Chic Celine Dion for women

I bought this on offer in the sales unsniffed. Big mistake! I really dislike it and ended up throwing it out! Really cheap and boring smelling. I did detect a strong freshness that may work well in the summer as a splash or body spray but I certainly wouldn't call it perfume! oh dear :( quite like Celine but no to this perfume, i've never tried any of her others and this has put me off. Calling it 'chic' is extremely misleading. I hate being negative but I can't appreciate this one sorry! However, once again just because I dislike it I accept that we all have different tastes !

Unfortunatelly, just like lots of watery perfumes this becomes very sour on my skin. The most dominant notes is melon but it's way too strong and, again, sour me to wear it. Big dissapointment: beautiful bottle and advertisement and a teenage watery-fruity fume in it:(

Although I loved this at first it soon became one of those teenager perfumes I wanted to avoid!

MELONS! Just melons and smells cheap to me. Don't find anything 'chic' about it...

I was very suprised to find that there was no green apple in this. Must be the combination of watermelon and green notes that create that appley tartness that immediately makes me think of DKNY Be Delicious.(Chic is alittle more complex and not quite as tart due to the water notes, yet still very similar.)

This fragrance is very pretty, likable and easy to wear. However, the name? seriously inappropriate. "Chic" is far to fresh and casual to be called "Chic".
For me, this is a lovely little spring and summer daytime fragrance.

if you love watermelon or LAILA from geir ness try this cheapie priced version.
this is a great choice. lasting power is mediocre but priced very reasonable.

So far I found any Celine Dion scent bad. This one in my opinion is the stinkiest and most cheap smelling one.

I agree wholeheartedly with boardbat. I have been a huge Celine fan for years and I enjoy her fragrances as well.

a perfume dosen't have to be super expensive or from a certain house for me to like it. it just has to be somthing i feel comfortable in and smells good when i wear it. that being said, i like celine dion's perfumes and this one as well. her perfumes are light and lovely. spirit lifting if you will. celione dion always seems happy and joyful and appreciative of her blessings. i think her perfumes reflect that as they are happy and upbeat. the notes are usually a lot of different florals that don't end up being head-splitting. i like this and wore it to work last night. i was surprized at how long lasting it was. i could actually still smell it faintly after 8 hrs. its a thumbs up for me.

why is this so under-rated? because it's not expensive stuff, right? well, your loss...

Chic is for me the smell of south Portugal. I was wearing this fragrance during my holiday there, and it fitted perfectly to the green hills, orange trees, the ocean and the beach. It is a dreamy, green and lightly aquatic scent with hint of well blended flowers and a lot of freshness and cheerfulness in it. The bottle is not very handy to use, but still, the fragrance is what matters.

Starts out fruity and very green. drydown is..mostly grassy. Glad it was on sale for only 6.00 @ Walgreens!

This perfume is really cute and chic, as the name says (my opinion)...i can smell a powerful melon scent instead of the watermelon scent...a very fruity fragrance that should exist in every teenager perfume collection (P.S. : i don't have it...but i'll ask for it soon...:D ) =^.^=

i got this one, use it from time to time, when i get sick of all the sweet perfumes... it's unobtrusive, nothing "chic" though. not bad, agreeable, nothing special though

i sampled this today and i would say its very nice and really grassy and clean , a little bit bitter i think,i am in loved already :)

Nice sheer spring scent that wears a bit like Daisy on me, with an odd buttery ending. Still, it smells of clear sweet grapefruit (don't know why as that's not a listed note) and faint florals on me. I bought it unsniffed on a massive sale, so I'm fairly pleased. Not especially different, but pleasant and good for hot weather.

I bought this perfume without trying it first and was pleasantly surprised. It's perfect for summer and the small squirt I applied has lasted all day. It's light and refreshing without being too sweet.

Indeed, there's nothing chic about it. Floral/aquatic/fruity fragrances almost never tend to. I would even say it smells more like a sporty/everyday scent... The bottle does look chic though.

Got this one yesterday and seemed interesting at the first sniff. On my skin, it reminded me of Avon's shower gels...sooo not chic.

This is a beautiful scent! Dark and citrus smelling. Very seductive and mysterious. Not the typical Celine Dion scent. DOES NOT LAST LONG AT ALL THOUGH!

I found it when I was on a testing trip and I had to try it. It has a very strong watermelon scent with some weak flowery accord - very light scent for young girls and for those who don't want to be flashy. I agree that it is the first Celine Dion perfume which is agreeable, but the lasting time is the same as all of the CD perfumes - sooo weak. After half an hour I couldn't smell it on my wrist.
Fortunately there is a DNS (Deodorant natural spray) version of it which is in a 75 ml package and it is cheaper than the EDT version, more economical, and the lasting period isn't shorter - I suppose it for those who can't stand to give money for it.

this is my favorite Celine Dion sent, the others are a bit old for me. This is clean and crisp... and a bit fruity.

I hate the bottle, its so thick and it isnt easy to use it but besides everything seems to be so perfect. What is really important is the fact that me and my fiance love that fragrance...

I have to agree with sharyssa, I was very surprised as I wasn't expect much, or rather something I would never wear. On the contrary this may become a favorite. It does start out and end with sharyssa's assessment. Its very nice.

Sampled this yesterday and to my surprise it is very nice, it has an opening of watermelon and something very green and then I could smell the flowers gardenia and lotus and then it turns into a nice amber woodsy scent and it lasts which is nice.The bottle is so nice it actually looks chic and different from her other bottles I was surprised to find it was a Celine Dion fragrance.
