I Will give this a 5.
opening with intense floral notes.Long lasting with lotus heart and deep musky-cashmere woods at base.

Got this for free from my Avon representative, I knew this cost a bit much, but my friend deserved it more.
Besides, this fragrance wasnt enough to make me want to keep it.

1. Victoria's Secret Very Sexy
2. Christian Lacroix Rouge
3. Calvin Klein Secret Obsession
4. Tom Ford Black Orchid
IMO this fragrance should not have made that list because it is so inferior on every level compared to its list making cousins. Perhaps the wives and girlfriends of the panelists were Avon representatives who formed a posse and had them bailed up at gunpoint. Who knows? There is no other logical explanation, 'cause it (Rouge) ain't sexy.
Rouge is an OK wear, not one I reach for often, I reached for it today in the name of research so I could review it. I have ditched the shower gel and body lotion because they smelled synthetic, but the perfume is bearable for those days when you want to be invisible.

After close to an hour, this does fade some and I can begin to smell a little bit of peony. After two hours, I can almost enjoy the musky/woody base, if it weren't for STILL being able to smell the orange peel.
Pleasant? Not to me. Long-lasting? Not on me. I suggest sampling this one before purchasing!

In the best of all possible worlds, Rouge and Cabaret would switch names and flacons.
Note that Rouge is also listed on this site under Avon where there are more reviews. It is the same fragrance: Lacroix for Avon.
