Eau de Balenciaga is the first men's fragrance of the house. Top notes: lemon, bergamot, petit grain, rosemary and lavender. Heart: carnation, fern, geranium, cedar and sandalwood. Base: amber, moss, musk, vetiver and tonka bean. Available as EDC. Eau de Balenciaga was launched in 1962.

A wonderful Fougere from Balenciaga which was his first fragrance for men. It opens with the typical accords of citrus, pettigrain and lavender before transitioning into the geranium, carnation and cedar middle with the sandalwood which gives it a lovely smooth feel. The tonka in the base is present throughout which gives this a slight sweetness. I feel this is like the original Armani Eau with added tonka. A beautiful and refined men's fragrance. Mature and classy.
