After her first fragrance which was a great success, My Life from 2010, singer Mary J. Blige is launching a new version of the fragrance named My Life Blossom. The new perfume continues the fragrant story of the first release.
My Life Blossom was created in cooperation with Firmenich and Lisa Price of Carol’s Daughter. Top notes of this floral fragrance start with gardenia petals, mandarin, white freesia and orange flower, developing into a heart full of tuberose, jasmine and marigold. The whole composition closes with sandalwood, cashmere and vanilla.
One interesting thing is that by buying this perfume, you contribute to the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), the charity formed by Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute which enables women to develop their personality through scholarships, grants and programs. One dollar from each flacon will be donated to the Foundation .
The fragrance in a simple glass flacon arrives on the market in 2011 as 50 ml.

When I got this perfume I was not sure I'd keep it due to the fact that I never like florals or gardenia based scents. Strangely, after a couple of days, I literally fell in love with this. Feminine, sexy, soft, elegant; I keep smelling it. I also have the body creme which is like silk...you have to try it!

Oh wow, I sniffed this in a magazine at the hair stylist's, and I love it! Soo floral and lovely, absolutely feminine and pleasant. Will buy.

Sometimes you have to leave well enough alone! The first MJB My Life was absolutely my favorite...this one smells exactly like My Life; however, when it dries down it loses the praline sweetness and turns to a bitter grassy smell almost too much gardenia for my tastes. I was so disappointed and wanted to return it back to HSN; however, my mother loved it and so I gifted the fragrance to her.

The opening smells EXACTLY like the first one but it's a little lighter and it dries down sooo much better than the first. It starts off kinda tuberoseyish but it dries down to a nice, incense, kinda sweet smell to it with just a hint of Vanilla. I really like this one a lot better but I wouldn't mind getting a bottle of the first or getting a rollerball.

I ordered it. I like it. I don't think I love it at all. It's very floral and green to me. It isn't bad at all but I think Juicy Couture, Kim Kardashian, and Mariah's Forever are more to my taste than Blossom is. I'm going to test all 4 of them together to make my decision. I wish I had tried her 1st one! From what I've heard, it sounds sweeter than Blossom and much more up my alley. I don't get the sweetness of the praline and vanilla that I was hoping for. I'll test it a bit more. : )
