Bazar Christian Lacroix for women

the only perfume that has ever made me say this was created for me...that's me...

Bazar is a very fresh citrus floral fragrance. It lasts long and it smells like oxygen to me. My no.1 favorite. Loved it the first time i used and and will love it forever. :)

I loved Bazar. It's a fun, opinionated, provocative scent. Reminds me of an adorable loud girl. Each of us probably has a friend like that, the one who seems to possess every feature supposed to turn people off, yet her joyful disposition and charisma make all resistance futile.

I loved it, but I don't think I want to wear it anymore.

i'm with janmcm on this. i liked it's citrusy quality initially...i even smelled a tobacco note when it was just in the bottle. but as i wore it, it seemed to get stronger and stronger until it resembled a really acidic aftershave. it was so masculine on me, not floral at all sadly. i don't do 'green' well and this just confirmed that. on the right person this would be beautifully summery but my skin just exacerbated the peppery-ness. in fact, by the end it reminded me of the original lacoste for men. very pungent. i felt if i'd worn it out the house, it would have entered a room before me. actually, it's made me think i prefer more skin scents....

I got Bazar as a present, I liked it at first but I'm not so sure now. I think it's a bit strong for me. It's definitely better as a summer scent. I usually spray it into the air and walk into cloud so that I just catch a light covering, that seems to work better for me.

Bazar is an orange-colored peppery champagne! It's joyful, warm and radiant. A halo. I wear it on special occasions like Opera, and/or on a special clothing. Autumn&winter rather than spring&summer. I absolutely love it ♥

This was a fresh strong citrusy scent withsome warmth, however there is something about this that doesn't lure me in, it's just got something off about it to my nose. I sprayed it and my husband was sniffing the room and wasn't sure if it was a male or female scent, nor was he sure whether he liked it. No sale.

Interesting enough fragrance. Juicy. Very long lasting. But I like it only in the beginning of its opening. Than it stays too strong and sour on me. Most of all I feel the citrus note and maybe nasturtium. I would wear it if it was a little bit less strong.

I have a new Bazar - is anyone interested? (Send a private message.) I've sprayed only once just to realize that it was not the Summer edition.

How sloppy can one get while shopping on eBay? Blinded by passion and lust; only thinking of purchasing a new perfume as fast as possible...
do not try that at home, it'll become expensive. ;)

A fresh and playful spring/summer fragrance suitable for women of all ages. When I first sniffed it I was 100% sure there was apple in the notes and then was really surprised that it is predominantly floral. IMO Bazar is similar to the classic Burberry Woman, especially in the base notes. It is easy to wear in the office but I guess it would also be perfect for a romantic date in the evening. And last but not least, very good staying power!

This is a beautiful, delicate fresh and floral, long lasting and easy to wear scent. I bought my bottle without testing lured by the reviews here and truly enjoy it for a few months already. Not many sophistication in it but sniffing it evokes a smile and if I feel like something simply nice floral I take Bazaar as my companion on a sunny day. Love it, rally nice.

I am usually not into floral-green fragrances. But, I decided to give this one a try (I even bought a full bottle without trying it first)!

Even if this is not one of my favorites, I have to admit that this is a pretty interesting fragrance.

Top notes are peppery and quite strong, but it settles to a nice and very zesty scent. I do smell citruses in this one, but citruses with a punch. In fact, I have to say that this smells citruses and pepper on me!

At the drydown, I detect an orange juice smell adding to my peppered citruses. lol I guess I've got a strange chemistry...

I am only amazed by all the flowers in this fragrance when I cannot even detect one of them. Funny, but how interesting as an end result.

Edit: As the fragrance is fading away, I am left with a delicious caramel scent on my skin. Bazar is indeed a strange and surprising fragrance.

Christian Lacroix' Bazar is an instant favorite for spring/summer! Top notes are apricot flower, pepper, nectarine and yuzu; middle capucine, rose and frangipani; base guiac wood, iris and sycomore. A modern and sweet floral green composition, the drydown is splendid after a delightful top passes! I do not detect citrus although it is mentioned in the database; more woody and sweet. Reminds me of YSL 'Y' quite a bit. Love at first sniff!

My mom gave me this perfume 4 years ago for my birthday and it became my #1 favorite ever since. It is a very modern radiant floral fragrance. I love this perfume for its long-lasting quality as well. Try it you won't regret! I just love-love-love-love-love it!!! :)
