Bois De Filao Comptoir Sud Pacifique for men

Ohh this is unisex, but leaning towards masculine. Starts with fresh woody + bergamot before it moves to pink pepper after about an hour or so. And after 3-4 hours it dries down to a light amber with a hint of musky patchouli. It last long, about 7-8 hours with a pretty good silage. You don't need to re-apply in the afternoon, and that's great. Overall it's really a good scent. I bought it blind online and I'm glad I did.

this one is not a male scent at all. strange how perception of scents differs between various people. for me, this is Hiris with something I´ve always missed in that fragrance. You know, Hiris smells a bit cheap to me. I like it very much but it smells just like any of Yves Rocher fragrance. This was an unhappy love till I´ve met Bois de Filao. It is much more sexy than Hiris, more interesting though in a gentle way. And still BdF has everything that I liked in Hiris. Grate!!

can't agree, this one isn't so bad! it reminds me of paul smith men, of CdG2 and trussardi skin.

Literally Bois de Filao makes me sick at my stomach. Yes, I realized after I sprayed it on that it was more of a men's scent. Even on a man, I think only a man with a certain chemistry would be able to carry this one off. On my skin the patchouli totally overwhelmed every other note. Would not purchase again.
