amazing green! fresh, sweet, grassy, super-nice!
The opening of Green smells more like a mojito than any fragrance I have ever sampled. Why? Probably because it isn't trying to. Take THAT, Demeter!!
...
Green has a hint of saltiness which makes it almost wander into margarita territory, but ultimately it registers as a light, true mojito scent. Projection and longevity are low, but perhaps on someone else they would be better.
The drydown is sweet mint, accompanied by a light, earthy mineral vetiver. It reminds me of the soil clinging to the roots of the mint plant right after you pull it from the ground.
The final notes smell synthetic sweet and abstract green.
I would much rather drink a mojito, but at least Green smells good, and the mint is not obscured. Light, casual, summery mint.
This is a fresh cool scent built around lime and vetiver. It reminds me of Paul Smith Story, but this is a little lighter.
Very refreshing and pleasant. Good longevity and silage. Overal: 7.5 out of 10.
I really had high hopes for this, but I find the top too sweet and the longevity unacceptably short. There is definitely mint as others have commented, but with the lime, I get a somewhat syrupy sweet mojito scent. This is completely a personal preference- I want the brightness and bitterness of the citrus peel, not the candy sweetness. The mint is gone quickly and I am left with a non-specific sweet greenness. With CdG's track record of unusual offerings, maybe this is their goal, but I am sniffing in vain for the juniper, vetiver and cedar. I poured the entire sample vial on my arm, not just a couple drops, and after 30 minutes, I can barely smell anything. The drydown is a slight vetiver whiff, but too little for me. Disappointing; given the list of notes, I really wanted to love it.
One of fresh scent that I wear this summer. Imagine mint, mixed with jasmine and lime. The dry down a bit powdery to my nose, but still I can smell leafy scent. Both man and woman can wear it. This is simple scent, but still unique, young and modern. Typical of Comme des Garcons collection :)
I don't see mint listed as one of the notes but it's listed in the discription. Anyway, sounds interesting.
