8 88 (for women and men)

In March 2008 Comme de Garcons has introduced their fragrance named 8 88 after their lucky number. Its creators wanted to capture and present the scent of gold, in other words, to find an olfactive accord associated to gold. The fragrance was created by Antoine Lie of Givaudan who included a specific molecule derived from saffron, Safraline, into its composition. Besides this innovative component the fragrance includes pepper wood notes, coriander, geranium and exotic curcuma flower, Siam tulip. The whole composition is wrapped in amber, incense and patchouli. (See the photos).

The bottle repeats the shape of Comme des Garcons, this time gold colored with red and golden numbers 8 88.

The fragrance comes as 50ml (1.7 fl.oz.) EDP.

8 88 is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008.
