I agree with your reviews.The only negative for me is that it doesn't last..my skin absorbs it like a sponge!lol!Turns like a shaving foam after a few minutes.

what a beautiful, refreshing, and - i'm tempted to say - traditional smell of the good old england! rosemary is one of my favorites, and together with bergamot they make for an almost aromatherapic entree which calms me instantly. unlike the yardley-soap-like lavender, the O&C's heart is very rich, and the base turns earthy, woody, and generally makes for a nice finish.
after being disappointed by so many of czech&speake's creations, especially because of their poor lasting power, i really didn't expect to give this one a thumbs-up. i can still smell the remains of it after 2+ hours, the lavender essence is of an excellent quality - quite frankly, i find it incomparable to other lanvender-based scents. my minus is that for the price, i'd expect a lot better sillage!
overall, O&C is a joyful experience, and an excellent choice for a grounding scent. i like it on me, and would love to smell it on a man in the morning! well done, c&s!

When I dab on Oxford and Cambridge, it is like smelling the English countryside.

From the beginning a camphorous, strong lavender is the main star here. It is supported by notes which, to my nose, seem to be camomille and anise. So the scent is similar to an infusion.

After two hours the fragance is quite light and woody, but lavender is still there, as a pale shade.

Wonderful cologne for both women and men. Very English indeed!
