Amazing scent! Kind of mystery.. cannot help thinking about that I am like a quin when I'm in it. One of my favorite ones. So much lilac! I really love it! <3
To Perfumeblanco, I think that if Chloe Love Intense speaks to you that you should absolutely go buy a bottle and then wear it with confidence and pride. I am a 30 year old male and I wear whatever I want, whenever I want and I have found that as long as I feel confident and secure that not only do I enjoy it more but I also attract many more compliments, from both genders. Yesterday I wore Prada Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum layered over dSquared's She Wood Eau de Parfum body lotion (both fragrances are marketed towards women) and I received 6 or 7 compliments...interestingly enough, 4 of them were from adult, heterosexual men (I live in a very small, rural town full of cowboys and rednecks in the Sierra Nevada's, about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe in northern California) AND they were genuin compliments.
As long as you like the fragrance and feel comfortable in it I don't think it matters how old or young you are, what your gender is, what your sexual orientation, or race or height or body type is for that matter. Take pride in knowing what you like. Don't be a lemming, like so many people around us are, wearing, doing and saying only what they think they should based on societal pressures.
So, I say go for it! And please let us know how it works for you.
Today I got this perfume. I totally fell in love in it. I smelled it before and started falling in it before. That s it, I fall in love with this scent. smells expensive and luxurious. rich. parfumne campaign motto is floral, powdery, Chic, Sensual and sophisticaded. and all this is. IT is expensive perfume, but worth every penny. great day fragrance. duration and the skin is super intimate. I personally like such perfume.
love it! smells like the love child of gucci guilty intense and fragonard's grain de soleil... wish sillage were better! decent lasting power!
The amber is gorgeous
I Love this one! Not a fan of the original Chloe Love...but pleasantly surprised and intrigued by this gorgeous addition to the chloe range. Reminds me slightly of the Estee Lauder Private Collection 'Amber & Ylang Ylang'..just a little more intriguing.
Will be purchasing this one :)
I love this fragrance. It is a little heady at the begining but settles beautifully and stays on, The florals are dominent in this one but are balanced nicely to a powdery musky feel.
This gives me a terrible headache and makes me feel dizzy. I sprayed it on my wrist to try it on my skin and it reminded me of Nonchalance, my grandmother's perfume. This on is very oriental, strong, longlasting and just unpleasant to me. I tried to get rid of it but i can still smell it on my arm. Use with caution!
I'm a romantical 17 years old and I love, really love this fragance. But I don't know if it's so ''adult wear'' for me... But I think that I'm gonna buy it,... what do you think?
Superelegant, Wow - I feel like a really rich girl. sober, soft and tender but yet intensive. Wonderful hint of powder. Iris, Musk and Vanilla stands out on my skin. Great scent - wonderful parfum. 10 / 10
Superelegant doft. Wow, jag känner mig flärdig och rik. Sober, mjuk och behaglig men ändå intensiv. Aningens pudrig. Iris, Musk och Vanilj är det jag känner mest på min hud. Underbar parfym. 10 / 10 .
It smells almost identical as original Love. This one is maybe like the original Love's drydown - less soapy fresh and less sweet/sour fruit candy.
i could not decide between the chloe love and this one in the end i choose this since it was the stronger version and to be honest i made a mistake buying it its not my fave its to strong for me i recommended for someone who likes strong scents but the quality is great it stays on forever....
This is the typical perfume that has made its way into my heart. I got a sample of it in my perfume shop and decided to try. Wearing it the first day, just after spritzing it on I thought it was "nice", but not soooo special. Then the flowers came out, one after the other, and I thought "waaaaaay too much", I am not usually a fan of these big florals and I thought of it being a very sophisticated perfume, something a little bit "old-lady perfume", nothing for teens and twenty-somethings... rather for the elegant ladies over 40.
But then came the drydown, and I fell in love. This soft, powdery vanilla! Just the way I love it! Soooo great! I truly couldn't stop sniffing my wrist - and the best thing is that it lasts almost forever.
Since I discovered the wonders of the drydown, I must say I like the top and middle notes better. And, I must admit, it is also time for me to grow up - with an "adult" perfume, he he! ;)
This is-without a doubt-a special scent. Sophisticated, warm and feminine, it has the power to charm and fascinate. Delicate and elegant, it is suitable for day and night.
However,I suppose there are people that find that perfume heavy or untolerable, since it is not light or soft. It definetely depends on each one's taste and personality but I firmly believe that you should try it on your skin first and decide the next day.
Therefore it is not a safe choice but it is a lovely one, if this perfume is proved to be good on you.
eau de intense is definitely attractive, more deeper, more sensual. you still have the old notes in there but this one has more to it, more classy, more assertive. the regular one is very ladylike, this one is the lady & sex bomb (together) to the hard core, and way more appropriate for a night wear as well.
I love both the original Love and the Intense, in fact since tomorrow is a discount day I am thinking of buying both. Love is one of the most beautiful, intensely feminine, sophisticated fragrances, complicated and spicey enough, very unique and defining with great sillage. Though the Intense is very similar, a few notes have been toned down and others were added making it passionate as well. What a gorgeous scent for an evening occasion, a date or any occasion you want to feel like a woman and exceptionally beautiful and seductive. Both are making it to my faves. Cannot decide between the two which is why I am thinking of getting a small bottle of both.
I absolutely love this one. The smell of vanilla is gorgeous. It is very long lasting, spray once or twice in the morning and it lasts all day.
I love the smell of Love, Chloe but unfortunately it turns disgusting on me. This one turns much more spicy and smells very reminiscent of leather (which isn't one of the notes listed but it really does) but I like it. On the blotter it was just a deeper richer fragrance then the original. It smells strangely masculine on me so I'd probably layer something a little more floral or sweet to make it a bit more feminine.
Today I almost bought a bottle of Chloe Love Intense blindly, but fortunately in the last minute the seller found the tester and I could test it on my skin.
Hmm..I have to say on paper this essence is a really stronger and much intense than the original Love -(which I love), but neighter I nor the seller wasn't able to make difference between the two fragrances on my skin. :)(Love Intense was less powdery and more soapy on paper, on me exactly the same as original Love)My chemistry is playing with me again.:)
So I remain of the original Love.:)
I am sorry to sound so out of tune among positive reviews, but I find this scent so vulgar that almost makes me sick. It's aggressive in an unpleasant way on my skin and this is odd as I can wear Opium and my skin chemistry turns it in a soft spicy scent. There must be some ingredient in Chloé Love Intense that goes the wrong direction on me. I would not certainly recommend a blind buy.
This version is just as beautiful as the original! Stunning. This Love Chloe franchise has made an outstanding start! Unique and lovely fragrance.
This is a very nice surprise! The original Chloe Love is a powdery, vintage 70's scent - it achieves the brief very well without being "old lady-ish" and is more then pleasant. But Eau Intense is a notch above it: in the opening notes, I get leather, which I love - I guess it is the iris. I could not check how the notes developped as I tested this fragrance on a strip of paper. I found the strip in my handbag 2 days ago, and the drydown is still very strong (made my bag smell beautiful). I get spicy vanilla, with just a hint of flowers, which stops it from being sickly. This drydown is a warm skin scent, and I think I will invest in a bottle for the winter as my boss is currently wearing my signature Coco Mademoiselle. And the added bonus is that the bottle is very handbag friendly!
This intense version is more wearable for me. The powderyness has been toned down, due to the vanilla and perubalsem. I find it personally [ no offence for the ones that love the original one ] more feminine. The original screamed on my skin due to the talc or rice, i know it is still in the intense version to but not so prominent. This intense is softer for me and works for me. I love it.
Comparing to the regular Love the scent has changed drastically. The old-fashioned powder now doesn't prevail, but whispers and makes a lovely balance with the other part of the fragrance. The base of Eau Intense is gorgeous being vanilla balsamic. I don't know to explain but Eau Intense creates the impression of wealth. It doesn't smell like alcoholic drinks but can be compared to an expensive cognac.
I like Eau Intense much more than the regular Love, it is more modern and sexy. However I think some of Love fans will not accept the new version.
Ibought today YSL, Cinema and I received a sample of the wonderful perfume Chloe, Love Intense. And I loooooove Chloe. On me it smells a little like cognac:)
I don't know why, but every time I purchase a perfume, I get a sample that I love even more.
XOXO
I smell lot of warm, intensive, luxury amber in it, nice sweet vanilla and a bit almond. Really long lasting, loud yummy parfum. Not for very young ladys (under 20). This is the only one Chloe, I would buy it, if not so expensive (30 ml/56 €). They are a lot of very good long lasting parfums from a very old parfumery houses out there and for a reasonable prices. Love it, but definitely not for this price. Perfect for the fall and winter. It reminds me a bit of Van Cleef & Arpels Van Cleef, even if that one is a bit less sweet. The flacon is adorable.
