Eau Vive was originally launched in 1966 and re-launched and mid ‘90s. The composition contains the following notes: bergamot, mandarin, juniper berries, coriander, lavender, orange, lily of the valley, mimosa, apple, vetiver, rosewood, green leaves, rhubarb, vanilla and musk. Available as EDT.
What a refreshing, herby, zesty smell this one has. It is like a tonic shower / bath gel and that's not a bad thing. Definitely unisex, the lavender and citrus blend beautifully and the herby woody notes add a bit of depth. Bought a purse spray pack of drugstore Carven scents for a pittance and for the money it's a nice little treat! If you like cologne / tonic type frags this one fits the bill.
