I had a bottle of this when it first came out and I quite enjoyed it. More recently, on a whim, I purchased a gift set and I used it a few times and could not put my finger on what it first smells like...but then it came to me. It reminds me of what a new babydoll smells like. I find it strangely comforting. But then that smell goes away and turns into this lovely ambient fragrance (on me anyway). Even when I can no longer smell it on myself, I am still getting many compliments. Glad I met up with this again:)

This perfume smells like sour fruit and fresh flowers to my nose.

It's nice, pleasant but not something I'd purchase for myself.
The fruit in here really is sour...it's very bizzare...it stays fresh and pretty and is dominated by the smell of roses. The roses are quite juicy as they are being backed up by thre berries.
It's nothing spectacular though but I spose if you'd Like a bargain or a perfume just for lounging around in, this could be useful.

This is my favorite perfume, it lasts long, and the smell is refreshing all day long, there is nothing bad to say here!

I like this-sometimes you just want a nice,soft floral to wear while hanging around in your jeans and a tee:this is that scent.Uncomplicated but quite lovely.
I can't really pick out the individual notes and the sillage is quite low on me but that's ok as I can get migraines pretty easily.
Actually the more I wear it I find peach to be the dominant note-in fact it reminds me of a watered down Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming.

I really like this fragrance. It's very simple and chic, not teenage, not girly but rather timeless in it's classy nature. It is a celebrity scent that has a soft, elegant, and a bit mature character and I can't imagine this to become old-style or irritating. I like to wear it in the hottest summer and in winter, too, thus, I assume it as a great signature scent for everyday.
I don't smell anything chemical or cheap and the lasting power is just fine for the price and for the fume being an edt. Five stars out of five.

Too this day this is the fragrance that meshed the best with my body chemistry. Did not smell at all on me, as what it smelled like in the bottle. Very fresh and light and floral with just a teensy hint of sweetness. Would not necessarily recommend for everyone though.

I have to say, I have this and it smells similar to Gucci Flora on me. Gucci Flora charges double the price and doesn't last as long as this one does. On me this is a sweet apricot, peach soapy smell. I love it. My husband got it for me he often gets me a perfume here and there as a suprise. I love it and wear it all the time. It is very cheap to buy and I don't see it anywhere in Australia but it doesn't smell cheap to me. Due to the fact that it has a fresh peachy smell it may be boring to a lot of people.

my mom got this in edt gift for her birthday last year but she got many others and she gave me because she knows that celine is my favorite artis :0 and i liek her and her parfumes very much :0 it worth every money for celine parfumes :) i think that i will buy this the original and senational the same :D

Oh god,wonderful perfume.it's very sofisticated,fresh,clean,soft and classy perfume but,unfortunately this makes me brethless and nervous because I've been wearing it in unhappy,stressful times.

well its like you said I am entitled to my opinion just as you are with yours, this is a place for discussion and opinions and I simply gave mine. I just think they could do a better job with the celine line is all like not make the bottles so cheap looking. As for britney's pefumes at least they made it into places other then wal mart.

Based on the notes I imagined this to be much prettier. It is very much a green floral on me with a "grassy" note in the beginning. I am happy I didn't make a blind purchase. It is not a bad perfume but it's not something I would wear.

@ tye. If your argument for why celine scents smell cheap is that they're only sold at mart type stores and drug stores, then shouldn't your current signiture scent by Britney spears smell cheap since it is only marketed in the EXACT same locations? Personaly I like the scent, it is in my top 20, but there are a lot of people who call britney scents cheap because they feel britney herself is cheap. As for this being what they taught you at your job, of course they're going to want you to talk down about products that they don't carry. I just think that a perfume should be judged by sense of smell, rather than whose name is on the bottle, where the fragrance is sold, or the appearance of the bottle. You're entitled to your opinion, but I feel that you should at least be fair in your review, and try not to be rude to everyone who likes Celine scents. This is a place for POLITE discussion. By saying that all her scents smell cheap you are saying that, as the majority likes this scent, most of the people reviewing this scent smell cheap.

along with vicoria and david faith hill tim mcgraw they never made it into our stores, kate moss did, gwen stefani, jlo,sarah jessica parker did but no celine dion didnt, halle didnt because they are ment to be targeted to wal mart/ kmart/ wal greens Im just going by what they tought me at my job

Yeah I know this I used to work at dillard for fragrance I met with coty vendors I'm not stupid but the bottles are cheap it is the cheaper line of coty because you have coty and than you have coty prestige It even says it on the bottom of the boxes like euphoria it has coty prestige on celines it just has coty they never made it into higher end stores such as dillards/macy's they go straight to walmart they bottles are cheaper too. I know this because it was my job to know.

@ tye kristoher. You state that Celine Dion perfumes seem to be the cheapest out of all the celeb perfumes. I would like to point out that the vast majority of celeb fragrances are manufactured by coty. There is no difference in quality of materials between one celeb scent and another, so I don't see why one would smell cheaper than another. Coty also manufactures Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, chloe, etc... marketed through coty prestige. Which is the exact same thing, just marketed to a different crowd, so they can charge more for it.

Also there are several different perfumers creating celine fragrances. For example Patricia Bilodeau created this scent. She's also created Tommy jeans and halsotn unbound. Where as Harry Fremont created celine dion pure brilliance, and ck one. Maurice Roucel created Celine dion sensational along with scents from most of the big houses such as gucci, guerlain, rochas, lancome, dkny, kenzo, bond no 9...the list goes on and on. So yet again I don't see how all celine dion scents would smell cheaper than any other scent.

What does affect quality is of course quality of materials, but seeing as most design houses are now using synthetic materials in place of things like vanilla, amber, so on... there really isn't much difference in quality between a cheap perfume manufacturer and an expensive one anymore.

Also Perfume is considered superior to an edt, as it has a higher concentration of materials. You pay more for it for this reason. So with so many becoming watered down to the point that by classic definintion they are only really body sprays, a "cheap" perfume could actually be considered better quality than an expensive one if it has a higher concentration of materials.

Personally I'm not a fan of celine dion's music, (or any of the other celebs that are putting out fragrances, for that matter) but I don't allow that to influence my perception of her fragrances. There are some I quite like, and some I only find so so.

I think it is a vary nice surprise , i have already reviewed 2 others of her scents (Sensational and Simply Chic) which were exremly dull and generic to me , but this one is much better .
It is yet quite discreet , but also sophisticated at the same time and feminine .
It doesn't last long enough though , maybe if sprayed generously it will ...
The heart notes make me think of "Bohême" from "Eau Jeune" a bit.

I decide to come aboard this review board simply because i found it so aggravating to see this Dion fragrance described as 'chemical smelling'.I became a fan of his gentle perfume when, to my delight, I discovered it smells exactly like heliotrope flowers. It also prompted me to plant them in my garden(annuals~alas). They are tiny, deep purple blooms and you can certainly test this theory on your own by visiting a nursery and seeking them out. That said, scent your world with love my friends!

I wanted to like this...especially because someone just suggested it has a "smokey rose" scent I've been longing for. Oh, no. I bought a very inexpensive bottle this evening. Put it on one little spot on my upper arm...and oh! All I really get is chemicals and a disturbing "bug spray" smell...I can't think of anything else. Not only that, but the place where I sprayed it on is burning just a bit and getting slightly itchy. This evening I have learned the definition of the word "scrubber." Ugh.

Quick proper review:
I need to re-review because I have not worn Celine Dion in ages and I have just received my new bottle from ebay and wore the perfume yesterday.
I used a proper amount of perfume, about 15 sprays, to cover my neck, cleavage, wrists and shoulders.
The opening was quite sharp and fresh with a tiny hint of a tropical fruit note (it says peach but I am not smelling any peach).
When it dried down, the perfume almost smelled like champagne without the sparkle but with a powdery note.
I would describe those notes as clean, quite sophisticated and modern.
I did not note musk, amber or sandalwood in the base, but the champagne note stayed for about 3 hours.
I noticed that the fragrance was completely gone from my wrists within an hour but I could smell the scent making its way to my nose from my cleavage all day long so I guess it must have to do with temperature.
The scent is surely only hardly noticeable by someone who is not really near you because it stays very close to the skin but the staying power on my cleavage and neck is awesome!
My husband could smell the scent on me in the late evening hours, about 13 hours after applying it.

I know what that odd dusty smell that some people seem to detect is.
I noticed that strange hint as well but only now I can describe it:
CUSTARD. It is custard.

i love this perfume , it is refreshing , the only prob. is it's staying power:(

I find this is another clean, modern classic smell and I am surprised that nobody likes it.
Fresh, a bit floral and a bit fruity.
Perfect for office wear.
The staying power is not really great but this frag can be bought for so little money on ebay that I do not mind topping up during the day.

I have to keep putting it on. It's ok for an office - without visitors ...

Not to hurt you girls loving J'Adore, but i think it is very similar to it. Both not really favorites of mine!

This is not my idea of a fragrance.None of the notes smell good or else blended they stink.I really expected a LITTLE bit more.Oh well,Ill give it to my daughter i law,(she wears anything)and thinks im obsessed with fragrance.i do too a little,but I still love it.

While I don't find the scent to be anything too spectacular, I found it pleasant. Unfortunately, it disappears almost as soon as you put it on. Not worth the money, no matter how little you spend on it.

I don't know if the tester bottle was passed it's expiration date or not, but I tried this on and all I could smell was this dry, steely - metallic odour. And whatever floral notes there were meant to be - they smelt like synthetic flowers . You could easily mistake this as rubbing alcohol or antiseptic floor cleaner.

my now ex bought tis for me. i never liked it but was in denial as to just how bad it was until we broke up.

it has a very unappealing chemical scent.

I've got it for present from Fragrantica, and now I feel it my duty to at least write a review of it :)
A very classic scent but at the same time not as sophisticated as the big names. A pleasant cologne scent, flowery, ladylike in its common meaning (= average)
NOT for young ladies, not for partytime, not for sexy appearance.
I think I don't have to mention that the lasting period is of course sooo weak.
Anyway, the bottle is nice, smooth crystal-like glass with a golden cap. Simple, but nice.

the fruity element is a bit pungent, although covered in a rather sweet and pleasant veil of fragrance...

Sophisticated, Interesting and Intriguing. Perfect first fragrance from Celine. Absolutely gorgeous.

This perfume is very much like other celine dion perfumes I have tested; quite gentle, soft floral that is harmless and quiet - a very everyday somewhat boring fragrance - not startling but okay.

This is a soft, light fragrance that was given to me by my mother-in-law. For some reason, on me, the perfume mostly smells like dust. When I first spritz it, I get a lovely, floral, fruity smell, but then it just smells like ... dust. And it just keeps smelling like dust. If anyone wants to swap me, I have most of a bottle left.

My mother used to wear "Celine Dion", perhaps that's why it makes me think of a warm, delicate presence(because of the peach), also like the one of a woman with life experience. This fragrance has a seductive side as well, due to jasmine and red berries notes. I don't know about you, but I really like this fragrance, it seems quite unique to me.

Clean, sophisticated, easy-going; that's how I would describe this fragrance. Excellent for office and everyday wear as it is quite a gentle scent.

I think this is a sophisticated scent. It lasts very long on me. Fine for every day wear or special occasions. It is a warm,sexy fragrance.

1st off I want to say, "I have no feelings either way for Celine Dion." Secondly, on me this perfume is a wishwashy, uninteresting, shallow & very chemical smelling perfume. On the plus side it disappeared completely from my pulse points in less than 3 minutes. Horrid! I just smell a very chemical base almost like pure rubbing alcohol.
