Royal Service Creed for women Pictures

To mark the successful start in 2011 of CREED’s second 250 years, sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED in Paris presents Royal Service, a unique new limited edition collectors’ fragrance hand-blended with flowers, fruits and spices from CREED scents worn by the royal and famous women the CREED dynasty has served since 1760.

Royal Service is packaged in a sculptural hand-blown 6.8 ounce glass decanter with a numbered leather collar, produced exclusively for this limited release. Fewer than 300 decanters, each in a keepsake box, will be made available.

Top Notes:

Like the opening of a palace door, the top note is bergamot from Princess Grace’s CREED Fleurissimo, plus the orange zest of Love In White, worn by two First Ladies (Laura Bush and Michelle Obama). To this gala start, Mr. CREED adds a hint of crisp Mediterranean grapefruit.

Heart Notes:

Iris from the favorite CREED of Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, Fantasia de Fleurs. Mr. CREED adds youth and a contemporary feel with a dab of neroli and gentle daffodil.

Base Notes:

Musk from Queen Victoria’s CREED Fleur de Bulgarie with amber from Eva Peron’s CREED Ambre Cannelle. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Creed Sixth Generation.

Perfume rating: 3.93 out of 5 with 18 votes.

Royal Service Fragrance Reviews

Jonquille had one last dress at the cleaners with a ticket to the ball, but the crowd forgot for she lost her belong.

Unless one simply has a ton of money to flush, how could anyone justify spending $1,900 on 150ml of this when they could get 2,500ml of something indisputably magnificent like Givenchy Insensé? I understand that the bottle is hand blown crystal and the numbers produced are limited, but shouldn't it be the juice inside that's the most important factor?

I can't help but wonder what the ingredients inside actually cost. Maybe $20? It's likely a pretty brilliant move on behalf of Creed, given that so many people who buy their frags buy for the perceived status associated with paying way too much for something. Just imagine the craziness if they did two runs of this stuff and batch numbers came into play. Sacré Bleu!

The scent is somewhat similar to Original Cologne or Pure White Cologne...however I find that Royal Service is unmistakably more rich, more delicate, and the differences lie in the subtle use of iris and amber. Whereas, OC remains more of a dominant citrus and light floral (neroli.) I did a comparison side by side to OC and noticed in the opening, they are alike but shortly thereafter in the dry down, distinct differences emerge. The flacon is a sculptural hand blown 5 ounce glass decanter!

I've decided to redo this review after individually smelling each ingredient that composes this wonderful scent.

This is a Musk dominated scent. It is literally one of the best musk's I have scented. Of coarse it is synthesized due to musk being banned but it still has a some what animalic touch to it. Musk holds the all the notes which, at first, opens with a beautiful citrus blend and dries down to its floral heart, eventually leaving you with musk, ambergris base. A lot of work has been put into this fragrance.

Definitely not your standard fragrance.

I was so lucky to get to sample this fine fragrance today. It is very nicely done neroli/citrus/floral number. The Bergamot and Neroli immediately grab your nose, and then ever so gently the florals start to emerge. I would say this leans to the feminine but could be considered unisex. Would be great in spring and even summer. A very nicely well done cologne that exudes a subtle confidence and quality.
