This is a beautiful floral aldehyde, with a strong, soapy floral opening. If you can tolerate that first hour, the dry-down is much gentler. Try it if you can. A rich blend of notes but I choose Jardins de Bagatelle in this style.

I have a tiny, tiny bottle of this I got for free in a swap, I think, and I am measuring out every precious drop. It is strong, aldehydic spicy lily, to my nose. There's an almost 'nut-like' note in there, maybe its the cedar. This is a kind of old fashioned perfume that wouldn't fly now. I know it came out in 1978, but somehow I think of an earlier time, maybe right after the war. A powerful scent to be worn by a powerful woman.
