Vanille Passion by Comptoir Sud Pacifique is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women. Vanille Passion was launched in 1975.
Total pick me up. Smells like a warm kitchen, vanilla, cinnamon, spices. People tell me I smell like a toasty bakery.
After reading reviews of this smelling like vanilla extreme (also by csp) i purchased this. I do not think they smell all that similar, actually, but this one is lovely. Vanilla extreme is cake, vanilla passion is more of a refined and mature vanilla. I really like it!
got mine today off ebay..and it smells like alcohol..thats it...not vanille smell :( im sad
fyi - vanille passion was discontinued 2 years ago so if u can't smell it or it smells like alcohol it's because of this.
Apparently CSP has changed the formula of this a few times, got mine today and am not too sure how happy I am with this one. I can't seem to smell it unless I press my nose up against my skin... At first spray it smells a little synthetic/alcholic but this disappears pretty quickly, once this is gone it isn't unpleasant, kind of floral, and there does seem to be a cocoa-type note which makes it smell slightly masculine on my skin. Not exactly what I was expecting, it doesn't scream vanilla to me but will probs still wear it. Might try the older version, 'Vanille' if I can find it, failing that, Vanille Extreme.
Is it just me, or does it smell a bit nutmeg-ish?:S I don't know what to say about this other than it smells very Christamasy.
I seem to be the exception here-This fragrance smelled cloying, and weird to me-There was a note of coconut oil going bad-This was a big bad surprise,
more of a "no way!" reaction than a disappointment-surprisingly disappointing.
My ideal vanilla would smell light, natural and not very sweet-nothing like this. I am not sure where to look for such a scent, since this is supposed to be a classic, reliable vanilla.
This smells like bad suntan lotion and sugary vanilla cake with lots of dried coconut.
But maybe Vanille Passion will smell more vanilla, and more passionate on your skin?
Love it! This is one of my faves from the Comptoir Sud line. Warm and soft without being too overbearing - and not chemically or cheap smelling like some vanillas on the market.
I love Vanilla Passion. While Vanille Extreme has more of a sweet, bakery note to this, this is just pure, sweet Tahitian vanilla. Soft, exotic, a tad sexy but UNFORTUNATELY, the lasting power of a body spray. You want a similar smelling vanilla that will actually last the day? Grab a bottle of Molindard's Vanille (in the blue bottle) - best vanilla ever.
Ordered 4 CSP unsniffed, 2nd one to review. While Vanille Extreme is like slightly toasted-sugar-vanilla-swirl this one is more like straight up pure vanilla bean. They are very similar but I love them both! The smell is not strong but it sure does last. I could still smell Vanille Extreme on me this morning!
Very nice vanilla with a hefty dose of cinnamon, smelling rather like a cinnamon donut. Yummy.
This is very comfortable vanilla.
