in 2001/2002 i am walking alone in airport and got very nice fragrance attracted me, and i saw coco chanel promotion counter, they are promoting Mademoiselle... it so outstanding, charming and yet very sexy~
i cant find any fragrance similar to this...
and even now, i still remember the scent... it already stuck in my memory in my heart...
it catching my soul...

I don't like this one at all. A saleslady sprayed it on me and I couldn't wait to take a shower to get the smell off of me. It' s too strong and stays on for a super long time. I think it's too strong to wear to work, and it doesn't smell sexy at all. Smells like just boring strong perfume. Yucky

Chanel has always been one of my favourites.Coco Mademoiselle reminds me of my mother who is usually reminding me to stay away from her perfume box! =) Just a whiff of this makes me feel sophisticated, classy and elegant. This fragrance definitely leaves a great first impression (especially when it leaves a lasting scent ;))Ive always loved the smell of vetiver, patchouli, orange blossom, jasmine, ylang ylang, vanilla, bergamot and rose (any rose smells terrific!) And Chanel just made them blend together better than I expected! It gives one the edge she needs!!

I love this fragrance because it makes me feel sophisticated. It just has this unique essence of class. I was impressed by the long-lasting ability; it didn't seem to fade very much.

Personally, my only disappointment is that my boyfriend does not like this one. I love it, but he says it's too strong. It is strong, yes, but in a good way.

Started wearing this fragrance a little while ago - was not so sure at the beginning, but now I love it; have been surprised at the reaction to it's scent... strangers, friends - even my dentist said I smell wonderful and wanted to know what fragrance i was wearing!! My husband loves the way I smell when I wear it and now I'm planning on getting the range of body products so I can layer it. It is utterly wonderful!!!

Cannabis Rose and Tom Ford's White Patchouli are very similar. CM is a lot less heavy and closer to White Patchouli in my opinion. All are wonderful. CM is such a luxurious smell. I think it is timeless. Any age could pull it off.

I really like this scent beacuse it lasts long and it certainly smells nice. But somehow it manages to irritate my skin but I will try the EDT sometime beacuse it seems as if the EDP is to strong for my skin.

I am not too familiar with Chanel perfumes. I have always shyed away from them because the aldehydes affect the sillage in some odd way, that I cannot describe-I can only describe that it bothers me. I experimented with Madamoiselle with a nice EDP spray sample vial. I do love orange and bergamot notes -but-where are they? I can say I enjoy the opening of Madamoiselle but I cannot distinguish the orange notes. I cannot distinguish any notes individually in Madamoiselle. The first day of testing, I experienced my usual distaste of the typical Chanel opening of powerful, overwhelminlgly airy sillage...the second day the perfume seemed to be more calm. This perfume has no aldehydes and this allows the floral and heavy base to stay dense.
I cannot leave the idea of this perfume being a Fruity Floral or Fruity Chypre. I am sensing so much sweet fruit here. Even at the very end, at the last hours, the fruity, sugary scents prevail, still clinging to the base, overpowering the base notes.It seems to be a Chanel for a very young girl, following recent trends of darling, youthful, fun, and giddy fruity perfumes. This could be a nice gift perfume, so pleasing to many and without the usual aldehydes. The perfume is long lasting, the sillage is medium strength, and it is made with all the recognizeable quality of Chanel craft.

One of me coworkers wears Coco Mademoiselle, and I've wanted to try it for a long time - seemed like that perfect fragrance I've been looking for. But alas, yet another perfume that smells wonderful on people who are not me. I tried on a tiny little spritz of the EdP today, and it was my Pure Poison debacle all over again - the bergamot and the jasmine took over completely, and those two scents are completely awful on me. What's even worse is that it got so overpowering, I had to switch buses three times on my way home, because people around me were squirming and sneezing. I washed it off once I came home, and what's left of it now - all the lovely, lovely base notes - smells completely wonderful; very feminine and exclusive. I'll keep looking for something that smells just like these base notes, without the citrus/jasmine top notes. And in the meantime, I'll just inhale deeply whenever my coworker walks by.

ETA: The base notes have an incredible lasting power. I'll have to wash my jacket...

How to describe such a lovely fragrance ?

It starts of soft, sweet and flowery, than after one hour it turns into a warmer, elegant, not overwhelming paradise. The thing is you only need a bit to keep you going the whole day. I use the eau de perfume. The drydown is a warm, subtle and nice perfume that stays with you. So hard to describe it's lovelyness. I fell in love with this one. If there were coco mademoiselle berries growing on trees I will eat them.

The notes are good in looking the description but I have tested it and in snif I simply hate this scent. Very ugly and sour and the rose in is, is cheap. this is not a beautiful rose like burberry london or parfum sacre. I don't like this style of perfume. Yet chanel has very good lipsticks but aparente smells are not so good as that. I do not want more than that :/

This is quite an interesting fragrance by Chanel. It's actually very confusing to my nose. When I initially smelt this, it was strong and quite citrusy but when I breathed out and the smell settled with my nose, it became powdery and soft.

It is quite a delightful little scent. I would imagine it to be very appealing to the younger crowd and this is reflected by Chanel's choice of Keira Knightly being the face of this perfume. The scent itself is very refined and elegant. Coco Mademoiselle is the definition of a woman that knows what she wants and understands the meaning of class and sophistication.

The EDP lasts considerably longer than the EDT, which is to be expected. The fragrance settles nicely on the skin, yet it is to be used only in small amounts because it tends to be overpowering at times.

i went to macy's with the intention of purchasing Chance, but when i smelled this, i was sold. I love sweet perfumes, and this was slightly sweeter than chance, but with the same complexity. It definitely evolves over time, like peeling a banana strip by strip. Very citrusy at first, but without smelling candy-like. Middle notes are pure femininity....rose definitely stands out to me. After a few hours, my sweet tooth is satisfied by the musky sweet notes. This is the part i most love about the fragrance. Can't wait to wear this through spring and summer. No compliments yet, but i know there will be.

Coco Mademoiselle is a chypre! This one is elegant, chic and very suitable to young women. At first it was almost standard citrusy top, then developed into this very rich and nice flowery and a bit sour something there. I can't figure out what sour thing is but it's pleasant and has given this perfume interesting detail. I would say when I tried it it did not fail my hoping to it. It has this Chanel feeling. If I wouldn't know I would suggest that it is how Chanel perfume smells. I also sniffed sample of Chance Eau Fraiche and it had same feeling on my skin. I think in very hot day it can turn sour. Unfortunately it does turn a bit too much sour on me, I should definitely buy one sometime. This fragrance makes me feel very elegant and classy, I like it. The bottle is very cool and minimalistic, just like N5 bottle, but I admit I like Coco Mademoiselle bottle better, because it has nice faint pink juice in it.

I spent months searching for this smell. "Once there was a girl".... i thought time after time I had smelled it, came close, but no cigar. The the night before I was gonna call this girl, I found it. (PHEW!).

What a pretty fragrance, very floral and a bit fruity at first, the good thing is that i dont smell the ylang-ylang there. Im really suprised because this one smells exactly like Salvador's "Ruby Lips" so for people who dont want to pay so much its a good alternative, and for those who want this scent with a good lasting power should buy Coco Mademoiselle :)
Its classy and also suits for summer and daytime wear.

Lovely... on the right person, which isn't me. My sister wears this beautifully; on her, it's elegant, floral, both cool and warm at the same time. The patchouli turns sweaty on me, bleah.

I agree with those who find the Chanel bottles beautiful. So classic and refined; no frou-frou, no gimmicks. (ALthough I will admit to loving the Guerlain bottles even more, for their individuality and appropriateness for the scents contained within.)

I love it at first but the drydown I can do without.It was a very feminine pretty scent but it really gets boring & stinky on me at the end.Although where it got on my sleeve it stills smells delightful...it must be my chemistry that turned it? =(
I have only had it on for a little over 2 hours & it has turned on me already.

It smells like the vanity area of a well kept women that isn't very extraordinary.The way all of her perfumes & makeup smell all together in one place.Or the smell of all the clothes in you hamper with different perfumes on them.
I mean its definitely not terrible perfume & I would wear it but VERY RARELY I don't find it that unique & it doesn't wow me....too bad & really wanted to love this =(

I sold perfume for years. When this came out, it was a instant hit with alot of women. But the funnier thing was every man I let smell this bought it for their sig other. Men love this, it is elegant, kinda floral Musk soft though but strong enough to last all day. I have never bought it but would love to have it.

A high class Chanel.. In EDP, I feel rose and orange very strong, then suddenly it turns into a patchouli scent. Nice one, but not complex like Allure, more simple comparing to it, this is a floral with patchouli base, not for young girls..

tried coco mademoiselle again. Definitely modern, but some flower or combination of flowers after some time smells somehow melancholic to me. I would prefer better allure sensualle for myself if I had to choose. It is light as well, and have nice bitterness to it. Coco M. not for me, I'm afraid, after all.

I tried this several times, because first of all it is Chanel, and secondly, because it is this summer's bestseller in some stores..as I learned. And I can say that I don't understand it at all. It is too fresh for my taste, though men I know like this perfume a lot. It smelled quite ordinary to me

Coco Mademoiselle is chic, classy, sexy, and still casual enough for any day or occasion. I love how it smells: like spicy citrus, roses, and jasmine. I'm a fan of orientals, and this one is perfect for me. I don't care that other people wear it, because it smells a bit different on everyone. I get lots of compliments on it, and this fits my fragrance taste well. I feel comforted when wearing this scent, and it just improves my overall mood.

My 'touchstone'scent, my husband bought it for me for our first valentines...although i would have never thought to try it on my own it suits me exactly! some of my favourite base notes are in here: vetiver, patchoulli, white musk, vanilla....i do agree though that too many people do not practice discretion when spraying.

This really does last a very long time and you only need one spritz to do the trick. Unfortunately, some people put way too much on and it becomes overwhelming. I used to loooove this perfume until some creep in my apartment building told me he could tell when I left for work by the lingering scent in the hallway. B*%$ard ruined this one for me.
