I am a Dandaleon CB I Hate Perfume for women and men

Being a slightly anti-floral person (floral scents generally don't suit my skin chemistry and often give me a headache), I tried a sample of 'I'm a Dandelion' out of curiosity more than anything. It's lovely, and not like anything I've tried before. I don't really get the soapiness, just a delicious note of the mighty dandelion with undertones of freshly cut green grass. This mellows over time to... the smell of a fresh summer's day? There are other perfumes from this house that I prefer, but I take my hat off to the creator of this. I can't think of another perfume that has transported me to a sunny valley covered in a blanket of dandelions, which is pretty fantastic considering that in reality I'm sat in an office looking at a very grey sky!

like it but it is a bit too soapy smelling for me. okay if worn with other scents. better for spring and summer.

Why, yes you are a dandelion—sort of.

Many of the CB I Hate Perfume scents have a sharp floral top note that mellows with time. In I am a Dandelion this flower becomes slightly soapy and a little cloying. I have never spent much time sniffing dandelions, but I don’t recall all this sweetness, and because I’ve tasted the nutty, green leaves, I expected something earthier and softly bitter.

To me this is not a literal interpretation, but more a playful rendition of the dandelion’s colors, yellow and green.

I am a Dandelion dries down to an overall pleasant enough scent reminiscent of cut grass, but not as fresh,lush,clean and evocative as Demeter’s Firefly.

In the end the question is, are YOU a dandelion? I guess I am not.
