CRAZYSTICKS PERFUME REVOLUTION EXPRESSED IN INVENTIVE COLLECTIONS Explore the Happiness of Perfume with the CrazySticks: Personal Stories, Signature Fragrance Collections
An intimate fragrance to share. A luck charm, an amulet, a love-reminder, a moment of poetry, a minute of grace, an outward sign of refinement, a garden in the pocket. A private pleasure, a delicate whisper, a touch of elegance. With individually crafted “olfactory stars”, crazylibellule and the poppies invented a new way to describe the scent composition of these solid perfumes in a stick. Each branch of the star features a note that together enables the unique alchemy of these caress-like perfumes. The Collection will take you on a fragrant journey – an opportunity to let yourself go. Scintillating and enveloping, audacious and liberating, ShanghaiJava is redolent of the daring and mystery surrounding the Orient’s days and nights…a scented study of its fruits and flowers.
BLUE ORCHIDÉE SEDUCTIVE ORCHID, WITH A YLANG YLANG HEART… The Story: Fascinating, bewitching elegant taking possession of the air…she adorns her skin with a man’s shirt, and wears a blue orchid at her waist. She exudes freedom and order, watched by men and women alike as she tugs at the strings of our senses. Ylang ylang, bergamot, bitter orange, jasmine…
I find this cuddly and powdery with a sweet vanilla background. It's cute...and not unpleasant, but I don't feel excited about wearing this anymore than I would about wearing baby powder. It definitely qualifies as a going-to-bed scent, but for sure it's a going-to-bed-for-a-long-winter's-nap vibe. Perhaps useful for layering under another fragrance that is too sharp or spastic, this might be able to ground it a bit.
Crazylibellule and the Poppies SHANGHAIJAVA BLUE ORCHIDEE sounds like some sort of joke, but to my pleasant surprise it's a nice little solid perfume. I applied quite a lot of this roll-up stick in a playful little package because I wanted to see if I could get a genuinely perfumey experience complete with development and sillage. In fact, I did.
The solid heats up on the skin to produce a series of stages which I'd characterize as a whole as a floriental vanilla perfume. There does appear to be orchid and quite a bit of vanilla but the composition is not too sweet, and eventually the ylang arrives on the scene to add more complexity. From start to finish this smells just swell, and I'm sure that anyone who is into oriental vanillas à la Lolita Lempicka (whose packaging is equally whimsical and "girly", albeit in its own unique way) would like BLUE ORCHIDEE.
The notes are all very natural smelling, and I am delighted to have discovered this line. Given the low price, these little batons would make excellent stocking stuffers, too, especially for younger perfumistas.
I had to try this b/c it seems to smells differently on everyone, judging my the reviews. On me it's mostly citrus w/some slightly woodsy vanilla. Got a small sample from Beautyhabit. Don't think I'll buy a full stick. I thought it would be more oriental-vanilla-woody...on me anyway.
This is soft and pretty and inexpensive for an easily portable cute little scent. Staying power is not great (or even very good!) but for what this light powdery- woodsy-floral solid is, it's great!! It is unintrusive and the packaging is just darling!! My wish for this would be a smoother application that glides on (L'Occitane Wild Cherry solid is a perfect example). This would be perfect to wear for a weekend at the Pacific NW beaches!!
This reminds me of a very common lip balm. It has a very soft and calming scent, as teedee says.
Something to put on when you want to relax. A great bed-time scent!
this one doesnt smell jasmine or ylang on my skin...it is more like wonderful soft flowers with a bit of vanilla.
i find it soft, pleasant and calming.
as expected from solids, it stays close on skin.
This is vey sheer. It goes light on the skin, for someone to smell it on you they'd have to be intimate and interactive. I like the way the jasmin is not too strong that it smells like one of those cheap air freshners. It is nice just, not strong enough. To my nose it's jasmine and faint citrus notes, and I pick up on the ylang(slightly.)
