Black Diamond Canali for men

Quiet Special! :)

first 1-2 hours, heavy sillage, strong leather in the front and the violet and the pineapple in the back.
After that, its close to skin... very close... but it last very long, up to 12 hours. The leather go back and let the pineapple in the front with the violet.

More evening fragrance, needs cold weather or a breezy chilly summer, not warm weather... I will say all season but again, needs cool weather.

Scent: bit unique, 8/10
Longevity: need to be very close to smell ti after 2 hours, 5/10
Sillage: again too close to the skin, 6/10
Overall: Smell great but not long enough, 7/10

I really like this one. Has a lot going on. There are lots of notes you can pick out if you try, but my main impression is: sweet, floral, fruity, bright, and yet still somewhat masculine in character. Perhaps it's the leather and/or woods that keep it from tipping into feminine territory. Unlike the other Canali scents I have tried, this one has good projection and longevity. I think it would be easy to overdo this one, since it is a jump out and grab you type fragrance. This one struck the right chords with me, however if you are sweet averse, you might want to steer clear of Black Diamond. Grade: A

Like Kristo below i too have been wearing ths a lot more lately. When i frst got it i could take it or leave it and almost forgot about it until i found it mournfully lying in a draw.
The main vibe i get from it are a fruity leather, almost like the fruit has infused the leather rather than any development of notes. I find that it stays pretty much the same from start to finish (which is a very long time)and is very addictive.
It is a classy scent and like another reviewer i find it hard to find the right time or place to wear this.

YES! Canali Black Diamond is very classic and elegant!!! Not perfect baut really good!!!

Remind me a bit John Varvatos.
But more fruity than Varvatos more leathery. It's cheaper over the online stores 40-50$ for a full bottle of 3,4 oz compare to 80-90$ in normal stores.
I like it. Only downside is longevity, you know I am a longevity maniac and want some for my money. With this one I won't have for my money so I won't buy it. Anyway, very nice scent.

Stellar fragrance that oozes class and sophistication with a bit of mystery. The drydown is other-worldly and women cannot stop sniffing you. . which will upset you since you want to keep the sniffs for yourself!

After reading the reviews about this fragrance i decided to buy it, so I waited with baited breath after recieving it, opened it give myself a few squirts and.......... what a let down, very weak, nice but not exquisite, once on it last around 1 hour then disappears.

60+ colognes in the collection and this is #1. By far more compliments with this than anything else I've ever worn.

This is a feminine fragrance to say the least. I wouldn't wear this one unless I wanted to advertise to women.

this is very classic and elegant. it is very suitable to be worn with a tuxedo. only for special occasions, will be very boring for daily use.
