Vanille Banane Comptoir Sud Pacifique for women

Banana cream pie, my fiance loves it. I think its a little bit like those banana hard candies you find, this scent is NOT for everyone. Undeniably delicious and short lasting, but the price is good and its discontinued, so if this sounds appealing get it now! The reviews are spot on.

a VERY genuine scent of super ripe bananas. you have to like bananas to like this scent. very smooth and creamy, but clean and fresh. this one is odd, because it's a sweet scent (obviously) but it's not exactly a warm musky type scent. i could easily wear this in springtime, not only winter. this is a gem! especially if you like the smell of bananas, it's a must! unfortunately, i'm not a fan of bananas.. actually, i sort of hate bananas. it's just a nice addition to my collection.

"Vanille Banane" is another surprise by Comptoir Sud Pacifique. It really captures the genuine scent of bananas and banana leaves and mix these "strange" notes with vanilla and rum. Lovely composition and it stays for 4-5 hours on my skin. I know it'll sound strange, but the base reminds me of cardboard boxes...

This smells so good... but I agree that it doesnt have lasting power...and that's why I never bought it. Inexpensive, so I'm not surprised. It's a shame because there isn't alot of genuine banana scented perfumes and I'm looking for one of quality, badly.

i love the scent of bananas. this is totally fabulous, but unfortunately, it doesnt have much lasting power. it is a lovely example of the usage of the essence of banana in fragrance though, truly tropical and exotic. if only it lasted longer..

I love the banana, rum and vanilla scents in this perfume. It mixes to form the most delicious fragrance. It is very tropical. When I wear this I often get stopped by people wanting to know what I am wearing. They have no idea it is banana that they are smelling. They just think it's sweet, and they can't quite put their finger on it.
I had one person stop me and ask what it was, and they were very surprised when I told them. They got a pad and pen out and wrote down the name so they wouldn't forget.

this is my go-to fragrance. everytime i go to a new place/city and people who don't know me (and don't know the fragrance yet) i always get compliments. always.

OK if you want to smell like Laffy Taffy...I love CPS les vanilles but this one just wasn't for me :(

The reviews for this fragrance were spot on! So, I can't claim to not know what I was getting myself into when I bought this. I wanted this because I needed a whiff of nostalgia--the banana flavored gum my granny always handed us when we visited. A sane person would probably go the grocery store pick up some of that gum. The idiot I am bought a whole bottle which-I just realized-is more than enough and not very practical.

This scent is bananas. B. A. N. A. N. A. S. The embodiment of funny.

Hahah I agree with the first post. It smells great, and I'd love to have it part of my collection... but people might wonder why I smell like bananas- it's not often that you smell them on people!

its nothing for every day, but if you go out for an ice cream or coffee & cake i think its a funny nice perfume!!

I love bananas in most forms, even the artifical candies and everything, so I had high expectations for this fragrance! I thought it was divine! My only hesitation was that it smelled so much like delicious, creamy bananas that I wondered what people would think smelling me. If I smelled someone else wearing that fragrance, I would seriously wonder if they were carrying a bunch of ripe bananas on them, or had just finished drinking a banana smoothie.
