviewer said that´s the "honey pot" for men and it is so true. It is very sexi and sensual scent. On my friend it lasts and lasts and lasts and the sillage is also amazing on her - you can tell she is in the room but it is not cloying or overpowering.

EDIT: Though this isn´t one of those holy grail fragrances, and its attitude is very simple - to please and to attract (mainly men) I have to say that this friend of mine who wears it is the best smelling woman I know - isn´t it amazing what a body chemistry can do?

Really nice cheap perfume!

It's not that bad :)!

I find it similar to I'm Going by Puma. It's more sweet, strong and rich.
The notes that they have in common are blackcurrant and freesia. I don't get the specific notes but it's very floral and fruity.

A nice little perfume for everyday - for not very hot days. I got a sample and I'm wearing it for a second day now, and I'm getting so many compliments on it, I never get so many with 'my' fragrances :)
My man simply adores it, but I won't buy the whole bottle ;)

I can't stand this one - it's an annoying fragrance that boasts with its strong, one-sided scent...like Bruno Banani woman does, as well.

for my taste the mango fruit is a bit overpowering, but the base notes are fantastic and have much similarity with d&g 'the one'

Super, fantastic, lasts long and brings emotional satisfaction.

In the beginning I also thought that I could smell strawberries and cream. The scent was so wonderful and fruity so I sniffed my wrist properly and it´s no doubt that the wonderful smell is black currant. Mostly the green, fresh leaves but also with a touch of lemon.
I guess I was a little bit of a coward as I sprayed it on on my way to work ´cause this is a fragrance I would love to feel all around me for hours.
Wear Pure woman and you will fall in love with both Bruno Banani and yourself. :D

Bruno Banani has been really a great & attractive one. Stays longer & has a great smell...I just loved it. Looking forward to buy one for my wife..

strange, why there is no strawberies in it..? are teh fragarance notes not complete here>? Ihadn't a chance to smell this but my sister says the strawberies are very persisitant here..and its very sweet. I would like to know if strawberies are among the ingredients

It's the most fantastic fragnance I have ever taste. Bruno Banani pure woman it's now my favourite perfume.It suits in all occations and it's smell has duration.
