Euphoria Calvin Klein for women

I'm surprised that no one found this perfume similar to Chanel's, Coco Mademoiselle, and Dune by Dior. Nonetheless, i adore Euphoria, it's a fine balance between: spicy, sensual, sweet and floral scents.

As much as i cant stand wearing what everyone else is wearing.. when it comes to Euphoria.. I dont care. There is a good reason so many are wearing this.. it's gorgeous.. and increadibly sexy. But also almost spiritual and very soft at the same time.... it demands attention while also not being loud at all! I love that quality in a perfume. However , as I sometimes do.. I have overstocked myself with this one, so I do have a bottle that I have up for swap. Check my page for link :)

You are saying that you dont smell the orchid or the musk, the woods, not even the Violet? really?

And as far as britney Spears perfumes.. I'm not a huge fan, I don't like overtly sweet perfumes most of the time but each one of hers for the most part, smells very different from the other. totally different notes in many o.0 I'm sorry to say this, but I think you are either suffering from a case of snobbery or you need to get your sniffer checked. That is all :)

this is my husband's favorite of my perfumes. just enough musky sexiness to make me happy with enough floral prettiness to make him happy. this is my usual 'work perfume' because its not as strong or spicy as most of my other ones.
sometimes i put a spritz of paco rabanne black xs on top to add some peppery spiciness to this and i really love that combination.
i don't smell any pomegranate, its mostly orchid and vanilla-y musk on me.

CK Euphoria is an extremely strong and musky scent. I like the way this smells on other people, but not on me. It's definitely aimed at an older audience.

I love this fragrance and it`s spicy sweet smell. It makes me feel good whenever i wear it.

I've never been a fan of spicy fragrances- so I didn't expect to like Euphoria, --And i was surprised at it's nice dry down. In one instant it seems the spices are too bold and i'm going to be overwhelmed -- and then it suddenly goes all soft and vanilla like.
So i bought a bottle and couldnt wait to wear it- like an adventure into new territory.
Unfortunately, it reminds me strongly of carmex. Don't get me wrong- i like the smell of carmex (the lip balm) but not enough to wish to smell like i use it as body lotion. I am really sensitive to smell associations, hopefully if i wear this a while, carmex will remind me of euphoria instead of the reverse.

Update: I have grown to really enjoy this- ... One last thing tho: BIG pomegranate?? Realy?? I'm not getting that.

Euphoria is interesting ...... is a successful combination between female and male, between night and day ........ I think it's the most successful perfume CK. Positive vote.

This is faaar too spicy for me! I can see how someone else would like it. There are notes in it that are quite lovely - but when push comes to shove, the spice is too overwhelming to enjoy them.

This is seriously sexy stuff.

It's mysterious, spicy and smoky yet still a little sweet.

I have received more compliments with this perfume than any other.

I went out to meet a friend for dinner last week, and wore euphoria for the first time; had just purchased it recently. After driving an hour and a half to the restaurant, unbeknownst to me, I locked my keys in the car. When I came out of the restaurant and realized it, I had to make arrangements for a locksmith to come, as I was actually in another state and didn't know anyone in the area. By the time all was said and done, and the guy showed up to "rescue" me, it was a good 7 hours after i had applied the perfume. As we stood talking outside my car he commented on my perfume and how nice it smelled, saying he knew what it was, but couldn't remember the name, and then described the bottle to me in detail. Two hours of waiting out in the cold and $168 later... oh well, I smiled all the way home :)

Strong, seductive and smoky evening scent.

When I finally first tried this( last year ) I was so excited because many good reviews that I read.

But it was too sweet and strong -so was real put off by it.

I decided to try it the other day and after the intial strong sweetness I liked it.
Now after wearing it a few times I end up finding it doesnt even last long on me -I just had to laugh that it went from one extreme to the other at first being to much for me to bear and now wanting it to last longer.

Anyway a nice scent after all and I see why so many like it :)

Let me start by saying I don't normally like CK women's fragrances...Obsession is terrible, Eternity is so/so, CK One is redundant and unnecessary, Beauty is for older women. I do like Euphoria. I think it's a good thing that Calvin Klein updated their fragrance wardrobe with this. It's definitely more modern than anything else they sell for women.

It's the third year that i have this perfume and i have been wearing it since. I used to love this perfume , it's very sexy , provocative . But maybe by wearing it for a long time it starting of getting boring :S . I don't know why , i really really love this perfume but I just can't stand it anymore and is giving me headache .

One of my favorite friends started wearing this and on her it is a 20 out of 10: confident, sensual, and a bit flirty with an over-ride of mystery. On her, I smell amber (which I love) mixed with woods, orchids and some sort of musky, exotic fruit. I begged a decant, and hoped it would smell as similar on me. Alas, not so. It settled into something that I can best describe as sweetly rotting wood with a few musky orchids tossed around. The amber I so like, did not come out on my skin. And the sillage on me was burdensome. On the right person (more a female scent than male imho), this is incredible! On the wrong one ... it is one that begs to be scrubbed off.

It gives me a headache. It smelled good at first, but it becomes too powerful.

This perfume came to me as a Christmas gift two years ago, and since then I have not found anything more to like about it. I really did try to like it too! (I do not like fragrances that are this sweet.)
To start with, it’s distinctly fruity and cool, with a kind of watermelon-bubblegum burst. But after the initial fruitiness, on my skin it just dissolves into an extremely sweet, cloying, sharp sweet scent. Not floral, not fruity- just overwhelming in sweetness. I cannot detect any of the notes other reviewers are talking about, but then I do not have a sophisticated nose AT ALL.
And after a couple of hours? No, it does not smell any better on me. I do spray with a light hand too, and even that does not sit well on me. Oh well. To me, Euphoria smells almost sickly with a tinge of jasmine somewhere.

I just bought it about three weeks ago and i love it! It smells like nothing Ive ever had before. So unique and sweet! Its really good for the winter!!!

I think it's funny that one reviewer said, "There's nothing like this," because the longer I wore it, the more I thought there are tons of perfumes just like it. I can see why people like it, it's sweet and fruity, but honestly it smells a lot like Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson's perfumes. I don't get any of those beautiful notes I was hoping for...mahogany, resins, orchid...this just smells like vanilla and berries! That's it. No pomegranate either, JUST berries.

If I were a millionaire with tons of money to waste, I'd package this in Britney Spears' packaging. I would bet that people would come on this website talking about how cheap it smells and how it smells like everything else on the market etc. I think sales would plummet.

Bottom line: I like it; I just don't love it.

What more could I possibly add to all the great reviews of Euphoria? I love it so much. It is a warm womanly scent that just works well with my skin and lasts all day.

Starts out lush and fruity (I know it's pomegranate but I get the impression of juicy blackberries every time I spray it) the middle for me is dark orchid and woods, then it dries down to a spicy cigar trace. It is so sexy and I feel like such a gorgeous woman when I wear it. It gives me extra confidence.

I will always want a bottle of this in my collection.

My mom always wore this perfume while I was growing up, so I'm sure I'm bias! My mom is a very fashion-conscious woman, she sports dark-wash skinny jeans with heels at age 50 for crying out loud! (And she can pull it off!) She's picky about her perfumes and this one has been on her shelf continuously. But anyway... I think this smell typifies her, it's such a sexy, strong, mature woman. Yet it's very sensual and inviting at the same time. Unbelievable. I wear this one whenever I'm feeling homesick or nostalgic :) or whenever I go out in the evening and want to smell so seductive!

This fragrance smells like when I smell perfume in magazines. Every time I flip the pages and I was about to open to rub my wrist on the sample...this is what I initially smelled. I know it's weird.

This fragrance is so versatile. On me it doesn't smell strong or masculine. You can wear this anywhere. You can wear it any season. Spring and summer nights. Anytime on autumn/winter. It is sensual, it doesn't try to hard, and smells expensive.

i tried this one & i love it

Euphoria is a baby calf of Jungle L`Elephant by Kenzo. Lighter, less fun and less spicy version of Elephant. For that reason I prefer the first one. But in general a good one anyway.

There is somthing missing from this fragrance it could be fantastic, I think they need to go back into the labs here.

First notes reminded me the smell of those yellow note stickers after somewhile it turned to creammy floral smell. Pleasant fragrance. EDP version stayed on my skin about 5 hours

My sister bought this perfume a few months ago and has been wearing it daily since. I have been having my worst ever patch of migraine headaches during this time and a few weeks ago I finally realised it was her perfume doing it. It has been total hell let me tell you. It is the most tenacious smell I have ever come across. I have to soak my clothes before washing just to try to get the residual smell out! Every time she even walks past me wearing some clothing with a tiny bit of the scent on it it sets me off starting to get pain in my right eye. It also clogs my sinusses terribly and seems to burn as i breathe it in. I feel like I might throw up if I get a whole noseful of it! Anyone who wears this please please think twice! You could be causing people around you to have terrible headaches even if you just walk past them in the street if they're as sensitive to it as I am!

I find Euphoria very inviting off the top! Love the orchid & pomegrant combination. I have the EDT and find it isn't as long lasting as I would like, however. Perhaps I should try the parfum.

At first it smells like nail polish remover and then morphs into intoxicating sweet unisex scent. I think Euphoria is best used in winter time.

I'm glad it's out of fashion because a few years ago everyone wore it.

I wanted to like it, I did. But it turned into something extremely masculine on me, and not really something I would wear. I tried it on paper as well and it pulled the same masculine scent plus more of that floral note( orchid) on top.

I tried this from a sample vial, so I don't know if something from a tester bottle in store would smell different. I just don't recommend blind buying this.

And if I did want to wear a masculine scent, there are many different ones to choose from that I would prefer over this.

Euphoria rocks and was love at first sniff for me! It’s a staple in my collection. For some reason I can’t wear Euphoria without doing the smoky cat eye look and tons of lip gloss. I’m also extremely self- conscious of my hair-do when I wear it. I don’t know why Euphoria inspires me to walk with a swagger, but it does. Euphoria is scary huge in my country. It's similar to a played out Coldplay song on late night radio. I don't care though. I’ve received tons of compliments from men and women. And I’ve also gained a few enemies. This perfume is way too sexy for work; let’s just leave it at that!

I’m just happy it works so well with my chemistry. It’s a tad smoky, but sweet and juicy, like hot raspberries melting in the sun. I think the bottle is uber cool too; it brings to mind spaceships and our digital modern age for me.

This is a "pretty" perfume but it just doesn't do anything for me. I wanted to love it but I just couldn't get past like. Something turns really metallic smelling on my skin and the pomegranate and lotus don't stand out at all to me. It's all floral.....and metallic. A warm, heavy night time scent.

The reason why I’ve refrained from submitting a review of Calvin Klein’s Euphoria is simple: I cannot find words enough to describe how much I love this perfume. I’ve had this perfume for over two years now and unlike many other perfumes in my wardrobe, I very rarely – if ever – get sick of smelling it. Again and again, I find myself reaching for it when the days get colder and the nights get longer.

The opening is unlike anything I have smelt to date: pomegranates and some other fruit note I can’t quite put my finger on, laced with a sugary aroma that is moderately sweet. When sprayed with a sensible hand, it is not overpowering or cloying. The top notes are warm, intriguing, and voluptuous. It’s surprising for me that I should find it so pleasing to my nose, because I’m not all that fond of fruity smells, even if they’re there to make the introduction. Euphoria smells vaguely like some indistinct but perfectly ripened fruit, sprinkled very gently with icing sugar.

The middle and base notes are even more wonderful than the start, with some exotic florals coming in, before you get the vanilla and musk gradually creeping through the fruits and syrup. The conclusion is woodsy and seductive. Euphoria is often described as being dark, but I wouldn’t say she’s all that dark, really although she certainly has an air of mystery about her! Little wonder some people think she smells masculine. She’s deep and sensuous, and even a little bit smoky towards the dry-down. Despite how heavy she can smell at times, she can also be surprisingly gentle. As I’ve said before, it’s all in the application of her. Any more than two or three spritzes and you’re asking for trouble. I highly recommend wearing this in the winter and colder months only. I made the mistake of trying her out on a hot summer’s day in a crowded lecture hall. Big mistake. She's perfect for those special occasions in the winter season - Euphoria blends just wonderfully with the night.

Given how common Euphoria has become, I wouldn’t say smelling her these days would put you exactly into a state of euphoria itself, but it still does come very close when I haven’t smelled her in a while. I’m so glad winter is here again.

I love this scent in the winter. I've been stopped multiple times (a majority of the people men) asking what fragrance I'm wearing. The notes in this perfume really match with my body chemistry and it seems like the fragrance lasts all day. I think the scent is bold, vivacious, and a bit flirty! Love it!

This is my go-to evening fragrance. After the initial burst of pomegranate, it moves to a warm amber/orchid/musk. Very rich scent, it can be a bit masculine particularly as the florals fade and the amber/musk dominates. It has great sillage and is one of the longest lasting perfumes I have ever tested. I can still smell it the next morning, so 12+ hours!

Euphoria smells great on first spray, and wonderful on me... for about a half an hour. Sadly, it has no staying power on me. For the first half an hour, however, I get the wonderful olfactory experience of a sweet, woody musky floral warmed with the essence of amber. It's nice, but for the price, I want it to last most of the day.

First love for me in regards to fragrances. The only time I've ever stopped someone I did not know to ask them what they were wearing. I bought it the next day. The femininity is not of the light and breezy type, but strong and sexy.

Smells like violets, honestly how in the world could anyone call this 'coca cola'?? lol, seems like the popular term to use, besides I think I may be partial to the smell of coca cola, :) . Once of the best perfumes of all times is often refered to as coke a cola , or a rootbeer float, and that's the beloed 'poison hypnotic' so really, is it such a bad thing? lol

Euphoria is supposed to be strong and dark and in reality it's pathetically watery and thin. I thought at first that I must be sampling a light flanker, but no, it was the original. It reminds me of Si Lolita: just a faint whiff of musty pepper. I want more than this from a perfume.

Euphoria, the name itself says everything- GREAT HAPPINESS! It's quite unique. When I wear it I feel amazing. It's such a beautiful perfume for this time of year, so worm, so sophisticated and sensual. I really love it and it's indeed a seductive smell. It's great, because everytime I wear it, I get lots of compliments. And I love its drydown, it is just extraordinary. Lasting power is amazing too, and the bottle is really cute. I definitely recommend this perfume. :D

I agree that this is quit sexy, mysterious and dark. But all the fruits make it really fun and mood lifting.

I can understand that men would find this sweet and spicy potion attractive but I would not use it to seduce someone. But it`s because I can`t take this scent seriously, it`s just too much fun!

eh, I don't really understand the popularity/appeal of this. I generally don't get along with this house, but this one in particular reaks of a chemical dump on top of a vat of bug spray. Just... yuck. No matter how much I don't like a perfume I can still appreciate the notes I don't like. Not so with this. I just cannot think of a single good thing to say about this.

This is a perfect evening out scent for me. Exotic, dark, mysterious...but still fruity and not too strong. It reminds me a little bit of midnight pomegranate from Bath and bodyworks, but Calvin does it much better :).

I love this scent and people love it on me. Definitely a evening scent, very smoky and woodsy. I wear scents like Lolita and Alien very well so headier perfumes work best on me. This is one that draws compliments from both sexes and I beleive very much that the perfume you smell on someone is not going to smell the way you expect it to for yourself. I once smelled Cliniques Happy on someone and I just wanted to follow them around...so I did lol to ask her what she was wearing and she said Happy so I went down and bought it for myself but sadly it did not have the same appeal or meld quite the same and I just ended up chasing another ghost and have chalked it up to the scent belonging to that stranger. Lucky gal!

I love this perfume, I have 100+ bottles of perfume and this is only second to Chanel Allure Sensuelle. The scent reminds me of Yves Rocher The Night of Neblina, a heavenly luxurious fragrance that had been long discontinued. I finally met something that resembles it. Although Euphoria does't quite match the richness and depth of The Night of Neblina, it has more of a uplifted floral happiness to it. If you loved the Night version of YR Neblina, I highly recommend trying CK Euphoria.

I think i've finally found that elusive signature scent! This is what i've been looking for if only i'd found it oh about say 20 or more bottles of perfume ago I could've saved myself a fortune! what a surprise to come from Calvin Klein as not usually desperately excited about their fragrances. This is excellent lasting power especially when used in conjunction with the body lotion. It's woody and slightly masculine with a hint of red fruit of some sort at the start (perhaps the pomegranate) although I don't know if those above are the official notes? Love, Love Love it! It's just me what more can I say!

I bought it only once and it was the first and the last time. It smells like Old Spice ... It is very masculine fragrance. This perfume is just not for me.

It's a delicious one, but the smell of flower drives me bad.

Sweet, very powerful, creamy, girly yet elegant. I like it, but I'm missing something in this scent, not exactly sure what. It's also slightly old fashioned, I'm 26, maybe I need to wait a decade or so, to be able to truly appreciate Euphoria.

I feel that Euphoria is more woody than floral on my skin although it contains violet, a flower that I am not particularly fond of in perfumes and which I usually find very screamy. Honestly, my nose cant´t pick it up here. Euphoria is a sophisticated, soft and absolutely wonderful fragrance, suitable for any occasion. I don´t find it too strong nor too masculine but maybe there is something wrong with my nose;);) If you find it too strong, try the gorgeous body lotion.

For years I used to see Euphoria on shelves and never bothered to even try it once, until one summer evening we went out clubbig with some friends and I caught a whif of an absolutely mesmerizing scent-I had to ask my friend what she was wearing and she told me it was Euphoria. This is not popular at all in my country , Romania, so it was a very big surprise to me to find such a beauty in Calvin Klein house. I' m not really fond of this house, but Euphoria is splendid and I enjoy it a lot. It is very persistent, with great sillage and longevity.

It is hard to me to describe the appeal of this fume. I usually wear sweet and flowery scents and this not sweet and flowery at all. It gives me the feeling of a modern, independent fragrance for a modern, independent, beautiful woman who is not afraid to show off her beauty, elegance and sexuality.

I have now my own 50 ml bottle and I wear it and I wear it and I wear it, and I can't get enough of it. I receive many compliments wearing this one, which is always very pleasant! I would say it reminds me of Gucci Guilty and also a little bit of Midnight Poison.

Yes, I think this is how the 21st century perfums should smell - very modern, dark and rich and expensive and euphoric and strong! I'm in love, this is all I've been looking for in a perfume!

this one smells exactly... Calvin Klein. If you want something bold, this is not it. Euphoria, forget about it. It is very toned down minimal... I found it a pleasant one, though it does not have much character.

There is one component I can smell about almost all Calvin Klein fragrances and I do not like that, could be their take on violets not sure.

I got this as a gift and I did not like it first. After some months standing there,I've tried it on a rainy,cold day and I fell in love with it. It's a bit sweet,very musky but also warm and makes you feel...cozy...I found out that my sister wears it too but to be honest on her smells very different! I think I like it better on her! LOL!Anyway,it's a nice perfume,perfect for winter!

I had a pomegranate room spray that I used to love and Euphoria smells very much like it except with a bunch of dark musk added in, I like it but my only thought when I sniff my wrist is that room spray!

Long lasting but it is very intense! too strong. I would say it is woody and very masculine and maybe a good option for an evening out clubbing?

I smelled this on my niece and just about fell over when she gave me a hug...horrid! It is way too 'dark' and mysterious of a scent for me to handle. It actually reminded me of body odor or something very dank and unappealing. Not good!

My mum first loved this perfume when she first tried it at Macys.. Later on she didnt like it AT ALL and neither did I or anyone really... it smells alcoholic... I do not recommend this perfume.

Something about this fragrance throws me off and slightly turns me off but overall a decent scent. Maybe it's the pomegranates that throw me off or the bit of masculinity this scent has to me. However,the longer I have this scent, the more it grows on me.

Euphoria has been my signature scent since it came out in 2005. I have gotten tons of compliments, mostly from men. I've tried several other scents but have yet to find one that smells as nice as this one on me..just seems to fit with my chemistry. When I tried to change, my daughter said..Mom you don't smell like you anymore. I guess it will always be Euphoria for me.

Pomegranate smoothened by musk, smells like an exotic fruit at first, then when it settles you can smell the musk coming through the pomegranate.

Its my favourite Calvin klein perfume, it lasts and lasts and lasts allday. I also like the body lotion & shower gel for this one, they smell great alone without the perfume if you want a lighter version of it...

sweet, woody yumminess!!! my husband and i were in the drugstore and picked this baby up! bought the gift set for 31.00!! SO happy to add this to the collection, and to think, he grabbed the box after smelling it on me!!

Sweet, creamy, dark, unique, wooded and oh so masculine. Euphoria is a rather strong and interesting fragrance that I'd like to see the beauty in but I can't get past the masculine edge that is brought forth on my skin! o.O Maybe it's not just my skin but it has the same tone and feel as J'aime La Nuit and I liked that one even less. I'm happy for all the lovers of this one and I'll ascertain that it smells magnificent on you all but it just isn't working for me. Oh well! You win some and lose some. :( Lasting power was moderate for an Edp, about 5hrs on my skin and the sillage was nice.

The dry down of this is somewhat nice, balanced, as other CK fragrances are, but I just can't get past the top notes. It's cloyingly sweet and stays that way for the first hour.... I can't help thinking of grape juice until the top notes finally give way. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the "grape ape" opening reminds me a great deal of Beckham's Signature for women, which has the same effect on me.

I've used this perfume for a year and I've got a lot of compliments but I dont like it myself,its a love/hate perfume,for me it was sooo sweet and annoying and the most noticible note was pomegranate,the dry down was sweet again but its not a food afterall,its a perfume!I dont want to eat it!
Euphoria is the most long lasting perfume I've tried and the silage is perfect but as I said powdery and sweet

Dusty, sweet, dry, dark. For my own taste, the sweetness is just a bit too strong, too much candy, too sticky. Some might find that sexy, but I think after awhile it gets cloying. So much flavor in this perfume, almost mouth watering!

On me the dry down of this is woody, smokey and deep musk and still retains the pomegranate but only as a slight undertone. This is one of the few fragrances that I've worn that I've gotten compliments from both men and women. But, when I tell them what I'm wearing they always tell me it smells different than on others. This one is pretty intensive so I wouldn't blind buy. Test this one first.

I keep testing this out every once in a while, certain that at some point it will smell beautiful on me as it apparently does on others who have reviewed it.

Others describe Euphoria as seductive, dark and mysterious. Indeed, if the ads are any indication, this should be one luscious, velvety, complex perfume.

Unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way for me at all. It's fruity and sweet, mixed in with that typical "cheap cologne" scent that CK scents often seem to have. Nothing dark, woody or bold about it. It's also not an intense scent on me - it actually smells quite watered-down. The result is a boring, watery, plastic-candy scent that closely resembles those "wine gums" candies. Plus some soap in the drydown. The antithesis of dark and seductive. I guess my skin chemistry just doesn't work with this fragrance.

This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time and I've been wearing it since it was first introduced. I prefer it as an evening fragrance and/or for special occasions, but I think this perfume can be worn any time and any season as it is very versatile.

I love the sensuously fruity initial scent as well as the musky drydown and out of all the CK fragrances this is the one I like the best. It's also not overly expensive.

The scent does last a few hours on me but I find I need to respray every so often to keep it fresh. The perfume has great sillage at first, although it does diminish after the first hour or two. It stays stronger for longer if sprayed on clothes or hair as well as skin, or layered with the body lotion.

This is my signature scent and I really adore it as do my friends! This perfume (along with D&G Light Blue) always gets me the most compliments.

I don't know what's wrong with my body chemistry, it just doesn't like this fragrance, I love this perfume so much it smells beautiful in the bottle but on me well I smell like a man. It's so musky that My mom even asked "are u wearing cologne today ", imagine! I have the same problem with Black xs.

Most perfect smell - dark purple fruit with creamy night flowers and sexy musk. It's too strong for everyday, and I wouldn't spray much as it is one of those fragrances that can be overwhelming. It's a special perfume. I like it a lot.

This is one of my blind buy perfume, and I don't regret!! It's kind of dark and purple perfume. I don't know why others tell it's too strong, I don't think so... I imagine woman who wear this is confident, independent (like she doesn't need man :p), without leaving her feminine side (because the drydown is creamy). I love it!! Perfect for winter or night.

This is a very spicy scent, but smells a bit too synthetic for me to fall in love with it. It's still a very nice, warm classic scent.

I almost love the original version of euphoria,it suits me right.I have also received many compliments wearing it.Actually,i think it is a guarantee perfume if you want to make the heads turn around.I only wish it would be even more feminine as i can recognize a slight masculine scent in it when it dries down.Let's hope that the new version "forbidden euphoria" will be as perfect as we want it to be and of course ideal to become our signature!

One of my go-to fall/winter scents. Total man-magnet frag; men go nuts over this! It is dark and kinda masculine, but I love it!

EDIT: I swear, when I put this on, I feel like a total bombshell. Seriously, I can be having one of "those" days, and this scent takes care of it. Such a sexy frag as it's the perfect blend of dark sweetness and masculinity. I get tons of compliments when I wear this, from both men and women, although men seem to be more intrigued by the scent. I usually wear this in the cooler months, but I tried it this summer, and I found it's muskiness to be even sexier with the heat; perfect for hot summer date nights. It's a shame that so many women find this scent too masculine; it's very long-lasting and sensual. If you've tried it before and didn't like it,do give it a second chance. :)

This is a delicious fruity floral (not oriental at all, as it's classified) that is very well-balanced relative to the amount of popular advertising it receives. As a result, it's unfortunately far too common. While it's a nice comfy scent for wearing around the house, it's not sophisticated enough to wear out. I'd just be embarrassed if somebody recognised it.

I get lightly spiced treacly fruity floral. Other people seem to love it and I don't really get what's so marvelous. I'll be honest, I wear this one not for me, but for other people and to be liked. It's a safe bet for compliments.
Just realised what it reminds me of.. Miss Dior Cherie. Another popular frag I don't really understand why so popular. These two quite similar, same kind of sweet jam smell.

OMG!!!! I thought I didn't like this but I LOVE IT!! I smelled it on someone else and I thought it was revolting. I keep reading on Fragrantica how you all love it and find it sexy so I decided to give it another chance. I went to the shop today to get a card strip sample, got talking to the lady who said its her favourite so I asked if she would spray my wrist to check it was good on my skin. Its GREAT on my skin! I've been walking around in a delicious cloud all day. Euphoria, I'm sorry I was mean to you, but I will make it up to you by purchasing a large bottle as soon as I have the money.xxx

I just had to have this...The bottle is uniquely styled. It smells just ok on me... A little strong so I dont wear a lot, Ive used the lotion instead since less potent. I wish that I would have gotten Blossom after smelling my friends Blossom bottle.

This perfume is outstanding!

Feminine, but with a masculine factor in the background. It's strong yet creamy and soft. It's made of contradictions which complete each other to create a homogeneous whole. Just the way I like it. Truly a masterpiece. The only downside is that so many women use it, which makes it very common.

Friend gave me a 50ml bottle of this yesterday.
It starts fresh but after a while the warmth of the skin develops it in to much deeper.
It has a strong masculine aura and the freshness of the beginning fades away very quickly.
I can't stop wondering why this is so popular. I wouldn't have bought this for myself. Now I have all the time in the world to figure that out.
And the scent lasts and lasts and lasts. It stays strong on my wrist, and clothes! I washed my hands three times and it is still there.

Ps. I'm really starting to like this. And not for the evening but for daytime! Not bad, not bad at all.

It evaporates from body, but in magic way it becomes a blow and who likes to be close to you, he or she will notice, that something attracts them to smell you all, to be a little pup and rasp with noses your skin to catch that blow... And after that how can you say that it does not work ??

This is sweet and exotic smelling. Fruity and sweetly spicy, and suitable to be worn any time I would say. I even wore it on a summer holiday for evening and found the exoticness worked well in the heat.

Unfortunately the 60% of the women walking in the street in Turkey are wearing Euphoria. It is really a very nice and strong one but as I said before everybody wears this perfume, it is just like a uniform distributed free by the state. So I don't use this wonderful scent anymore

I bought this when i was in new york for christmas last yr and funnily enough i prefer this one as opposed to the men's scent. i've always liked the sexiness and simplicity of calvin klein's scents. Its true though, Euphoria isn't a complicated scent. It starts off with a floral burst and on me it quickly becomes a bit heavier, like theres a strong woodiness to it..like when you press your nose up against a tree except in the case of Euphoria, that tree would be covered in a vanillay...flowery sort of scent. It lasts all day on me, i find it lasts better on my clothes than it does on my skin. For me the amber and the orchid are always present. Its quite a beautiful scent, definetly worth checking out.

On my skin Euphoria is heady, vanilla, gourmand, sexy scent with a wet, humid-like quality. It adheres close to the skin like a fog. Spillage and longevity reminicent of Angel.

This one stands out of the market. I have a hard time to pick apart the notes, so I'd describe it as a woodsy, spicy and warm. Ideal for fall and winter. It can be a bit overwhelming though so careful not to spray too much. Incredible staying power and sillage, and no surprises: what you smeel at first is what you'll smell in an hour, in five and before going to bed.

This perfume is a very different perfume it stands out very well and the bottle is very different which i very much like this perfume is pretty strong but thats what makes this perfume so good its a very sexy and seductive scent this perfume is more aimed at the younger generation but it is scent that everyone can wear.

The first time I smelled it I loved it, but it was on a carton. When I tried it on my skin I felt it too heavy and a bit overwhealming. Maybe it would be better to give it a chance in winter.

I´ve smell this one today!, I was very expectant about Euphoria, but, I think is not the right perfume for me, I like fresh, floral-fruity, maybe acuatic, soft and relaxed scents, but this is too warm, spicy, and dark for my taste, I still think it´s a great perfume, but for someone else, maybe for someone older. Lasts all day (I apply some in my wrist at morning, a few hours later washed my hands and I still feel the scent).

I smelled this one on my boss one day and I stopped her dead in her tracks and asked her what it was. Being single, the only time I smell this one is when I am at the mall and ask to smell it as if I am actually sampling it for a woman as a gift. This fragrance is for a woman who likes coffee, Merlot or some other dark wine; a woman who is resilient and successful in her career; a woman who is a vixen or perhaps mischievous. I like to wear this with the P.S. I love you body lotion or creme from Bath & Body Works. Actually, that has been my favorite "mixing" lotion as of late! I love the body spray as well. It seems to "tone down" any harsh elements that jump out at you in a strong fragrance such as Euphoria. One thing I don't personally like about this (and it is a petty complaint) is the bottle...It is just clumsy in my hands when trying to spray. :) Or perhaps I am the clumsy one :) Anyway, if you like the smell of dark fruity scents, you may want to give this one a try. There is something in here that reminds me of Midnight Poison Perfume. Does anyone else get that?

I think euphoria is exactly what it is. Reminds me of a field of flowers at the midnight hour surrounded by intoxication. It's deep, rich, and dark.

I love Euphoria!! I understand all the rave. It's spicey and sexy. I want to make out with the bottle. In my opinion Euphoria is the grown-up version of JLo's Glow After Dark.

For some reason this fragrance wears really well on me. Family members who have never noticed perfume on me before will hug me and say, you smell SOOOOO good. I definitely think that it is very well balanced on me- the top note-pomegranate, mixed with champaca flower and a dash of vanilla in the base seems to conjure up a beautiful fragrance. I haven't tried this fragrance during the day, and I kind of want to- but I am afraid I would smell too strong.

This is the only scent that I can ever remember making me feel sick! Sniffing it from the bottle and on paper, I can understand why so many of you love it but when it hit my skin it turned into one hot mess. It was the musk in the base notes I'm sure and I have never had that happen with musk before. The base turned strong and sour. And yes, very masculine and not in a good way. Eau de Jockstrap.

I have over 80 perfumes, and Euphoria is in my top 3. It is a beautiful, truly unique scent. It is floral, sweet, warm, powdery and faintly spicy. It lasts too. Which is a problem I have with many perfumes, due to the fact that my body temp is higher than normal. In my opinion this is the best fragrance to come out in decades.

I envision a woman who's sophisticated and introverted with chestnut brown, long, straight hair and gray eyes eating exotic berries from a beautifully hand-crafted bowl. One problem with this masterpiece is the sillage. Within minutes, the scent is gone! But at the same time, don't go overboard because it can get cloying and headache-inducing.

All the notes come through on this one in the most delightful way. I was surprised just how soft and sweet(but not too sweet) this perfume is.

The edt version of this one is slightly different, more sheerful, but still pretty similar and perfect for summer. So Euphoria for the winter and the etd version for the summer.
I don't like the other versions of this scent (blossom, spring temptation) because they smell nothing like this one.

My father once commented (me wearing this for the first time around him and just freshly sprayd): you smell like cough syrup.

The moment you spray Euphoria, you're met with the ripe, dark fruit note of pomegranate. However, the instant it touches your skin, the fruitiness evaporates, leaving a peppery, almost tannin-like edge--much like biting into the bitter white seed embedded inside the pulpy, ruby flesh. Or perhaps this is from the persimmon.

The next phase, I'm transported to a humid and steamy rainforest, where wild salacious orchids are growing from the trunks of exotic woods and working overtime producing a sweet, milky sap--the scent profusely emanating through the heavy air.

I'm left then, with a rich, woody, vanillaic warmth. Strong, comfortable and enduring (it has great longevity). However, the name and opening gave me such promise for something more rapture enducing but the culmination was rather unremarkable and hardly euphoric at all, making me feel a little ripped off and teased.

I love Euphoria. Starts out with pomegranate, settles into a slightly masculine amber with hints of patchouli. It's very heady and a little goes a long way. I find it's best to be very conservative with this one, but it's perfect for going out on winter nights.

This fragrance is a masterpiece.
It's loud, lovely rich fragrance. It first starts with lots of Pomegranate then it develops into a sweet woody smell that lasts forever. when spraying this in the morning, i can even still smell it at the end of the day and your nose even will notice it all the time. I love it more when it drys down. I spray it on my clothes when i go back home and change my clothes i can still smell it on my skin and on my clothes it can be their for months.
Men also loves this scent. it is easily recognizable.

I "blind bought" this one for my wife and am still very glad that I did :) I can only agree with the positive reviews below.

To my nose it is feminine and very sexy without knocking you over with vanilla. It borders on being edible without crossing the line into the world of cloying, over-sweet candy scents. Actually, NNN hit the nail on the head: wearable and sexy at the same time. Thankfully not over-popular here (Finland), so for me this great fragrance is my wife's only!

The best way to find a brilliant perfume in my opinion is spray it on your clothes, then smell it hours later. If it is still there is it worth buying, if you like it of course. If it has gone, think? is it worth it really. So often now I spemd a lot of money on a new bottle and it just disappears in an instant. Not good.

Headache inducing for me. I can feel it in my throat and it makes me want to gag. Even after I wash it off the smell lingers! I can't get away from it!!

Euphoria is the perfect example that you don't need lots of vanilla and a powdery fragrance to create a sexy perfume.
Yes it's sweet and strong, but there's a freshness, I'm guessing the pomegranate, that makes Euphoria wearable and sexy at the same time.

it is a bit musky which I really like, and a bit sweet like black berry, or maybe it's the pomegranate but to me it smells more like black berries with musk and violets and amber. it is lovely. I wear it more in the winter time, but also in summer I have a crave for euphoria and wear it.
For summer I prefer Euphoria blossom- which is a favorite too. it is just like euhporia but a bit citrusy which makes it perfect for spring and summer.

I love this fragrance, definitely in my top 5 ;-) . When I first spray it in on in the morning, the pomegranate wakes me up with an instant smile! I lasts strongly throughout most of the day with the top notes being lost the first hour, but they drift effortlessly into the middle notes with orchid standing out most. JUST REALIZED THIS MUST BE WHY I LOVE TOM FORD's BLACK ORCHID, I love the way the orchid smells here haha. By the end of the day when I go to work out, I faintly smell the mahogany and amber. Its the best way to end the day :)

A sweet, dark and mysterious scent, I love it so much! I feel confident, sexy and unique. the bottle design is beautiful. The only bad thing about it is the staying power I wish it last longer on me.

edit: i found that if you put a generous amount on (5 sprays) it'll last much longer.

In theory I should really like this, it is recommended all the time based on other perfumes I like but it has a strength and potency to it which gives me a headache even when I spray a small amount. I think that I have figured out that notes such as violet and orchid can tend to be too cloying for me. It is strange, since I normally love powerhouse perfumes - two of my favorites are Poison and Samsara. Maybe its the bitterness that the top notes bring as well that make this too heavy and fruity for me, and overall just too bombastic. I was just thinking I had the same experience with John Galliano's fragrance which has a lot of violet in it. Unfortunately not for me, but I still love my powerhouses!

This is an all time favourite for me, I am totally addicted to the smell, I just can not get enough of it. It is a very sultry scent, sexy and euphoric! I have honestly never received this many compliments on a fragrance that I've worn and my partner can't get enough of it on me. I have purchased this over and over again and I never tire of it. This is an amazing fragrance and I never thought I would be a CK fan.

Its a great TREND SETTER fragrance by ck. For me its a pioneer of introducing a strange camphoraceous notes in female fragrance. It is sweet it is aromatic though it is a bit synthetic yet it is absolutely wonderful and unique.
Excellent silage and longevity with excellent bottle that truly compliments the fragrance. though i don't like its male counterpart very much but intense version of male euphoria is also awesome.
I give it great 8.5 out of 10.

This is probably the sort of thing I would enjoy smelling on a passing person, but not on my skin. It's the sort of fragrance that gives me a headache with sustained contact. Not sure why.

Euphoria, sadly for itself, is another fragrance that majorly suffered because of its popularity.

I must say, I loved it from the first smell, worn it for a year or so, and an still very fond of it. I know how some people love bragging about how popular it is, and how usual, and how boring, and how ...(insert any other negative adjective).

For me, Euphoria is amazingly well composed. I think it was the first, or one of the first fragrances smelling that way, and later on a lot of others followed. Not Euphoria's fault. You wont blame a direcotor of a (good) popular movie for the fact that others copy him. The musky lotus and orchid can be very soft on your skin, but they can also be quite powerful. There is some sweetness in the base, and a touch of wood. And I think, if you do not overdo it (a bit of a good mood is great, but too much of euphoria can turn your entourage into a not-so-happy-one), people around you will love it too.

This is just my opinion ,but it's kind of boring in the sense that I've smelled this scent before in a million other perfumes. It is definitely an oriental, the spice is subtle, and the bottle is very modern, but there is nothing that special about it on my skin. Maybe for others it does something spectacular, unfortunately I'm left wanting.

I like it, but I can't love it.It's too spicy, comercial, popular and kind of common. When I smell it I think of "a life in plastic..it's fantastic!". Sexy, sensual, but not unique, not unforgettable!

On my skin (yes I spray it on me for the test):
Top : The strength of concentrated eau de parfum kicks in. A burst of flowerly scent, but the musky-incense like scent 'wrapping' around the flower scent. A touch of some berry-like scent, blends very well. 5-6 hours mark.

Middle: Burst of incense creeps out, but not over powering, you can still scent the flowery-berry like scent, and....for some reason...there's some woody scent on it, but barely detectable 5-6 hours hours mark.

Base: The scent calms down, the blend of top and middle notes just sit quiet on your skin, but still detectable. 5-6 hours.

A SPECTACULAR FLOWER-BERRY scent, that is drinkable to me. HAHA!

For some reason, I think this is a unisex fragrance, there's something masculine and something feminine in it.

Depending on skin chemistry, some girls...might have the masculine in it. Some guys....might have the feminine in it. Or vice versa.

YOU WON'T BELIEVE the complements I get from wearing this, many said things like 'ow, this is a gentlemen fragrance for sure'; and 'wow, that is a well done masculine flower-berry, a smoky at the same time'

This scent is very versatile. Light application, at it is can be used for work. 3 spray applications, and it will be a function scent. 2 sprays, and you are ready for sexy time. 3 sprays, and you are ready for the clubs.

I would recommend this for any ladies 22+ up.

Ladies, you do not want to go over board with this, its one spray to your 'in-between-your-breast' when you are wearing a low v-neck, and one shot on each of your wrist--> and a quick touch from your wrist to your neck's pulse points.

Or two on each neck pulse points (or 1 on the center of your neck), and one shot on each of your wrist--> and a quick touch from your wrist to knees if you are wearing skirt.

From the top till the dry down, this is....by far.... the BEST Calvin Klein scent that I have ever experienced. CK has a lot of flankers from its original one, that is why its boring, but this one, is a unicorn in the fragrance world.

It can be someone's signature scent for sure.

The country I am in has no 4 seasons, so it is either hot or cold weather. This works very well on both, but be easy on the trigger.

My rating (base on 5 stars)

Scent: 4 (Unique, but I bet many people own this).

Sillage: 5 (Incredible, it leaves a trail for sure, walking up the stairs, and the scent will still linger around the stairs, being in an elevator and guys will feel like making love to you).

Time length: 5 (This is nuts, this one lasted on me almost 24 hours, even after my bath, I can detect the scent when I am under the fan).

Occasion: 4 (It could get cloying in the day, but cold-night or not-so-hot day, bingo, this one is your jack-of-all-trades scent).

Overall base on mathematics: 4.5/5

Wait for another few years when it is not popular, and revisit this, this is a keeper for sure =)

it's strong and really sensual, i'm 18 and i like it but it's not for me so i would recommend it to older people. It's not that smell that you want to feel sweet and careless. it's sophisticated and mature.

The exotic fruits are thick, sweet and heavy. Underneath there is a slight edge. It could be because of the musk or the woods... either way it's what gives this fruity floral drama and makes it far more intoxicating than its peers. It somehow makes me think of a fruity liquor... fantastic date fragrance.

What a sexy scent! Euphoria is beautiful so dark and creamy. Whenever I wear this perfume I get people complimenting me on the smell. Lasting power is exceptional, just wish you could get more juice for your pound, but you get what you pay for worth spending!! My wrist is attatched to my nose soooo intoxicating!!

I purchased this one(at a super ptice) but left it in a friend of a friends car b4 returning home... Naturally the friend of the friend claims they never found it(LIES!!!), so I was very very upset... Anyhow that 10 brief minutes we spent together was complete heaven!!! This is a very sensual fragrance w/ creamy florals, molten woods, and sweet spices, and there is nothing else quite like it... I will re-purchase when I find it at a good enough price...

its a mysterious and dark scent. perfect for colder months. the pomegrante is key and lovely. the darker scents at the base keep it so mysterious and lady-like. its very sexy scent. perfect for days working in the office or a provocative night out with a handsome date.

Very strong and feminine and masculine at the time. You can really smell the orchid and the musky scent is also prominent.

My arm was attached to my nose when I first tested this. It starts out loudly, sweetly, and fruity-florally. When the pomegranite dissipates it turns into this lovely warm delicious and elegant oriental, slightly floral. Nice!

Begins as a heady floral and finishes as a very clean, woodsy scent with subtle florals. Not at all fruity on my skin nor is the amber very prominent. Amazing lasting power and strength of course so be careful applying! Lovely and somewhat less feminine than euphoria edt.

Have the perfume oil and it smells just like the perfume spray and I paid a lot less

I love woody smells, and as long as I use it sparingly, as it is quite heavy, the smells lingers on but doesn´t overpower :)

The openning is strong fruity smell, the mildle is orchid.

My cousin wears this and it is exquisite on her- it has incredible projection and does not smell at all dirty nor like anything occuring in nature! I'm afraid to try it though because it is so ubiquitous right now. It's quite unique but so many are wearing it..

Calvin Klein fragrances are known to be set in a certain "time". If one comes out in a certain decade or year, then it will always remind you of that time or a moment when you wore it. I've had many samples of this one since it's debut... and I think it was on overload. I couldn't appreciate it simply because it was everywhere in stores. Since it's been a few years I went back to it, and have to say I loved it as a cool weather perfume. Exotic warmth..

This perfume is simply gorgeous.It really makes you feel as if sitting in front of a fire place and drinking red whine with your loved one.. It smells so sexy.

The fragrance is a very sweet one as the initial orchid and pomegranate come through very strongly and last a long time. As it ages on the skin it becomes less heady and more delicate, but just as sweet, even luxurious. There is something about it that reminds me of shopping all day in high-end departments stores for handbags and jewellery...

At first spray this perfume is hugely peppery and I was really taken aback considering I thought it would be more flowery/feminine.

I kept it on and kept smelling after a while as it calmed down I finally hit the dry down and it smells pretty good. Its very musky and masculine in my opinion, I think men could easily get away with wearing this! I wouldn't wear it myself, Im much more of a girly girl type : )

It is a lust elixir, it is thick but not nauseatic, it is sweet but not cloying, it is strong but not overpowering, it is sexy without screaming sex.

Even if you're not into floral fruity fragrances (as according to me Euphoria is far from being orinetal floral and closer to fruity group), try it as Euphoria is far from being a plain fruit cocktail.

Interesting fragrance. It starts of sort of sharpish and masculine, but then it's becomes a bit lighter and floral. Quite nice, though I prefer Escape by CK. Euphoria could be nice if I want to smell a bit more mysterious.

Reminds me of a fruity version of Versace Crystal Noir. Has the dark floral notes and amber in common. This is much more tolerable for me because I cannot take the strong boozy nature & plasticky-smelling gardenias in VCN.

The red fruit note in Euphoria is well blended with the oriental notes and is very pleasant, just have to use a light hand until the cool weather comes.

I think most men like this on women because of the flirty combination of dark fruits & amber/musk. I feel that mixture creates a dark & mysterious, dirty kind of sexuality about it that arouses most men. It has good sillage on me. (despite being from CK) It will stay in my "like" category because I cannot wear this in hot or humid weather as the heaviness makes me a little nauseous.

But if you CAN handle this scent on yourself during summertime, do others a favor and don't overspray.

This is a unique scent. You'll know this one from the sea of fruity-floral-foody at one sniff. It's a modern woman's fragrance, verging on the masculine. The strongest note is the almost-metallic black violet--this scent just smells "black". I normally loathe metallic edges, but this one, somehow, works. And Euphoria is strong. You won't need to announce yourself when you come into the room. Still, I'm buying a second bottle, because it's so different from anything else out there.

It is creamy, strong, it definitly makes an appearance, but it's just too dark, heavy, almost masculine. I usually don't mind that, but my head would beg to differ.
I think it's amber that kills all that presumably sexy mood, and makes everything else fade, invisible, actually. So, I can only agree with Zvoncica's review. Very tyring. Too bad.

This will always be one of my favorites! I love it, I love it, I love it.....and so does my boyfriend. He always asks me to wear this one and constantly compliments me on how good I smell. This one lasts and lasts on my skin all day! This will definitely stay in my collection. It is definitely worth the price. "Warning", a little goes a long way with this one. I love this and it has become my signature scent. It is rich without being overflown. The drydown is fantastic and it lasts! I can smell it on my sheets when I go to bed and it's like a hug.

You know this perfume is very popular, its hard not to like, it's sexy and voluptuous , it's flirty , it says ' I am pulling you in to my gravitational pull'. I really feel like this perfume tries too hard , it really wants to impress you. I was drawn in at first but I really don't know anymore.

The true beauty of this perfume is in its drydown.

When I first applied I thought - wow, this is FRUITY! A very rich, luscious tropical fruit mind you but hardly unique. For a few hours it seemed like I could get the same thing from J-LO for half the price. And then came the magic.

The drydown is mysterious, deep, sensuous & a complete suprise.

This perfume is a bit like Christmas in that Christmas Eve is the exciting fruity period where you can anticipate what you might be getting the next morning and then when you open your gifts they are just as awesome as you imagined. And the happiness lasts & lasts & lasts, all through the Xmas pudding.

All in all, worth the money.

I have been searching for a special, intriguing, recognizable, yet nOt headache inducingly strong perfume, and I think I have found it. Euphoria is perfect!
It is a little outside my comfort zone, stronger, more interesting and special than the "safe" perfumes I used before, like Bvlgari Voile du Jasmine, or Versace Bright Crystal, but it is still gentle enough. A truly complex, warm, feminine scent. I can sniff it for hours, and still find something new in it.
My way of coping with the summer heat is to enjoy it, and let my body get used to it. Therefore a warm perfume, like Euphoria suits me during a hot summer.

Euphoria by Calvin Klein, as EDP, it's deep and thick, but never too heavy, a satisfactory combination of fruits and flowers. Rather a warm scent for winter nights which would makes you feel quite protected. It's less sourish than Euphoria Blossom, but more feminie and smells more luxe as well. Worth collecting!

I love this scent. I found a sample in a magazine and I had to buy it straight away. It's sexy and perfect for colder days. At the beginning it seems to be quite heavy but during the day I can smell that creamy accord. Good staying power and nice bottle. Maybe this is my signature scent as I think it really matches my personality.

Apparently, nothing special about them, nobody ever smells what I'm wearing. Christmas 2009, my husband surprises me with a scent. He never has an opportunity to do, because I know what's best for me..;-)
He gave me..Euphoria, which I allready smelled in the shop, and found it to heavy/sweet, as I usually choose the powdery, musky scents.
But now, I had to wear this one. And wow!!! Never had so many compliments on a scent, from men and women as I get from Euphoria! Slightly masculine, this scent, allthough it's sweet. The masculine tone gives a wonderful fresh note to it, and after a while, it becomes more vanilla/patchouli. But allways nice, soft yet fresh. A scent I would never have bought myself, turns out to be a hit.. finished my bottle, but have to get another one, to please everyone surrounding me ;-))

Euphoria is a girl ready to go out at night and party. Maybe at a club or trendy restaraunt or bar. She comes on strong, but settles down nicely.

Deep, dark fruits and woods. Not sweet at all. This is a 'perfumey' perfume. What I mean is that people will ask,"what perfume are you wearing?" instead of, "what is that wonderful smell?"
I smell a very faint patchouli floating around in there, though it's not listed. Incense, maybe? Whatever it is, it flawlessly mixes with the dark fruits.
Euphoria is not romantic at all, but sexy. When you want to demand attention and let your confidence be known.

Several years ago, I was gifted with a bottle of Euphoria. At the time, I had yet to really learn about the importance of letting a perfume unfold on the skin. I have always loved perfume, but until the past couple of years, I often purchased what was "popular" or I would buy a bottle of something based on it's scent straight from the bottle. Oh, my ignorance! After trying Euphoria a couple of times, I scrubbed it off within five minutes, never allowing Euphoria to work it's magic. I hastily gave my bottle of Euphoria to a friend, thinking that it was too sharp, not my taste and a bit unwearable. Later, as I learned all that goes into creating a perfume, I began to understand how to REALLY WEAR perfume. I had a sample of Euphoria and after seeing the notes and reading some reviews, I decided to try it again. It has become a favorite! On my skin, Euphoria opens with sharp, crisp, sour pomegranate and violet. Normally, violet doesn't wear well on me, but the orchid, amber and musk come together to create a softness. All of the notes are beautifully blended and within thirty minutes of application, I am wearing a warm, slightly woody fragrance that has a clean sweetness. Euphoria wears close to my skin, while still having lovely sillage. It is long lasting and just one spray is all that I need for at least six hours. This is a staple in my fragrance wardrobe. When my nose grows tired of my various vanilla-based, fruity florals and sweet orientals, Euphoria is a unique breath of fresh air! In retrospect, I regret giving away my first bottle of this.

Mmm...wearing it right now and it makes me feel very...confident, powerful, in control, irresistible...all that good junk. When I first wore this one day, it didn't really have any effect on me. I just thought "ehh, it smells nice." But all my friends would go crazy and go out of their way just to hug me so they could "take in my heavenly scent" haha. I gotta say, this is quite a head-turner and definitely not for the women who shy away from attention. I give it a 10/10.

This behaves like a floral woody musk on me. At first it is fruity and sweet, and a tad sharp due to the violet note on my skin (which I typically have trouble with). I like the way the pomegranate interacts with the lotus in the heart, but I am glad this phase is temporary, because it's a little too outgoing for me.

My favorite part of the fragrance is the comfortable dry-down. By this point, all sharpness from the violet has gone, and all that is left is a sweet, slightly powdery wood note. It's soft, feminine, and comforting, and the unassuming nature of this fragrance makes it perfect for work.

I also really enjoy the fact that even though I can smell it on myself, it doesn't seem to leave a trail behind me.

I can see myself reaching for this one a lot in the future. It's an easy fragrance to wear.

Dark, a little spicy, berry sweet (but not too sweet) and sexy with a creamy amber, incense drydown. This smells great on my skin and is long lasting. The colors of the ad are perfect, this is definitely a purple and amber scent, That said, there seem to be many scents similar to this out there – I think its success has spawned imitators. I find it similar to Kat Von D Sinner, BBW Black Amethyst and Paco Rabonne Black XS for Her with maybe a little of Alien's woodsiness thrown in. This was released earlier than the others and IMO is the best of the bunch.

Euphoria is a funny fragrance for me. Sometimes I really like it, other times I think it smells like an artificial mess, so I don't reach for it often. But, I always get complimented when I do wear it, so others seem to enjoy it. I'm glad I gave it a whirl, but I won't buy another bottle when mine runs out.

Euphoria smells sweet plus some "smoke" note, artificial, like "plastic" , and pretty "cheap"...
It has nothing special or extraordinary to it ! Nothing feminine and nice..just a sweet plastic smell...Pass....

I really do love this one though I don't reach for it often. It's dark, strong, spicy and sexy. I haven't smelled the male version but think this would work as a unisex fragrance.

This is another fragrance that smells divine on my friend (she also wears Black XS). Too scared to try it myself as we do not seem to have the same body chemistry at all and I don't want to ruin it :-) Strange how I like orientals on other people but can't bear to wear it myself.

it can be love or hate. i do have my 30 ml but i am not wearing it often: its not even to sweet , but all spices makes it masculine, also i am not a fruity lover and Euphoria smells like mixed berry( vine?!)juice with spces. can give a headache when put on to much.

I am absolutely, positively in love with this perfume. I bought a lot of sample vials on ebay, along with a few other perfumes, and this one is hands down my favorite. I wanted to test out all my perfumes, but I couldn't all at once, so I put this one on after I took my shower last night and before I went to bed. I couldn't stop smelling my arm!!! And in the morning... 10 hours later... it had faded BEAUTIFULLY into this warm, round, and slightly dark/sweet aroma, but still clearly on me. I adore this perfume. I am for sure getting the big bottle.

The top notes of this perfume can be sharp at first, but after 20-30 minutes Euphoria turns into a sensational creamy amber that is oh-so-sexy! On my skin is not very strong, which is what i like about this perfume. it doesn't scream "HELLO IM HERE!!" The bottle is gorgeous, simple yet unforgettable.

Euphoria is a nightmare perfume. Tyring, depressive and dull. I find no explanation why gorgeous, cheerful ladies whish to wrap themselves in plastic coat, heavy burden and one note playing record launched as Euphoria. The name bothers me the most. The state of exaggerated wellbeing labeled on thick, grungy liquid. I find it not appealing, not sensual, not feminine, not well defined. Most beautiful thing I can say is, maybe I am wrong.

Last minute confession:
I washed my wrists before going to bed. Euforia bloomed, luminated the room, kissed my cheeks with it vividness and crisp. We slept in each others arms all through the night. Seems that water deliberated Euphoria`s soul.

I've been married to the same man for 18 years, and tried many different fragrances. Euphoria is the only one that he has ever complimented me on. In fact, he said the fragrance gets him soooo hot!
He's one of those men who never notices the new haircut or new outfit, so even a mention says a lot for Euphoria.

Calvin Klein EUPHORIA is vaguely redolent of OBSESSION--and a few other frags--but still manages to carve out a distinctive node in the olfactory Ur-sphere, as is always the case, in my experience, with CK creations. The price, as always, to be paid for CK's brand of ready identifiability is...total lack of subtlety!

The spiciness of EUPHORIA cannot be explained by the above listed notes, but these ones (from basenotes) help to elucidate the mystery:

Top Notes: Pomegranate, Persimmon, "Lush Green Accord"

Middle Notes: Lotus Blossom, Champaca Flower, Black Orchid

Base Notes: Liquid Amber, Black Violet, Cream Accord, Mahogany Wood

This is a very masculine "feminine" fragrance, with a dark and heavy almost nutmeg-like spiciness, due in large part, I believe, to the champaca, which is very strong and easily overwhelms. Is it the wood and the bergamot that make this seem so masculine to me?

Perhaps. EUPHORIA is a somewhat curious creation: too aggressive to be a feminine scent, but a bit too flowery to be a masculine scent. Neither nor, I'd say. And unexpectedly loud for a twenty-first-century perfume, even for Calvin Klein, the king of the tatoo-frag!

this is a great perfume. very feminine, fruity and not too sweet.
on me however, it smells sour, but on a woman with the right chemistry it smells wonderful.

Euphoria smells dark, sensual and compelling. The pomegranate is an amazing note as it reminds me of the Greek story of Persephone and Hades.

The floral notes, especially violet, brings forth a warm shower of petals masked with velvety woods, white musk and amber.

The bottle is an interesting shape and color. The scent itself is euphoric and left me wanting more and more.

I simply adore this perfume, it is another wonderful creation from Calvin Klein. It really smells heavenly, I personally dont find it dark or too bold at all.

The pomegranate gives it that tangy feel, it is sweet, it is floral, really really smooth and creamy.

Inital spray on me is strong, I only need one spray on my wrists and neck area, and that's it. I imagine if you overdo it, it would be sharp at the beginning. On me it lasts and lasts. It`s 5pm and I applied it at 9am, and it is still there...enveloping me with its beautiful aroma. Wonderful sillage too.

I have only had this one for two days, and I have received several good comments from people.

It gets compliments from many people, lasts forever, smells great, beautiful bottle....this is hands down, a winner with me.

It is a deep and rather dark perfume. The silage and lasting power are extraordinary; in fact, it’s not easy to remove it from the skin; definitely not a fragrance for a hot summer day. Far to sweet and that’s some kind of syrupy sweetness. Few people asked me if I wearing men fragrance… :)

I love original euphoria one. It smells awesome and fabulous every time i use. It like euphoria comes from heaven.

I admire its fruity beginning! Euphoria is so charming and chic! Easily to feel in love with it.

I love the notes in this one, but it doesn't work on me. bright, dusty flowers and nice green apple dry down to a truly unpleasant sharp powdery floral that I really had to wash off. Pity, because the notes sound so interesting. I guess sometimes interesting isn't what I'm looking for.

This is a great perfume and I think this will be in my wardrobe for a long time to come. It gets better on as the day goes by and I have have not yet had to re-apply. I would say its not as strong as Dior Addict or Angel, both perfumes which I love.Great scent for day or night.

A friend of mine wore this perfume. For me it's too strong and suffocates. It has shopisticated package, but awful smell. Not a masterpiece of Calvin Klein.

Even the fact that Euphoria is being worn by everybody out there, doesn't stop me from loving it as much as I do. Dark, sexy and smoky - love it!

P.S. If you like Euphoria, try Amor Amor Tentation, very similar, a lot cheaper. (Donna Karan Delicious Night has the same vibe as well)

I don't like this at all. For me it's too strong, maybe that's why I don't like it..my friend has it and she's just dying of this perfume, and she wears it every day...but for me, sorry :)(I'm too sensitive, weak maybe to wear it:))

this fragrance is very unique and sensual when i first sprayed this on my wrist when i was at my aunts house i fell in love with it i would get whiffs of it through out the day even when i walked in to her room where i first sprayed it i would smell i love how the muskyness in it stayed very noticeable the next day later after taking a shower i still smelled it WOW

As for me, i don't like it at all. My friend do love it and i had to put up with her wearing this scent. But, actually, it's very strong. Can hardly be called CK-esque. Too vulgar for the day, too provocative for the evening.

And i add a man could easily wear this.cause its enough strong and sexy for a man.like the one million that they say had a èminine touch.this one could work for a man.

I'm usually not a fan of orientals, but I had to have Euphoria. This is a very seductive, sexy scent. Like another poster mentioned, I think I smell patchouli in this.

I am pleased with this scent, but just today a coworker thought I had sprayed disinfectant in the restroom and it turned out she was smelling my Euphoria!
It's not my husband's favorite on me either.

Nevertheless, it will get in the regular rotation.

Love it.!love the sweet note of pomegranite in it!its new in a smell.it.s a sweet oriental for days that you want to project less but still want a good smell.

As for me I even don't have any doubts that I feel mostly the pomegranate note in this fragrance. I ate a pomegranate just yesterday, so I remember well how it smells. I also feel the similar pomegranate note in Purplelips by Salvador Dali, for example. It smells sour enough, too.
Of course, the other notes are also noticeable in Euphoria. The violet note, the black orchid note and the mahogany note really make this fragrance more dark and mysterious.
And I don't think that this fragrance smells masculine. But this fragrance really reminds me a pomegranate wine scent, that is why I can't wear it.
Also I can say that this fragrance has a good lasting power. Only this fragrance seems to me a little bit simple, because it doesn't play on my skin. But anyway I think that it is one of the best fragrances by Calvin Klein.

I do not like it. I love men's Euphoria on my husband, but women's perfume is too rotten fruity and masculine. Had a sample, and gave it to my mom who also did not like it. I guess it is not for us.

Banality made perfume. If you don't know how to make a perfume just throw everything you have in the cauldron.
Sorry to all wearers, I know this is quite beloved and successful, but I find it so annoying and boring. It is after all a matter of tastes. Nothing can work for just anyone. I was shocked to now that Dominique Ropion worked at this, but then I noticed that I really love some of his works and totally dislike others!Euphoria is on the dislike side, it doesn't work with my chemistry and above all with my nose. It is very strong, masculine, spicy on the heavy side with "cold" spices, very artificial, it smells so chemical and harsh. There is absolutely no creaminess in this one, not even as a mistake. It smells like a soldier. I've noticed that many new perfumes smell like this: it seems that they are like aggressive men disguised in female fashionable clothes.
This is my experience with testing this one a few times and also own a few samples. SAs kept throwing samples to me for a while and I gave them to an aunt I rarely visit. According to listed notes it should smell delicious! Then when sprayed it burdens my head down. It happens to me with many CK and new Gucci's scents. As long as many people enjoy wearing it, I wonder if they use any strange chemical smell that can have positive effects on some and negative on others. I think it's very expensive for the quality you get. The bottle is nice and elegant, a little bit too seen now.

I got this fragrance for Christmas and when I saw the box I was afraid, because CK is not my style and have used many of the frgrances and not one of them was impressive.
The top notes initially put me off but the middle and base notes are so much better I was impressed by the dry down......warm, spicy, sexy with subtlety!!!!!!!

I wear this one cause I just wanna get rid of it as sonn as possible and because at the moment is freezing cold in the UK and can't feel it that much so I can abuse it a bit more. For me this fragrance is cheap and artificial. Lasts forever and has no originality. As someone said in a previous review, this one has too much of everything. Headachey and heavy. So, I use this one for work and shoping, but at night or special moments I stick to real perfume makers, such as Aqua di Parma or Serge Lutens'. C. Klein never even made a proper perfume just good adverts.

One of the few scents I haven't grown tired of. I love the exotic floral.

Euphoria catches attention. It is quite strong but not overpowering and I just love its top note which makes it stand out! It has something fruity and mounthwatering about it, yet it has its strenght and deepness.
I think it is an evening perfume as something about it makes it special. Men love it too.
As many have mentioned I think it is good for nightclubs - I dont know why but it just has this feel! And yes it is very popular as it is a likeable perfume. Distinct but most will like it.

This is probably one of the best loved frangrances of all time!!!! I'll bet if there was a straw poll done on this it would win by a landslide. I don't have to even go into detail of the beautiful scent that it gives off! Thousands upon thousands of women love this scent so why should I be any different?

As a Mediterranean woman, I like my perfumes like my drinks, strong and lasting and intoxicating... Just a simple fresh smell does not mean perfume for me,, Euphoria is the sort of the perfume that feels cozy on your skin and men just love it!!!(I asked my ex to smell on me three perfumes and pick one,, first was Euphoria, second Chanel 5 and on the third, Issey Miyake -l'eau de Issey- he thought i was joking, that much he hated it!!!

This is my second review of this product, as i'd like to add a few things:

I first came across this when i received a sample from a department store SA back in 2005. A little later, i purchased it.

I was never a fan of CK fragrances but this one immediately caught my attention and i was showered with compliments (mainly from men) during the first few times that i wore it.

Also, back then, not too many people knew of this frag and it seemed to stand out more (within the circles of people that i normally hang out).

Since its launch, it seems as though every now and then, i come across some frag that's trying to "emulate" that feel/sensation/smell that this perfume gives out. I'm talking about the likes of Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci, Sinner by Kat Von D, etc. At least on my skin that's how they turn out to be.

With all of that being said, i still enjoy this perfume very much, but try to hold off from wearing it a lot because it's still quite popular here and almost everyone either has it or wants to own it...

I can also see why some got bored with it. It's got a really nice, JUICY aroma but not a spectacular one. It's THE sexy perfume for going out to clubs, and... i think that's about it.

I have had mixed feelings about this perfume for a long time but have recently decided I like it. I have never been a huge fan of Calvin Klein perfumes, finding them too masculine and cheaply made. The first time I sprayed this on a paper strip I thought, "Good lord! That is a strong smell!" But for some reason I kept smelling it, and smelling it, I could not stop! Don't know what ingredient they put in this to give it that addictive trait, but it is somehow Euphoric! I do think they picked the perfect name for this perfume. I really can't distinguish any individual notes in it and I always get confused by orchid notes, because I have never smelled an orchid flower that actually had any kind of scent. I am normally a fruity-gourmand type of girl, this is not a perfume that I should like, but I do. It's also refreshing to have found a CK perfume I actually like!

This is a very exciting and nice fragrance. Usually I like my fragrances lighter and by first sniff I turned this fragrance down.

Anyhow I had tested it on my wrist before entering a meeting and after a while I noticed a beautiful, sensual somehow mysterious and untouchable scent lingering to my nose every now and then and I thought it was exactly euphoric. It took me a while to realise it was actually me and the fragrance I tested earlier.

I had to go buy this fragrance immediately. I still do find EDP a bit too strong for me, so I ended up buying EDT which suits me perfectly.

Its a very nice oriental fragrances .when I wore it it was bit too strong but later on it got balanced and smelled perfectly sweet and sexy .I like for daily use in day time .I would give it 5 out of 10 .

This one is Horrible. Stinks like a cheap, very cheap soap. I always wondered why my friend has this weird soapy smell, and at some point i saw her putting on this perfume. So weird...

when I first got this perfume, I couldn't get enough, I was in love with it. used 3/4 of the bottle then it started to smell funky, so i gave it to my mom. She loved it for a month, then couldn't care less about it. I think its just a wonderful scent u can easily get fed up with. So I recommend buying a smaller bottle.

I just love it.i'm a fan of oriental fragrances and i tried many but this one is just like me.it suits me perfectly....what surprised me is that from the first day i put it on me many friends noticed the difference and told me that is exactly like me: always euphoric!

I love this one. I think it remiinds me of Angel that I love, but don`t wear it cause I overdosed on it about 10 years ago.Euphoria is more sour (pomegranate?), the opening instead of being the heady Angel-ic is fruity and juicy, with a good deal of smoke and insence.
And - does anyone know - is there patchouli in here? I swear I can smell patchouli!!!!!!!

It's funny to me and a testament,I suppose to different personal chemistries and memory associations; But some think this is a strong, overwhelming fragrance that lasts forever while others say it is so soft and feminine and fades away to nothing. I myself liked the samples in my magazines years ago but just felt it somehow wasn't deep enough. I liked everything about it, being drawn normally to orientals, amber, musk, and woods. But nothing about HELD my interest. I was so frustrated because it was almost perfectly my type of scent, just too soft and sweet perhaps? Then to blow me away last week my guy came into the bedroom and I just wanted to tear him to pieces. I asked what he was wearing and he had sneaked a spritz from his buddies mom's bathoom stash of euphoria. Yes--a guy! And I have to say it smelled ten times better on him than on me. And not overly feminine, just layered and delicious, sweet and sour, and ambery. He was tempted to try it because a week before we had gone to the men's counter to try some stuff out. We had liked the men's euphoria but I kept feeling it wasn't quite right...on the other hand I loved the men's true religion, not for him but for me!
Again, not everyone likes coconut, or pineapple, or chocolate, even--but how could they not you ask? Well, we are all so different, so much so apparently that absolutely nothing is a given!
I am a rosy skinned tall blond who smells gross in florals and fruits, but great in woods and musks, while my guy who is tall, dark and classicly handsome smells best in "girly" fragrances.
Try anything and be limited by nothing and you'll develop a unique but well suited personal style and people will feel there is just something about you they can't put their finger on.

Damn. I've decided that I love this one but I simply can't have it near me as I find something in it literally toxic. It attacks my airways and burns my nose, something that no other perfume has ever done and I've smelled and worn a LOT. Such a shame because I love catching a whiff of it off other people, it is a unique smell, sort of fresh but not in a floral or citrus way, retro but not naff. Sorry CK but I'm hoping you have a look at your ingredients and tweak the formula of this one!

Wow I actually really like this perfume, I am not big on CK but this is just sexy and yummy and long lasting! YUMMY! Great for a night out in a smokey club! I can imagine getting a lot of compliments wearing this from the opposite sex! Who could resist.... Not me. Hahaha

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It's one of those really luxurious and sexy fragrances that you'd want to wear to a special occasion, especially a big night out on the town. Very sultry and feminine. It seems to exude a good dosage of youth despite its overall mature outlook. Ultra hot! I prefer this over the following versions (Blossom, Crystal, Crystalline, etc). It's also very long lasting which is perfect for a night full of dancing activity.

I never get compliments from people on this perfume. Maybe a few people have asked me what it is. I use to think it was great when I had the little sample of it, my boyfriend bought me a huge bottle, but now I'm soooo bored with it. Doesn't smell bad, it's okay - just not exciting - not for me!

It is daring scent! It makes you feel sexy and makes others think that there is sometihng sexy about you :) But never in a cheap way! It is also an intelligent perfume... There is something in it that helps me concentrating. I love to wear it for business meetings if I need to recollect my self-trust. And I love to wear it when I want to have a dazzling night :)

This scent just (ha, for lack of a better word) oozes confidence, but in a very inviting, sexy way. I love it. Definitely something to try before you buy, because it doesn't work on everybody, but on me I love the dark, sweet florals and the cream accords that accompany the woods. Perhaps a nighttime fragrance, but I wear it during the day when the weather is cooler.

When I first smelt this perfume on my skin, I had to get it because it was to me the perfect scent: creamy, deliciously sour-sweet, mysterious & very long-lasting. The smell reminds me of purple berries, cream, vanilla & something slightly sour with a heavy veil of of purple incense smoke encompassing it all. This combination gives it an entrancing effect that I love in perfumes. It is also very, very long lasting; you smell it the next day and and I think it stays for as long as you don't wash :)

However, that being said, I think my tastes in perfume have changed. I haven't worn Euphoria in a while but when I wore it recently, I think that it's still a good scent but there's something about it I don't find appealing now. It's maybe because it's sweetly creamy, smokey & yet anticipating something - something like a good musky or dark heavy woodsy-smokey finnish. Instead, you are stuck with an adolescent girly purple-berry creaminess with some smoke. It's uniqueness has been overshadowed for me by the fact that Euphoria has no depth; it leaves you desiring more.

I would love to try a scent that smells as creamy-sweet & sour smokey as Euphoria but has a bit more mature; let's say a heavier, more woody/earthy dry-down than a vanilla berry cookie left-over.

this perfume can smell ok on some and VERY bad on others. it is a VERY deep and almost masculine scent. not my taste.. but a lot of people love it.

Only - the bottle... I don't get it.
Isn't the cap just ridiculous? I just cannot tell what they were thinking when creating such a squared hewn looking cap sticking from the smooth, organic shaped bottle. It doesn't make any sense, does it?

Upon first spray on my skin, I got a ton of apple combined with a sour note; so at first, this *sort of* resembled
Signature Beckham for Her. But then, after about 5-10 minutes, that apple note dies down alittle so it's not so pungent, and *somehow* becomes a slightly marshmallow concoction w/ a sour note, turning it into something around the lines of Mariah Careys 'M', mixed with a sweet'n sour note. I have no idea what's in there that's making that marshmallow smell, but I DO smell it. I was never very fond of 'M', but now that I have this, I have a new appreciation for it. This is quite a sexy fragrance, and something that can most definitely be worn for evening.. Definitely one of my new favorites.

I came across Euphoria, when some girl wore it and it smelled just wonderful on her! Then I tried it, liked it, bought it... And now - I don't know, it seems to me it's common, ordinary floral scent. I hardly recognize it on my skin. Maybe it is just the problem of my pH :-(

Smells good and all but it is a light weak scent with no staying power at all.I returned this because I am tired of scents that don't last.

It's a strange combination of Angel-like beggining and spicy-woody base. This smell is dark but not too much diffusion, very sophisicated and alluring. I prefer exatli this perfum among the line of Angel's clones.

This stuff is soooooooo freaking awesome! I got a little sample over 3 years ago and then recently i smelled it and fell in love! i seriously cant stop sniffing it every few minutes! But the thing that disappoints me is that it changed with my skin and turns into a sugar cookie kind of scent :( its still yummy but it isn't as good as it is from the bottle. It is a very strong, seductive smell that is mature without smelling old ladyish. I highly recommend and hope it doesn't change on you.

I tried and wore so many fragrances but Euphoria is by far my favorite one, I like its orienntal and flower notes. I feel the sexiest woman when I wear it. And all men share this opinion.

I absolutely love euphoria!! It's my everyday perfume. It is a mysterious and sophisticated scent, especially great for night. I've received many compliments while wearing it. I have to give props to my brother! ;) He gave euphoria to me as a birthday gift, about two years ago and I've loved it ever since.

Just bought it and love it...the dry down reminds me a lot of hypnose from Lancome, did anyone notice that too?

This is going to be a lengthy review so I'll just start by saying that I adore this perfume. Next, I'll say that if you've only ever smelled Euphoria on a test strip, you absolutely MUST try it on your skin, instead. I'm not sure why, but this one smells completely different on my skin than it does on paper!

I usually don't consider Calvin Klein perfumes to be anything special, mostly because they are ridiculously popular and, it seems, more advertised than any other department-store brand out there. I did fall in love with Obsession several years ago and went through several large bottles before realizing that it was lacking something and wasn't quite perfect for me. Having said that, Calvin Klein knows how to produce a great scent for a young person who wants to smell good but doesn't want to pay a fortune in the process. His perfumes last. And last. And last. And when you wake up the next morning, they're still there, haunting you, so it's a good thing that some of them are so enjoyable, such as Euphoria.

I tested Euphoria soon after it was released and was turned off by both the test strip and the strange bottle. Three or four years passed and I decided to revisit it, based on so many positive reviews, this time on my skin, and, Oh My! It's much sexier and so much more original than I remembered.

The top notes are dark and fruity; they remind me of Bath & Body Works' Midnight Pomegranate Body Spray. There's also a smoky, creamy vibe lingering beneath all of that luscious, grown-up fruit. My ex-husband's grandfather was a Swiss chef and he once made me a dessert that consisted of nothing more than fresh red and blue berries drizzled with rich vanilla cream. It was divine and this perfume reminds me very much of the simplicity and richness of that treat.

Don't lose interest if you're not a gourmand lover, however. There's more to Euphoria than berries and cream. There are floral notes that are so well-blended that they become a part of the dessert, expanding it and making it slightly less edible. I can't identify them, but you will smell hints of flowers which are deep and rich and that add just the right amount of abstraction.

The woody base of Euphoria is light and adds a lot of depth and mystery, but it's strong enough to keep the whole thing mature. It never really gives the floor to the red fruits, or cream, or florals. They all dance together perfectly and share the spotlight with one another, making sure no one steals the show after pomegranate announces the whole affair. It reminds me slightly of Alien, though it's more of a crowd-pleaser. It's also similar, in structure, to Flowerbomb, but heavier and darker.

It's as though Thierry Mugler's Angel, in all of her nineties garb, got a make-over and came out a new woman; updated and sophisticated and more sleek, while still maintaining that unique vibe that set her apart from the others of her time. Like the woman who wears Angel, the woman who wears Euphoria knows what she likes and she'll never apologize for treating herself to a scent that makes her happy, like it or not. But do go easy on this one; Mr. Klein made sure that a little bit of his perfume goes a long, long way.

Wow! This is a spicy, smoky, gorgeous perfume. At christmas I told everyone I knew that I had to have a bottle of it.My sister in law got it for me. I love how bold it is, and to me it has a peppery scent. If I want to be noticed this is the perfume I reach for. I always get a reaction.

Euphoria is very unique, which is what I liked about it! After a day of smelling dozens of perfumes to give to my sister for her birthday, I finally landed on Euphoria and it was perfect! It's a strong and confident smell, but still girly. To me, Euphoria is a scent that says, "I'm not trying hard to smell good, I just do."

This by far is my favorite of all fragrances. The opening is a bit strong, but the dry down is amazing. It may be a bit too strong for some, but it smells amazing on my skin. The black violet, pomegranate, black orchid, mahogany wood, persimmon, and lotus blossom make this perfume a garden of yumminess. I always get compliments while wearing this. It's definitely my signature scent. This perfume is for the bold, confident and sexy and should be worn on special occasions and sultry nights. I was seduced by this fragrance upon my initial smell of it. It's so scintillating and seductive. I feel absolutely sexy when ever I wear it. It has that WOW factor and the staying power. What more can I say? It's sexiness in a bottle. Enough said!

I like this one. When I tried it at the counter it didn't seem too strong for me, so it's strength isn't a problem. It actually smelled kind of sexy IMHO. However, I told my mother-in-law that I wanted it....and WHAT A SURPRISE. She asked her husband to buy it for HER! = Well, my husband and I agreed that I wouldn't wear anything that she wore because he doesn't like the ones she wears. I think it's because she douses herself with it and so her perfume usually comes off really strong. But I would recommend that people try it. It's really quite nice. I get the floral, but it's not overly flowery (which I detest).

Ladies, get the biggest bottle you can afford because this fragrance is addictive!! Popular perfumes never really appeal to me because for one thing I don't want to smell like what everyone else is wearing at the moment, but it seems Euphoria is the exception. It's such a dreamy, romantic scent and to me just perfection in a bottle... Euphoria is also very sexy, feminine, and modern yet quite subtle and doesn't get overwhelming or "aggressive".

I really like the pomegranate, lotus, and orchid notes that this one has. And the design of the perfume bottle -- so modern and sleek! You can tell Euphoria is a huge hit for Calvin Klein as they have come out with so many editions of it: Euphoria Blossom, Crystal, Luminous Lustre, Spring Temptation, etc.

I'm running out of the bottle I have right now, better get some more to stock up lol I hope Euphoria will never be discontinued because I love it so much! "Live the dream". ;-)

Verdaderamente, este perfume me ha enamorado. Su fragancia es dulce, calida y mistariosa. Pero no es pesada y perdura 4 o 5 hs aprox. en mi piel. Realmente vale la pena.

When i saw the ad i wanted to try it immediately. I was a bit disappointed - it isn't what i expected. I like the scent but i have the feeling that something is missing in it. It's fruity sweet, warm, a bit oriental and strong.

when I wore it for the first time, I didn't like it. I was sick of it. I didn't want to wear it again. (I don't know why)
But I used it another time. and I liked it so much. Now it's one of my favorite.

So I suggest to try it out not once, but TWICE. (wink) you will love it.

ever since this perfume appeared, i wanted to have it in my collection. last year i've received it as a present from my dad (one of 100 ml) and i can say it's one of my favourite perfumes. very strong and lost lasting. i recommend it for special ocasions, not casual (nor office) and in cold seasons. i don't see how anyone could use this in summer...if you want to be seductive, you can't go wrong with euphoria.

I am not a big fan of Calvin Klein and I resisted about Euphoria as well because it was very synthetic on my skin.

But giving it one more chance, this warm, balanced sweet fragrance that simulates wine notes somehow is very interesting.

It isn't original at all... Black XS, Flowerbomb and others have the same personality.

I ended up having a bottle of Euphoria in my wardrobe for a very simple reason: it is very shimmering and optimistc. Very sweet and warm. It is a perfume that says it all in those days when you don't have what to say by youself. It is a happy and playful fragrance, very sexy.

I like to wear Euphoria when I have any event I am not excatly in the mood to go. Euphoria is my mood make up. It might not go excatly with my feelings, but simulates a classy and positive actitude even all I want is to be home wearing my pijamas. Euphoria makes a photoshop of that image. It is not a perfume that makes your mood change like LIght Blue, for example, but it is a perfect make up.

Despites, it is a very well done fragrance and men love it. You can't go wrong with it if you want to seduce.

Sweet, sexy and still distinguished.

I received a sample vial of this while purchasing a perfume for my sister and I sighed happily when I sprayed my wrist with it.

I don't really get loud and bold. Dreamy, sophisticated and seductive, yes! I adore the orchid in this. Even my mom went back for a second sniff. I really will have to purchase this, I think.

Unusual perfume,I can't detect the notes with my nose, they are quite united. The bad thing is that it doesn't suit my chemistry at all..Smells rather synthetic on me.

On the contrary I have a classmate that wears this every day . It suits her a lot and smells somewhat balsamic and sweet on her. But it's innapropriate for mornings, since it's very loud and dark. In my opinion it's for evening wear only.

Euphoria for women is fantastic! It's incredibly sexy and long lasting. It was exactly what I was looking for; a winter scent that is not too young nor too old.

This fragrance has a somewhat sweet yet strong and spicy feel to it. If smelt up-close it can be extremely overwhelming although from a distance the scent is soft, sweet and warm.

I'm not really a fan of the fruity top notes, however I really love the heart of Euphoria. I agree with other reviewers that felt that this fragrance was slightly masculine. I think this is because of the woodsy notes in the drydown.

I would sum-up this scent as being quite edgy, mysterious and modern. It's definitely something you should try before you buy, because this may not appeal to everyone.

While Euphoria doesn't smell bad AT ALL, to me it is just way too much. Everything about it is strong- it is SO sweet and also SO woodsy- the two are just so overbearing. I could have sworn that it had a lot of patchouli in it, but I guess I was smelling the mahogany? If Euphoria was toned down, it would be so much better- there is just too much going on for me. Also, because this is super woodsy and also sweet at the same time, my allergies started acting up. I could also see how this could be headache inducing. Def. try and wear before you buy. Gorgeous bottle and ads though!

Quite lovely, a bit sharp in the bite at first. Softens later on the skin. Rich, still has a twang, sort of up and go without being green, but not for everyday, especially not with a sore throat.

I like this one is a strong but very nice perfume,is not for very young ladies because is strong and mature(a little bit masculine) but really really nice. i love it. :)

i really love this smell although i dont think its as strong as some people say it to be... i spray it on my clothes as it seems to last longer on them... my boyfriend loves it.. i love it.. its all good:)

The first day I tried this I got whiffs of it all day and had to go back to buy. I made a wise decision. It is beautiful and, on my skin, dries down to a sweet, subdued musk with some flower.. smells like vanilla, but it doesn't seem to have vanilla, so I'm not sure what it is.

I get many compliments on it when I wear it, from both men and women, but the scent only lasts for about 2 hours on me. :-/

I read all these reviews that it is a strong scent. Well, I sprayed it to my wrist and it was somehow tuned down smell (you know like volume)though it's long lasting. It's very nice, reminded me of Dior Addict. I love it. I'll have to try it again.
Now tried it again (and sprayed more) and it is absolutely Euphoria! As I'm very familiar with this emotion I for sure want this scent. Very sexy one! I feel I will have to buy big bottle, because I'll use this a lot. (And it's kinda expensive)

Strong one, this one! On me it opens fruity with berries, then very quickly moves on to a soft, barely noticable vanilla and strong patchouli. It's very loud at this point and it stays like this for several hours. When it finally dries down it leaves a nice, woodsy scent.
Euphoria is a great scent and it will definitely get you noticed. Just be sure not to use too much or you'll regret it!
Very longlasting.

Men go crazy about this scent and it's not difficult to guess why - it is creamy and thick and declicious. It is bold and seductive and at the same time also very feminine and sophisticated.

For the first time today i tried this fragrance, i realy wanted to love Euphoria just by reading all these wonderful reviews, but it's tooo strong and realy masculine for me. What is that strong scent ( Mahogany, violet ), please a would like to know :)

Very long lasting and spicy. I'm not heavily into oriental scents so I'm not thrilled with it. Rather masculine in my opinion, and I can't see how anyone could find it sweet or creamy.

I love this one, it is longing and sensual, but friendly too.

It's weird - the very first time I tried this scent, I didn't think I liked it. However, the next day I tried it again so my husband could sniff it, and I liked it much better - and so did he! It has such a strong woodsy scent to it, and the amber dry-down is long and lingering. It's just lovely. I bought a big bottle for myself for my birthday this summer (after having a sample tester and a mini), so now I have 3 sizes - I can take a smaller one to work or wherever with me, if I want, for touch-ups! I've already used probably a third of the bottle in just 5 months ... I love this stuff!

I'm an optician, and my Calvin Klein sales rep wears this scent all the time. She smells wonderfully yummy!!!

This is one gorgeous scent.It is the first one I bought based solely on reviews and I don't regret it at all.It is a seductive scent that dries down to a creamy sweet.Its perfect for a strong women who knows what she wants ;)

I tried it today. I couldn't trace anything oriental in this scent. Smelled (and unfortunately stil smells) on my skin as some vanilla yogurt. Weir scent I don't mind to live without.

Luved it the day my mother and I first tested it at the perfume shop! Monies were saved up just 2 buy this perfume. I now alternate between this and Very Irresistable(depending on where I'm going/occasion)... It's definately a bold and sophisticated fragrance.

this was my first CK perfume ever bought; it was one year ago..i can say good timing because i believe this is a cold weather appropriate perfume; it`s sweet and soft and it lasts long time on skin.i have a small bottle but still going on since last winter i love this one

I am so sorry, I can't wear it at work, cos it is soooo intensive and long lasting!!! It is gonna be my next buying (maybe), I am still vacillating between it and Very Irresistible for the coming winter.

I can easily understand while this oen is so popular. Even today when I was in the perfume store two women were buying it at the same time.
It has got a character, it is easily recognisable, unlike many other fragrances. I love the spicy notes in it, making it a bit, but not too much masculine.
It is a very long lasting one as well- if I use it before I go out in the evening, in the morning I can still smell a faint memory of the night on my pillow...

My truly no 1. I get compliments each time i wear it. My husband loved it from night no 1. he still says that my perfume turned him on the 1st night we met:) elegant and powdery finish!!

A big, proud, and wonderfully loud fragrance. I love a perfume that makes a statement and not in an intrusive way but rather in a confident, sexy, and warm way. This one does just that. It's deep and womanly and its staying power is excellent. A little goes a long way but I find that to be true with nearly all of CK's perfumes. Can't wait to wear it as the weather gets colder.

absolutely one of my regular favorites- the warm, sexy scent lingers all day and night- i can smell it on my clothes for days... defintely a delicious oriental spice that attracts.

The name is totally suitable for this fragrance. It's kind of unique, sensual and sexy. I think pomegranate's note does such "a big deal" for this fragrance success. Man always asking what I am wearing and I get complemented many-many times for my "royal" taste for parfumes as I choose "Euphoria"

In the beginning i smell it "delicious" and luscious...Love the seductive smell of black orchid and lotus...They give the perfume a sensual and seductive touch which ends in warm and deep base ... The woman who wears it is self-confident of her effect on men, she is mysterious and hides secrets behind her deep eyes...One of my faves !!!

I adore Euphoria and my only wish is that it would last longer... :( It disappears too quickly which is such a shame because I get so many compliments when I wear it but I am continually having to spritz up during the day. The shower gel and body lotion are my weapons to attack the disappearing act. Very unusual and unique. Will always have a bottle of this in my collection.

once when i was in a restaurant the waitress kindly asked what kind of perfume was i wearing..then a friend of mine, then another one..people notice the strong,but unique smell of euphoria..i kind of fancy it myself..still i`m a seeker of new fragrances;)

Starts off like a lightened up Angel, moves through a chemical melonny phase somewhat like Prada by Prada (which turns my stomach). It seemed to be heading somewhere slighty creamy/spicy when I scrubbed it after about 30 minutes.

i have a few samples of it, but i dont wear it, it doesent fit me somehow, i like it on others though, when i smell it on someone i wonder what this pleasant smell could be, then i realize:), so maybe it doesent fit my personality, or it should be smelled from far away.

I think it's definitely a women's fragrance, but I wouldn't buy the whole bottle. A sample would be enough because it's so strong.

I agree that this perfume has something on certain people. I first smelled this on a coworker, and loved it. She happily showed me the lotion that she keeps in her purse for refreshing. So, I ran out to try it on myself. It had NOTHING of the same smell on me. At all. Even after drying down. 'Was quite disappointed. But, I do believe in the skin chemistry thing. I've seen it time and time again.

If this perfume doesn't work well on you, then perhaps you have the wrong chemistry. On me it smells delightful. The only other perfume that has earned as many compliments for me has been Angel.

TOTAL EUPHORIA! I am loving this scent. The pomegranate, persimmon (yummy), amber, black orchid and amber are the strongest notes on me. Euphoria is sooo creamy; think heavy cream with persimmons and pomegranates. Sensual and very chic. This is by no means a man's perfume. This is all about a confident woman. Euphoria isn't for the princess, it's for the queen!

At first Euphoria smelled exactly like Hugo Boss' Deep Red with a touch of synthetic (think RL's Glamourous). Then after it warms on the skin for about 15 minutes the creamy and sexy fruit & floral woods notes come into play. My husband LOVED this and asked me to wear this more! Oh, and on me Euphoria is very long lasting.

I love this fragrance... very spice and oriental and smells awesome on other people but it is not a sublte scent... it is bold and demands attention. I prefer Blossom, it isn't a twin of Euphoria but more like a more sensual,softer cousin. Euphoria is just to strong for me.

I really wanted to like this. However, it smells rather strong and masculine. Nothing about it smells as sophisticated or feminine as it appears.
