I used it just yesterday, cause it was raining and 'cold' (and that was the perfect time to wear Brit) and I paid more attention and totally agree with the lime top note/bit masculine thing, which I haven't noticed before.
Anyway, the vanilla dominates.

It's super sweet - very strong vanilla smell - which i really like, but very classy, elegant. I like it a lot but I don't wear it very often cause I live in a HOT city and this works better in cold wheather.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
My skin usually soaks up most mild smelling scents i.e. Oscar de la rente - Oscar, and I can no longer smell them on me so have to constantly keep spraying. But....this one....is perfect for me!

Thanks Urban Skies and Chaosnmotion. Your right, too masculine. Don't want to even remotely smell like a man for my husband. I'm over this one too.

P.S. I just bought the EDT today and one of the many reasons I went for it is because the bottle is pink plaid. The EDP is not pink. I'm picky about bottles and prefer class over gimmicks. It's been difficult trying to find a new fragrance over Valentines season 2008. So much to choose from. Burberry Brit does lack musk where as Amour Amour has it. The Amour Amour bottle looks so plastic though. What else can I say. Happy Shopping.

Was looking for a new oriental/floral, something with class but youthful and affordable. Almost bought The One by D&G but too pricy, J'Adore but too bored and finally almost went for Tresor out of desperation. Though the lime top note can be mistaken for a masculine scent, it can also be thought of as sparkling and refreshing as a sprintz in a cool drink on a hot summer day. It does have peony on mid-note and then dries down to Almond, Vanilla and Tonka Bean. One blogger on another site thought this scent was similar to Amour Amour on the end note. Overall, it's non-offensive, comforting, soft and sweet. I live along the Gulf Coast and expect in the coming humid heat to smell like a baking cookie. They say men like those scents that most smell like food. We'll see.

Warm and sweet (vanilla), but also a little bit masculine. At first I thought it was a unisex fragrance.

I didn't like it. To me it was almost bordering on masculine in fragrance and not at all feminine. It just didn't do anything for me.

Burberry perfumes are always runner ups with me. This one is less powerfull than the original / London Britt... More adequate for summer wear. Thumbs up!

My all time favourite perfume, it does not cause head ache though it is long lasting
