Black Diamond (for men)

Canali Black Diamond is equisite. I get the mandarin orange and nutmeg in the opening but there is so much richness in there that I'm unable to distinguish the other notes.

The heart is floral but what keeps BD from moving too far to the feminine side is a very wonderful leather note. I spent several tours in Korea and was always asked by friends to bring back hand made leather jackets. This reminds me of being in the leather shop among those new leather jackets. One might also get this essence when test driving a new luxury car with rich leather seating. The aroma is so comforting. Think a little fruity, somewhat floral then the leather undertones.

Black Diamond dries down smoothly and I find its lasting power above average. I do wear it to the office occasionally and receieve many compliments. It's well suited for a coat and tie but there is one other killer application for this. Pair B.D. with a leather jacket and jeans. You'll love the results.

This is a feminine fragrance to say the least. I wouldn't wear this one unless I wanted to advertise to women.

this is very classic and elegant. it is very suitable to be worn with a tuxedo. only for special occasions, will be very boring for daily use.
