Vintage Patchouly fragrance is nostalgic and worldly. It starts of with bergamot and rosewood. The heart consists of patchouli, Moroccan rose and Mysore sandalwood, while the base features amber, ambergris, sandalwood, benzoin, ciste, cedar, moss and tobacco.
It is available as 30 ml EDP. The nose behind this fragrance is Dawn Spencer Hurwitz.

I like nearly all of DSH’s fragrances, so it’s no surprise that I love Vintage Patchouly. The patchouli is definitely an important player, but doesn’t dominate the composition. It’s balanced by the rose, the rosewood and the sandalwood, which I almost always get in the top notes as well as the base. The sillage is a clear and pure patchouli scent, but closer to the skin, the main attraction is a beautiful, rich amber. The scent lasts all day.
Patchouli is one of those scents that it’s easy to overdo, but the balance in VP is perfect. If I had the budget and space for a FB, I would buy one. If you like patchouli, I highly recommend that you try VP.
