Sarawak Crabtree & Evelyn for women

Fresh? Aquatic? Maybe because of lemon and bamboo notes. But I only smell a very green, spicy perfume. Sigh.
I understood after that one that I was definitely a city girl. Too much of heady nature here for my taste!

This is a nice fresh green floral. It's subtle and good for daytime wear. I picked it successfully as a birthday gift for an "older lady" :)

Oh, here is a nice fresh feminine fragrance, perfect for summer! It's really like an eau de cologne but has some character. It smells clean, fruity and very acquatic floral, but the good news is that it's not sharp ozonic like many acquatics.
I think that in the middle of summer you may feel like laying close to a fresh pond surrounded by nympheas wearing this one.
After the first (gentle) blast of citrusy freshness, it settles finely on my skin and becomes more mellow, always clean.
Honestly I can't smell ginseng and the ginger is very delicate, finely blended with no sharp edge. No lotus is listed but the acquatic edge makes me think of lotus flowers.
I can't smell deep notes in the drydown. It seems that it really has no wood nor vanilla. I think the bamboo gives a deep
greener drydown. It's definetely not my type of scent for winter. It may appeal women (maybe men) who enjoy clean florals in winter too, especially in crowded places.
It reminds me of an old perfumed deospray with a green label I bought in Germany many years ago, but it's an upscale version, of course!
