Sensational Celine Dion for women

Smells like her original perfume, but like she increased one of the original ingrediants and changed the color and the bottle. NOt bad at all but not amazing. I personally feel that her perfumes are for older women that smell young, but yet appropriate on them.

i have it in front of me and im gonna smell it for the first time now:

uummm. *nothing special* is the first im thinking of.
ok it has settled now, it has a very light floral scent, very light ,its absolutly nothing special but i dont dislike it!

a very SHY eau de toilette

I had bought this online a few months back and haven't thought about using it till last Month. To my nose its predominantly pears with a hint of apple and a very subtle jasmine. Nice fragrance but the longetivity, not so good. First spritz lasts a good 3 hrs on my skin, A good office/daytime fragrance overall.

I first tried this scent a few years ago, I believe it was 2008, walking through a Riteaid. I had just finished working and when I walked by the fragrance section, this was the only sample they had out, so I sprayed it, somewhat mindlessly, and went about my shopping. After I got home I could not believe how great this stuff smelled on me! My roommate even noticed how good I smelled and asked what is was. I was like " if you can believe it, it's Celine Dion! We were both so surprised bc we really hadn't heard anything about her perfumes, or that they were any good. It was Oct at the time, so for me, Sensational is my fall scent, I haven't worn it any other time of year. I'm almost tempted to try it now, being spring, since so many of you prefer it!
I'm not too familiar with notes in perfume (sometimes I can barely categorize the type correctly, ie calling a floral oriental) however, with that being said, I do love love love perfumes and I have a bit of an addiction with buying and reading about them. Someone described it as "sparkling " and "juicy" and I absolutely agree. At first, it's energizing and almost succulent, and settles into a fresh, feminine....air. I get a TON of compliments when I wear it, from coworkers to strangers on the street. It's also quite affordable, so even if you're unsure if it will work on you and your chemistry, luckily you won't have to spend a whole lot of $ only to be disappointed. I hope this helps!

I like it. I'm a sucker for any floral scent, and this is definitely floral. It seems perfect for spring. It also reminds me of a deodorant I used when I was about 13 or 14, so it's nice for reminiscing.

I got this in a gift pack with the fragrance, lotion and body wash. It smells fairly fruity and floral, but with my skin chemistry, I feel like I can kind of pick up a bit of a sweet smell to it. I'm not sure what it is, but it's a great combo to use! However, the lotion also shimmers too, in which it has fine glitter particles. That's what makes the lotion unique.
I'm not a heavy perfume user so I usually just use one squirt of fine mist. This isn't exactly strong or long lasting, but I do like it. Just right for me.

This scent most certainly has a lot of depth to it, not too deep to where you get lost in the abyss but just enough to leave you wondering what is beyond the darkness. It's a very full scent that is just lovely. Reminds me of my friend Janine's personality.

Just got a small bottle of this and its nice.
I think it would be a nice scent for an evening out in the late spring.
Its very floral but I am picking up on the fruit listed on here as well.
I can see why there are reviewers talking about the Rose scent. It seems to kind of smell like a true rose scent with this blend but if you keep sniffing,the Pear and Apple do reveal themselves.You can buy it for a cheap enough price to check it out.
For some reason I see myself wearing this on a rainy spring day or like I said previously,On a spring evening :)

I didn't get pear!Nor apple! Bummer, it may have saved this perfume. All I get is a soapy musk and light floral notes. I find the soap and musk over powering. I don't like it at all.

Funny-the first time I tried this I got something like a rose note:now I get mostly mimosa(mimose) and pear...it didn't strike me as a fruity floral at the time because it isn't a typical one.The two groups are blended so well that they don't overpower each other.It's just very soft and extremely smooth:blends into your skin nicely after a bit.I really do love this and don't care who made it:)

I am wearing this long-forgotten frag. in the early Spring and I find it lovely. Not much sillage or staying power: this is a stay at home fragrance that makes me feel clean and sweet. Reminds me of a scent i loved when i was a kid but cannot put my finger on it. I mostly love the fresh explosion of fruit and the way it becomes almost 'juicy' on my skin: like a dewy morning in a meadow. I find the name offkey but heck, me likes it well enough to finish the 100 ml bottle !

The pear is very apparent I found this fruity floral and very feminine but not long lasting.

This perfume was given to me as a gift, omg this scent does not goes with me, smells very clean but in my opinion it's for a bit older women, smells sour and I didn't like it. I had to give this perfume to my mother in law, and this perfume suits her very well :)

I like the bottle,I love the color. They should call this perfume "sparkling"! It's fruity and floraly. Perfect for daytime,very juicy. I've bought this many times since it first came out. Celine really knew what she was doing with this one!

Don't let the first spray fool you like I almost did. At first it is very artifical bug spray, type eww. However it settles just beautifully.

I bought this for only $15 and its great. Its such a clean fragrance. Suits everyday wear when you want to smell nice, clean and just smell good. I wouldn't say this was for going out on a date or if you wanted to impress someone. For everday wear its perfect! It also smells fabulous in your hair!!

I sprayed it on and said, "oh god, what have I done?" What is this reeking, sour watermelon rind, migraine-inducing mass of odor weighing upon me? Good luck trying to rinse this off.

Why oh why do I keep torturing myself with CD perfumes? I keep thinking there's got to be a good one but time after time, pure dissappointment.

This is a thin and shallow fruity floral with the ick powder part of Champs Elysee and the cheap fruit drek of Pure Brilliance. Actually very similar to Flirt Rock N Rebel...just horrid!

I'm done...there are no hidden treasures in this line.

I will forgive Mr Roucel as he obviously had a budget the size of a hotdog cart's daily earnings to work with and couldn't afford any quality ingredients.

A very sneakily sexy smell, but it doesn't last long at all! I've bought this three times because it just disappears.

I really wanted to like it but it has way too much jasmine for my taste. It gives me a headache when I wear it. But for those who like jasmine definitely a great fragrance.

This is my favorite Celine Dion perfume-as usual goes on very strong but the main note I get is rose so I don't mind so much-stays pretty rosey while it hangs around but it need reapplying quite a bit.Why is it the stuff I hate lasts forever and the ones I like just go *poof*.Definitely a very feminine scent and I like that I don't get much fruit from it-I am SO over 'fruity-florals'.

I have a bottle of this, but can't seem to spray it all the time like Celine's other perfumes, this one is just too much rose smell, and strong.

I happened upon a small (15ml) bottle of Celine Dion SENSATIONAL shimmer eau de toilette being offered for about the cost of a sample ($3), so I picked it up out of curiosity. I had no idea at the time that the nose behind this perfume was Maurice Roucel! Then I became very excited, of course.

Having worn SENSATIONAL shimmer eau de toilette a few times now, I'm forced to conclude that this was not Mr. Roucel's best work. It's not bad, by any stretch of the imagination, but the take away for me falls somewhere in the olfactory neighborhood of Nivea lotion. It might be the medium in this case, but my shimmer eau de toilette--which has a gel-like texture--does not really allow the alleged fruit notes of this perfume to unfold. I smell basically soapy generic flowers, similar in some ways to Jesus del Pozo IN WHITE or Dior PURE POISON, but at a lower quality level.

I cannot say that I regret this purchase, since it was basically free. On the other hand, I won't be running out to acquire a 100ml bottle anytime soon.

i like this parfume is romantic and fruity

thid perfume basicly is bery fruity and i dont know why but it reminds me of the shampoo 'head & shoulders' lol ... But it is a pretty perfume for the day i sometimes wear it to college

This perfume is very soft and tender. Personally, I don't fancy light scents. So I wear it per day, but there is nothing really special about it.

A very pretty, feminine, clean fragrance. Strong enough to be noticable, but not overpowering. I find it is more floral than fruity on my skin, but I do detect slight apple and pear. A nice casual fragrance for spring and summer.

Love the bottle and scent. I like smelling this scent on myself and lasted about 5 hours. Love Celine parfums.

I think of roses, of course, with this scent. I want to spritz it and spritz it and spritz it on, because while I love the smell, I have to be heavy handed with it.

But, altogether, worth the money! I love the soft, feminine way that it makes me feel!

Not very interresting , a bit less boring than "Simply Chic" ,and is resembling like it quite well, so much that i thought someone had mixed the testing bottles on the shelf . Moreover like one reviewer said, it smells like shampoo , or a fabric softener , it smells clean and fresh but very generic .

i think this is a lovely perfume and no i don't think it smells cheap. i think it smells like spring. a lovely floral that isn't over-powering with a mixture of sweet fruits. not sickening fruit, just the right combination of fruit/floral. it also has a clean smell to it. its an inexpensive perfume, but nice for everyday. lasting time could be better. i've spritzed quite a bit today.

Has a fruity opening. Turns into a clean and floral scent after a while. Unfortunately I smell something synthetic and it gives me migraines. Good lasting power.

it is simply classic.

As a child, I had a set of tiny perfumed dolls that came in perfume-shaped holders. They smelled flowery and plastic. Even at its prettiest, the perfume reminds me of those dolls: flowery but synthetic. This is another one my daughter liked, so it's hers now.

Smells like sweet shampoo, soapy and only mildly floral.

Seems like an average floral to me but it lasts forever. Just wish more fragrances I really like lasted like this!

What a pretty fume! The deep ripe peaches and plums r just delicious! After the heart comes into play I smell a distinct jasmine,kissed by one of my favorites,orris root.The drydown is creamy sandlewood with a touch of white musk.The amber is liquidy and helps with this fumes projection.Lasts really well for a celebrity fume.Its very sweet and clean smelling.A really nice floral.I love the body lotion as well.

Sensational's first 60 seconds of life is announced with a vibrant 'just ripe' pear note, remarkably genuine. It later becomes more sugary and somewhat redolent of L'Instant EDT (Roucel), at least until the sugar fully takes hold. The sugary fruits hold on for about 20 minutes before seguing into a tender and green magnolia, still slightly dewy.

This is the last realistic sensation we encounter before Sensational begins to smell very synthetic. Not in a bad way, but it does smell like the commercial fragrance used in expensive fabric softner. This is the apple adding a very fresh feel, the mimose lending a very mild soapy feel and some additional light white florals, especially jasmine. This is how I love my fresh laundry to smell after a wash so Sensational would be terrific sprayed onto your clothes to prolong that experience.

I really quite enjoy this celebrity fragrance. It has a nice sillage however it only lasts about an hour before it fades into a weak and boring sandalwood trace on the skin.

i like this one more than her other perfumes ( have only 4 ) so sweet and clean ,it has a much better staying pwoer , used it before 3hr and i can still smell it , the others ihave from hers last 2hr max.

I like this one a lot. It's true, the clean smell. It almost reminds me of children splashing in a bubble bath. I have a problem with certain perfumes not smelling so nice, like at Christmas or Thanksgiving when your around a lot of food smells all day long. This one tends to smell good even though I have a ham roasting this afternoon. I'll be wearing this for sure for the hollidays this year! I'm glad I took the time to test this. I don't get much of any kind of perfume, it's just plain clean and bubbly like a good bubbly bath.

This reminds me of Avon's Haiku. Regardless of the other notes, I only smell the lily of the valley. It's sweet and fresh, but mostly a white flower perfume. I don't know how long it's going to last. I've had it on now for about 2 hours and I still smell it.
However, the Avon Haiku is much stronger and lasts forever. I'm really not a fan of Lily of the valley, but I was hoping to pick up the fruit in this but alas, no.

I love this one is very fruity,fresh,clean,femenine,i get plum and apple at first then it become flowerly and the dry down is very good,very clean,the staying power is not too good it last like 2 hours on my skin. ;)

wow this one smells definitely like a fabric softener! i used to use a fabric softener (Softlan-Aloe Fresh) that smells exactly like this frag but it has been discontinued long time ago. On me this frag smells fruity fresh at the very beginning and later develops into a clean floral smell (the fabric softener smell)and last until the end.I cant detect any of the base notes listed. well it's not bad for me cause i kinda like the smell. Anyone who wants to smell clean should try this. nothing offensive at all in IMO!

Sillage is moderate & longevity up to 6 hours +

I bought Sensational by Celine Dion. The fragrance smells good, but doesn't last 2 hours. I would like to have the scent last at least 6-8 hours. I'm disappointed, but I will kept it.

i like this one. it's very fresh and light. perfect for a picnic or a walk in the park.

it's by no means a sensual fragrance and should never be used for a night out or to go somewhere special.

i find that it lasts fairly long but it doesn't develop

This smells very floral & feminine... Like sweet flowers, mmmm mmmm! It's light, but not extremely so. I smell a lot of the jasmine in it so it suits me just fine seeing as I love jasmine. It's not too original, but it's a very nice, pretty fragrance imo. Perfect for bedtime too.

Smells fresh and clean, and very pretty. I didn't think I'd like any of Celine's perfumes, but this one is rather nice.

It is very fresh smelling and very clean. You'd expect something a little more special or unusual with name like "Sensational" but it's neither. The name just doesn't fit the juice. Didn't last long either.

This is the first fragrance from Celine Dion that smells kind of fruity; the others have resembling warm and flowery notes. Yet it fits a mature woman instead of a teenager, like we would expect from a fruity floral. "Sensational" is an alluring fragrance and features many of my favourite notes, like plum,freesia, jasmine and mimose. The apple gives it freshness, without the smell of wet linen. This is quite a nice perfume, admittedly it smells like a mid to low-priced one.

I like this. It reminds me of Summer flowers on a sunny day. It doesn't seem to last very long though.(It reminds me a lot of 'Roses Are Red' by Coty)

appliance: like Glamorous by Ralph Lauren; although they have no common notes, they seem to me similar.
this is the best of Celine Dion's perfumes, it doesn't smell as cheap as the others, but it still smells cheap ;)
