Being a huge fan of Christopher Brosius and his work, this ones simplicity intrigued me.
I fell in love with it right away.
It starts off very green and refreshing, very very grassy. It reminds me a bit of his Greenbriar 1968.
After the initial grassy opening you begin to get that sweet floral from the violets, almost as if youre smelling one freshly picked from a grassy field, it's sutble but definitely noticable which is why I think it seems so real. It's not a slap in the face whatsoever. It's very clean, fresh and soothing in a sense.
I also get a hint of dirt. The violet smell reminds me a tiny bit of a violet house cleaner my grandmother used bringing back memories of my childhood at her house. But it only slightly resembles the cleaner, because this is MUCH fresher and far more realistic smell of violets than any other violet scent I've tried. Not at all synthetic smelling.
It stays very true to the description on his website, its the simple smell of wild violets growing in the forrest.
This simplicity makes it very easy to wear, very appealing, and very refreshing. I definitely see myself wearing this very often. Along with this purchase I bought the "old leather" premium accord which I also LOVED, and they actually go beautifully together IMO. Anyone who has both should try it for themselves.
If youre looking for something simple, and refreshing give Wild Pansy a try, You wont be dissapointed.

Please tell me where I can find Wild pansy?
A strong and wet smell of green grass and flowers. Smells pretty realistic (and pleasant) and lasts for a long time.
It's a great perfume on its own, but remarkable when layered to add a green note to something darker.
wild pansy is a sweet, gentle perfume that i found quite enjoyable. the opening notes share something in common with Demeter 'firefly' in that there is a wet-stone-after-a-storm scent to it...but in the case of wild pansy it is not overpowering but fleeting and soft. nice fragrance....i am intrigued!
