This one didn't work for me. It definitely is a tea scent, but it went on with an additional nicotine smoke note and the mint edge only made it weird and jarring. Dry down was better, but the smoke note has a plastic edge in stages, which make it seem screamingly synthetic. My chem and this scent aren't friends, I guess. Pass.

from far the bottle looks extremely cheap compared to the CDG series usual fineness. From close, it looks a bit more sophisticated, but I just dont think this perfume and bottle is in harmony with the perfume house's values.

Yesss! I don't get GREEN tea, but a noseful of strong BLACK tea, and I mean strong, and woody, poured onto a handful of crushed mint leaves. In the drydown a little hint of sweetness appears. I would like this perfume to stick around for me to smell some more but for me it was gone in an hour. I've still got the rest of my sample - maybe if I use it all in one go I will get some longevity, because I want to love this one.

I'm not a particularly fanciful or poetic person, but this smell transported me to the Silk Road, squatting in a yurt, wrapped in skins and furs in front of a smoky fire, while icy winds buffet, and the tethered horses are restless. I am crouched inside with my tin mug full of this elixir.

Wow... I love this! I don't normally go for fresh/minty notes, but the tea and mint in this meld beautifully, with a teensy hint of chocolate in the background.

There was a time that CdG made beautifull and priginal scents with normal prices, easy accesible and fun. Although i don;t fall for very sweet scents i Liked almost all of the Series 7 . And of course i cherished Nomad tea. This fantastic marriage of herbal bitter artemisia, green tea and shining woody background. maybe my favorite tea scent.
