This fragance is so concentrated and intense, smell almost metallic..

I resisted the strong sharp opening, waiting for the magnificent drydown, but it just switched from metallic Rose to sour Rose..

In extremely small doses this fragrance would be better. Anyway I feel a little disappointed about this one, Caron has Better floral Fragrances.

I love, Love, LOVE this. But I admit, I was a little afraid because it is classed as a floral, which I usually despise. However, Oak moss is listed, so I think this more appropriately a floral chypre.

Caron's urn pure parfums don't come out of the bottle favorably,in my opinion. You need to wait 30-60 minutes before you are rewarded. But oh my, this is one of the highest quality perfumes I've come across! You'll detect the rose immediately, but most of the scent wears like a plump, juicy, wet bouquet of indulgent florals.
I will give this a few more wearings before deciding to buy or not, because in the past floral chypres wear well on me until my nose gets sick of the sweetness around wearing 3-4. But first impression puts this scent at the head of the class :-)
(Edit: went ahead and bought, and I'm finding myself reaching for this one quite frequently, it's a favorite)
