I couldn't find this one in any of the perfume shops where I live, and was more than a little afraid of buying it untested - whenever a scent contains jasmine and bergamot, a huge "PROCEED WITH CAUTION"-sign lights up for me. But I really, really wanted to try it, so when I found it online, I thought "oh well, if it doesn't work on me, I can always use the bottle for decoration".
I loved the opening, with its juicy blast of cherry and pink pepper. But after a few minutes, the jasmine showed through, so I braced myself and waited for the jasmine-headache to set in... but somehow, the toffee-sweet tonka beans took the edge off the jasmine and prevented it from breaking away on its own.
An hour later, all green notes had faded away, and left a sweet, warm, creamy, slightly powdery blend of pink pepper, cherry and lots of tonka beans.
On me, it's a lot more gourmand than fruity. A little less jasmine and a little more long lasting would have made it even better, but it's definitely a keeper!
ETA: I take back what I said about the lasting power - the base notes just go on and on and makes you feel as if you're wrapped in a sweet, warm cloud. Wonderful for wet, cold, bleary autumn days!
