Monsieur Carven by Carven is a Chypre Floral fragrance for men. Monsieur Carven was launched in 1978. Top notes are aldehydes, artemisia, neroli, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are carnation, sandalwood, patchouli, cinnamon, orris root, jasmine, vetiver and rose; base notes are labdanum, leather, coconut, civet, oakmoss, vanilla and myrrh.

Just got it and I loved it immediately...exactly what I imagined it would be.

I had it for many years. What a wonderful scent, purely magic. It had a strong personality, you could identify it immediately, a signature. It's really a pity that Carven suppressed it. Some things shouldn't disappear.

There is old scent. There is vintage scent, wonderful and historic. The aroma of a season filled with symbolism.

What does this mean - old fashion?
Are we talking about what? Cars? Tv screens? Cell phones? Planes perhaps?
No, we're talking about scents and fragrances. What is the meaning of old fashion in this case?
Is coffee old fashion? What about tea? And food is it old fashion?
I don't really know.
I can see only two types. The ones I like more and the ones I don't like. The ones that work on me and the ones who doesn't.
This one has been discontinued. It was good as I can remember.
It died unfortunately.
Some idiots can claim it was because it became old fashion.
