I'm ALMOST certain my sisters wore this.. in the days where I remember playing Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo.. and when Skip-Its were genius. This fragrance is just so fresh, pleasant and clean.
This used to be my favortie perfume, then one day a boss of mine (who was a fat slob pig) said, "wow, it smells like ant spray in here", he said that every time I wore it. I stopped wearing it after that even thought others had complimented me on it. I miss it but the ant spray comment really bothered me.
Happy Heart is the one I like the least from The Happy line. It's smells very pungent and to my nose its just like bug spray or some mosquito skin repellent (like Off! for those who knows it).... I think it must be the Hyacinth... It's strong and long lasting (6hrs+), and can easily be a headache trigger if you use more than 2 sprays...the whole scent doesn't evolve much, it's quite linear so the stuff you smell when u just spray is pretty much what u will get stuck with for some long, long, hours....
Definitely try before you buy!...
To me (and on me) it smells transparant fresh watery cucumbery citrusy floral. It's my perfume for casual carefree days. For weekend and holidays. But be careful. this is potent. More than 3 sprays possible in causing migraine. lLongevity is clinique quality guarantee.. At least 10 hours on me.. Sometimes more than that. Sillage is moderate. An arm length.
Love the smell- they say it is too floral but I find it citrusy and really fresh. I just wish it smells more strong and lasts longer
its scent after down dry makes me feel warm, like it :)
not sure the parfum made from u.s.a will different from switzerland or not (I re-purchased and it's from switzerland.. smell a bit diff to u.s.a... (- -?))
I find it quite cheap and annoying, and think it lacks the joyful character of the original happy. all the other notes in it are masked under this overwhelming aquatic note, but not in a fresh cucumber-y way as the list of the notes say. I can't exactly describe it, but my best try would be that I constantly feel like I'm trying to sniff something that's under water.
This is my fav lunch or afternoon tea party perfume. My weekend perfume too.
Meh. It definitely smells like Clinique. It's one of those scents where I love it on other people, but on me it doesn't pair well with my chemistry, and it gives me a headache when I spray it more than once on my skin. It has a very strong and pungent floral element, and it smells the same the entire time I'm wearing it; it doesn't seem to have a drydown on my skin. I will wear it once in a while because my husband bought it for me (I gave away the first bottle he gave me, lol), but all in all, not my cuppa.
on me it smells like sweet strawberries, which stiffles the watery, sparkling oceanic notes.Interestingly, strawberries are not listed among the ingredients
If this were a mans fragrance it would be named "Clinique Happy Intense" as the citrus takes a back seat and supporting role to the lovely florals in this version. I absolutely love this scent on a woman! It may be mainstream and familiar (like AdG is for men) but also formal and intoxicating (think Dior Homme) at the same time. No, it may not be quite Chanel quality but this 'fume attracts me every time!
-A mans opinion
I love it, it's great for everyday wear. It's quite floral-y and clean. It's not over powering at all and makes a great spring or summer fragrance.
I like the smell, but its a perfume that you should only take a few spritz, otherwise its too overwhelming. its as girly scent.
really nice inoffensive smell.very feminine.good for spring and summer time.
I love it. It's clean and fresh.. It's good for summer. :)
This is an amazing spring/summer fragrance. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't last, at all! And after wearing it for only a week or two, I begin to not smell it at all anymore. This is a signature fragrance for me, but I can only wear it for about a month out of every 6.
wearing this one is feeling like a lady in the paradise.. try this...so youthful scent like.
i had this perfume, but i got tired of using it after about 1 month.it is boring and causes headache :|
This perfume doesn't do much for me. To me it definitely smells floral. It's just an okay scent. I would never buy a bottle of this after trying a tiny bottle I came across. It's just not a great scent.
I almost bought this! The sales assistant didn't care for it. I kept sniffing my sample, and just loved it! I sprayed my arm and shopped awhile. I had to agree, this wasn't nice on. I came up with a bitter citrus scent which was comparable to the rind of a grapefruit. It was the only thing I could smell, nothing of the sweet bright cheery summertime scent that was on the card. It had some good lasting power, just not pleasant enough to WANT it to last so long. Talk about bargain shopping! Didn't spend a dime after all!
This is actually more floral, fresh and clean compared to Happy's more citrusy sunny approach, which I loved too nonetheless. I love how it is completely different for the latter in the sense that it's still very fragrant and distinctly remarkable in a way that's not too cheery or overpowering. Perfect for a day out in the park or just your regular everyday fragrance. Stays long too :)
So thankfull I can sniff HH at dept.store before blindbuy at perfume onlineshops. I love the top notes, fresh, airy, verygood for summer. Definitely I was going to buy this! But I tried to be wise, the price is more expensive. When I got into the our travelling bus, maybe 1 hour after sprited HH, oh... I smelled something weird, I just don't like it. The middle and base notes were not for my nose, could not enjoy HH as I really expecting on a perfume I'd like to purchase. Had erased it on my 'want list'
Amazing perfume! It has been my ultimate favourite perfume of all for many years. When I wear it and close my eyes I imagine myself in flower garden, in a beautiful flowly dress on a sunny summers day. It also reminds me of a real rose. When you smell a rose there is many delicate layers of scent that combine beautifully together. It the same way when you smell this perfume it just wow! It floral, sophistacted, soft and fresh. I really love it :)
This is just glorious! The watery, cucumbery freshness is so invigorating! Love it, perhaps even more than the original Happy, which I totally adore as well.
Edit. excellent longevity too :)
I prefer Happy Heart to Happy. I got this as a birthday gift from my husband 2/3 years ago. I cherish this.
bought it recently.all i have to say is it doesn't last on me.hardly past an hour
This fragrance doesn't make me feel happy at all.
I bought it this winter and using it sometimes.
definitely not my signature scent and
I don't think I will buy it again..
hands down my favorite perfume ever! nothing hasn't even come close for me. I fell in love with the smell right away and I've been using it for the past 5 years. the name "Happy Heart" is exactly how I feel when I wear it. My boyfriend loves this on me, he said I smell really yummy lol. It's a beautiful fragrance. Not overpowering at all and very feminine. Lasting power is good. Bottom line is Clinique Happy Heart smells wonderful on me and I guess that's all that matters lol
i tried my friend's and i think this is sooo fresh and clean. love it but not for everyday.
This fragrance smells really nice, to me it smells just like coach poppy flower. I like this one a lot better than Clinique happy. This is a pretty uplifting floral.
This is a tender hearted clean scent. I love the opening because it's fruity and bright. The middle and ends are very soapy smelling. I imagine this is what the really nice ladies of the world smell like. If you had a next door neighbor who volunteered at the soup kitchen, made you brownies when your dog died, and watched your kids for free this is what I imagine her wearing. Just a really innocent, kind hearted, light fragrance.
As much as I like this, it just isn't for me. The soapy quality of it gets too strong and gives me a headache.
It was love at first smell :) Fresh, gentle, clean
I think the name of this perfume fits the scent very well. Happy Heart is a bright and zesty floral. Unfortunately, it can be a little to sharp sometimes.
Fresh, light (yet long-lasting), sweet but not syrupy ... happy heart is the perfect name for this intoxicating scent. Love it!
This perfume it´s a work of art. It´s so fresh and elegant, I love it!
after applying this i cant stop sniffing my wrist , oh my goodness its really fresh with a very well balanced floral ,sweetness ,freshness all in all very elegant and not overpowering, the longevity is amazing. a must hav for floral fresh lovers.
I work with someone who always gives me this perfume for christmas or other occasions. I receive many compliments on it, I like the smell , but don't love it. But it's very long lasting which is good. I wear it on certain occasions.
One of my all time favorites! On me it smelled like fresh flowers, even on the dry down. Most scents tend to dry down powdery or musky on me but this one stayed smelling like a fresh picked bouquet of flowers. So crisp, clean, and not overpowering at all. Perfect scent for everyday. It really makes me feel happy.
I didn't like this as much as I hoped I would. It has a very fresh, clean, happy scent, no doubt, but I guess I wanted it to be a tiny bit more sweet and flowery. Someone said it smells like Coach Poppy but I disagree. And now that I look at the notes again I should have known! haha Anyway, it's nice but not exactly my style. My husband likes it though so I'll still wear it sometimes.
I went on two vacations, New Orleans and Cabo, and started a new job with this scent. It is very optimistic and energetic but soft and feminine. I got lots of compliments with this as well. I don't remember why I stopped wearing it...maybe a change of seasons. Happy Heart is very spring and summer. As a matter of fact, outside the job I mentioned earlier, hummingbirds would come to visit the planters by the front doors and windows. Happy Heart makes me think of hummingbirds every time. This scent makes me hate that I'm so fickle with perfumes. So much to smell...so little time!
I had this on my wardrobe for months. And i had some few sprays.Today, the day was sunny, Saturday morning, no work, no cooking ,nothing...just hung out with friends by the sea...And i'm in front of the perfumes. My eye stuck on Happy Heart.Ok lets see...spritz a few times and gone!
I felt something, refreshing, renewing, and as i joined my company, they all told me Hey! You smell really good!!! Like the sunshine! And yes...Weather was a bit cold. And one girl came beside me and took a strong dose of HH.I think i prefere it in cooler months cause it makes me feel so special and feel like running by the sea with my sweater... It gives me beautiful images...
This friend of mine just ordered it from the internet!
I love Happy Heart. I usually go for typically more complex, a bit spicier, "oriental" or a bit more in-your-face chypre scents. But, there's something about Happy Heart. There are plenty of pretty, happy, everyday scents out there. But, I never really love those scents. But, Happy Heart stands out because it's smells so honest. It's just so outgoing and bloody damn happy. The honesty of Happy Heart, not the usual coy, flirty prettiness, is what makes it truly a joy for me.
very fresh, pretty, floral scent.. but idk why, sometimes this smells like balloons to me.
I tried this from a perfume store and oh I just have to have it! Will start saving for this one.
I was really surprised as I just had 1 spritz near my elbow and left and didn't mind at all when suddenly its refreshing smell poke me and I fell in love already. A fragrance like no other! I think I can trade all my perfume for this!
Happy Heart is beautiful, fresh, ethereal fragrance that smells just like a garden on cool summer morning after the rain. Very natural smelling on my skin. It opens quite loud with mandarin and watery cucumber. Then it settles into soft floral with sweetness from the carrot. Never thought that carrot could be used in fragrance but in this one it is really sweet and nice, almost fruity (think the taste of a freshly picked sweet and juicy summer carrot). From here the scent doesn't really change anymore and the cucumber, carrot and flowers linger throughout.
On warm weather this is cool and fresh on my skin, but on cooler weather I can feel the warmth that some reviewers have described and the scent feels stronger and somehow different, a bit spicy maybe. Still nice but I prefer this during warm/hot summer days when it works with my skin better.
Great sillage and lasting power, you really don't have to spray much.
I like the bottle and packaging: simple but beautiful. And I wish I could give this perfume some love, but it always smells really off on me... I guess it just doesn't work with my body chemistry....
It's a nice scent.. quite nice in fact but doesn't have a personality enough.. I eventually got bored but finished my bottle because I had to...
I tried this scent and it seem promising at first outgoing fresh and flowery but as time went by and it came to the base notes I changed completely on me. It just became suffocating and not fresh at all. It was too musky for my taste or perhaps it was the sandalwood??? Clinique Happy didn't like it either, I tried wearing it and my husband asked me If I had been around a smoker! I think this two fragrances share some similarities. Simply not for me!
I´ve been trying to find a perfume that makes me feel as good as this, I´ve smelled many and none of them have managed to say "I like this better thant Happy Heart", the only one I like "almost" like this, is Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, not even because it is Chanel.
Happy Heart is unique, unlike any other, I love it and think it's perfect for me. At the beginning appears the cucumber, then the water hyacint adds a strong and flowery note, after that, the mandarin orange makes the balance and adds a citric and exquisite freshness, these are the highlights of the perfume, the mixture between them is sharp but a minutes later becomes a delicious scent, discreet, elegant, young, and incredible long lasting.
For me this perfume is great not because the ingredients are the most interesting (carrot? really?), but because together they make a unique perfume, which has the perfect balance of sweetness, floral notes, fruity notes and freshness. To me it is not just a Chypre-Floral, is a work of art.
(As my last and fast review of Happy Heart, I still give it 11/10)
Happy Heart is the fragrance that I like the Clinique brand as it bears some resemblance to clinique happy, but more enjoyable, refreshing, lively, romantic and a floral finish. Exquisite aroma, which leaves you feeling clean and fresh ideal for summer or spring, though I wish I had better fixation.
I tried Happy Heart and Happy In Bloom 2011 today at Macy's. They both are very similar at the top as all the Clinique Happy does with its bright fruit clean and cheerfulness. While the Happy Heart is a bit greener, the Happy In Bloom is just goos old fruity and fun.
Quickly, Happy Heart becomes soapy on my skin and In Bloom gets more floral but still very clean fruity. I don't care much for the Heart Heart because I don't like the soapy quality, but Happy Heart outlasts the In Bloom 2011 by a long shot! At this point, I can no longer smell In Bloom 2011 but Happy Heart becomes sweet creamy/watery floral and gentle wood.
Generally, I get about 3-4 hours out of these two perfumes. Maybe Happy Heart is a bit longer because I still can smell it close to my skin. Not sure which is better but they both are lovely. All Clinique Happy perfumes are lovely, I think.
I would just go for the look of the bottle and let the best price wins.
fresh, playful and joyful as drops of dew, I like more than the original clinique happy
Just another light floral. Somehow all Clinique scents except for Elixier do smell the same to me: light florals that hurt noone and are on the market so often.
I was surprised at how much I ended up liking Happy Heart. It's not really like any other fragrance I've tried. It's floral but also green and vegetal. The cucumber and air/water notes give this a really fresh, crisp feel without being aquatic. At the same time, the floral notes make this scent soft and pretty. It makes me think of being in a sunny, gorgeous garden in the middle of summer with the comforting scents of sun-warmed plants and flowers all around. Refreshing and uplifting.
This wasnt my original choice from my perfume wardrobe today. 1st choice was going to be ck escape. which i went mad looking for throughout my perfume collection.Overwhelming when u have my amount of perfumes!. love them all dearly xx. Anyways Happy Heart was my 2nd choice as i was in the mood for a floral aquatic feel and it fits the bill perfectly!.Love the bright citrus cucumberry floral watery feel it radiates. I dont seem to get any sandalwood or woody notes atall. think they must be used more just as a fixitive in this scent. It stays fresh and beautiful for hours. A real "Must have" for summer. :)
Ive always loved how sweet and floral and long lasting this is. Definitely worth it!
This has been my staple summer scent for the last few years but I have now got a bit bored with it. The opening is a little sharp - that is quite nice on very hot days but it can also get on your nerves after a while.
The body lotion is very creamy and I prefer the scent it gives off - far less sharp than the perfume.
I tried this on during a cool day and was pleasantly surprised. A totally different experience than I had previously with it. It's not sweet or watery cool, but it's fresh and welcoming. This became my feel-good winter scent this year. I like this one for Fall/Winter and Happy In Bloom for Spring/Summer, I think.
I found myself choosing Happy Heart every time i feel a little down!
It is one of those "out of shower" scents that made you feel comfortable, clean and mostly calm.
Smells like nature! Must be the vegetable notes!
I absolutely love this scent, is feminine, elegant, fruity, a little sweet, a little spicy (but not too much ´cause i don´t like spicy ones) Is fresh and fruity but in a classy way, totally amazing. When I wear this , I can´t stop sniffing myself, and I recive so many compliments. It lasts all day long, and when I wake up in the morning stills there, This is my signature perfume. I give it 11/10!
just sniffed it once, first it smell ok, fruit citrusy, but later, it smells like one of those dishwashing soaps (0__o)a
I so WISH I could write this review with a happy heart.
The opening had me fooled....so cool, and refreshing.
Almost like finding an ornate fountain of heavenly water in the middle of a desert.
So succulent I couldn't stop smelling my wrists.
But after a while, something cropped up like thorns and marred the entire experience.
There is something so sharp in this scent ...(the cassia...maybe? )that sliced my nerves with pain. I wouldn't recommend this scent if you're prone to headaches and nausea like me.
However, the notes of carrot and water hyacinth make this scent bearable for me. Soften it like velvet blanket.
Happy Heart could have been one of the most beautiful scents out there. Sadly, it just left me with a distressed heart.
2.5 / 5.
I love this perfume! First smell very strong and spicy, a few minutes later starts getting lighter, fruity and delicious! It last forever!
I have used Clinique Happy Heart for several years. It is very sweet and floral at the same time. It has the longest staying power of anything that I have ever tried! I work 12 hour shifts, and by the end of my day I can still smell it on my skin and clothes. I LOVE this perfume!! I only wish that Clinique would come out with something new...
i'm wearing this perfume right now. it's smell very sweet and citrus but it seems like the smell is not long lasting on me. so, i don't like to buy it anymore
It's incredibly long lasting, like most Clinique perfumes. It's also the only perfume that my spouse notices, or so it seems. I don't know what exactly stands out to him.. to me it smells like a water lily and grass in the Spring time. It's fresh and crisp, while the florals are sheer and breezy. I get quite a lot of compliments with it. So, what they say is true. Even if a perfume doesn't stand out to you, sometimes your chemistry with it is undeniable. Men love Clinique perfumes. I don't know how many have told me Clinique Happy is one of their faves. I imagine because it's so cheerful and inviting.
An astringent floral...not a "chypre" in the traditional sense. Imagine if the chypre-ness of the perfume compressed itself into one burst that didn't change, ever. True, there's citrus and floral and (a very cleaned-up) sharp mossyness, but they come at you all at once... Although it's floral, it's so crisp that if you repackaged + read different notes into it, you could probably market it to men.
This one's probably work-safe: it's one of the few that don't give headaches to my very scent-sensitive mother. Go easy on it, though. This -is- a parfum (even if it's so watery-sharp you might forget and think you're wearing an EdT at times)!
Ditto to everything said about the lotion version of this.
Unfortunately, on my skin Happy Heart smells like a weird combination of flowers and flyspray.
Happy Heart is a beautiful scent!
It's not the typical floral scent. It's more like spring in a bottle! Strong, clean and fresh smell!
To be honest i don't like Happy cause i find it too simple. But this one is really different.
I always get compliments with this one and it's staying a lot on skin.
I wish i had the full size bottle!
Totally recomended!
I didn't expect to like Clinique Happy heart since I assumed that it would smell like Clinique Happy, but boy, was I wrong!
Although Clinique Happy is billed as a floral fruity fragrance with a focus on citrus fruits, I didn't smell that at all. Instead, I got an initial strange astringent don't-know-how-to-describe-it smell which thankfully dried down to a clean musky/woody? scent.
Anyway, back to Happy Heart. I tried Happy Heart side by side with Happy, and was amazed at the difference. This fragrance is very floral - the words "soft" and "feminine" come to mind. Now, I don't mean "soft" as in "light" - Happy Heart has great staying power and sillage. I could still smell it on my wrist hours later. But I mean soft as in... a woman who exudes femininity - she's not loud or hard-edged and doesn't demand that you recognize that she's a woman. She's confident in herself and her attractiveness.
An interesting note about this perfume is that it doesn't develop over time. What you smell is what you get, which is nice if you want an uncomplicated don't-want-to-think-too-hard fragrance or if you just want to smell like flowers all day. However, if you're the kind of person who likes her perfumes to evolve over time, you'll probably get bored with smelling the same all the time.
As for me, I own a bottle for those simple, laid-back days where I just want to revel in simple, classy girly clothes :]
yes agree this smell doesnt develop.smell same in ev.one..great..vry lasting in 1st spray until 8 hour the same smell be..5 star
I wanted to like this fragrance, I really did. I have a 50ml bottle so I had a lot of chance to test it but every time I put this on, it felt like I am wearing some cleaning-sterilizing product rather than a feminine perfume.
In terms of longevity, this product is amazing. It stays for 10 hours just as the same, it doesn't develop, doesn't mellow down and it smells the same on everyone.
Don't get me wrong, I love smelling clean. I like DG-Light Blue, Boitherm splashes, Yves Rocher "Naturelle", some Moschino's etc.. But Happy Heart, despite it's lovely name, bottle and concept, is just trying too hard..
My grandma got me a bottle of this for Christmas in 2004, and I keep it because she got it for me, but...
I've wanted to like this fragrance. I've worn it in different phases of my life, trying to be as open minded as possible. I think the floral just hits me way too hard. The water hyacinth in it is ruthless and bitter and it keeps reminding me it's there. The reminder isn't pleasant. And there's no drydown. It smells the same on top as it does when you go to scrub it off the next morning - with the same intensity.
I'm not saying it's not a good perfume - it's an excellent perfume, quality-wise. But CHH is proof to me that some perfumes work with you...and some hate you as much five years later as the day you got them.
This fragrance is very good with cold weather)
this has been my perfume of choice since '04 .. My hubby got it for me as a gift. It smells like honeysuckle to me..thats the hyacinth I suppose. Comments are pleasant year round.. Happy Heart is a lot less citrusy than Happy. Not a fan of citrus but I LOVE this! I'm very versatile though bc right now I am wearing el pleasures delight
WOOOOW..
I VERY VERY VERY LOVE THIS SMELL..
SOO FRESH, YOUNG..
MMMMHHH,
I ALWAYS FEEL HAPPY AFTER USE THIS...
TRY THIS !!!
It smells fresh and classy on me =)
A schizophrenic perfume. Use it heavily and the hyacinth is the primary note, use it lightly and the cucumber and mandarin orange predominate. It's a delightful summer scent but ease into it with a light touch. Odd side note: the hand cream has a brighter citrus feel to it with the carrot and cucumber more noticeable. The lotion lasts for quite a while so it's an excellent value.
Happy Heart manages to be light & fresh, but classy all in one whiff. I feel it is a safe everyday fragrance, yet remains distinctive. Must be the cucumber or carrot notes that make it unique.
Its good but not good enough for me to want to wear it more than once. Its seriously not worth going and buying a whole bottle. I found happy and happy heart to be those kinds of perfumes that are quick to annoy.
I liked it very much, on my skin it smelled liked a freshly laundred cotton t-shirt, quite clean but snuggly clean.
I do believe that this scent would suite most people. It is a very pleasant and delightful scent that gets better as the day goes by. I have both Happy and Happy Heart, and Happy Heart is much nicer,in my opinion. If there was a category for clean, fresh, or soapy scents, I would put this one in that category. It is also very unique. I have not smelled a single perfume anywhere near Happy Heart. Some have said that it is too sharp for them, but I totally disagree. I find it soft and very feminine. Perfect for a work fragrance. Many think that it is a good summer scent, but I think it would be good for any time of year and any time of day. One of my all time favorite scents!
Happy Heart could be a wonderful gift to any girl. I don't think you can go wrong with it. As others have said, it smells like you have freshly showered.
But.. there is something disturbing and sharp in it that I cannot put my finger on. It is like a beautiful song that performed by a very high-pitched voice.
At first it's sharp fruity then become fresh soap for me. It's nice and fresh but I prefer "Happy" because I like citrus scent.
I recently purchased Happy Heart body cream and was pleasantly surprised. A tiny small dollop on your wrists and neck is all you need. I love the scent (and it really lasts). After trying this, I'm through with sprays.
Very floral but still warm. This is a pretty and nice fragrance. Perfect for daywear in summer and spring, I immediately fell in love with this clean flower scent!
Smells like a whole meadow full of beautiful dewy flowers. Absolutely lovely, "out-of-the-shower" feeling included.
Lasts very long, too.
Still, the original Happy is a hint better in my opinion, and this is not available anymore. Sad enough... :(
Happy Heart is basic yet pretty.
This fragrance doesn't make me jump up and down for joy or do somersaults across the room, however I do feel much happier when wearing it.
Happy Heart is a light fruity floral which has a tendency to be clean and slightly soapy, but not overly so. It has some similarities to Happy, also by Clinique, however this fragrance isn't as citrusy.
The cucumber in the top notes adds a unique, cool watery freshness that I really enjoy. Cassia also adds a nice spicy subtlety which is reminiscent of most Clinique fragrances.
I found the note of carrot to also be surprisingly good and far from the predictable path that Clinique could have chosen. It was unfortunate that this fragrance just didn't agree with my skin chemistry. I would have considered it if it did.
This will always be one of my favorite scents. I remember when it came out back in my junior year of high school. One of my friends walked in the class room, and smelled so delicious and clean. This is such a wonderful fragrance. I definitely like Happy Heart more than Happy. Although i do still ove the original. But HH is a touch sweeter and more floral than fruity. HH is a great spring and summer scent. But i wear it all year round. I am on my 3rd bottle of this. HH has great lasting power and silleage. Even when i cant smell it on myself, people in the other side of the room will complement "the girl with the beautiful perfume" :)
I would like to buy this again, always been one of my favorites. More compliments than anything else I've had before.
I love it. Men and women alike ask me what I'm wearing. No one has ever said anything but good things about it. If you like florals that don't smell like your grandmother - this is the one for you. If you like those heavy, overpowering spicy fragrances, then this one is not for you. It's very feminine.
I absolutely adore this smell! It's everything I love: fresh, clean, sweet, floral and delightfully happy smelling. Also, it works so well with my chemistry and lasts all day. Definitely a keeper!
My skin chemistry turns this scent into a strong fruity floral, and first definetely more fruity than any floral. However, it must have something in it because my husband loves it and this perfume is very attractive according to him. For me, it's too simple, too shower cream-like but still it's original and something different. I'm still not sure wether to like i or not, but i suggest to wear it for a day or two before buy it or regret it.
I hated this. It smelled like flowers had died near me. People asked what I was wearing and not in a good way :(
I have enjoyed many fragrances over time, but Happy Heart is blissful. It's the sandalwood that makes this scent, not the carrot or cucumber. I have received more compliants on this perfume than any other. It is spicy and only to be worn by the serious at Heart!
I don't get why so many people are hating on this perfume. I guess I can understand why some people might not like it (especially if they love fruity-florals or oriental fragrances). But me personally, I like it alot. Like other people have said, I had no idea this had a carrot note in it. No wonder it smells unlike anything else I've ever sniffed before, or since I tried it 6 years ago (on my second bottle now). To me, this is a bit strong and heavy (just a little bit) but I think it's still a great perfume. Even though it's summer and I have it on today, I recommend it for cooler weather.
I hate to rain on the parade but this fragrance makes me physically ill. I bought it blindly, thinking it was a fragrance my cousin wore and I adored. Much to my dismay, I discovered that my cousin actually wore the discontinued Clinique Happy to Be, not Happy Heart. Happy Heart is very floral and sharp. It is fresh, but not my style of fragrance. If you like clean, fresh scents this might be for you. Alas, for me, it was flat, shrill, and nauseating.
I loved Happy and so bought a mini of Happy Heart. I really didn't like it on me or on a tester- too much mandarin and overly strong florals. I gave it away (though I have to say, it took me a long time to find someone who wanted it)
What is it with the "happy" line of fragrances? they all in a way smell similar and not good smells. I tried this one the other day and it was gross. Like a softer version of happy with the same dry down as happy. I don't like clinique fragrances at all.
I finished a bottle of Happy Heart long ago. I didn't know that it has cucumber and carrots notes. I only got floral smells. It's not bad but it's not something that I would purchase again.
This is better than Happy because it has more of a floral smell. It doesn't really stand out to me but is a pleasant enough scent.
This one is a very fresh fragrance, it reminds me of clean clothes under the sun. I think it's the best from the "happy" line. I would wear it ocassionally..Very long lasting, despite its lightness.I could smell it after 10 hours...
Clinique's product line of Happy fragrances is just amazing, love 'em all! Happy Heart starts out quite sharp when you spray it on, but soon (half an hour or so) it settles down to something different. Very lovely, fresh, romantic, summery and flowery scent emerges and gives you a chance to enjoy its long-lasting breeze until the end of the day. Beautiful :)
I like the Happy line of Clinique but I something went wrong with this one. Would not recommend.
Younger sister of "happy",just sweeter and fresher but a way too sharp in the beginning. But,when it settle on my skin it become more mellow.I prefer to use it more than original happy. The staying power is superb like her sister.Anyway I can't say that every one would love this one,so don't over apply it.
I got it from a relative. Putting it on, I realized that the scent is very overpowering in a bad way. Then 4 me personally, it began 2 burn my skin literally so I had 2 stop using it immediately. Something I definiately wouldn't try again...
Such a boring fragrance and smelled cheap.
How come an expensive designer perfume smells so light just like a cheap cologne?
1st time i smelled it on my cousin i get it in time but after wearing it i got bored of it and begin to feel headache while im wearing it
it's kind of perfumes that's easy to get bored from it in a short time
I love this scent!
It's fresh, long lasting and delicious!!
Freshhh, clean, bit of sweet & long lasting.
This is so fresh and clean. I have already gone through one bottle and will definitely be re-purchasing. This is one of those really fresh fragrances that can be pulled off at any time of the year.
i love it ...i hope to have it soon
Its strong and fresh at the same time, a bit masculine though.
I like it every time and all day. Beautiful summer fragrance.
love the smell
