This is an interesting carnation fragrance, representing both the floral and spicy aspects of the plant. Iris, clove, pepper and carnation dominate the opening, in the drydown the carnations are accompanied by roses. I think there is some vanilla and sandalwood too, the fragrance definitely has a creamy side, although it is mainly a powdery clove scent on my skin. The drydown is quite linear, the fragrance just fades away.

I had a 4ml tester of the EdP and while I enjoyed it a lot, I don't see myself spending over 200e on a bottle. It stays quite close to the skin and lasts about 5h (nose-on-wrist). Although this is one of the best carnation fragrances I have tried and like the spicy and floral accords, it feels a bit unfinished at times. If you love carnations, it is worth giving this one a try if it crosses your path, but no need to feel like you are missing out something very special if you haven't got a chance to sniff this.
