Sad to say this cause I actual really like Cher lloyd but this scent smells like an exact rip off from Britney spears Fantasy exact exact:( this scent has nothing new or original to it besides the big clunky diamond shaped bottle looks very very tacky. And btw bc the bottle is so big it's a pain to try and spray it out if u want this I believe u will be just fine buying Fantasy unless u want the bottle. 2/10 nothing original :(
I've never smelt this, so I didn't rate the perfume yet. But I would like to get this, even know it looks so cheap and a kids toy. I didn't even knew it came out, maybe because of poor advertising or it was only released in the uk. If my parents caught me buying this, they would tell me to bring it back and question about it, since it looks so dang cheap.
Did get me thinking is this fantasy in a different bottle?! Although lovely very sugary and sweet
Basically fantasy, but slightly fruitier, lovely fragrance as I love britneys, but much a copy
too like Britney Spears Fantasy the bottle looks cheap like a kids toy
I'm not going to deny the similarities to Fantasy with this perfume, however that does not mean it should be written off.
To me, this fragrance has much more emphasis on the top notes than Fantasy does. At one point I owned the Fantasy body lotion and thought how different that was compared to the actual fragrance. Pink Diamond smells to me like the Fantasy body lotion, it is not as creamy and cakey as Fantasy is, it's much more based around sweets and candy.
I don't think it can be seen as a copy of Fantasy, they are definitely from the same 'family' of notes but they have been done in very different ways.
The bottle however is not very nice and poorly thought out, the wide magnetic lid makes it difficult to spray the fragrance and it feels like you loose some of the spray on the bottle itself.
I was hopeful that this scent would be the first of many for Cher in the 'diamond' brand however I do not want her to continue with these bottles, an easy solution would be to make the spray longer or put it at the bottom of the diamond rather than the top.
I think this is a bad start for a debut perfume. Everyone knows it's very similar to Britney Spears' Fantasy.
Fantasy notes:
Top notes: Kiwi, red litchi and quince.
Heart: White chocolate, jasmine, orchid and cupcake.
Base notes: Musk, orris root and woodsy notes.
Pink Diamond notes:
Top notes: Kiwi, quince and black currant.
Heart: Jasmine, white chocolate, orris root and orchid.
Base notes: Musk, sandalwood and vanilla.
I have to say the bottle looks kinda cheap to me. I don't like it. The bottle looks like the pink version of Babyphat's Fabulosity. This surely can't top Fantasy, and many people don't know this one anyway, because it's released in UK.
really?? the note kinda look like snookies stuff and bs fantasy.
really?? the note kinda look like snookies stuff and bs fantasy.
I don't get the tension towards Cher, I mean even if you call this fragrance a copycat or hate it soo much, if ever I would test it out and like it, I would still directly buy it
Some people on here are quite snobby, so it does resemble Britney Spears Fantasy, I own both of these and Pink Diamond is actually more fruity than Fantasy. Most of you are clearly judging it without even sampling it.
I like it, it's not my favourite but as a gift I find it well worth a spray now and then, it's very girly and young smelling and long lasting too, I don't think it matters if it is similar to other fragrances, I say try it, at the very least give it a try before slagging it off.
I like this perfume. It smells good. It doesn't smell excatley like Britney Spears Fantasy, yes it's fimiliar, but not 100% the same. The con's are:
1. The bottle is not glass
2. This isn't sold in The United States yet.
I have yet to smell this one but looking at the notes, they are almost exactly identical to Britney Spears Fantasy minus the cupcake note. I'd like to smell this one and compare it to BS Fantasy!
Ahh, this perfume could also be called "Copycat". Cher didn't bother to do her OWN perfume. The bottle is ugly. I'm sorry Cher but do your own thing!
the bottle looks terrible trying to look like lady million but failed much !!!!!!!!!!
i dont really like the bottle and it smells like britney spears fantasy but its ok
If that's not the only thing she copied she ripped off the name from Chopard's Wish Pink Diamond! And she copied the bottle from Babyphat's Fabulosity and changed it to pink!
Best of luck to CL and her new copycat perfume
LOL she played it ultra safe and copied the notes of BS Fantasy hoping this fragrance would become a bestseller too. Pfft she sure didn't fool me! All she did was take out the cupcake note and add black currant instead of lychee!
sounds exactly like fantasy which i already have, won't be bothering with this unoriginal sounding perfume.
Actually, on second look.. the bottle design's really badly executed.
here are the notes. official notes.
top: golden quince, cassis (which is black currant), kiwi
heart: jasmine petals, white chocolate, orris root,
base: musk, vanilla, indian sandalwood.
offical notes. :)
I love how the bottle is shaped like a scene kid diamond and would definitely try this, but it sounds like it *might* get a bit sickly after a while, having read it. The reality could be the same, better, or (unlikely) worse.
Why are so many people on here complete snobs when it comes to celebrity fragrance?
Just because they're mass-produced doesn't mean that they smell cheap all the time, and the face shouldn't put you off (says she who happily wears Escada Signature, Kerry Katona and Thierry Mugler among others....)
I'd have preferred the bottle to look a bit more obviously like a diamond, though i.e. made of a sheer pink material like Ralph Lauren Cool's bottle, or... something.
Still, it *is* only around for two weeks and I guess it had to be made to a tight deadline, so I'll shut up now.
In case anyone is interested, I found the notes of this perfume on her website...
" The perfume, which comes in a bottle shaped like a bright pink diamond, is made up of white chocolate, kiwi and vanilla pods as well as jasmine petals, orchid and golden quince, creating a sweet, fruity and floral scent."
Sounds familiar, doesn't it? The notes are almost identical to Britney Spears Fantasy!
